Jerry Jones Yacht: Everything You Need To Know

Ian Fortey

Back in 2019, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones purchased a 357 foot yacht from Dutch firm Oceanco. Jones made news with the yacht when he made the NFL draft picks for the Cowboys on board the vessel back in 2020.  Named the Bravo Eugenia in honor of his wife Eugenia Jones, the vessel and its owner take a much different approach to boating than most owners of massive luxury yachts insofar as Jones is more than happy to show off his vessel all around the world. Since its launch it’s been spotted in London, Seattle, Miami and more places.

What Does Jerry Jones’ Yacht Interior Look Like?

jerry jones yacht nfl draft

Give Jones credit for having a draft room on his yacht, something probably no one else in the world has thought of before. It was from here that Jones did the 2020 NFL draft and it’s essentially just a room with a wrap around leather sofa with a wall monitor behind it.

Some of the other features that have been seen or at least recorded on Jones’ yacht including the following:

  • To helipads for bringing in guests by helicopter
  • Seven cabins capable of accommodating 14 guests for overnight stays
  • Four decks worth of space
  • 30 crew members and quarters to house them
  • A complete gym for guest workouts
  • A swimming pool/plunge pool
  • A sauna and a steam room
  • A massage room
  • A rain shower
  • A beach club
  • A Teppenyaki bar
  • A large tender garage for various water toys like jet skis, tubes and the like
  • Features and accents are made from both maple and walnut wood with ebony and pearl as well.
  • Steel hull with an aluminum superstructure

Much of the interior of the yacht was designed alongside Jones and Jones wife Gene to allow them to use their own styling touches to make it unique. Word is that there are a lot of Swarovski crystal accents through the vessel among other fine art pieces and luxury touches to make it what the couple wanted. Jones’ wife has stated that the family enjoys cruise vacations and they had a history of chartering other boats for long trips so the Bravo Eugenia was designed to be the ultimate family vacation vessel for the Jones clan.

That said, it seems clear that Jones also enjoys entertaining on the vessel as well, and obviously he is hapy to do his work with the Dallas Cowboys on board when the opportunity presents itself as well.

The Features of Jerry Jones’ Yacht

jerry jones yacht nfl draft

Part of the design of the yacht includes what’s known as Oceanco’s LIFE design. Jones wanted to have an environmentally friendly and green yacht, so the company obliged. LIFE stands for Lengthened waterline, Innovative layout, Fuel-efficient hull design, and Eco-conscious technology. The waterline ensures a fast displacement and reduces the fuel demands on the two, 2,920 hp total engines. Unlike similar designs, the engine room is single tier instead of two.

There is a system to recover heat and energy as well as an integrated battery system that are able to reduce overall fuel usage by around 30%. It also has a whisper mode for when it is coming in and out of port to be less intrusive to those around it. Even under normal power out at sea the noise and vibrations are reduced significantly by the unique build.

How Much Did Jerry Jones Yacht, the Bravo Eugenia, Cost?

jerry jones yacht nfl draft

According to media reports, the yacht set Jones back a cool $250 million. There are some reports that say it may have cost slightly less, around $225 million, but when you’re worth $10 billion like Jones the distinction may not mean a lot. The confirmed price tag is not something that’s been made available but most reports lean towards the higher amount. The annual running costs are estimated to be somewhere around $15 to $20 million. Since this is a motor yacht and not a sailing yacht, the bulk of those costs are going to be fuel related.

How Fast is Jerry Jones’ Yacht?

jerry jones yacht nfl draft

Although it’s not 100% definitive, it’s believed that the Bravo Eugenia has a top speed of around 18 knots. Cruising speed is about 14 knots, however. Definitely not a speed demon of a boat. With the MTU engines that power it, this gives the vessel a range around 4,500 nautical miles.

The Bottom Line

jerry jones yacht nfl draft

Jerry Jones’s yacht is known as the Bravo Eugenia. The team owner spent an estimated $225 million to $250 million and there’s a yearly upkeep cost of about $15 million to $20 million. The vessel uses a unique green design that makes it more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly. Its top speed is around 18 knots which it achieves thanks to a pair of MTU engines that provide 2,920 total horsepower. The yacht features a number of luxurious amenities, some of which are fairly unique, and can handle 14 guests at a time plus a crew of 30.

We are docked beside this beautiful yacht right now in St. Maarten. I took a picture of it to send to friends. We are on the Celebrity ship the Silhouette. Sure would have loved to have a peek inside such a beautiful vessel. Enjoy! God bless.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appeared to spend the 2020 NFL draft in a comfortable spot: his $250 million super-yacht.

ESPN's Don Van Natta tweeted that the feed from Jones' location was the "Bravo Eugenia," the 357-foot "super-yacht" he bought in 2019.

The Cowboys made a splashy selection in the first round on Thursday, taking Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to form a dynamic receiving group with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup, plus Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. It was a good night for Jones.

Where Is Jerry Jones’ Yacht? Vessel Has Swarovski-Studded Furniture

Jerry Jones’ yacht has captured attention worldwide. Read more about the Dallas Cowboys owner’s $250-million yacht and where he houses it.

Dan Clarendon - Author

Feb. 17 2023, Updated 12:58 p.m. ET

How much does it cost to run the Bravo Eugenia annually?

What exciting features does jerry jones' yacht have, is jones' yacht equipped with a helicopter pad, where does jerry jones house 'bravo eugenia'.

Forget the athletes. The real star of the 2020 NFL Draft was Jerry Jones’ yacht , the $250-million Bravo Eugenia . The Dallas Cowboys owner left football fans in awe after they learned he had monitored the draft from a room aboard his 357-foot-long yacht .

At the time, ESPN reporter Don Van Natta Jr. called it a "super-flex," though it's still brought up when discussing billionaires' lifestyles and the lavish purchases they make.

Jones' yacht, constructed by Dutch superyacht builder Oceanco, has since made a splash in media after it dropped anchor outside Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle, Wash. The yacht — named after Jerry’s wife, Gene — has also been spotted docked in Miami and cruising up the Thames River in London, England.

