60 Fly

Absolute 60 FLY, a variety of possibilities is now ready for you. The evolution of our Flybridge range enshrined in a yacht, to be lived and discovered.

Absolute 60 FLY The Absolute Prisma

absolute yacht 60 fly

A new dimension of nautical living, 60 FLY – The Absolute Prisma – expresses all the innovation of our shipyard by implementing revolutionary solutions for a boat of this size.

absolute yacht 60 fly

The design is dynamic and captivating, with external lines enriched by elegant transparencies thanks to the new glazed balustrades; large windows surround the main deck, creating exclusive contrasts and giving the interiors unparalleled luminosity.

The aft cockpit is incredibly spacious and comfortable, does not include fixed structural elements, and can be furnished according to the actual use. You can simply choose between the various available configurations the one that most suits your onboard lifestyle and create spaces dedicated to the landscape, sociability, family, friends, and total freedom.

Thanks to two wide side staircases, it is possible to easily access a very large platform: close to the water and perfect to enjoy the sea. Because of the generous dimensions, there is enough room for a fixed section that offers a comfortable entrance to the crew cabin through a pantograph opening concealed in the transom.

absolute yacht 60 fly

A versatile and multifaceted yacht that actually offers multiple versions of herself, thanks to different configurations to furnish cockpit and salon, according to the actual use and for an ideal liveability in any occasion.

The interiors are designed with comfort in mind, furnished with elegance and embellished with the use of fine materials. Salon, galley and cockpit are adjacent and connected by a continuous design. The perceived sensation is of a large space without boundaries, enriched by modern lighting and entertainment systems, ergonomic air conditioning system and helm stations designed in detail, to be technologically advanced, comfortable and functional all at the same time. Absolute has always devoted particular attention to technological innovation, and the 60 FLY is proposed to the market with an equipment of the latest generation.

60 FLY interni 2

Below deck, you will find the owner’s quarter waiting for you: a full beam cabin without equals, with comfortable internal heights, exclusive furnishings and high-quality finishes. A refined and quiet environment, dedicated to absolute comfort and privacy, with a large walk-in closet, a sea view vanity and large side windows to feel totally immersed in nature. The real revolution? The owner’s quarter is at the bow, in a reserved area on a middle level between the main and lower decks, separated and far apart from any disturbances for the best experience on board.

The VIP cabin is, in all respects, comparable to a master cabin; queen size bed and plenty of space both for storage and for living, with en-suite bathroom with separate shower and elegant marble counters. The third cabin is equipped with two single beds, noteworthy are both the floor without steps and the ceiling height, comparable to the other cabins, not to mention a large window.

Finally, the crew cabin is directly accessible from a pantograph door camouflaged in the transom.

New Absolute 60 Fly Sea Trial: the innovative content of this yacht is amazing

The innovative spirit that drives Absolute Yachts never sleeps. Less than a year has passed since the presentation of the Navetta 64 – a boat that has literally shaken up the market with its stern beach club – and now the shipyard plays a new trump card with the new Absolute 60 Fly.

The new model brings no less than four innovations, once again changing the rules of a market that now seems increasingly resigned to chasing the irrepressible impetus that animates all the novelties from the Podenzano-based boatyard.

The terraced cockpit of the Absolute 60 Fly

Did you ever think that all flybridges have more or less the same aft cockpit design? It’s also a bit of a misconception because you sit at the table looking at the inside of the boat instead of the ever-changing panorama offered by the sea.

Well, from today, thanks to a simple yet effective idea, the new 60 Fly by Absolute Yachts definitively solves this problem.

cockpit

In case you need more privacy when moored in the port, a system of retractable electric curtains, of the “see-through” type, appears in a fraction of a second, removing you from the prying eyes of passers-by, who, needless to say, will stop to admire the beauty of this new boat.

Master Cabin

Absolute 60 Fly master cabin

Absolute, instead, has upset the architecture of the interior spaces and brought the Master Cabin back to the bow side without sacrificing the space to which the owner’s cabin is rightly entitled. This magic was made possible by lengthy 3D modelling studies which, thanks to the innovative bow line and the positioning of the head forward, make it possible to free up a larger space that is completely imperceptible from the outside.

