The multi-award winning 95.1m/312' motor yacht 'AV' (ex. Palladium) was built by Blohm + Voss in Germany at their Hamburg shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Michael Leach and she was delivered to her owner in September 2010. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Michael Leach.

AV has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 suites comprising one VIP cabin. Additionally, there are 3 staff cabins aboard. She is also capable of carrying up to 34 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

AV is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 959 TE70L) 16-cylinder 4,600hp engines running at 1750rpm, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 19 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 480,000 litre fuel tanks at 16 knots. Her water tanks store around 102,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠ 100A1 SSC YACHT(P) MONO G6; EP, LI. ✠ LMC, UMS, PCAC(1.1) classification society rules, and is MCA LY2 Compliant.

It’s been more than a year since the UK government seized a stunning $50 million superyacht from a Russian businessman who is not on any sanctions list. Now the furious tycoon is suing the UK authorities to return his vessel, which has a penthouse suite and an infinity wine cellar.

While the EU countries have only impounded megayachts of sanctioned oligarchs. In a first, the United States has taken complete ownership of the $325 million superyacht Amadea which is now being sailed stateside under the US flag to be possibly auctioned or scrapped.

Tatiana Akhmedova, the Ex-wife of a Russian Oligarch has hired Ex-Special Forces soldiers, to storm and seize her husbands $320 million superyacht as he is refusing to pay her the $640 million divorce settlement.

V6 Yacht – Luxurious $16 Million Superyacht

The V6 yacht is a luxury superyacht measuring a length of 48.5 metres. Previously known as TYR yacht, the ownership changed when she was purchased in February 2020 and renamed V6.

The asking price at the time of her purchase was $16 million with James LLoyd of Edmiston representing the buyer. She was recently renovated and repainted in 2022.

With accommodation for 10 guests in 5 staterooms, as well as space for 12 crew members, V6 yacht offers optimal comfort.

Her luxurious interior was designed by Anthony Bedford which is currently the largest yacht he has been responsible for designing to date.

Specifications

The V6 yacht measures a length of 48.53 meters and has a beam of 9.7 meters as well as a 3.76 meter draft. Similar to yachts of the same size V6 has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.

V6 is powered by Diesel Wartsila engines giving her an engine power of 1470 horse power. This allows for a maximum speed of 16 knots with a comfortable cruising speed of 13.5 knots.

The V6 yacht has a range of 9000 nautical miles and the capacity to store 14,000 liters of water as well as 127,500 liters of fuel.

Recently repainted in 2022 the exterior hull was changed from a royal blue to white. V6 offers comfortable seating areas as well as an entertainment centre that has a large LED television screen as well as a surround sound system.

V6 also has her own dedicated helicopter landing pad at the stern of the vessel.

Klaus sent in some very interesting new superyacht images of the Blohm & Voss 96 metre (314.96ft) Orca (now called yacht Palladuim) superyacht in Germany.  The ORCA yacht not only has an inspired name (named after the king of the sea the killer whale) but she has inspired yacht design by Michael Leach Design , in the Orca theme, with black and white markings and curved organic forms. A modern, powerful, innovative and futuristic superyacht, Palladuim is set to create quite a stir in luxury yachting circles and inspire media interest worldwide.

One of the most important private luxury yachts now launched the 2010, motor yacht Palladuim is another testament to the yacht building abilities of the German builder Blohm & Voss Yachts . M/Y Orca is certainly a custom yacht in every respect with her unique and original design and innovation. In this new build project Blohm & Voss were able to make even the most complex and interesting design mandate come to life in this beautiful superyacht.

There are many adjectives that come to mind when looking at the early photos of yacht Palladuim– carnal, organic, curvaceous, sensual, powerful, evolutionary, majestic, and unique come to mind – but all in all she looks like something that is from and of the ocean. Surely this should be the highest accolade for superyacht builders and designers alike.

Luxury yacht Palladuim’s almost sensual superstructure is very easy on the eye, but also it looks immediately different in setting itself apart from the other superyachts built to date. True, the styling reflects the mighty orca whale – and what a form in nature to mirror – but there are further structural as well as design differences because it is created from an advanced building system comprising a blend of steel, alloy and composites, as completed with innovative strengthened dark glazing.

The use of composites and glass in superyachts is in its infancy but many designers have taken up new materials and technologies and perhaps such techniques are a thing of the future now that Orca has lead the way.

Full details are yet to surface and there are no images of the Michael Leach interior as yet public. Yacht Orca is believed to feature interiors created by Silverlining and Metrica and has 8 guest cabins (some of them being full suites) thus accommodating 16 guests, a 16 m (52.49ft) beam.

“In this boat that will be delivered in 2010, the exterior form is reflected and sustained throughout the internal spaces. Michael Leach Design showed their fascination with organic design, taking inspiration from nature to create a fluid form and a strong, complex and dynamic structural design. Silverlining is working on 68 pieces of furniture, including 5m long bars and a 6m long dining table, which appears to be growing out of the floor. Achieving this effect posed special challenges for Silverlining: it had to build the large tabletop and support structure as single pieces. In addition it had to ensure perfect installation to the deck. The size of the table called for a lightweight and strong structure, and so Silverlining brought in composite material consultants from the Formula 1 industry to work with its in-house structural and audio-visual engineers to develop a solution.”

Powered by twin MTU 595 TE 70l Diesel engines, superyacht Orca can reach around 19 knots at top speed and can make 6000nm at her cruising speed of 14 knots. Yacht Palladuim will also accommodate two Cougar Marine custom yacht tenders on her sports garage space.