Keep reading for details on the features Jones' boat is equipped with and where he houses it.

On its website , Oceanco says that the Bravo Eugenia is its first LIFE Design yacht. LIFE Design is an approach that “synergizes the elegance and performance of Oceanco’s vessels with a carefully considered approach to their environmental impact,” according to SuperyachtNews .

The Bravo Eugenia has “best-in-class hydrodynamic efficiency, advanced hybrid propulsion, and 100 [square meters] of extra guest space at the waterline level,” according to Oceanco.

The vessel’s other sustainability features includes integrated battery systems, waste heat recovery, and a 30 percent increase in fuel efficiency. For these advancements, the boat received the Yacht Club de Monaco’s first Belle Class Explorer Award for Technology and Innovation.

SuperYachtFan estimates that it costs between $15 million and $20 million to run annually.

With exterior styling by Nuvolari Lenard, the vessel’s proportions evoke a sport yacht more than a superyacht. “This new style will certainly create a new design stream,” said Carlo Nuvolari, a partner at Nuvolari Lenard, according to Forbes .

Reymond Langston handled the yacht's interior design. “We worked very closely with the owner to find the perfect artisans and craftsmen in creating bespoke artworks, fabrics, and signature furniture pieces that reflect the owner’s style and essence and combine to create a warm, inviting environment for all on board,” explained Pascale Reymond, a partner at Reymond Langton Design.

The boat is 357 feet long, with a 53-foot beam. It offers a range of amenities, including two helicopter pads, a tender garage for watercraft, a gym, a beach club, and a spa that features a plunge pool, a rain shower, a sauna, a steam room, and a massage room.

It's also reportedly equipped with Swarovski crystal-studded furniture.

The 79-year-old also owns an ACH145 helicopter, according to Robb Report . Jones told the magazine that he originally got the 10-passenger helicopter for transportation, but it has been a boon to the Cowboys brand, too.

“It lends an aura to the Cowboys, whether we’re circling the stadium and landing in the parking lot on game day or carrying business associates and sponsors,” he explained. “It gets [fans’] attention and keeps them thinking about us. I’m being facetious, but I’m also half-serious here. I’d like to take it and land it on every road in Texas. Or maybe have five, landing in every community across the U.S. It’s a real attention magnet.”

When Jones isn't out enjoying life on the water aboard his superyacht Bravo Eugenia , it's likely docked at Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle. The Cowboys owner might also rely on other docks to house his yacht depending on where he is.

So just where was Cowboys owner Jerry Jones during the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night?

It sure didn’t look like his living room in Highland Park.

Jones was seen sitting on a sofa with his daughter, Charlotte, with his grandson, Shy, nearby during video conference calls with team officials, media members and first-round pick CeeDee Lamb.

Club officials are prohibited from working at team facilities while most NFL cities are under stay-at-home orders during the coronavirus pandemic.

So was Jerry at home? Was he at a downtown Dallas hotel? Was he on his $250 million super yacht, the Bravo Eugenia?

Jones wouldn’t reveal his location when asked during a post-draft news conference late Thursday night, but pictures shared on social media by ESPN reporter Don Van Natta Jr., who’s written several stories about Jones over the years, seemed to pinpoint Jones’ location. The furniture and wall decor in a picture of the interior of the yacht matched what was seen Thursday night.

Jerry Jones’ draft room is on his $250 million super-yacht. Now that’s a super-flex. pic.twitter.com/ZJwgrUcehX — Don Van Natta Jr. (@DVNJr) April 24, 2020

“I’ll tell you where I wasn’t and that’s what counts,” Jones said. “The place that you could get fined and lose draft picks if you were anywhere near our complex and all of that. You had to be in your room someplace else away from there and that’s where I was. During the preparation for this draft, the last two or three weeks, I have been in two or three different locations and probably will be in as many as two different locations but in my draft room during this draft.”

So does that mean the yacht was moving around the country?

Cowboys officials sat in front of numerous screens and telephones as part of the new virtual world of the NFL draft. All of the scouts, coaches and front office personnel had to connect virtually when speaking about any particular player.

It seemed Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy was handling his business from his apartment and executive vice president Stephen Jones was in his house. Will McClay, vice president of player personnel, was home, too.

“Our biggest thing we did from Day 1 with the leadership of Jerry, Will [and] Mike, we embraced it. We never blinked,” Stephen Jones said of the virtual calls. “We knew this was probably going to be the path that was going to take place and we didn’t resist. We said, ‘Hey this is how this is going to work.’ We got an outstanding technological staff that’s really made this thing go off almost seamless for us."

Jerry Jones drafted CeeDee Lamb to Cowboys from his $250 million yacht

Jones made a splash.

The virtual 2020 NFL Draft was certainly a new experience for everyone due to the coronavirus pandemic. Head coaches and general managers all had to let cameras into their homes to show off their war rooms. But home is a relative term when it comes to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

He actually made the Cowboys' first round pick from on board his $250 million yacht .

Jerry Jones’ draft room is on his $250 million super-yacht. Now that’s a super-flex. pic.twitter.com/ZJwgrUcehX — Don Van Natta Jr. (@DVNJr) April 24, 2020

Jones took this chance to show everyone just how deep his pockets are. There was no confirmation, but it's likely that Jones' yacht was docked when he made his first round selection of Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb .

The 2020 class of wide receivers is a very deep one, but few expected Lamb to fall into Dallas' lap. After Henry Ruggs III went to the Las Vegas Raiders and Jerry Jeudy was selected by the Denver Broncos , Lamb was there for the taking and Jones couldn't resist selecting another weapon for quarterback Dak Prescott .

Jones being able to select an electrifying playmaker like Lamb while on board a $250 million vessel was easily the biggest flex of the night.

Jerry Jones makes Cowboys draft pick from his mega yacht, Bravo Eugenia

The first round of the 2020 NFL Draft was held Thursday night, and while the COVID-19 pandemic caused teams to make their picks with coaches and owners in their home offices and war rooms, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made his pick while aboard his $250 million mega yacht, the Bravo Eugenia.

