Yacht Amadeus was designed to please the most demanding of yachtsmen and offers excellent sailing performance. She has a generous uncluttered teak deck with plenty of space for relaxing and sunbathing as well as boasting a foredeck pool.

There is spacious and unique outdoor saloon that features two tables, a bar and barbeque, making it the perfect al fresco spot for outdoor dining and entertaining or simply to relax while watching the passing view.

A special canopy and roll-up windows provide protection when need or enable an indoor out door flow, making it the ideal spot for all weather conditions.

The light-filled and spacious salon is entered via a stairway from the cockpit. The salon boasts ample seating and a formal dining area with seating for up to 12 guests.

Yacht AMADEUS is able to accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 spacious cabins including a Master cabin located forward that features a double bed, vanity unit and generous storage facilities, as well as audio/visual entertainment. The en-suite bath includes a shower and a separate large bath.

Built by the famous Dynamique Yachts shipyard, and having undergone a total refit in 2018, S/Y Amadeus was designed to please the most demanding of yachtsmen. Built for smooth sailing, this elegant cutter rigged sloop has a sleek hull design, comfortably reaching top speeds of 12 knots and ensuring excellent sailing performance. S/Y Amadeus has just undergone this past winter (2018) a major refit such as total repaint top to bottom, new rigging (BSI Denmark), Novourania with new Evinrude 75hp outboard, Splash pool, new Bimini/Sprayhood/Awnings, new exterior fabrics and many other enhancements. In 2016 new “North Sails” were placed onboard. The yacht is maintained in excellent condition with a five-star crew year round. Her generous uncluttered teak deck offers plenty of space for sunbathing. The spacious and unique outdoor saloon has two tables seating upto 12 guests and is a perfect setting for outdoor dining and entertainment. Thanks to a special canopy and roll-up windows, the deck saloon has the added attraction that it can be fully enclosed, making it ideal for all weather conditions. Her forward area includes a splash pool and sun bathing area which can also be shaded with a removable awning. From the cockpit, a stairway leads to the light-filled spacious saloon offering ample seating, ideal for relaxing or enjoying a drink from the bar, and offers a formal dining area. This area also includes a LCD TV, entertainment center, ipod dock station, playstation, and is ideal for indoor activities. She can accommodate 10-12 guests in one full width master stateroom, two double bedded cabins each having one extra single bed and two twin bedded cabins which can be easily converted to double beds (upon request), thus, making her the only 5 double bedded sailboat in the Greek market. She also has a nice selection of toys which include water ski (adult and children), tubes, inflatable canoes, wakeboard, fishing rod and snorkeling gear.

CAPTAIN - Harry Fotopoulos Captain Harry is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Captain Class A’ Diploma. He also holds a Canadian Commercial Pilot license class B, sailing and speedboat license. He has over 15 years of experience onboard many types of Charter Yachts. He holds Certificates in GMDSS, Fire Fighting & First Aid, Personal Safety, Life Saving, and Ship Security. He has a great knowledge of the Greek islands and will navigate guests to remarkable destinations. During his one season on board he showed great leadership skills and received positive feedback from all guests. He is calm yet very outgoing and speaks very good English. DECKHAND - Konstantinos Santas CHIEF STEWARDESS - Mirella Davint Mirella has 8+ years of experience as a stewardess onboard charter and private yachts. She has a very pleasant personality and she aims to accommodate her guests to the fullest. Comments received from previous guests are memorable. This will be Mirella’s eighth season onboard. Mirella speaks English and she is 38 years old. ENGINEER - Stelios Mandos Stelios holds an Engineer Class B’ Diploma from the Greek Merchant Marine Academy as well as a Sailor’s License. He has over 15 years of experience onboard Ocean-Going Vessels and Charter Yachts. His hobbies include spearfishing and sailing. He speaks good English. Stelios is 45 years old, married with two children. CHEF - George Bakas George is 56 years old and has worked as a chef for more than 20 years in numerous hotels restaurants, mega yachts and resorts throughout his career. George loves to entice his guests with his delicacies. He is experienced and handles his dishes with pride and looks forward to include his guests into his culinary world. He speaks excellent English and Greek. We are confident that he will serve his guests unforgettable flavors with a mediterranean touch! ASSISTANT STEWARDESS - Maria Spiliotis Maria is 25 years old and has been in the yachting industry since 2019. Her working experience includes 2 years as a housekeeper and assistant stewardess. Maria speaks good English. One of Maria´s strongest attributes is her appetite for work. She is also very sociable, welcoming and looks forward to having guests on board S/Y Amadeus. DECKHAND - Nikos Panagos Nikos is hard working and has had over 7 years experience on various charter yachts. He holds a speedboat license and safety certificates. He is pleasant, outgoing and enjoys sailing. He speaks English and Greek.

