The Eastern Yacht Club, established in 1956, is located at the mouth of Middle River just off the Chesapeake Bay in Baltimore County, Maryland.   There are 20 spacious acres at our club with plenty of parking and slips to accommodate 72 boats. ​

Our club house facilities can host parties,weddings and events for up to 200 guests.

Our members and their guests enjoy exclusive use of the “Tiki Bar” as well as a private beach which is complete with tables and umbrellas.

Parking for slip holders is located adjacent to the piers and beach area.   We have a Gazebo near the water’s edge where we hold wedding ceremonies. EYC partners with multiple caterer available to help plan the menu for weddings and other affairs at EYC.

Maryland Yacht Club

Play in the heart of downtown baltimore, marina info.

Maryland Yacht Club is conveniently located at the entrance to Rock Creek and provides boaters with easy access to great destinations in the Upper Chesapeake Bay including Baltimore, Rock Hall and more. Boaters will enjoy the lively and fun community at the Yacht Club, which is known for its fun social events and great raft ups throughout the season. Guests will also have access to the many amenities on-site, including a pool overlooking the Patapsco River, a small tidal sand beach, and a picnic pavilion. The Maryland Yacht Club boasts well protected slips with deep water and is known as a convenient "hurricane hole" near Baltimore. In addition to its safe haven status, it's also a secure location in and out of the water. The entire facility is gated and secure, so boaters can rest assured that their property will be protected. Last, but not least, the Maryland Yacht Club has great rates for both gas and diesel! Memberships to the Yacht Club are also available.

Transient Rates :Fees for 7-day max are $2.00 per foot per day plus nightly electric (1x30 - $10/night; 2x30 - $20/night; 1x50 $15/night)Rates for long term dockage (one-month minimum) are also available.Visiting boats from yacht clubs of CBYCA and Yacht Clubs of Maryland are welcome at Maryland Yacht Club at discounted rates, see list on website.

CANCELLATION POLICY: This marina has a 48 hour cancellation policy for all standard stays. In the event that you need to cancel within the 48 hour window, you may be issued a credit for Maryland Yacht Club towards a future stay, at the discretion of the dockmaster. There will be no exceptions for cancellations inside of these periods due to weather or boat issues. If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact the marina directly or your booking service. SPECIAL EVENT AND HOLIDAY CANCELLATION POLICY: This marina has a 7 day cancellation policy for all holidays and special events and holidays including, but not limited to, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, etc. In the event that you need to cancel within the 7 day window, you may be issued a credit for Maryalnd Yacht Club towards a future stay, at the discretion of the dockmaster. Proper Courtesy at Yacht Clubs

• The yacht club community sets high standards of behavior and works hard to meet them because our clubs, our boats, and the waterfront are a haven where we can relax in fun and friendship.
• We join these clubs and often volunteer for projects, offices, and committees because of the positive and enjoyable results. Success in our clubs has been achieved for many generations based on a strong foundation of courtesy and respect to all people, all the time.
• Divisive displays, declarations, or actions are unacceptable. Rude, obnoxious, or aggressive behavior is unacceptable.
• Extra consideration of others taken around piers and slips because of being in "close quarters". After 11 PM, noise is kept to a minimum.
• Other than commercial businesses that have "yacht club" in their names or seek to provide similar services and amenities, yacht clubs are non-profit member owned and operated organizations of people working together and combining resources for the common benefit of members and guests.
• For the majority of clubs in YCM and around the Bay, the person serving or cooking your dinner is most likely a member, spouse, or friend of a member who is doing their best for the good of the club and occasion. Similarly, professional staff or caterers you may encounter are serving you on behalf of the host club and its members.
• If you have a problem at a club with a member, a volunteer, the professional staff, or a caterer, the proper action is to talk to the senior club officer present . That officer will then take it up with the necessary people and get back to you. Talking to the person in charge of an event is also proper if your issue is event related. When in doubt, find a club officer.
• To make ends meet, clubs routinely hold fund raising events or host events for other groups and organizations, but make no mistake, when you visit a yacht club or attend an event held at a yacht club, you are a guest, not a customer . Those who do not see or accept the difference need to go elsewhere.

The Maryland Model Yacht Club is a fun group of enthusiastic sailors (both men and women of all ages!) from the Tri-state area. We actively race several classes of radio controlled sailboats and members range from novice to several national champions. We invite you to come join the fun.

Club Development Officer John Ebell extended an open invitation to current MMYC club members and anybody interested in giving RC sailing a try to a Fun Sail Day on 13 July at Melford Pond and members and newcomers enthusiastically attended.  Nine skippers participated including newcomers Richard, David and Norm each with sparkling new DF65 boats.  Winds were sometimes light and variable, but that didn’t seem to hinder anybody from enjoying a beautiful day and welcome practice stick time.  All in all, a fun day and definitely something everybody will happily attend again!

  All are welcome to come and race but non-member scores are not considered in club season standings.
