We understand plans can change, and we're here to support you. Here's what you need to know about our cancellation policies for our yacht charters:

Daily Yacht Charters

• For standard group bookings, that is, up to 8 guests on our luxury sports yachts or power catamarans, and up to 10 guests on our larger luxury motor yachts, we can offer a full refund if you notify us more than 5 business days (excluding weekends and TCI public holidays) ahead of your scheduled trip. If the cancellation is within 5 business days, the logistics for your charter are already underway and will need to charge the full cost of the charter.
• For bigger parties and corporate groups that exceed the standard daily guest capacity, we ask for at least a 30-day notice for cancellations. If it's less than that, the full cost of the yacht charter will have to be charged. Let us know more than 30 days in advance and you'll receive a full refund.
• Concerned about the weather? If poor sea conditions make it unsafe to set sail, we'll aim to reschedule. If that's not possible, you'll receive a full refund. The final decision will be made by our Captain or company management.
• For bespoke large group charters and executive groups, we might need to adjust the cancellation policy a bit at the time of booking. But we promise to clearly communicate any changes to you.

Extended Term, Multi-Day Charters

• For multi-day charters, cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will receive a full refund. If you need to cancel within 30 days of the trip, we'll need to charge the full cost of the excursion.
• Just like our daily charters, if poor weather conditions make cruising unsafe, we'll aim to reschedule. If that's not possible, you'll get a full refund. We'll also assist in relocating you to one of our associated hotels or resorts (please note, hotel or resort reservation fees are not included) .

Cruising Offshore from Providenciales to North West Point (25 to 30 minutes). Here you will have great chances to see Wild Dolphins, or Whales during the winter time. Discover West Caicos

West Caicos is the Most Western located island of the Turks & Caicos Islands. It is a fairly large island about 6 sq/miles.  Enjoy great Snorkeling along the Iron shore and surrounding reefs. There is a special place where we can do some cliff jumping (“Not too difficult”), as well as explore some old carvings from ship wrecked sailors. There are a lot of points of interest along the iron shore such as small caves and spectacular “Blue lagoon” type coves, including our Secret Cove!

Discover French Cay

– Full Day Charter – (Available only on Lady K)

French Cay is a Bird and Iguana Sanctuary located 17 miles South of Leeward Marina. This small Cay was used in the 17th century by a French Pirate “Francis Lollonois” to ambush Merchant or Spanish ships. We will tell you some History of the Real Pirates of The Caribbean. French Cay is a Beautiful Pristine and remote Cay that is now a Bird and Rock Iguana sanctuary. French Cay offers spectacular snorkeling in crystal clear blue water, with large formations of Elkhorn Corals and a great chance to swim with Eagle Rays. As it is a Nature reserve we are only allowed to walk along the beach, and we will take our Lunch aboard Lady K. A Real Fantastic destination!

Turks and Caicos Yachting Season

Turks and Caicos have pleasant weather year-round with less precipitation than other Caribbean islands and an average of 350 days of sunshine per year.

Sunny, even temperatures make the islands a year-round destination for boat rentals. However, you should be aware that hurricane season lasts from June to November and most yachts leave the area during that time.

Turks and Caicos Yacht Charter Itinerary

DAY 1: Providenciales

Known as the gateway to the Caicos Islands there is no surprise that Providenciales (or Provo), is the starting point for yacht rentals in Turks and Caicos. Provo is full of luxurious amenities including a golf course, casino, shopping centers, and excellent restaurants. This island has some of the very best snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean so for those who like to explore the world beneath the water, it is a must-see.

DAY 2: South Caicos

Head to South Caicos, cruising around the north of the islands where the water is deeper. This is the longest passage on your yacht charter itinerary, taking you past many islands and cays with beautiful beaches. Spend the night on the southern end of the island, between South Caicos and Long Cay.

South Caicos offers great snorkeling and if you rent a private yacht during whale migration (January to April), this is a great spot to watch these magnificent creatures.  In the evening, enjoy a beach BBQ.

DAY 3: Grand Turk

Grand Turk is the capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands and home to the only lighthouse in the country. One of Grand Turk’s main attractions is diving. There is an outstanding protected coral reef, which drops to 8,000 feet and is close enough to shore for beach dives.

Spend some leisurely time strolling the streets, visiting the National Museum , and enjoying the colonial spirit of this outpost where time seems to have almost stood still. During whale migrating season (January through April), you can watch the humpback whales. Take a short tender ride (1 mile or so) to Gibbs Cay where you can swim with the friendly stingrays right from the beach.

DAY 4: Salt Island

Salt Cay is the smallest and least populated island in the Turks and Caicos Islands. There are no paved roads and very few cars. You will see donkeys roaming freely all over the island – they were once used for pulling carts.

Visit the ruins at Taylor’s Hill and discover one of the most breathtaking views on the island. This is an ideal spot for whale watching during January and April when migrating humpback whales populate the azure waters of Salt Cay.

Divers can dive 17th-century British warship.

DAY 5: Big Sand Cay

The next recommended destination stop on your crewed yacht charter in Turks and Caicos is the uninhabited island of Big Sand Cay. This small island is a designated bird sanctuary and also great for snorkeling.

Take a hike on this small Island to explore and then relax on some of the best beaches on the Islands.

DAY 6: French Cay

French Cay boasts some of the most amazing coral and marine life in the Turks and Caicos which makes it an absolute dream for scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts.

Molasses Reef is home to what is believed to be one of the oldest shipwrecks discovered in the New World. The island is also a sanctuary for migratory birds.