Ahead of the virtual draft, many teams and coaches shared where they would be making their picks, but it's safe to say Jones had the most luxurious draft location.

It's not known where the yacht was located Thursday night.

Jones was joined by some family members, but was seperated from his son, CEO Stephen Jones. They, along with new head coach Mike McCarthy, assistant coaches, all of the team’s scouts and medical advisors, were reportedly in different locations.

The Cowboys had the 17th pick, and took University of Oklahoma wide reciever CeeDee Lamb.

The final three rounds of the draft happen on Saturday, but it's not known if Jones will still be on his yacht to make those picks.

The yacht is a little more than one year old, as Jones bought it for a reported $250 million just before Christmas in 2018.

The length of the yacht is nearly as long as a football field and includes: two helipads, a sauna, steam room, swimming pool, and a gym.

Jerry Jones conducting 2020 NFL Draft from $250M super-yacht Bravo Eugenia: Report

Jones has owned the super-yacht since late 2018..

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones appears to have set up his war room for this week’s 2020 NFL Draft aboard his $250 million super-yacht, the Bravo Eugenia.

Jones’ setup drew immediate interest from NFL Draft viewers when he appeared on live stream for the fully virtual event on Thursday night. Closer inspection revealed that Jones was conducting draft activities from the Bravo Eugenia, according to ESPN investigative reporter Dom Van Natta Jr., who shared a matching photo of the yacht’s interior.

The billionaire Cowboys owner was in a celebratory mood after Dallas landed Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb with the 17th pick in the first round. Jones was coy when asked directly about his whereabouts on draft night.

“I’ll tell you where I wasn’t and that’s what counts,” Jones told the Dallas Morning News . “The place that you could get fined and lose draft picks if you were anywhere near our complex and all of that. You had to be in your room someplace else away from there and that’s where I was. Jerry Jones’ Yacht-Worthy NFL Draft Setup Creates Mystique, But Stealing CeeDee Lamb Wins the NFL Draft

Nfl's first virtual draft is a double triumph for jerry world with houston playmaker coming aboard.

Jerry Jones' NFL Draft setup brought plenty of TV and Twitter attention.

A merica needed entertainment — and Jerry Jones came through big time. Sports’ ultimate showman stole the show at the 2020 NFL Draft, the first actual live sports event in six weeks. From his yacht-worthy war room setup to somehow stealing one of the top two receivers in the entire draft with the 17th overall pick, the Dallas Cowboys’ patriarch loomed large on this night.

Then again, when does Jerry Jones not loom — and live — large?

With the NFL Draft going virtual for the first time due to the coronavirus, Jones and America’s Team only built the brand with a little mystique and aura. Jones appeared to be drafting from his $250 million superyacht , the Bravo Eugenia. He also may be one of the last men in America still using a corded phone.

Both Jones’ draft day lair — which included a cream-colored couch that would have been at home in any super villain’s secret headquarters and that old school phone —amused and delighted Twitter to no end. (Did you really think Jerry Jones would be drafting at a kitchen table?) But being wise enough to nab Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb when he inexplicably fell to No. 17 figures to resonate much longer with Cowboys lovers and haters alike.

This former Houston area high school star is arguably the second most coveted wideout in a receiver heavy draft, behind only Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy , who went to the Denver Broncos with the 15th pick. Jones told reporters after the draft that Lamb was the sixth rated player on the Cowboys’ entire draft board.

Jerry’s Coup

In all the mock drafts the Cowboys braintrust conducted in preparation for this night, CeeDee Lamb never came close to falling to them at No. 17. Certain they’d never have a chance to draft this big play creating wideout, the Cowboys did not even do a pre-draft virtual interview with Lamb.

Set your Easter Table with Bering's

Bering's Gift's Easter 2024

Yet, there Lamb was at 17. Just waiting for the Cowboys to be bold, shun their more obvious defensive needs and take the best player available.

“I need some mouth-to-mouth quick,” Jones cracked on Cowboys Draft Live about his reaction to having a chance to pick Lamb.

CeeDee Lamb Cowboys

It’s easy to see why the Cowboys assumed Lamb would be long gone by selection No. 17.  NFL Draft maven Mel Kiper went as far as comparing Lamb to DeAndre Hopkins , the former Houston Texans superstar wideout. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound Lamb is a physical receiver who is a big play waiting to happen.

In three seasons at Oklahoma, Lamb racked up 24 catches of 40-plus yards.

Now, he gives Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott another weapon to turn to, joining receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup — and tailback Ezekiel Elliott — in what should be one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses next season.

Are you not entertained?

Jones always makes sure the world’s most valuable sports franchise takes its rightful space in the spotlight. This first virtual NFL Draft is no different. Sitting with his daughter Charlotte Jones Anderson, the Cowboys executive vice president and chief brand officer, and son Stephen Jones, the Cowboys director of player personnel, in that yacht-worthy setup, Jones made sure the Cowboys took the bold route.

This time it also leaps out as the right route. You cannot pass up a talent like CeeDee Lamb when he falls onto your draft couch. Jones told reporters that three different trade possibilities presented themselves to the Cowboys for pick No. 17, but they did not like any of them as much as they liked Lamb.

Sometimes it’s good to stand pat. It’s always good to be Jerry Jones.

Jerry Jones conducted NFL Draft from his $250 million yacht

Jerry Jones

Coaches and executives took part in the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday night from a wide variety of locations, and we’ll give you one guess as to whose was the most lavish.

While Roger Goodell was announcing draft picks from his basement and other team personnel were sorting through information in their respective home offices, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was working from his private yacht. Jones purchased the vessel for $250 million a little over a year ago.

Jerry Jones’ draft room is on his $250 million super-yacht. Now that’s a super-flex. pic.twitter.com/ZJwgrUcehX — Don Van Natta Jr. (@DVNJr) April 24, 2020

According to a report from TMZ , Jones had the boat built in the Netherlands and named it the “Bravo Eugenia,” which is a tribute to his wife of nearly 50 years. The yacht, which can hold 14 guests and 30 crew members, has two helipads, a gym, a plunge pool and much, much more.

