PowerBoat Television
It looks like we don't have any summaries for this title yet. Be the first to contribute.
- Highlighting everything about the power-boating world from: feature destinations to cruising suggestions to vacation ideas; to new and used boat reviews; to DIY tips and projects. PowerBoat TV covers it all whether it be about how different motors push an 11-foot RIB or how to winterize your engine or showing you an unseen part of North America. The primary focus of every episode, and the longest segments, are the feature destinations. These have included: cruises on sport yachts through the Welland Canal or in the Thousand Islands; riding Sea-Doos down the Colorado river or WaveRunners across Lake Nipissing; houseboating the middle of the Canadian prairies in Saskatchewan or in the rugged solitude of Lake of the Woods; and a behind-the-scenes look at Mercury's historical testing ground in central Florida, the private and legendary Lake X! While not a stuck to a rigid formula, most episodes follow a breakdown of: Feature (part 1), new boat review, used boat review and/or DIY project, and Feature (part 2). Though some episodes veer from this to have additional feature segments. There have been a variety of hosts in the three decades the shows has aired. Started by Ted Rankine in 1990, hosts have included Matt Spencer, Mike Gridley, Steven J. Bull, Jon Blaicher and Drew McMillin. Each have brought their own experiences and skillset, but the one thing they have in common is a love for all things boating. The primary shooting format, though additional cameras are sometimes used, is single-camera with a reality/travel style.

2024 Texas Open live stream, watch online, TV schedule, channel, tee times, golf coverage, radio
The pga tour stays in texas this week for one last tune up before the masters.
Just four rounds stand between players and the first major championship of the season. The 2024 Texas Open will serve as the final tune up for some of the world's best as they search for form ahead of the Masters. While many of the top names in the field have already booked their trips to Augusta National, the Texas Open will grant one final spot in the field should a winner without an invitation emerge.
Not needing to worry about this is world No. 2 Rory McIlroy, who has experienced a somewhat tumultuous season up to this point. A bit more erratic with his long game than what we are used to, McIlroy is without a top-10 finish on the PGA Tour and has struggled to string four rounds together. McIlroy hopes to find whatever this missing link may be at TPC San Antonio, where he last played in 2022. McIlroy missed the cut that week, but it served as a good preparation; he finished runner-up at the Masters a week later.
Also factoring in Masters past are champions such as Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama, who are heading in opposite directions in terms of form. Matsuyama, a winner at the Genesis Invitational, looks much like the man who donned the green jacket in 2021. Spieth, meanwhile, has struggled with consistency. Fresh off back-to-back missed cuts at the Players Championship and Valspar Championship, Spieth is in need of some strong play leading into the Masters.
Collin Morikawa finds himself in a similar position with cold iron play, while players such as Max Homa, Matt FItzpatrick Ludvig Aberg, Tommy Fleetwood and Brian Harman appear keen on entering the winner's circle.

Not in the path of totality? You can still watch Monday’s total solar eclipse online
AP Texas and Oklahoma chief photographer Julio Cortez, talks about the best tips and tricks to get the perfect shot during upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. (AP Video/Shelby Lum)

On April 8, 2024, spectators who aren’t near the path of totality or who get cloudy weather on eclipse day can still catch the total solar eclipse, with NASA, science centers and media organizations planning to stream live coverage online from different locations along the path. If you’re nowhere near the path of totality or if clouds spoil your view, you can still catch the total solar eclipse online.
Weather permitting , tens of millions who live along a narrow stretch from Mexico’s Pacific coast to eastern Canada can just look skyward Monday to glimpse day turn to twilight when the moon blots out the sun.
Eclipse glasses are a must to prevent eye damage . The only time it’s safe to ditch protective glasses is during totality, or the few minutes of complete darkness.
Here are some alternatives if you’re clouded out during the eclipse or if you can’t travel to the path:
NASA goes live from different eclipse cities
NASA is offering several hours of streaming online and on NASA TV starting at 1 p.m. EDT from several cities along the totality path. The space agency will show telescope views of the sun and there will be appearances by scientists and space station astronauts. During the eclipse, small rockets will blast off from Wallops Island, Virginia, with science instruments into the electrically charged portion of the atmosphere near the edge of space known as the ionosphere.
AP hosts live show from totality path
Associated Press journalists will fan out along the path of totality to bring live coverage of watch parties and festivities. The AP livestream will start at 10 a.m. EDT with views from Mazatlán, Mexico, and other locations. Commentary will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT featuring interviews with organizers, scientists and live views from along the path.
Telescopes and experiments focus on the sun
The Exploratorium museum will feature live telescope images of the sun from Junction, Texas, and Torreón, Mexico. Researchers and students from the University of Maine will launch high-altitude balloons in an experiment that will be livestreamed from the stratosphere. Time and Date will show the sun from different telescope feeds. Slooh will broadcast from Texas and will have a network of partner telescopes along the path.
The Associated Press Health and Science Department receives support from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Science and Educational Media Group. The AP is solely responsible for all content.