DAY 7: West Caicos

Set course for West Caicos where there are many excellent dive sites off the west coast, as well as several moorings. Dive the wall, which drops off some 7000 feet, where large sea life is often seen. The topside depth range is between 40 to 90 feet, allowing diving for a wide range of divers from beginners to experts.

DAY 8: Providenciales

It’s the last day of your private boat charter and a short morning cruise will put you back to the south shore of Provo to get in those last few hours of playing with all the toys. If you have time before your flight back home, stroll the streets of Providenciales and do souvenir shopping of local arts and crafts.

British technology tycoon Mike Lynch and his teenage daughter are missing after a “tornado” sunk his superyacht off the coast of Sicily.

Mr Lynch and his daughter, Hannah, 18, are among six people still missing after the sailboat, named Bayesian, sank in the early hours of Monday with 22 people on board.

The 56-metre yacht had a crew of ten people and 12 guests, representing British, American and Canadian nationalities, the Italian coast guard said.

Mr Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, was one of the 15 people rescued, as eight survivors were taken to hospital, including a o ne-year-old baby . One body has been found while four Britons and a child are reportedly still among the missing.

Some guests on board are believed to have been Mr Lynch’s lawyers, who were invited to celebrate his recent legal victory which cleared him of fraud accusations, The Telegraph reported.

Divers have identified a wreckage 50m below the water’s surface and prosecutors in the nearby town of Termini Imerese have opened an investigation into the incident.

The search operation continued overnight to find the six people missing after a luxury yacht capsized off the Italian island of Sicily in the early hours of Monday morning.

The coast guard said divers were inspecting the wreck of the Bayesian, which was lying at a depth of 49 metres.

After the accident, a Dutch-flagged vessel near the yacht rescued survivors from the waves, tending to them until emergency services arrived.

The Italian fire brigade reported that its divers had reached the yacht’s hull. Additionally, the brigade deployed helicopters to support the search operation.

British survivor says she held her one-year-old daughter to stay afloat

One of the survivors, British tourist Charlotte Golunski, told la Repubblica she held her one-year-old daughter, Sofia, to stop her from drowning as the yacht capsized.

She, her daughter and her husband were among the 15 people who had been rescued from the luxury yacht Bayesian early on Monday.

“For two seconds I lost my daughter in the sea then quickly hugged her amid the fury of the waves,” she told the paper.

She said: “I held her afloat with all my strength, my arms stretched upwards to keep her from drowning.

“It was all dark. In the water I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I screamed for help but all I could hear around me was the screams of others.”

“Luckily the lifeboat inflated and 11 of us managed to get on board.”

Charlotte and Sofia are being treated in hospital, as is Sofia’s father.

Where did the yacht sink?

The luxury yacht sunk off the coast of Palermo, Sicily.

The 56-metre long sailboat sank with 22 people on board shortly before sunrise, the Italian coast guard said in a statement.

“The wind was very strong. Bad weather was expected, but not of this magnitude,” a coast guard official in Palermo told Reuters.

Storms and heavy rainfall have swept down Italy in recent days - with floods and landslides causing major damage in the north of the country - after weeks of scorching heat.

The boat left the Sicilian port of Milazzo on 14 August and was last tracked east of Palermo on Sunday evening, with a navigation status of “at anchor”, according to vessel tracking app Vesselfinder.

Global warming may be factor in deadly Italian shipwreck

Global warming may have contributed to the freak storm that sank a luxury British-flagged yacht off the coast of Sicily, a climatologist has said.

Luca Mercalli, president of the Italian meteorological society, said the episode could have been a water spout, essentially a tornado over water, or else a downburst, a more frequent phenomenon that doesn’t involve the rotation of the air.

“We don’t know which it was because it all happened in the dark in the early hours of the morning, so we have no photographs,” he told news agency Reuters .

In Italy water spouts can involve winds of up to 200 kilometres (124 miles) per hour, while downbursts can produce gusts of around 150 km per hour.

Statistics show that downbursts are becoming more frequent around the country, which Mercalli said may be connected to global warming.

Storms and heavy rainfall have swept down Italy in recent days after weeks of scorching heat.

“The sea surface temperature around Sicily was around 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit), which is almost 3 degrees more than normal. This creates an enormous source of energy that contributes to these storms,” Mercalli said.

“So we can’t say that this is all due to climate change, but we can say that it has an amplifying effect.”

Yacht guests were ‘Lynch’s lawyers celebrating his acquittal’

Some guests on board Mike Lynch’s yacht as it sunk were reportedly his from his legal team - invited there to celebrate the tech tycoon’s recent acquittal.

The 59-year-old’s superyacht sank off the coast of Sicily in the early hours of Monday morning with 22 people - ten crew members and 12 guests - on board.

Mike and his daughter, Hannah, 18, are amongst the six people still missing as one person has been confirmed dead and 15 were rescued.

According to the Telegraph, Mr Lynch had invited his legal team from Clifford Chance to celebrate his legal victory, in which he was cleared of all charges of fraud after being accused of inflating the value of his company after selling it to US tech giant Hewlett-Packard (HP).

The father of one of the survivors of the tragedy said she was a Clifford Chance lawyer who said that the trip had been a celebration.

He told the paper: “I have texted with my daughter and she hasn’t given me any updates about missing personnel or saved personnel. She has only said to me that there are deaths, and she and her partner are alive.”

Canadian foreign office in contact with Italian authorities

Canada’s foreign ministry has confirmed it is in contact with local authorities in Sicily amid reports Canadians were onboard the Bayesian when it sunk.

A spokesperson told the BBC they are “aware of reports that a Canadian citizen has died”.

Italian authorities have not formally confirmed the nationality of the one person whose body has been recovered.
