Cost Effective

Based on our racing experience, power catamarans generally produce about 25% better fuel economy. For example, running at 35 to 40 mph, a cat will consume around 3 miles per gallon.

Enhanced Control

Catamaran motor centers range from 72” to 88” apart, allowing for better maneuvering around docks; A V-Hull is typically 24” apart. Most v-bottoms need bow thrusters and/or joystick controls for enhanced control and maneuverability in tight spaces.

This project is being sold "as is where is". The hull is currently tack welded within a fully insulated and functioning shop in Clarkston Washington on the shores of the Snake River a mere 120 miles from its mouth to the Columbia River and another 345 miles to the Pacific Ocean. Since the project currently is tack welded, final weld up and more lead for ballast need to be added. After which, she'll be ready to move to a new destination via truck or water for finishing if the buyer so desires. The shop is available for lease if the buyer decides to finish the boat on location. The hard "Bimini" top is not connected due to headroom within the shop. All specifications, cut files, blueprints, and plans are included. And, all aluminum to finish the hull is reported to be onsite. Construction began in 2005. She represents the unfulfilled dream of an ambitious, hard-working entrepreneur who ran out of time to complete her - keep the dream alive! Stock #143811 One of a kind Custom Project sail boat! She is unfinished and ready for a new owner to make her all she was meant to be! 95 Foot Schooner Project This Schooner was the brainchild of its owner after sailing as a missionary in the South Pacific starting in 1985. Over the past 20 years, he has sailed over 42,000 nautical miles reaching over twenty countries and island nations. These experiences as a missionary and providing relief work were the catalyst for this project. Designed as a highly capable long range, fast and safe offshore sailing vessel in aluminum for sailing expeditions ranging from the tropics to the Arctic, the original intent was that she be capable of doing rescue work, mission work, and relief supplies delivery for troubled areas. Long range under power was also a primary requirement, thus one could legitimately refer to this as a true motor-sailor, with 100% functionality in either mode. The Schooner's lines will provide high performance in an easily driven hull, planned for maximum speed and the fastest passage times. The twin keels and rudders allow her to sit down where there is a big range with the tides. The interior layout has been planned around an extended family or a large charter party up to 20 passengers. As such, this 3 master will also make an exceptionally fine charter vessel. Displacement will vary from around 195,000# when lightly loaded, to a maximum capacity of 259,000# with tanks full, stores for twenty people, and the boat ready for a long passage, or alternately loaded with a cargo of supplies. Hull speed is predicted to achieve nearly 18 knots. Typical sailing speeds in favorable conditions should be in the range of 12 to 14 knots. In other words, built for comfort AND speed...! Reason for selling is failing health.

This is a steel hulled boat project that was always operated in fresh water (Missouri River, in South Dakota, no rust) manufactured in Louisiana by the folks that made "swiftboats". Wood and fiberglass wheelhouse needs rebuilding. (We will include 11 newer style windows). Boat has twin Detroit Diesel supercharged 6-71's, one showed 900 hours, was torn down for inspection, looked good, but as long as it was apart, valve job was done, and rings and bearings replaced. This motor now has only run-in and dyno time. (dyno'd at 251 hp) Second motor showed 660 hours was not disassembled. These engines counter-rotate and have Allision 1.5:1 transmissions, and brass propellers. Included is the boats original lighting (1- mile- ray search light, nav and interior), fog horn, 4 cyl diesel generator (12k), fire suppression bottle (35#), stainless steel rudders, propeller shafts, controls and instrumentation. Boat has been in dry dock for approx. 15 years, both engines turn freely. This boat was spec'd by the Corp of Engineers in 1953, and was operated as a passenger transport. Again this boat will need a complete refit. Motors alone are worth the asking price.

