AZIMUT DUAL MODE HULL

The Dual Mode hull is a highly efficient semi-planing hull designed to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 20% at medium speeds* , guaranteeing superior navigation comfort in a wider range of sea conditions. The double-chine hull, combined with the vertical bow, minimizes the impact of waves and thus offers greater freedom of navigation, cruising comfortably at low speeds for extended durations as well as at higher speeds.

A 130kW/h lithium-ion battery pack can support the yacht’s hotel load for up to 4 hours during the day and up to 8 hours at night. Now, it’s possible to enjoy the full superyacht experience without the noise, vibration and emissions of the generators, making daytime activities more pleasant and nighttime relaxation more peaceful.

A UTA air extraction system continuously refreshes and treats the onboard environments. The staterooms below deck benefit in particular from the continuous flow of clean air from the outside, filtered to eliminate the majority of airborn particles and odors.

Azimut Launches the Magellano 30 Metri

Azimut Yachts in Italy has launched the new flagship of its Magellano line: the Magellano 30 Metri, with a length overall of 97 feet, 6 inches.

Beam is 23 feet, and draft is 6 feet, 8 inches. Fuel capacity is more than 3,800 gallons for long-distance cruising—and Azimut says fuel consumption is about 15 percent lower than on traditional hard-chine planing hulls.

Also according to Azimut, the yacht has a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots with twin 1,550-horsepower MAN engines.

The design team behind the Magellano 30 Metri includes people who also collaborated on the Magellano 25 Metri : Ken Freivokh, who handled exterior styling, and Vincenzo De Cotiis, who designed the interiors. PLANA collaborated with Azimut on naval architecture for the Dual Mode hull.

Notable design features include more than 750 feet of glazed surfaces, for wide-angle views and a great deal of natural light on board.

A hotel mode package is available: Azimut says the Magellano 30 Metri can be fitted with this package, which has 100 kWh lithium batteries that let the yacht anchor silently, with zero emissions, for as long as four hours during the day and eight hours at night.

It is hard not to appreciate and be amazed by the level of details and bespoke customization on this yacht which make her a truly outstanding and unique. Her one-off interior wood furniture is from the highest of the exclusive superyacht Macassar Ebony collection in the piano-gloss finish. This forms a luxurious and elegant base to an exquisite mix of precious materials and stone throughout this superyacht with the finest Onyx, marbles, burred wood, wenge wood, specially sourced finest leather and fabrics, all of which elevates the feeling of luxury, prestige and exclusiveness further throughout the yacht which is already recognized as one of the best designed 30M superyacht in its class with large panaromic windows throughout allowing for plenty of natural lighting (especially in the main deck saloon and full beam master suite forward and cabins in the lower accommodation) and a layout that both makes entertaining and socializing with guests as equally enjoyable and relaxing with friends and family members in complete privacy, comfort, and safety.

The main deck saloon is spacious and airy, with a private side balcony/terrace that can be open and closed. The mid ship dining area has a specially designed table that accommodate 10 people which can be extended to 12-14 if needed be, with stunning back-lit and color changing golden spider Onyx that is specially sourced from Italy to match the yacht interior theme. This is served by the adjoining full size galley that has a very convenient side door that operates on an automatic function. Either side of the dining area are beautifully finished bars and counter units which has dedicated storage for the yacht crystal set of glasses, cutleries, finest china, and accessories. These counter are also finished in matching golden onyx and complimented further by bespoke Burred walnut panels, and topped by specially sourced Crocodile leather. An identical unit is replicated towards the aft end of the saloon but with a discrete 55”TV on an up-down mechanism that can also twist and turn for viewing from all direction especially in the main sofa as well as the aft cockpit area. Furthermore, at a press of a button, the ceiling panels reveal a specially installed 86” screen in front of the dining bulkhead with another retracted projector allowing guests to enjoy an array of entertainment on virtual reality, or simply the occasional singings and movies entertainment!

The Princess 30M has always had one of the best master suite on the main deck at the forward area with amazing space, natural lighting, for both comfort and privacy. She is also beautifully finished with white Onyx counter tops and throughout the bathroom. Indeed this theme of luxurious fittings and the usage of most premium exquisite materials are repeated throughout the rest of the 4 cabin in the lower accommodation which is accessed via a central stairway that is very comfortable. The lower aft “VIP Suite” has an adjoining partition which when open can create a huge full beam suite with one large bed and a sofa-seating area in the adjoining room, which can be used for relaxing, entertainment room, or children room if needed be. Once closed, this is then separated into two rooms and the sofa can be converted into a full size bed, and each with its own luxuriously fitted bathroom with Ivory Grey Onyx (with a carefully designed Cross cut Eramosa onyx) which compliments the white (Lasso Bianco) marble flooring which is also used in the bulkhead instead of the standard wood furniture on other Princess 30M also. Further forward there are two more cabins on the port and starboard, both of which can be made as a double bed or separate twin by a sliding function, as well as additional pullman berth. The bathrooms are yet again beautifully finished with beautiful marble, onyx and special details.