We thought Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury had an unbelievable setup for the draft , but Jones takes the cake. At least he wasn’t land-locked like some peasant.

A Stripped-Down N.F.L. Draft Turns Out to Be Pretty Special

Cut off from its usual pomp, the draft gave viewers some memorable snapshots: a general manager’s children, a coach’s sublime landscape and some curious decorations, like a team-branded surfboard.

jerry jones yacht nfl draft

By Tyler Kepner

At the start of a most unusual N.F.L. draft on Thursday, Commissioner Roger Goodell looked like an amateur actor trying to pull off a “Saturday Night Live” monologue on a wood-paneled set from “ Kiner’s Korner .” Gone were the joyous players and jeering fans who usually surround him at the draft.

“My body won’t miss those great big bear hugs, but I sure will,” Goodell said, before engaging — remotely — with some revved-up fans arrayed in squares on his flat-screen TV. “Wow, even the virtual boos are good. Yes, I can hear you from my basement , so keep it coming.”

Of course, this was not a comedy show on NBC or a postgame interview from a long-ago Mets telecast. This was supposed to be the N.F.L. at its most lavish and self-important, with a Las Vegas spectacle featuring the fountains of the Bellagio Hotel and draftees taking boats to meet Goodell on a red carpet. The coronavirus pandemic changed all that.

Goodell announced at one point that Las Vegas, the league’s newest market, would get another shot in “2020,” a confusing revelation, considering the calendar. Goodell meant that Vegas would host the draft in 2022 , after Cleveland’s turn next year. But for a production with so much potential for glitches — requiring extraordinary coordination of uplinks to players, families, executives, coaches and analysts — there were relatively few missteps.

Naturally, ESPN improvised quite a bit, using its campus in Bristol, Conn., as a backdrop for oversize logo graphics and colorful lights. The elevated breezeway connecting the network’s radio and TV wings never looked so enchanting.

Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the presidential adviser on infectious diseases, gave a short, taped speech before the drafting began, assuring fans that this stripped-down event was a medical necessity. Goodell said at the end that millions had been raised during the show for Covid-19 relief. In that way and others, this version of the draft was a lot more interesting than the traditional pomp.

The players, of course, would love to have been feted on their way into the league. But hanging out at home with their loved ones, as cameras beamed their reactions to the world, still seemed pretty special.

For the viewers, it would have been fun to see a live audience’s reactions to the picks — loyalists of the Philadelphia Eagles would have howled when the hated Dallas Cowboys took a coveted wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb — but obviously that is impossible now. Just watching the show in our homes was a welcome distraction, one of the few live sporting events in the United States since mid-March.

ESPN was ready with human-interest sidebars — a childhood photograph of Chase Young in the uniform of the Washington Redskins, who picked him second over all; a remarkable clip of Tristan Wirfs, taken 13th by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as he jumped out of a pool in a single motion, without help from his arms, and landed on his feet; and footage of Austin Jackson, who went 18th to the Miami Dolphins, at a hospital on his way to donate bone marrow to his sister, Autumn.

But the best part for viewers, by far, was having a window into the homes of not just Goodell, but many other well-known figures throughout football. They have been working from home, like so many of us, and there were plenty of children who got screen time with Dad.

Jason Licht, the Tampa Bay general manager, was surrounded by three children with a homemade “Go Bucs!” sign as a backdrop. Children also watched with Dolphins Coach Brian Flores, San Francisco 49ers General Manager John Lynch and the team’s coach, Kyle Shanahan, among others.

And the décor! Kliff Kingsbury, the coach of the Arizona Cardinals, sat alone on a white couch, with three monitors and three cellphones on a coffee table and a grand view outside his floor-to-ceiling windows: a firepit embedded in a manicured outdoor courtyard beside a swimming pool, with palm trees and mountains nearby.

The Cardinals called it “War Room 2.0” on Twitter, and the Super Bowl’s most valuable player, Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, approved. “I’m trying to have a crib like Kliff!” Mahomes, who played for Kingsbury at Texas Tech, said in a tweet.

And how about the contrast between the Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, on an immaculate white couch aboard his yacht, and Mike McCarthy, his team’s new coach? McCarthy sat too close to the camera in his home office, kept his highlighters in a paper Gatorade cup in the background and had a sliver of black tape strategically placed on the edge of his computer screen, apparently to obscure an Apple logo.

There were so many other questions. Like, how often does the analyst Louis Riddick play with the vintage hand-held electronic football game on his bookshelf?

Which of the helmets on his desk does Jets General Manager Joe Douglas like better: the team’s 1980s style or its current version?

Will the Atlanta Falcons owner, Arthur Blank, wear his team’s hideous new “ATL” jersey in public when the quarantine ends, as he did on Thursday? Does Tom Telesco, the Los Angeles Chargers general manager, ever use that team-branded surfboard in his living room?

And this is the one I can’t shake: How did Goodell host the show for four hours and not dip into that candy jar behind him?

It Appears Jerry Jones Is Positioning His $225 Million Megayacht For The NFC Championship Game

It's good to be Jerry Jones this week.

The loaded old horndog saw his Dallas Cowboys get a playoff win -- its first since the 2018 playoffs -- and now the 80-year-old billionaire is a win over Brock Purdy away from playing in the NFC title game for the first time since the 1995 season. Oh, and his massive 358-foot, $225 million yacht Bravo Eugenia is being spotted in Miami looking absolutely stunning and ready to host celebrations.

Super Bowl celebrations, perhaps?

According to Front Office Sports, the Eugenia was recently spotted in St. Maarten going through a maintenance routine, but now this beast is sitting in the Miami waters just waiting for action, which it probably did after Monday night's victory over Tampa Bay.

jerry jones yacht nfl draft

Jerry Jones enjoying NFL draft day on his 358-foot superyacht Bravo Eugenia. / NFL Network

This boat, as you can see is insane. It features seven guest cabins, 15 cabins for the crew and is ranked as the 41st largest yacht in the world. The Eugenia is so large that it takes 30 staff members to keep it running like a well-oiled billionaire needs it to run. With a range of 4,500 nautical miles, Jerry can make runs to pretty much anywhere in the world.

