Join us for a day out at sea on the calm Caribbean waters aboard our modern and comfortable catamaran.   As we take off, we’ll cast out two fishing lines to see what we can catch during the day. We’ll sail along the coast for an hour and a half towards the second largest coral reef in the world. We’ll anchor down and have the opportunity to snorkel and swim with the vibrant fish and around the beautiful reef under the supervision of our expert instructors.    We’ll dine on board with option of lobster or New York steak fresh off the grill with a large variety of side dishes and drinks from our full bar.    After our exquisite lunch, we’ll sail back to port as you take in the beautiful views as you relax under the sun.

1) Captain Quickie (quote)

Captain Quickie here. The ONLY boat that goes to Tulum and back in the same day is Raiatea. There are 2 tours that operate. Blue Magic is loaded with about 85 people aboard (licensed for up to 120 people). and sails down to Tulum. Anchors in front of the ruins, everybody does a snorkel stop and then returns to the boat for lunch. After lunch, everybody proceeds to taxi down to the beach and are driven to the Ruins for a guided tour and return via van to their hotels.

Local Quickies (limited to 30 people MAX) starts via van. Option 1 includes 2 snorkel stops at a natural aquarium known as Yal-Ku and Turtle Bay (guarenteed you see real un detained natural swimming sea turtles. Then you proceed by van to the jungle to refresh and remove salt water by jumping into a fresh water cenote.

Upon arrival to Tulum beach , you then board the vessel that was just emptied to havve lunch and enjoy an open bar of beer, national liquor and refreshments with the view of the Majestic Tulum ruins in your view. After lunch, the crew releases the mooring, raise sails and return to Puerto Aventuras all the while fishing up the beautiful Caribbean coast.

We had a group of 23 on the Catamaya. we had a blast everybody loved it was glad they did it!

What did they serve on the Catamaya and where did you sail

You had a choice of Steak, Lobster or Chicken. They had pasta and salad. Even fulfilled a request for some hot salsa. Full open bar and music. We sailed north of PA.The group was excited to see a turtle while snorkeling. It actually followed my husband and wouldn't leave his side! We have seen many more in Akumal. The staff was VERY attentive. It was my daughter's wedding and a great group excursion!