Up on the flybridge this yacht really shows how she can really entertain a large group in style and comfort. She features a large circular dining table that accommodate 10-12 people comfortably under the shade, while her aft seating area is similar to that of the Princess 40M flagship (World superyacht award winner) with large C shaped seating and served by an well equipped bar. Furthermore, when needed, the yacht also has got special airconditioning fitted to both the flybridge and aft cockpit complete with custom see-through enclosure so that you could enjoy cruising on the warmer days in comfort.

Her entertainment features doesn’t stop just inside, she also features one of the most equipped set of watersports toys and equipments of any 30M yacht, including custom made sliders, inflatable swimming pool, jetski, seabob, jetboard, banana boat and doughnuts, kayak, and waterskis to name a few.

Beyond her luxurious and exclusive interior styling which has been designed to create a “wow” effect, and beyond the standard Princess Yacht award-winning build quality, layout and design excellence, this particular yacht has also had many technical upgrades for a truly superior superyacht that is capable, safe, and very reliable. The extended long-rang fuel tank (additional 2,300 lt to give 14,500 lt in total) allows her to cruise further and in complete silence thanks to her amazing construction which specially reduces noise and vibrations (cabins are built on  “floating” floors with cushioning throughout for superyacht style noise-transfer efficiency). There is even further dynamat sound insulation throughout for even extra noise control perfection. The stabilizer is upgraded to the TRAC 16x model (usually used on 35M superyacht). The boat is fitted with the most advanced Alfa Laval MIV 303 fuel polishing system to ensure cleaned fuel is used throughout especially when going through to more remote area, while there is trailing pumps fitted to also allow the boat to run on one engine if needed be, as well as auto troll function for slow speed cruising. The freshwater tank is made of stainless steel in place of standard. There is full internet and satellite TV system on board. The yacht comes ready with set of spare propellers, and shaft as well as a list of all spare parts.

The yacht has been lightly used and lovingly and meticulously maintained by her owner and the Princess Yachts South East Asia team and presents one of the most special opportunity to enjoy one of the most special Princess 30M ever built and available right now. THE OWNER FIRST

The main focus of the Filippetti Navetta 30 project is on the owner. Spaces are arranged and customised around the owner’s needs for a totally relaxing sailing experience. However, this long-range cruiser is not only designed for comfort: aesthetics is important, too. Two different layouts and a custom interior configuration make this yacht unique and inimitable. The owner can choose between two versions, with 5 or 6 cabins. The latter even includes an upper deck that is exclusively reserved for the owner. In both versions, the master cabin enjoys a breath-breaking panoramic view.

Light is one among the main features of the Filippetti Navetta 30 . In the bow, where the large owner area is accommodated, the enveloping windows flood the interiors with an incredible amount of natural light, offering an ample panoramic view.

A WELLNESS OASIS ON BOARD

Travelling on board the Filippetti Navetta 30 is synonymous with relax and quiet. The Owner Suite can house a SPA area with jacuzzi, steam bath and an extraordinarily large shower or  a private Gym. September 17 was marked by meeting of the UFI Executive Committee. During the event, the Committe approved the admission of Crocus Expo IEC as a full member of UFI in categories of “Exhibition Organizers” and “Exhibition Centres. Moscow Boat Show has been granted the status of “UFI Approved Event”.

Moscow Boat Show

UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry is the association of trade show organizers, fairground owners, national and international associations of the exhibition industry, and its partners. As of 2012, it has 608 members in 224 cities from 86 countries covering 6 continents. The association members are responsible for the management and operation of over 4 500 profile events. The association represents more than 1 000 000 of exhibitors and more than 150 000 000 visitors.

The Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre is a listed member of the International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC), the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, the Guild of Exhibition and Fair Operators by the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Donald Tramp fund has awarded Crocus Expo IEC Diamond Excellence Award.

Crocus Expo IEC is an ideal venue for running of large international and national exhibitions of different profile including congress events, conferences and scientific symposiums.About 50% of all exhibition events of Moscow take place in Crocus Expo and average exposition space load comprises 85%.

Moscow Boat Show provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!

The exposition space will increase up to 45 000 sq m in 2013. More than 350 Russian and foreign companies will participate in the show. The scale of the project confirms confident positions of its positive development.

Moscow Boat Show is the largest project in Russia presenting all the best in the world of yachting. The exhibition annually shows high level of attendance and has already proved as significant and noteworthy event in the world of yachts and boats.