32' CATAMARAN SAILBOAT HULL / LARGE PROJECT SAILBOAT

Relisting do to non-paying low feedback Buyer..... Up for sale is a 32' Catamaran sailboat hull in need of a total rebuild. This open water sailboat is in poor condition but the hull is ridged and strong. I purchased this sailboat from a marina in Waukegan IL in 2008. The marina did provide me with a clear title. The hull is thick fiberglass and we considered it a good candidate for a full rebuild. The hull is the only thing we considered usable on the entire boat. Lower hull is all glass and very ridged. One thing that will need to be fixed, there is a steel skid runner that extends the entire length of the bottom of the hull, (it is a piece of like 1.5" x 1.5" angle iron that they bonded to the bottom of the hull). This runner should have been out of stainless or aluminum but it was done in steel and it is rusting. A line of fiberglass around it has split. You will want to simply cut out all of this steel skid runner and either replace it or simply remove it as it is not needed. There was an inboard engine and drive but I parted that out some time ago as it was not going to be part of the rebuild I had planned. There is also a large aluminum mast with roller furler included but the mast was damaged while in storage, (yard maintenance guy drove over it about 4' from the top). This catamaran hull will need a total rebuild and is sold AS/IS. Do not buy this boat if you are thinking you can just paint it and throw some sails on it. Transport is of course the issue. There is no trailer. Beam is a little over 14', (we permitted at 14' for transport). I personally, would think about sectioning the boat right down the center for transport. I have done this before to a 45' boat that we were reconfiguring. It can be done in a day with a common circular saw. It can then easily be pulled with a gooseneck trailer and a p/u truck. Another possible transport strategy would be to find a carrier who can haul the boat on a 45degee angle on a low deck trailer. We can crane load from our location on to your transport or you can possibly just back the trailer under the elevated twin hulls. Loading and transport is obviously at buyers expense. I am sorry, I simply do not have the time to get involved with transport estimates and logistics. Good luck bidding and please, no zero feedback or low feedback buyers unless you contact me first. ****The Ohio River is less than 50 miles away from our location. There have been Ebayer's suggestions that possibly some basic hull repair is done on location and then the cat is towed down the Ohio River. This is a possible transport solution.

1973 by Woods Hole scientific on Cape Cod - They borrowed the hull mold from MAKO and laid a double+ Hull and built a rugged walk around cuddly cab to be used for short, shallow depth exploring ,,,, etc. 22 ft hull 8 ft beam stainless rails full 2X8 gunnels a diver can sit on for entry and it doesn't move a micron. Stand, jump beat it with a big stick - this boat is a rugged and safe open water boat. I taught SCUBA off it for a couple of years. It hasn't run for 10+ years - put away with engine fogged real good. 165 GM I/O (I have a rebuilt I/O that has never been used that goes with it) A box of goodies (new starter, cleaners,,,etc) Winter now gone It is a good project boat. Needs engines, rigging, controls, and has a few soft spots on floor. I ripped out old wall carpet and removed the head from the cabin. Sanded and painted the interior walls to make it easier to maintain. Just don't have time to get finish her. Would make a great Gulf boat. A single 250 would be enough to power this boat. This is a 1983 Cape Dory 24' Trawler Project Boat. Cape Dory Yachts was founded in 1963 in East Taunton, Mass. Originally a sailboat company, by the end of the 70’s fuel crisis, Cape Dory decided to explore the powerboat market. They ended up being enormously successful, and built hundreds of powerboats of many sizes and configurations. Widgeon is the factory prototype, hull number 1, the first powerboat they ever built. Built in Taunton Mass, I have seen some evidence that she spent part of her life in Canada, then in Texas, and finally has been in Florida for many years. Although she has the lines of a Maine lobsterboat, she also comes with a mast and boom so that she can sail (all original). You will find more information, including a downloadable original sales brochure at the cape dory website: capedory.org/specs/cd24pwr.htm She has her original engine, a Yanmar 3HM 27hp, and uses about ½ gal/hr at a cruising speed of approximately 8 knots. She is the only CD24 trawler to have a Yanmar, as the general arrangement was changed by hull 002, and only a Westerbeke would fit in the new engine location. The engine does not have an accurate hour log, but starts and runs well, uses little oil, and has had much love since I have owned her, including a new injection pump, exhaust system, s/w pump, all hoses and much more. Even though her engine is in storage, I would be able to run the engine on blocks (demo) prior to a sale. I have owned her for five years, and have had her both in Pompano FL and Merritt Island Fl. When I bought her I surveyed her and knew she was going to need all of her interior wood replaced eventually because of rot. Her hull and house are fiberglass (very heavy layup) but her cabin, bulkheads and platform framing were all wood. Her platform deck is glass over plywood. I have removed her engine and systems, and nearly completed all demo of the framing and ply. During the process detailed construction pictures were taken of everything as well as measurements. All tabs were left in place for alignment. All she needs now is new wood put in, her platform deck glassed over, and to be fitted out. Her engine and all equipment have been stored, and go with the boat, and I can provide endless advice as I used to build and restore boats professionally. I am presently continuing to restore her even as I list her for sale, but the reason for selling is that my wife and I are selling our home on the water, and in moving inland I no longer want to keep a boat.