But TikTok wants to know about one key feature.

"Where's the plank for the kicker?" one TikTok observer noted after Jerry's placekicker Brett Maher missed four extra points in Monday's 31-14 win over Tampa.

"Maybe he should take some of his money and hire a coach to teach his place kicker how to successfully negotiate and make a PAT," another hater joked.

From the look of things, Jerry's yacht is headed up to West Palm Beach and just past Donald Trump's pad in Mar-a-Lago. You're darn right I'm thinking what you're thinking: Jerry has his eyes set on his yacht docking in either Philly for the NFC title game.

Now we wait and see how far north the Cowboys owner runs it before Sunday's game. Jacksonville seems like the best stopping point this week.

You guys want to see what real money looks like? Jerry Jones' megayacht anchored in Alaska is about as wealthy as you're ever going to see. Look at this beast!

The #Panthers recently restructured LB Shaq Thompson's contract, reducing his base pay this season to $3.1 million ($1.7M guaranteed) and clearing about $3M in cap space. #49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk's new contract reduced his base pay in 2024 and 2025, effectively making it a new two-year, $9.1 million deal. He got $4M in new guarantees this season, and San Francisco cleared nearly $4M in 2024 cap space. — Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) March 16, 2024

He was reportedly given permission to seek a trade but couldn't find a match.

The Steelers are paying league minimum ($1.21M) to Russell Wilson on his one-year deal. Pittsburgh could trade for Fields with the intention of triggering the fifth-year option and consider it a two-year sunken cost of about $30M (accounting for both Russ & Fields) for a starting QB in 2024-2025.

In this scenario, Fields would unquestionably be competing with Russ for the Steelers' starting job. This setup is now the most sensible path to the Bears dealing Justin Fields to his next team.

The Eagles addressed their need for an experienced backup trading for Kenny Pickett. It leaves a hole in the #Steelers QB depth chart.

Russell Wilson is on a 1-year deal with no backup. Steelers were one of the teams that thought highly of #Bears Justin Fields.

The math is mathing.

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett headed to Eagles, per report

Pittsburgh signed Russell Wilson on the veteran minimum, and they followed up by sending their 2022 first-round pick to the Eagles in a pick swap.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Pittsburgh gets pick No. 98 and two 2025 7th-round picks. The Eagles reportedly get and pick No. 120.

It's similar to the exchange we saw yesterday when Washington sent Sam Howell to the Seahawks.

NFL Power Rankings post-free agency: The Texans are going for it, the Cowboys are … not

The NFL ’s free-agent frenzy is over, which doesn’t mean free agency is over. Players will continue to be added to rosters, but the headline makers are all off the market now.

That makes it a good time for the Power Rankings to re-evaluate where everyone stands. We’ve listed the notable additions and notable losses for each team, including not only free-agency signings but players acquired or lost via trade and/or release, to help us get a clearer picture. For some teams, those moves haven’t changed much. For others, they have warranted some movement up or down the rankings.

For the Chiefs , it’s business as usual, and that’s where this list starts again.

1. Kansas City Chiefs

Post-Super Bowl rank: 1

Notable addition : WR Marquise Brown

Notable losses : WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling , OL Nick Allegretti , P Tommy Townsend

The reigning Super Bowl champions have made only one significant addition, signing the speedy but inconsistent Brown, but honestly, Kansas City could have signed only celebrity chef Alton Brown and it would still be No. 1 on this list. The Chiefs signaled their seriousness about going for a three-peat when they locked up defensive tackle Chris Jones. Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed also is still on the roster on the franchise tag , though he could be traded soon.

2. San Francisco 49ers

Post-Super Bowl rank: 2

Notable additions : Edge Leonard Floyd, Edge Yetur Gross-Matos, DT Jordan Elliott

Notable losses : DT Arik Armstead , Edge Chase Young, DT Javon Kinlaw , TE Charlie Woerner , QB Sam Darnold

Out go interior defensive linemen, in come edge rushers. That’s basically a wash for a team that returns everyone from an offense that led the NFL in EPA (expected points added) per game (8.81) and the NFC in points scored (491) last season, according to TruMedia. Trade talk around star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is worth listening for, though.

3. Detroit Lions

Post-Super Bowl rank: 3

Notable additions : DT D.J. Reader , Edge Marcus Davenport, CB Amik Robertson , CB Carlton Davis III

Notable losses : OG Jonah Jackson

Lions general manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell did their major work the previous two offseasons. Now, it’s about improving on the margins in an effort to catch the 49ers. A defense that was 24th in the league in yards per play allowed (5.5) last season has gotten all the help in free agency.

4. Houston Texans

Post-Super Bowl rank: 5

Notable additions : Edge Danielle Hunter, Edge Denico Autry, RB Joe Mixon , LB Azeez Al-Shaair , CB Jeff Okudah

Notable losses : Edge Jonathan Greenard, DT Sheldon Rankins , LB Blake Cashman , RB Devin Singletary

The Texans don’t want to waste any of the years in which quarterback C.J. Stroud is on a rookie contract. They gave Hunter a deal worth almost $25 million per year and retained most of their own free agents. Houston no longer has a first-round pick, thanks to a deal with Minnesota , but don’t be surprised if the Texans add to the wide receiver room in the second round.

5. Green Bay Packers

Post-Super Bowl rank: 6

Notable additions : S Xavier McKinney, RB Josh Jacobs

Notable losses : OG Jon Runyan , LB De’Vondre Campbell , RB Aaron Jones

The Packers essentially swapped out 29-year-old running back Aaron Jones for 26-year-old running back Josh Jacobs, who signed a four-year deal that could be worth $48 million (or could be terminated pretty cheaply after one year). They also spent big on McKinney to help new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley. Green Bay released David Bahktiari, but that doesn’t count as a notable loss because the left tackle has played only 13 games in the last three seasons.

