Sunseeker have released new photos of their brand new flagship motor yacht, BLUSH, soon to be delivered to Formula One tycoon Eddie Jordan.

The brand new tri-deck 155 motor yacht , Blush, is Sunseeker ’s new flagship and is set to be delivered this spring. She spent 18 months in development and at 47.25m (155') spanning four decks she is the biggest and most advanced yacht ever to come from the shipyard. The perfect combination of luxury and exclusivity, she is the definitive charter yacht.

Her magnificent interior has an abundance of both elegance and space. Combining supreme indulgence, outstanding interiors and luxurious accommodation for up to 12 charter guests she carries an experienced crew of 11 who will take good care of you and your guests, ensuring the ultimate yacht charter experience for all on board.

Accommodation comes in the form of a full beam master suite with private balcony, two double staterooms on the main deck and two twin staterooms on the lower deck. Balconies on both the main and upper decks bring the outside in and she has comfortable dining for 12 on the upper deck.

Formula One mogul Eddie Jordan is reported to have spent £32million on charter yacht BLUSH which features its own nightclub, day room, beach club and panoramic viewing platform, giving guests the ultimate view of the Monaco Grand Prix .

This is the biggest project we have ever undertaken and since the announcement of its build it has been the talk of the industry - Stewart McIntyre, managing director at Sunseeker International.

BLUSH - charter yacht perfection

BLUSH is proving popular with discerning luxury charter clients eager to experience the multitude of "one off" features that have allowed Eddie Jordan to stamp his mark on it and create something truly unique.

As the largest and most advanced yacht ever conceived by the British based luxury yacht manufacturer, Sunseeker, the 47.25m (155ft) BLUSH came to fruition in February 2014, surrounded by immense hype and global interest.

BLUSH is a 'stand-out' with her stunning ice blue hull. The customised interior crafted by interior designer Sallyanne Holmes, features a subtle palette of grey, blue, green and aqua in a pleasant symphony of complementary textures. This is a 6-star, bespoke boutique charter yacht. Onboard there is spacious accommodation for 10 charter guests in five staterooms including a master suite, two VIP staterooms, two twin cabins. On the main deck the enormous, full-beam master suite has its own permanent balcony to starboard. The two main deck VIP staterooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows, while on the upper deck large French windows from the upper saloon lead to twin fold-down balconies.

The formal dining area has unique side patio doors and balconies for uninterrupted sea views whilst dining, and on deck, the expanse of entertainment space is truly impressive. The upper deck features a huge skylounge which has been designed for comfort, entertainment and optimal views, and at the same time – privacy for her guests. The sun deck features a large relaxation area complete with forward Jacuzzi, sunbeds, seating, and a bar and dining area under the radar arch. BLUSH offers timeless styling, exquisite furnishings and décor throughout her living areas to create an elegant and comfortable environment, ideal for socialising and entertaining whatever the occasion. Of course, being the latest and greatest, BLUSH features state-of-the-art at-anchor stabilizers and high-tech electronics onboard, including five 55" Airplay TVs with central wireless iPad control of entertainment, blinds, lighting, and remote cameras. Among her most spectacular features is the beach club with bar adjacent where charter guests can relax and soak up the sun, sip on champagne, and have easy access to the water. The tender garage is discretely tucked on the starboard so as not to impede the beach club. Among BLUSH'S arsenal for active charterers is a 6.2m Dieseljet RIB tender, two Seadoo jetskis, Seabob, paddleboards, wakeboards, waterskis, fishing and snorkelling gear, plus several tow toys. Superyachts have had bad press recently. Seven of the absurdly opulent vessels owned by Russians linked to president Vladimir Putin had been seized as of May, with critics calling them outrageous displays of excessive wealth.

But these floating villages – with their hot tubs, humidors and helipads – each employ a small army (or rather, navy) of staff, with dozens recruited as pilots, captains, sailors, chefs, bartenders, cleaners, entertainers, security officers and more.

The extravagant vessels are also a boon for Dorset, with world renowned manufacturers Sunseeker International based right here in Poole. Founded as Poole Powerboats in 1969 the business now employs around 2,600 people worldwide – many of them within the county.

Multi-million-pound Sunseeker ships have appeared in several James Bond movies including The World is Not Enough (1999), Die Another Day (2002), Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008) – in which co-founder Robert Braithwaite had a cameo role.