1995 Cougar Offshore Racing Hull  (LOCATION: Clearwater FL)  OWN A SERIOUS OFFSHORE MONOHULL RACING BOAT - This 46' Cougar Custom Offshore Racer is available now. Hull only with 53’ trailer included.  This boat's story is described below.  In 1994 Great Lakes Power’s President Harry Allen made the decision to build a state of the art diesel powered endurance racer that would be the ultimate signature for the quality and reliability of the marine products Great Lakes sells and services worldwide.  It started with a special composite 46’ English built Cougar hull which was modified to accommodate triple Caterpillar diesels and Twin Disc Arneson surface drives. Great Lakes Power’s management team assisted Richard Quandt, the project’s engineer and crew chief in designing and specifying the 18,500 pounds of engines, hardware and equipment that would be added to the 5000 pound hull. It incorporated several first time design features many of which are used in high performance boats 15 years later. John Cosker, Conner Marine and John Pompi, Marine Performance were also key participants in the vessel design, construction and upfit.  The Spirit of America project was a culmination of Harry’s long time interest in offshore power boat racing which started with Cummin’s Engine Company in 1965 along with his dream of piloting the fastest boat from Miami to Nassau and back. The team’s first record was set on a 3 hour and 3 minute run from Toledo to Buffalo in 1996. Dave Bell, Great Lakes Executive Vice President was in the drivers seat with Harry at the throttles, Rich Quandt crew chief and navigator, and Eric Lavine as the onboard technician.  Bob Hallengren of Caterpillar and Bobby Chan of Ringhaver provided valuable assistance in preparing standard production engines for their extended duty. They were also on board when the Sun Coast to Gold Coast record (originally established by Kyle Petty) was broken in 1998. That record would be a precursor to the Miami to Nassau to Miami record run which is documented in this video.  On Monday morning, June 15, 1998 the crew of Harry Allen, throttle man, Steve Kildahl, driver, Kevin Brown, navigator and Rich Quandt, crew chief left the Marriot Miami Marina and headed out Go

1974 15' Fiberform tri-hull boat with early 80's 75 hp Evinrude outboard engine and trailer. New battery, new spark plugs, new trailer lights, new gas tank, transome holder life jackets etc. Have complete set of manuals for the motor. This is a project boat and sold in as is where is condition. The boat is at a private residence in Fort-Lauderdale Florida and to view the boat I have to make an appointment with the owner of the residence. If you like to keep the boat there the monthly dockage is $520. Here is the descpiption from the previous owner Needs hull and deck painted, some interior work. Engine need injectors (a long story about a bad mechanic). Low hours. fuel tanks may need relining. Some electrical work, forward cabin needs some new upholstery. I have owned this boat since 1984, 36 years. Raised my kids in the Bahamas on this boat. I have rebuilt "Renaissance" twice from the hull up. I'm just to old to do it again. BUT, you will have the benefit of all the extras on this boat that I put in from experience and love. Nearly new main sheet winches (over $2,000.00 each new) .....Nearly new sails ( over $7,000.00) .... Yanmar 100 Hp turbo Diesel. Not that many hours on it, but a mechanic who was replacing the starter motor, decided their was water in the injectors, and pulled three of them before I noticed and stopped him. I have a fuel filter with an automatic water sensor that shuts off the fuel flow. He never charged me for the starter motor. HV/AC system, Freezer with 2 50# cold plates, a door on the refer. Fresh and saltwater pumps. Stereo. Near new upholstery, main cabin and aft cabin. Water heater. All thru hulls are composite, and replaced the brass that was installed at the factory. They will never go bad. 45# CQR with chain, 40# plow with chain, each with about 250 feet 1/2" anchor rode. It has a funky wood and glass top over the cockpit. I put it their in 2003 after I got skin cancer, it gave me the faith to go out again. It should come off!!! and be replaced by a proper dodger. 42' long 13' beam draws 5' About 52' 3" water line to top of mast. (fits under I 95 at low tide). 310 gal water. 300 gal diesel BUT, I never used the main tank, I think it has water in it. Wing tanks hold 65 gals each. Port tank need re-lining. If you have questions please ask, I know most every inch of this boat. It's in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I would really like to see someone who would fix her up and take her sailing!!!! She lives for the sea.

