Good Use of Time & Money
It was an enjoyable cruise. Well worth the time and money. Make sure you sit on the right side of boat when you are facing the front of it. Most of the narrative is pointing out things of interest on that side of the boat. Enjoy the journey.
We visited Savannah during our US road trip. Thought this would be a bit of an experience, and it was. The boat is beautiful, the cruise is very relaxed and casual. The staff are all wonderful, and the food is very good. The live entertainment was exceptional, and he absolutely made the whole experience. Love him, he engaged the crowd, had amazing stories, and is an absolute musical talent with a great repetoir. We did go in early spring and even though it had been a hot day, the evening can get a little cold. Take a warm coat or jacket if you're going to spend some time outside enjoying the scenery.
Truly a great experience. The ship was clean and the crew was very friendly. The commentator knew extensively about Georgia’s history and I walked away gaining knowledge about the area that I didn’t know. They sold drinks and some food. Tip be the first on the ship and go straight to the bar to get water, drinks, food, etc because the line gets very long once everyone boards.
We did this cruise on a Monday afternoon. The food was great. It was the best fried chicken I have ever had! The tour was very informative and I got a lot of great pics. I would definitely do this again.
It was cold and windy the day we had. It was hard to hear the information over the speakers when they were sharing the history . The lines were very long to get drinks. It was about 2 hours long and we went down to the fort and then came back. I can say I have done it so I would not do it again. I was underwhelmed.
This was definitely not value for money, not as advertised, the staff uniforms looked like they had not seen a washing machine or iron in years, dirty stained and crumpled. The food was very disappointing, cold watery mashed potato’s , cheese hot and sweaty, the crackers soft and stale. The staff were unhelpful, the food manger could not really care they were serving food that was inedible. Definitely would not recommend anyone taking a trip where food was included as all tables around us had food that could not be eaten due to reasons above.

The tour guide was wonderful. He was informative, funny and easy to listen to. The actual sites from the river were few and far between.
nice ferry ride but not that much to see - some people in our party actually fell asleep, so definitely not worth the cost.