6. Baltimore Ravens

Post-Super Bowl rank: 4

Notable addition : RB Derrick Henry

Notable losses : LB Patrick Queen , S Geno Stone, CB Ronald Darby , WR Devin Duvernay , RB Gus Edwards , Edge Tyus Bowser, WR Odell Beckham Jr.

The Ravens lost a lot of good players in free agency, but they extended star defensive tackle Justin Madubuike and added Henry , which makes it hard to be too down on Baltimore. Henry is 30 and since he entered the league in 2016, he’s the only player in the NFL with more than 10,000 yards. If he can hold up physically, the Ravens’ run game with Henry and quarterback Lamar Jackson is going to be formidable.

7. Cleveland Browns

Post-Super Bowl rank: 8

Notable additions : WR Jerry Jeudy

Notable losses : DT Jordan Elliott, LB Sione Takitaki

How we remember Cleveland’s March will depend entirely on Jeudy , the No. 15 pick in 2020 who has yet to top 1,000 yards in four NFL seasons. The Browns didn’t risk much, sending a fifth- and a sixth-round pick to Denver for Jeudy, but the reward could be high if Deshaun Watson and Jeudy develop a connection.

8. Cincinnati Bengals

Post-Super Bowl rank: 10

Notable additions : DT Sheldon Rankins, S Geno Stone, RB Zack Moss , S Vonn Bell

Notable losses : CB Chidobe Awuzie , OT Jonah Williams

Cincinnati used its franchise tag on wide receiver Tee Higgins , who now wants a trade . The Bengals, though, are pretty stubborn negotiators, so Higgins will be back alongside Ja’Marr Chase with a healthy Joe Burrow at quarterback. That’s why the big-money free-agent deals focused on the defense.

9. Dallas Cowboys

Post-Super Bowl rank: 11

Notable additions : None

Notable losses : OT Tyron Smith , Edge Dorance Armstrong, C Tyler Biadasz, RB Tony Pollard

People are going to stop believing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones when he says he’s “all in” after Dallas added no players of consequence and watched three good linemen walk out the door. Yes, the Cowboys have to hang on to money for new deals with Dak Prescott , CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons , but there’s a difference between being prudent and playing dead.

10. Buffalo Bills

Post-Super Bowl rank: 7

Notable addition : WR Curtis Samuel

Notable losses : WR Gabe Davis , S Jordan Poyer, CB Tre’Davious White , C Mitch Morse , RB Nyheim Hines , CB Dane Jackson

Quarterback Josh Allen ’s contract starts getting expensive this season (from an $18 million cap hit to $30 million), which is one reason why the Bills had to cut so many contracts during free agency. They spent the money they had on retaining key free agents, including defensive tackle DaQuan Jones , and extending left tackle Dion Dawkins . In the next two seasons, Allen’s cap hit goes up another $33 million, so Buffalo’s window is closing.

11. Los Angeles Rams

Post-Super Bowl rank: 12

Notable additions : OG Jonah Jackson, TE Colby Parkinson , CB Darious Williams , S Kamren Curl

Notable losses : DT Aaron Donald

Aaron Donald, the No. 13 pick in the 2014 draft, was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in his first season. After that, he finished in the top five of Defensive Player of the Year voting for seven straight seasons, winning the award three times. In a 10-year career, he totaled 111 sacks and 260 quarterback hits. Donald’s retirement stands as the only significant loss for the Rams, but it’s a big one.

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Post-Super Bowl rank: 13

Notable additions : S Jordan Whitehead, CB Bryce Hall

Notable losses : Edge Shaquil Barrett, LB Devin White

Tampa Bay didn’t add anybody of real consequence. Still, Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht called it “one of the greatest free-agency hauls ever” after his team re-signed wide receiver Mike Evans , linebacker Lavonte David and quarterback Baker Mayfield and used the franchise tag on safety Antoine Winfield Jr. Will that be enough for a fourth straight NFC South title?

13. Miami Dolphins

Post-Super Bowl rank: 9

Notable additions : LB Jordyn Brooks , CB Kendall Fuller , S Jordan Poyer, TE Jonnu Smith , Edge Shaquil Barrett, C Aaron Brewer

Notable losses : DT Christian Wilkins , OG Robert Hunt , LB Andrew Van Ginkel , S Brandon Jones, DT Raekwon Davis , Edge Emmanuel Ogbah, CB Xavien Howard

Salary-cap bills came due to South Florida this offseason. The Dolphins lost good to great players at all three levels of their defense and a mauling offensive lineman in Hunt. The offense already has been carrying most of the weight in Miami (second in NFL in scoring last year, 29.18 points per game), but the spotlight is going to be even hotter on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa , who’s aiming to prove he’s worth a new deal in the final year of his contract.

NFL free-agency superlatives: The best and the most puzzling moves so far

14. Indianapolis Colts

Post-Super Bowl rank: 14

Notable additions : DT Raekwon Davis, QB Joe Flacco

Notable losses : QB Gardner Minshew , RB Zack Moss

Externally, it was a quiet free agency for the Colts, but they committed $170 million to hang on to their internal talent — re-upping with wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. , linebacker Zaire Franklin , defensive lineman Grover Stewart and safety Kenny Moore II. Now, Indianapolis gets to see if young quarterback Anthony Richardson is the real deal. Richardson, whose rookie season was cut short by shoulder surgery, started throwing again in February.

15. New York Jets

Post-Super Bowl rank: 17

Notable additions : OT Tyron Smith, OG John Simpson , DT Javon Kinlaw, QB Tyrod Taylor

Notable losses : Edge Bryce Huff, S Jordan Whitehead, OG Laken Tomlinson , TE C.J. Uzomah

Everything is about Aaron Rodgers , as usual. With the veteran quarterback set to return from his Achilles injury, the Jets signed two offensive linemen to protect him and a better backup quarterback in case that’s not enough. The Jets’ defense had the second-best success rate in the NFL last year (63.6 percent) and added defensive tackle depth with Kinlaw.