Her master cabin features a walk around king bed, desk/vanity, and en-suite bathroom. Additionally, there are two guest cabins each with a queen bed convertible to two twins, and two guest cabins each with a queen bed and twin bed. Each guest cabin has an en-suite.

Her main salon has a spacious, contoured conversational area, along with a large, flatscreen T.V. The aft deck features al fresco dining with Bimini top. Up on deck there are sun pads and a splash pool for you and your guests to enjoy.

Watersports offered include a 15 foot tender with 75hp engine, water skis for adults and children, tube, wakeboard, kayak, fishing gear, snorkeling gear, and rendezvous diving.

Built by the famous Dynamique Yachts shipyard, and having undergone a total refit in 2018, S/Y Amadeus was designed to please the most demanding of yachtsmen. Built for smooth sailing, this elegant cutter rigged sloop has a sleek hull design, comfortably reaching top speeds of 12 knots and ensuring excellent sailing performance. S/Y Amadeus has just undergone this past winter (2018) a major refit such as total repaint top to bottom, new rigging (BSI Denmark), Novourania with new Evinrude 75hp outboard, Splash pool, new Bimini/Sprayhood/Awnings, new exterior fabrics and many other enhancements. In 2016 new “North Sails” were placed onboard. The yacht is maintained in excellent condition with a five-star crew year round. Her generous uncluttered teak deck offers plenty of space for sunbathing. The spacious and unique outdoor saloon has two tables seating upto 12 guests and is a perfect setting for outdoor dining and entertainment. Thanks to a special canopy and roll-up windows, the deck saloon has the added attraction that it can be fully enclosed, making it ideal for all weather conditions. Her forward area includes a splash pool and sun bathing area which can also be shaded with a removable awning. From the cockpit, a stairway leads to the light-filled spacious saloon offering ample seating, ideal for relaxing or enjoying a drink from the bar, and offers a formal dining area. This area also includes a LCD TV, entertainment center, ipod dock station, playstation, and is ideal for indoor activities. She can accommodate 10-12 guests in one full width master stateroom, two double bedded cabins each having one extra single bed and two twin bedded cabins which can be easily converted to double beds (upon request), thus, making her the only 5 double bedded sailboat in the Greek market. She also has a nice selection of toys which include water ski (adult and children), tubes, inflatable canoes, wakeboard, fishing rod and snorkeling gear.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht AMADEUS is a 110 ft sailboat. AMADEUS spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was delivered by the ship builder Dynamique Ya in 1996. A well-done refit was finalized in 2014/2018. The ingenious yacht layout features 5 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 12 guests.

Captain: Harry Fotopoulos

CAPTAIN - Harry Fotopoulos Captain Harry is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Captain Class A’ Diploma. He also holds a Canadian Commercial Pilot license class B, sailing and speedboat license. He has over 15 years of experience onboard many types of Charter Yachts. He holds Certificates in GMDSS, Fire Fighting & First Aid, Personal Safety, Life Saving, and Ship Security. He has a great knowledge of the Greek islands and will navigate guests to remarkable destinations. During his one season on board he showed great leadership skills and received positive feedback from all guests. He is calm yet very outgoing and speaks very good English. DECKHAND - Konstantinos Santas CHIEF STEWARDESS - Mirella Davint Mirella has 8+ years of experience as a stewardess onboard charter and private yachts. She has a very pleasant personality and she aims to accommodate her guests to the fullest. Comments received from previous guests are memorable. This will be Mirella’s eighth season onboard. Mirella speaks English and she is 38 years old. ENGINEER – Stelios Mandos Stelios holds an Engineer Class B’ Diploma from the Greek Merchant Marine Academy as well as a Sailor’s License. He has over 15 years of experience onboard Ocean-Going Vessels and Charter Yachts. His hobbies include spearfishing and sailing. He speaks good English. Stelios is 45 years old, married with two children. CHEF – George Bakas George is 56 years old and has worked as a chef for more than 20 years in numerous hotels restaurants, mega yachts and resorts throughout his career. George loves to entice his guests with his delicacies. He is experienced and handles his dishes with pride and looks forward to include his guests into his culinary world. He speaks excellent English and Greek. We are confident that he will serve his guests unforgettable flavors with a mediterranean touch! ASSISTANT STEWARDESS – Maria Spiliotis Maria is 25 years old and has been in the yachting industry since 2019. Her working experience includes 2 years as a housekeeper and assistant stewardess. Maria speaks good English. One of Maria's strongest attributes is her appetite for work. She is also very sociable, welcoming and looks forward to having guests on board S/Y Amadeus. DECKHAND - Nikos Panagos Nikos is hard working and has had over 7 years experience on various charter yachts. He holds a speedboat license and safety certificates. He is pleasant, outgoing and enjoys sailing. He speaks English and Greek.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Amadeus Riva Review