How It All Began

The history of Moscow-City goes all the way back to 1992. The government of Moscow at the time wanted to bring into existence its own skyscrapers like the ones in London or New York. And the idea caught on. In 1992 the project for the construction of the huge “Moscow-City” MIBC compound was enthusiastically approved, kick-starting the painstaking preparatory works. The original intention was that the skyscrapers would only house office space. However, as time went on, the towers began to welcome in ordinary residents who wanted to live on the territory of this business and finance hub.

Moscow-City is undoubtedly a city within a city. Its grandeur is mind-boggling. It is perfect in every way: from location to infrastructure. Moscow-City Central Core

This is the most complex building within the MIBC compound. Its total floor area is a whopping 1 476 378 sqft (450 000 m²). It consists of two massive parts, each of which boasts a truly impressive infrastructure. The underground part includes 3 Moscow Metro stations, a parking lot for automobiles and a shopping mall. The aboveground part houses a concert hall and a hotel.

Tower 2000 is a skyscraper having 34 stories. Its total floor area is 200 318 sqft (61 057 m²), most of which is office space. The key feature of this skyscraper is its direct connection to the Bagration Bridge, which has its own shopping arcade. The tower has everything one may need while working here, including a large parking lot and several restaurants.

Evolution Tower

This elegant structure is 836 feet (255 m) high – that’s a whole 54 stories! The total floor area here is 554 462 sqft (169 000 m²). The Evolution Tower’s key feature is that it has its own Wedding Hall. This skyscraper houses large office spaces, a parking lot and several restaurants.

Imperia Tower

MIBC’s Imperia Tower is the undeniable focal point of the MIBC’s business life. Its height is 784 feet (239 m), which means one can hold conferences and resolve key business matters on the 59 th floor! And that really is amazing! The tower has everything: offices, hotels, restaurants and parking lots. But if you want a truly unforgettable experience, visit the viewing platform! It is situated on the 58 th floor and a simply astounding view of Moscow can be seen from it.

Moscow Tower and St. Petersburg Tower

The Moscow and St. Petersburg Towers are the chief representatives of the MIBC. The Moscow Tower has 76 stories and is 990 feet (302 m) high, while the St. Petersburg Tower has 65 stories and stands 843 feet (257 m) tall. Both towers offer fantastic views of the capital city.

Steel Peak Tower

Mercury City Tower

The Mercury City Tower skyscraper is widely known as one of the tallest buildings in Europe. Its height is 1 112 feet (339 m) and it has 75 stories. OKO Tower Complex

Afimall City Shopping Center

The Afimall City Shopping and Entertainment Center is located in Moscow-City’s Central Core. It is divided into 4 zones, each with its own theme – one for every season of the year. The shopping center houses the biggest indoor fountain found worldwide. The height of this watery wonder is 118 feet or 36 meters.

The shopping and entertainment center contains everything one might expect from one of the largest centers of its kind:

The main recreational space is roofed with a giant transparent dome, which is an impressive sight to behold.