16. Philadelphia Eagles

Post-Super Bowl rank: 15

Notable additions : RB Saquon Barkley , Edge Bryce Huff, S C.J. Gardner-Johnson , WR DeVante Parker , LB Devin White

Notable losses : C Jason Kelce, DT Fletcher Cox , S Kevin Byard, CB Avonte Maddox , RB D’Andre Swift

When the NFL schedule is released in May, get ready for everyone to circle the Eagles’ trip to MetLife Stadium in red. After six years in New York, Barkley jumped ship to a division rival after failing to get a long-term commitment from the Giants . Philly gave Barkley, the No. 2 pick in the 2018 draft, a three-year, $37.75 million deal hoping it would help offset the loss of organizational stalwarts Kelce and Cox, both of whom retired.

17. Atlanta Falcons

Post-Super Bowl rank: 29

Notable additions : QB Kirk Cousins , WR Darnell Mooney

Notable losses : TE Jonnu Smith, RB Cordarrelle Patterson

Nobody moved up more in these rankings than the Falcons. They will at least get that from the $100 million they guaranteed Cousins. The former Vikings quarterback could earn as much as $180 million in Atlanta, making it the largest total-value free-agency deal in NFL history. The Falcons believe the signing will pull together the rest of their offensive talent and allow them to snap a six-year postseason drought. Last year’s starting defensive ends — Bud Dupree and Calais Campbell — remain on the free-agent market.

18. Seattle Seahawks

Post-Super Bowl rank: 18

Notable additions : OT George Fant , C Nick Harris , QB Sam Howell

Notable losses : OG Damien Lewis , LB Jordyn Brooks, TE Colby Parkinson, TE Will Dissly , S Quandre Diggs, S Jamal Adams, LB Bobby Wagner , QB Drew Lock

The Seahawks kept defensive tackle Leonard Williams and tight end Noah Fant , but a lot of players who have felt synonymous with Seattle are gone, including Wagner, Brooks and Diggs. First-year head coach Mike Macdonald didn’t get an influx of talent either, so this season is going to be a challenge considering Seattle has only one pick in the first 80 selections of the draft.

19. Minnesota Vikings

Post-Super Bowl rank: 16

Notable additions : Edge Jonathan Greenard, Edge Andrew Van Ginkel, QB Sam Darnold, LB Blake Cashman, RB Aaron Jones

Notable losses : QB Kirk Cousins, DE Danielle Hunter, DE D.J. Wonnum , RB Alexander Mattison , LB Jordan Hicks

While the Falcons made a big bet by signing Kirk Cousins, the Vikings made a big bet by letting him leave. Now they’ve got to find his replacement. Minnesota has the Nos. 11 and 23 picks in the first round and is widely expected to try to package them with more draft capital to move up even further. The question is whether or not the Vikings can get as high as No. 3 or will have to settle for the fourth-best rookie quarterback prospect. Minnesota signed Darnold in case it can’t come out of the draft with a new starter.

NFL Mock Draft: How will Kirk Cousins' signing with the Falcons impact the top 11 picks?

20. Jacksonville Jaguars

Post-Super Bowl rank: 21

Notable additions : WR Gabe Davis, C Mitch Morse, DT Arik Armstead, WR Devin Duvernay, QB Mac Jones

Notable losses : WR Calvin Ridley , DT Foley Fatukasi, CB Darious Williams, S Rayshawn Jenkins

The Jaguars kept edge rusher Josh Allen with the franchise tag and added Armstead to the defensive line. That should help offset other defensive losses for a group that showed some promise last year but finished 17th in the league in points allowed (21.8 per game). On the other side of the ball, it appears Jacksonville botched its attempt to retain Ridley, but it did add size (Davis) and speed (Duvernay) to its wide receiver room.

21. Las Vegas Raiders

Post-Super Bowl rank: 22

Notable additions : DT Christian Wilkins, QB Gardner Minshew

Notable losses : RB Josh Jacobs, DE Bilal Nichols , CB Amik Robertson, QB Jimmy Garoppolo , WR Hunter Renfrow , DT Jerry Tillery

The Raiders gave Minshew a two-year deal worth up to $25 million, which makes it seem like they are resigned to going into 2024 with Minshew as their starter. However, don’t rule out the Raiders trying to get into the trade-up conversation in April to get a quarterback. After losing Jacobs, wide receiver Davante Adams is going to start feeling lonely in Las Vegas if the Raiders don’t get a promising quarterback.

22. Pittsburgh Steelers

Post-Super Bowl rank: 19

Notable additions : QB Russell Wilson , QB Justin Fields , LB Patrick Queen, CB Donte Jackson , S DeShon Elliott

Notable losses : QB Kenny Pickett , WR Diontae Johnson , QB Mason Rudolph , QB Mitch Trubisky , S Keanu Neal , CB Patrick Peterson , WR Allen Robinson II , P Pressley Harvin III

Nobody has had a more interesting offseason than the Steelers, who moved out quarterbacks Pickett and Trubisky (and let Rudolph leave in free agency) and brought in Wilson and Fields. What it’s going to look like, no one knows. New offensive coordinator Arthur Smith tried hard when he was head coach in Atlanta to make former Florida quarterback turned tight end Feleipe Franks into a multi-threat offensive weapon. Fields could play that role and is a better passer and athlete than Franks.

23. Chicago Bears

Post-Super Bowl rank: 24

Notable additions : WR Keenan Allen , RB D’Andre Swift, S Kevin Byard, TE Gerald Everett

Notable losses : WR Darnell Mooney, DT Justin Jones , OL Cody Whitehair , S Eddie Jackson

The Bears have been busy. They re-signed cornerback Jaylon Johnson , upgraded at running back with Swift and at wide receiver with Allen and traded quarterback Fields to Pittsburgh for a 2025 sixth-round pick that could become a fourth if Fields plays enough this year. However, they hope the most impactful move is still a month away. The Bears have the No. 1 pick in the draft and are widely expected to take USC quarterback Caleb Williams, which will bump them up this list. Chicago also has the No. 9 pick and $31.7 million in cap space.

