Luxury Motor Yacht — Golden Boy II

Golden Boy II is a luxury motor yacht built by Sovereign in 1998.  Having undergone a massive refit in 2007, she is now available for charter in the Caribbean during the winter months and in New England during summer.  Golden Boy II has five double cabins so can comfortably accommodate ten guests on board.  The master cabin is king size, with the other four cabins being queen.

The main salon and dining area is beautifully decorated with rich cherry wood cabinets, light carpet and a built in sofa on the port side.  There is also a four-person game table and a 54-inch flat screen television on starboard side for excellent viewing.

The sky lounge has very comfortable seating and access to the day head.  The aft doors open out onto the upper aft deck where there is a large u-shaped al-fresco dining table.  There is also a sun awning which can provide shade over the Jacuzzi, the dining table or it may be tucked away all together.

Golden Boy II underwent an impressive refit in 2007 with a new paint top and bottom, new interior soft goods, upgraded audio visual system and the sun awning on the top deck.  She is looking absolutely stunning and ready to welcome you on board for the charter of a lifetime!

Master Stateroom : Forward on the main deck with large windows, full king berth, walk-in cedar closet, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Includes 50” Pioneer flat screen TV and DVD player.

VIP Stateroom : Mid-ship forward, queen berth, large cedar closet, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Includes a 20” Sony TV, VCR, Stereo and CD player.

Guest Staterooms : (3 & 4) Both mid-ship aft with queen berths, cedar closets and bathrooms with showers. Both have 20” Sony TV, VCR, Stereo and CD player. Guest Stateroom (5): Forward below with queen berth, cedar closet and bathroom with shower. Includes 20” Sony TV, VCR, Stereo and CD player.

Sovereign Yachts (Canada) Inc completed the building motor yacht GOLDEN BOY II in 1998. The yacht is built over in Canada. GOLDEN BOY II had her naval architecture and design created by Jack Sarin and Jack Sarin. This superyacht GOLDEN BOY II is able to accommodate the sum total of 10 aboard together with around 4 professional crew. Completed by 1998 her reasonably modern interior decoration reflects the realisations which are originating from Jonathan Quinn Barnett Ltd / Owner and the owner who commissioned the yacht.

Shipyard Work & Design with respect to Luxury Yacht GOLDEN BOY II

Jack Sarin was the naval architect involved in the technical nautical plans for GOLDEN BOY II. Also the company Jack Sarin expertly worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett Ltd / Owner was responsible for the creative interior styling. Canada is the country that Sovereign Yachts (Canada) completed their new build motor yacht in. After the formal launch in 1998 in Richmond Bc she was afterwards passed over to the happy owner having completed final finishing. A moderate area is manifested with a maximum beam (width) of 7.62 metres / 25 feet. With a 1.68m (5.5ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is fashioned with the use of composite.

Main Engines And The Crusie Speed The M/Y GOLDEN BOY II is Capable Of:

The 16V 2000 M90 engine installed in the motor yacht is made by MTU. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers. The engine of the ship produces 1800 horse power (or 1325 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The combined thrust for the yacht is accordingly 3600 HP or 2650 KW. As far as stabalisers are concerned she uses Naiad. The bow thrusters are Abt.