Bagration Bridge

Bagration Bridge with its upper and lower galleries has a shopping center all of its own and was the first structure to be built as part of the Moscow-City business district. Its lower gallery is a shopping arcade and its upper gallery is an open-air viewing platform with a spectacular view of the MIBC and the Moskva River. The hall of the bridge houses the 23 foot tall sculpture called “Tree of Life”. Having gone through the bridge via either one of its two galleries, a pedestrian would find themselves standing right on the Kutuzovsky Prospekt.

Expocentre Fairgrounds

The Expocentre Fairgrounds exhibition venue is located at the very heart of the capital. The first exhibition held at the Expocentre happened all the way back in 1959, much earlier than the MIBC was erected. Today it is the venue of many interesting events.

Exhibitions with very diverse themes are regularly held at this complex. An up-to-date schedule can be found on the official webpage of the Expocentre. The events can be free or fixed-price entry, depending on their type.

Located in Moscow City, 5.5 km from Red Square, Russia Tower will be a mixed-use , super-dense vertical city for 25,000 people, with offices , a hotel , shopping and apartments with private gardens. Based on a highly efficient geometry derived from a triangular plan with an open ‘green’ spine, the building’s primary structure comprises three ‘arms’ that taper as they rise. They create a slender pyramidal form that achieves the maximum stability with the minimum structure and allows the most effective distribution of space. The higher floors containing residential and hotel accommodation are designed as a series of modular units that can be configured individually. Apartments benefit from fresh air, natural light, double- or triple-height volumes and access to sky gardens. At the summit, a public viewing deck with cafes and bars creates a magnetic new attraction for visitors and residents, while an ice-rink and shops add vitality to life at street level.

The environmental strategy harnesses a range of passive techniques and controls. Strategically, mixed-use offers a strong starting point, allowing energy balance throughout the day as people move between office and home.

Structurally, the tower’s slender profile creates shallow floor plates that maximize daylight penetration and increase the potential for natural ventilation. The triple-glazed, high-performance facade reduces heat loss; photovoltaics supply the building’s energy needs and feed electricity back into the city grid; energy recycling reduces heating demand by 20 percent, and snow and rainwater harvesting is expected to cut fresh water consumption for toilets by a third. Moscow City Council Buys Haddock Building To Save Money On New Police Station Project

Moscow City Council has approved a plan to purchase the Haddock Building to save money on the project for a new police station.

Council on Monday night voted to buy the building near the federal building for 875,000 dollars.  Gritman Medical Park LLC will sell the 9,000 square foot building on Washington Street to the city.

The building will be renovated for city office space.  Buying and renovating the building is expected to cost 1.3 million dollars.  That’s 200,000 dollars less than what the City of Moscow was going to spend to renovate the current police station into space for municipal offices.

Moscow voters approved a 9.64 million dollar bond in May of last year to build a new police station on the South end of town.  That plan included 1.5 million dollars to renovate the old police station into city offices.

The new plan will also allow the city to sell the old police station to produce additional project savings.

44m Benetti motor yacht Blue Vision sold

The 43.6-metre motor yacht Blue Vision has been sold with Jonathan Barbe at Edmiston representing the seller and Justin Nystedt from Denison Yachting representing the buyer.

Constructed in GRP by Italian yard Benetti and delivered in 2007, she is one of 17 Benetti Vision models. Her exterior design is by Stefano Righini and naval architecture by Riccardo Tufforelli. Blue Vision 's interior was given a "complete makeover" by Alessandro Pulina in 2016.

The broker said that in 2022, she finished an extensive refit that included a repaint of her "distinguished navy-blue hull" and she completed her 15-year survey, adding that standout amenities include a Jacuzzi located on the sundeck alongside ample comfortable seating and panoramic ocean views.

Blue Vision ’s interiors feature a large main saloon with “silky and lush” woodwork beneath three sofas and two dedicated armchairs. She also boasts a cocktail bar lounge on the upper deck, surrounded by comfortable seating.

Accommodation is for "ten + two" guests in five cabins comprising a main-deck master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins, with additional Pullman berths. Crew quarters house a team of nine.

Powered by Caterpillar diesel engines, the 456GT yacht has a top speed of 14 knots while a range of 2,500 nautical miles is possible at 12 knots.

Lying in Italy, Blue Vision was last asking €9,950,000.