Michael Keaton recalls the initial reaction that comic book fans had when he was chosen to portray Batman in the 1989 Tim Burton -directed film.
Until then, Batman had been a character on a campy television series. However, Batman would mark a before and after for the superhero movie genre.
“When they said ‘We’re thinking of doing Batman,’ I said, ‘Wait, you’re thinking of making a movie about Batman?’,” Keaton said in an interview with GQ .

Keaton played the titular role in the 1989 film and would reprise the Bruce Wayne character in 1992’s Batman Returns . More than 30 years later, the actor sported the Dark Knight suit once again for The Flash , in the DC film that brought the multiverse together.
The original Batman film made over $411.6M worldwide on an estimated budget of $48M. Samm Hamm and Warren Skaaren wrote the script, while Burton directed the superhero film.
Keaton shared credits with Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger, Robert Wuhl, Pat Hingle, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Gough, Jack Palance, among others.
Batman Returns saw the addition of actors like Danny DeVito as The Penguin, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman and Christopher Walken as Max Schreck.

Mauricio Umansky Reveals Living with Kyle Amid Separation Is "Really Intense and Sad"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband explained what it's been like to cohabitate with his estranged wife, Kyle Richards.
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky continue to navigate their lives amid an ongoing separation in the public eye.

During an April 1 Amazon Live stream , Kyle revealed she and her estranged spouse were no longer in couples therapy (more on that below). More recently, Mauricio shared new details about how he and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member were doing while still living together in their Encino, California, home.
Mauricio Umansky opens up about living with Kyle Richards amid separation
On a recent episode of Buying Beverly Hills , Mauricio opened up about his living situation with his estranged wife. "It's really intense and sad and hard. She's taken over the entire top floor. I'm still living in the bedroom," shared of their living conditions as they continue to cohabitate.
Kyle Richards Shares Big News on Her and Mauricio's Separation Status: "To Be Honest..."
He added: "If there is any chance of reconciling, I feel like I'm gonna have to move out to explore, 'Do I miss her? Do I not miss her? Is it time for her to move on with life?'"
Do Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky still live together?
As recently as March 2024, they were. Kyle, however, has previously stated that she's not sure her and Mauricio's living arrangement is "sustainable."
"We were never fighters, we're not a toxic couple, so we've been able to manage that so far. It's gonna go one way or the other, you know? We're either going to wake up and be like, 'Oh my gosh! We could actually fix this,' or it's going to be divorce," Kyle told ET in February. "I mean, I just don't know how sustainable living under the same roof as friends and as a family can last. I don't know how that can last."
Like Kyle said on the reunion, should the living arrangement not work anymore , that's when divorce would really be on the table. As she added in the same interview, "[Divorce] would be when we can no longer do what we're doing right now."

Where Kyle and Kathy Stand After RHOBH Reunion and the Drama Between Their Husbands
Why are Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky no longer in couples therapy?
During the aforementioned Amazon Live stream, a fan asked Kyle how she and Mauricio were doing in couples therapy . The RHOBH mom then revealed: they were were taking a break.
"We haven’t been in therapy in a while, to be honest," Kyle replied. "We’re just taking a break from that, [but] we get along very well and we’re really good friends."
Why Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Separated
As RHOBH f ans are aware, Kyle confirmed her separation from Mauricio after 27 years of marriage in October 2023 while Season 13 was airing during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen . During Part 3 of the Season 13 reunion, Kyle shared what led to her ultimately deciding to part ways with the real estate agent.
"With any marriage, there's issues that you have, and they come up and you get busy. You've got kids — my kids were little — I'm working, I'm being a mommy, and doing all that, [so, the issues] get put aside and will come up again," Kyle said during Part 3 of the Season 13 reunion. "Some of the issues never went away. They were never worked on. And then something, like I said in my interview, happened where I did lose my trust."
Kyle noted she wasn't able to move past the issue (which she didn't explicitly talk about). “I care about my family first, and I really did try, and then when I couldn’t, the kind of things that I was, I don’t want to say putting up with, just became more apparent to me, I guess I couldn’t do that anymore and I finally just had a breaking point," she continued.