24. Tennessee Titans

Post-Super Bowl rank: 25

Notable additions : WR Calvin Ridley, RB Tony Pollard, C Lloyd Cushenberry III , CB Chidobe Awuzie, LB Kenneth Murray, QB Mason Rudolph

Notable losses : RB Derrick Henry, LB Azeez Al-Shaair, CB Sean Murphy-Bunting , DE Denico Autry

Making quarterback Will Levis comfortable was the point of free agency, which is why Tennessee gave Ridley a four-year deal that could be worth $92 million and signed Pollard and Cushenberry. New head coach Brian Callahan should know by the end of the year whether Levis, the 33rd pick of the 2023 draft, is the future there or not. It will be odd not seeing Henry after eight seasons in Tennessee in which he carried the ball a Herculean 2,186 times.

25. Denver Broncos

Post-Super Bowl rank: 23

Notable additions : S Brandon Jones, DT Malcolm Roach

Notable losses : C Lloyd Cushenberry, LB Josey Jewell , QB Russell Wilson, S Justin Simmons

Head coach Sean Payton got Wilson out of town, but Jarrett Stidham is the only quarterback on the roster now. The Broncos made Stidham the starter to finish out last season, but during a four-year NFL career in which he’s 1-3 as a starter, he hasn’t proved that he can be a long-term answer. The Broncos still have $22 million in cap space, but they didn’t see fit to use any of it on Cushenberry or Simmons as Payton continues to remake the organization.

26. Los Angeles Chargers

Post-Super Bowl rank: 20

Notable additions : RB Gus Edwards, TE Will Dissly

Notable losses : WR Keenan Allen, LB Kenneth Murray, TE Gerald Everett, RB Austin Ekeler , WR Mike Williams , LB Eric Kendricks

Jim Harbaugh’s first offseason with the Chargers involved cutting a lot of salary, which is why Allen and Williams are gone and Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack restructured their contracts. Edwards is an interesting addition and plays the power back role Harbaugh prefers better than Ekeler, but the exits outweigh the entrances on the roster so far, and Harbaugh’s first year might not be stellar.

27. New York Giants

Post-Super Bowl rank: 30

Notable additions : DE Brian Burns , OG Jon Runyan, RB Devin Singletary, QB Drew Lock

Notable losses : RB Saquon Barkley, S Xavier McKinney, DT A’Shawn Robinson

The most impactful move of free agency might not be a free agency deal at all. The Giants acquired the top free agent available, defensive end Brian Burns, after Carolina had franchise-tagged him and then moved him for a second-round pick, a fifth-round pick and a fifth-round pick swap. Burns had 46 sacks in five seasons with the Panthers, and now he will be joining Dexter Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeaux on the defensive line.

28. Washington Commanders

Post-Super Bowl rank: 26

Notable additions : Edge Dorance Armstrong, C Tyler Biadasz, LB Frankie Luvu , RB Austin Ekeler, S Jeremy Chinn, LB Bobby Wagner, QB Marcus Mariota

Notable losses : WR Curtis Samuel, QB Sam Howell, CB Kendall Fuller, RB Antonio Gibson , S Kamren Curl

The Commanders shipped out former starting quarterback Howell in a trade of late-round draft picks to clear the way for whichever quarterback they take with the second pick next month. Washington signed free-agent quarterback Marcus Mariota to back up the new guy and also added a lot of players who have a background with new head coach Dan Quinn, including Armstrong and Wagner.

29. New England Patriots

Post-Super Bowl rank: 27

Notable additions : RB Antonio Gibson, QB Jacoby Brissett , LB Sione Takitaki

Notable losses : LB Mack Wilson, DT Lawrence Guy, CB J.C. Jackson , WR DeVante Parker, QB Mac Jones

The Patriots pick third in the draft, but they didn’t give any helpful hints about their intentions during free agency. Brissett signed a one-year deal worth at least $8 million and up to $12 million. That could be good backup money if New England takes a quarterback in the first round, or Brissett, who is 18-30 as a starting quarterback in eight seasons, could handle the starting job if the Patriots want to trade the No. 3 pick and get more draft assets. Jones, the former starter, was traded to Jacksonville.

30. New Orleans Saints

Post-Super Bowl rank: 28

Notable addition : Edge Chase Young

Notable losses : DE Malcolm Roach, S Marcus Maye , WR Michael Thomas , QB Jameis Winston

One of the drawbacks to New Orleans’ strategy of constantly pushing the salary-cap option is the lack of options during free agency. Cedrick Wilson Jr. , who has 101 catches in five pro seasons, and journeyman cornerback Lonnie Johnson were the only additions before Young joined on a one-year deal Monday. This is not quarterback Derek Carr ’s fault, though. There are five veteran Saints whose salary-cap hits are higher than Carr’s. That will change in 2025 as Carr’s number goes way up, so this could be his last chance with the Saints.

31. Arizona Cardinals

Post-Super Bowl rank: 31

Notable additions : DT Bilal Nichols, OT Jonah Williams, DT Justin Jones, CB Sean-Murphy Bunting, LB Mack Wilson

Notable losses : WR Marquise Brown, OT D.J. Humphries

The Cardinals seem to be waiting for the draft to make their offseason noise, which makes sense considering they have six picks in the top 90. The addition of the former Bengal Williams will allow Arizona to make Paris Johnson Jr. its fixture at left tackle if it prefers. Jones and Nichols bolster a defensive line for a team that was 31st in the NFL in scoring defense last year (26.8).

32. Carolina Panthers

Post-Super Bowl rank: 32

Notable additions : WR Diontae Johnson, OG Robert Hunt, OG Damien Lewis, DT A’Shawn Robinson, DE D.J. Wonnum

Notable losses : DE Brian Burns, LB Frankie Luvu, C Bradley Bozeman, S Vonn Bell, S Jeremy Chinn, CB Donte Jackson

Losing Burns for second- and a fifth-round picks feels like a loss for the Panthers, but there are some potential bright spots. Carolina committed to the interior of the offensive line with deals that could total $153 million and got a wide receiver with the talent to be its top pass catcher by trading with the Steelers for Johnson. New head coach Dave Canales hopes those moves help him get 2023 No. 1 pick Bryce Young on track.
