Description

This Laser top cover will completely enclose your Laser deck, keeping your boat clean and protected from the elements. We offer this cover in three different fabric choices depending on your needs; the details of each fabric can be found below in the dropdown table below. This laser cover will be waterproof, resist mildew, UV damage, and chafe!

• The cover fits below the rub rail of the hull with 1/4 inch elastic cord sewn into the hem to ensure a snug fit
• Waterproof, UV and chafe resistant 
• Click the table below for additional information on the three different fabric options
• Cover comes standard with 8 webbing loops allowing you to customize your tie down method
• Our Laser top cover is compatible with any of our Laser hull covers which together will completely enclose your boat
• If you are planning to store your spars on deck under the cover you should get our PRO Laser Cover, which is designed for the spars to be on deck. The Laser top cover is not desinged to accommodate the spars

You can take the cover off the Laser and compete equally with the other Lasers. But back in the dinghy park you will be the best dressed dinghy, full stop (period). Unless of course someone has this cover and a bow tie. Bottom line: I bought one and if I ever need another boat cover I know who I will buy it from. Fabric: I don’t know the weight but it’s thick, plenty thick enough for a quality boat cover Construction: Stitching is doubled and there were no loose ends Fit: Perfect, made to measure. It has “double breasted” overlap for the rudder gudgeon, plus a waist draw-string *and* 3 belly straps Delivery: 4 days from Canada to Maryland

As a Laser Performance authorised dealer we serve lots of Laser sailors every week, supplying class legal parts direct to their doorstep.

One part of our business which isn't supplied by Laser Performance are our boat and dinghy covers. Made in the UK using top quality materials and with the end user in mind our covers are very popular.

Breathable vs PVC

Should you choose a breathable Laser cover, or a simple PVC Laser cover?

Breathable is going to give your boat the best treatment through a range of conditions. Our breathable covers are made from a material which is a mixture of polyester and cotton. In the wetter conditions the cotton within the boat cover expands to help keep the water out. As the cover dries the cotton shrinks again leaving plenty of room for the air to get in and circulate around your boat.

A standard PVC cover won't allow your boat to breath, but could provide essential protection from the winter elements.

I use this tape to repair waterproof jackets and it is as strong and waterproof as many other alternatives and much cheaper :)

This cover fits easily over the boat with masts and boom placed on a set of spar holders. There is a neat velco opening to bring out a bowline to secure to the trolley.

A new innovation surprise is having clips on both sides of the cover. You can unclip from whichever side you are on.

Sailing Chandlery have listened to feedback from a previous purchase of the older design. Remains to be seen how it weathers, how breathable and water-proof it all is, but looking v smart from new.

Probably the most comfortable visor I’ve worn. I put it to the test in Dubai last week, it never budged, and wasn’t too tight or hot. The little clip gives added reassurance that you won’t loose it. I’m very pleased with the purchase.

There’s a reason I keep on buying these. My last pair lasted 4 years of use, sailing almost every weekend. They last and when you consider the cost and use, it probably works out to be the equivalent of buying a really cheap pair once every 6-12 months. Why buy twice? Very comfortable and supportive.

What more can be said, easy to fit and do the job

As expected at a good price with fast delivery

This is a top quality rope, a bit stiffer on hands than polyester braind on braid but much lighter for the same breaking load, I bought it for sheets on a light air sail. It is perfect for the job.

Massive thanks to Andrew and team. The boat was immaculate, stiff hull and package of new kit. Asked whether we could collect the boat between Christmas and New Year en-route to an event and the Sailing Chandlery team couldn’t have done more to help. Thank you.

Product Description

The Laser II sailboat Top Cover will completely enclose your Laser II deck, protecting it from the elements. Our Laser II cover fits snugly below the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water. The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and tie down points about every three feet around the cover. The cover comes with 4 webbing loops down the center line over the cockpit. These webbing loops are provided as attachment points so you can tent the cover up in the middle and help avoid puddling.

This sailboat cover is compatible with our Laser II Hull Cover if you want to completely enclose your boat. 

You can add straps and/or reflective tape in the upgrade menu found above.  

We offer this cover in three different fabric types, look over the fabrics in the drop down chart below.

Nice fit, room for spars on deck

Bought the L2 cover to use on my Expedition 14.5 First week review is it is great. The strap upgrade is a good value. Second SLOSAILS cover for me, have one for my F5 too. Unknown on 2nd Apr 2022