Austrian family-owned line Amadeus River Cruises, which caters to an international clientele of passengers from the U.S., Europe and other English-speaking countries, continues to expand with the introduction of the 158-passenger Amadeus Riva. The 10th vessel in the fleet enters service in 2023 and will provide flexible a-la-carte cruises with excursion and beverage package options.

Amadeus Riva is the second ship -- alongside sister vessel Amadeus Cara launched in 2022 -- to be constructed at the TeamCo shipyard in the Netherlands and this has resulted in some design tweaks.

Amadeus Riva Deck Plans Feature New-style Balconies and Interconnecting Cabins

Amadeus Riva's 67 river-facing staterooms and 12 suites are situated on three decks. The 16 cabins on the lowest Haydn Deck measure 172 square feet and are the only ones without windows that open or mini-bars. On a new feature on this ship, several of them can be configured as interconnecting cabins.

The majority of accommodations are the 188-square-feet staterooms on the middle Strauss Deck and upmost Mozart Deck. Most notably, they all have large walk-closets which are a rarity on river vessels and usually only found in suites. All of these cabins have drop-down panoramic windows -- which can be lowered across the entire width -- mini-bars, 'infotainment' TVs, Wi-Fi, a safe, quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion, and individual climate control. They can be set up with double or twin beds.

On the Mozart Deck are 12 suites that measure 284 square feet and have larger bathrooms, a living area with a sofa and a TV that can be swiveled to watch in bed or in the living section.  Additional perks for suite guests include robes and slippers. The main change to the suites from previous Amadeus vessels is that the walkout balcony is a triangular shape that tapers at one end. This provides more space in the cabin when the veranda is not being used. On sunny days the floor-to-ceiling windows retract to one side and the cabin becomes part of the balcony area. There is an outdoor chair on the balcony and the inside table and chair closest to the window can be used as additional furniture.

Another enhanced area on Amadeus Riva is Cafe Vienna, serving specialty coffees. It was turned into a larger standalone venue on Amadeus Cara and is replicated on this ship.

Situated on the upper deck is an airy main lounge with a bar, variety of seating options and table heights and panoramic windows. A resident musical duo play there in the evening and there is a dance floor. At night the forward section of the lounge is sometimes used for intimate "highlight menus" typically available to repeat passengers. Leading out from the lounge is the sheltered alfresco River Terrace with comfortable chairs and tables. The sun deck is fitted out with chairs, tables, loungers, a giant chess set and shuffleboard area. Meals are served in the one main restaurant situated on the middle deck and able to accommodate all passengers in one sitting. Breakfast is a mix of a buffet and made-to-order items and lunch and dinner are both served. A light lunch option is available in the lounge.

As Amadeus Riva carries fewer passengers than ships of the same size, there is room for extra amenities, including a fitness room and onboard hairdresser and massage therapist. The Amadeus Club, with its own bar and 24-hour tea and coffee station, is a quiet lounge at the back of the ship which can also be used for cocktail parties. Complimentary bicycles are available for passengers that want to explore destinations independently. There is an elevator serving the three passenger decks and other facilities include a laundry service and small shop.

The ship incorporates the latest technologies for energy management and sustainable travel, including an engine with reduced emissions and a new air filtration system.

Amadeus Riva Has an Innovative All-year Sun Deck

An issue with European river ships is that sun decks are sometimes closed off when water levels are high and vessels have to sail beneath bridges. This is disappointing when the weather and is fine and passengers want to sit out and enjoy the passing scenery.

Amadeus has overcome this with an inventive split-level sun deck. The front of the ship has been designed so the restaurant, overhead lounge and sun deck occupy a slightly lower position in the forward facing section of the vessel. This allows the front area of the sun deck to remain permanently open even if the back section, accessed by a few stairs has to be closed. It's a clever idea.

Amadeus Riva's maiden voyage will be the seven night Three River Cruise on the Rhine, Main and Main-Danube Canal departing May 12, 2023.

After the inaugural sailing, Amadeus Riva will sail on the seven-night Classical Danube itinerary from Passau to Budapest, or in reverse, with stops including Regensburg, Linz, Durnstein and Bratislava.