One of the firm’s largest and most luxurious ships, the Sunseeker 155, was owned by F1 racing tycoon Eddie Jordan until 2017. Named “Blush”, the monstrous vessel cost over £12 million and had a crew of ten, plus space for ten guests.

It is 155 feet long

While the rest of Europe has long since gone metric, the yachtbuilding industry still measures things in feet. The enormous Sunseeker 155 was so called because it measured a staggering 155 feet (or 45 metres) from bow to stern.

For comparison, this is about as long as the Arc de Triomphe is high, or half as tall as the Westminster clock tower housing Big Ben. you could alos think of it as around half the length of a football pitch – or two-and-a-half times the length of a cricket pitch, if you prefer.

Its amenities rival those of a high-end hotel

The Sunseeker 155’s onboard features include a nightclub and a parking garage for jet skis as well as opulent dining rooms, lounges, bars, viewing decks, jacuzzis, bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. The vessel can carry a reported 60,000 litres of fuel, giving it an estimate range of 4,000 miles, while its twin V16 engines can generate a top speed of over 22 knots (25mph).

It cost the F1 tycoon around £32 million

As the old adage goes, “If you have to ask what it costs, you can’t afford it”. The Sunseeker website does not list prices for its models – estimates are provided only on application, and these can vary wildly depending on the specifications required.

But Jordan paid a reported £32 million for his Sunseeker 155, and that was in 2014 money. If this price tag seems a little steep, never fear: if you’re willing to go a bit smaller and buy used, a 2012 Sunseeker can be had for just under £13 million .

The running costs are eyewatering

Jordan sold his Sunseeker 155, named Blush, in 2017. He told Boat International that his busy schedule meant he could only spend two weeks a year on it, and that he wanted something smaller for his grandchildren.

But it could also be that he was sick of forking out an estimated £1.2 million per year in running costs including fuel, dockage, maintenance, insurance and crew salaries. That said, he did rent it out as a charter vessel when not cruising the world on it.

The name Blush lives on

Although Jordan sold his Sunseeker 155, he still owns a boat called Blush. This is a 45-metre-long sailing yacht built in 2007 by Perini Navi, a luxury shipyard which has been based in Tuscany, Italy since 1983.

The motorsport mogul now plans to sail the fjords of Norway , the Suez canal and the Northwest Passage – the sea route between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans which claimed the lives of many an explorer seeking quicker routes to the Far East.

The current owners are unknown

Jordan told Boat International that he had sold his pride and joy to “a nice American family” who had previously chartered the vessel and liked it so much that they just had to own it.

Likewise, the owners of a second Sunseeker 155 christened Princess AVK, produced at Poole in 2016, have not been publicly disclosed. It is thought that they come from the United Arab Emirates – and although it looks like they might be selling on , too.

While some, like Jordan, are happy to tell everyone about their seafaring adventures aboard Dorset’s biggest and most expensive yacht, it seems that others prefer to cruise the world’s oceans in peace.

Eddie Jordan takes delivery of new superyacht tender customised to match Blush

Williams Jet Tenders has delivered a new 6.31 metre Dieseljet superyacht tender, custom designed to match Eddie Jordan’s 47 metre Sunseeker yacht Blush .

The Williams Dieseljet 625 was delivered to the Jordan Family Trust, which owns the Sunseeker 155 Yacht Blush .

One of the best British superyachts , Blush stands out for her on-trend blue hull colour . The team at Williams worked with closely with Sunseeker and Holmes Interiors to customise the new tender to match with the yacht's silver and ice blue fabrics and finishes.

As can be seen in the photos above, the seating in the new tender to Blush features a similar blue colour palette, and the helm is in a shiny silver.

Williams also worked to develop a single-point lift system for the Dieseljet for stowage in the garage of Blush .

Former Formula One team owner and current Boat International contributor, Eddie Jordan says, “I have always been impressed with the Williams tenders and am delighted with the Dieseljet 625 that has been created for Blush. It needed to be a reliable, dry riding and safe performance watersports workhorse, and the 625 completely fits the bill.”

This is the third yacht tender that Williams has delivered to the Jordan Family Trust.

As seen in the video above, the standard Williams Dieseljet 625 can seat up to 11 guests and can run at a top speed of 44mph.

Williams offers various sizes across three lines – Turbojet, Dieseljet and Sportjet – and according to the UK tender company, each Williams tender is hand-built. Williams builds one of the world’s fastest superyacht tenders with the small but mighty Williams Turbojet 445 S.