Absolute-60-Fly-master-Cabin

At the foot of the owner’s bed, crowning the two side corridors, are two generous pieces of furniture while, on the left, is the head (a real room), which offers an extraordinary linear development and obviously houses a separate double shower box.

But that’s not all because, curious as ever, I walk around the perimeter of the bed and discover a door which, once opened, reveals the existence of a large walk-in wardrobe , a real touch of genius on the part of the designer who, by inserting it in a negative quota, gives an extra room to this cabin without sacrificing a single centimetre of space and design.

The side-decks of Absolute 60 Fly

Absolute-Yachts-navigation

This is incredible if you think that from the side views you can’t see them at all.

The covered side-deck is a refinement usually reserved for superyachts and, until now, was achieved by using side supports which, apart from making it necessary to be a tightrope walker to bring the transom to the bow (unless you are the extensible man from the fantastic 4), certainly made the side view of the boat less appealing.

The silence-giving Hard Top

What if I told you that with the new Absolute 60 Fly you can stay at anchor without the annoying hum of the generato r? Of course we’ll have to do without air conditioning, but who really needs it at anchor?

Absolute Yachts has created a technologically advanced system which, thanks to the solar panels positioned on the Hard Top, delivers around 1.5 kW of current. This is more than enough power to run all the on-board systems, including the refrigerator, without affecting the capacity of the on-board batteries. A software control centre, accessible from the many on-board displays, also allows you to monitor all the power absorbed, making it easy to manage your energy balance.

A useful and eco-friendly innovation, designed for those who love enjoy the sea with comfort and, above all, silent.

How the new Absolute 60 Fly is made

Absolute-60-Fly-VIP-cabin

The space engineering is unparalleled. This 18.66-metre yacht manages to offer the surfaces and volumes that are usually only found on much larger yachts and, just for the record, we are referring to yachts of at least 70 feet in length.

An example? The VIP cabin is actually a second Master. It also has a king-size bed, a private head with a separate shower and a large window at the head of the cabin. A third cabin, with twin beds and a private bathroom, completes the lower deck sleeping area.

Absolute-60-Fly-bow

On the upper deck, the fly area actually creates a huge second open-air salon that looks out over the surrounding landscape without any boundaries. This is an area for living and featuring a galley, dining area and relaxation area, with elegant design lines , colour contrasts and pleasant finishes. This is also where the second driving console is located, also at a high technological level, surrounded by another large sundeck.

main deck

A privileged area where you can listen to music and chat in complete privacy, day and night.

The Main Deck starts from the stern dinette and develops, without steps or interruptions, along the entire length of the boat.

A rich and refined environment where the shipyard is able to offer multiple furnishing configurations , able to satisfy practically all needs.

Absolute 60 Fly Sea Trial

Sailing on board the Absolute 60 Fly, especially when driven from the Fly, is pure pleasure. The hull cuts through the waves without apparent effort and the boat sails stably, even at idle, at 5 knots.

As we accelerate, the speed gradually increases as the boat goes from displacement to planing, which, confirming the excellent hull features, occurs at a speed of just 12.2 knots, while the Absolute 60 Fly, unharmed by any bow lifting phenomenon, simply continues to sail.

The IPS push (or rather “pulls”) powerfully and the boat reaches 20/22 knots in the blink of an eye . At this speed, the fuel consumption is just 9 l/nm, which is very little for a boat of this size.

Absolute-60-Fly-running

I decide to push the throttles all ahead and, instantly, the speed indicator starts to rise again. Once we’ve reached the maximum speed, I try to fine tune it and get just under 30 knots, which is a really interesting speed for a yacht like this.

There are many possible cruising speeds, which can be adjusted according to our haste and sea conditions. They range from 14/15 knots , which allows you to tackle rough seas with ease, to 24/25 for faster transfers. In any case, at any speed, the magic of the IPS allows constant consumption between 9 and 10 l/nm.

Then, even though I know I’m not on a speedboat, I risk a series of tight turns, all performed at maximum speed and …. and nothing, the Absolute 60 Fly doesn’t bend, she tilts and remains on an imaginary track, stable and safe.

A simply amazing hull.

Absolute Yachts Debuts 60 Fly

  • By Victor Tan
  • Updated: September 16, 2021

Absolute 60 Fly

The Absolute Yachts 60 Fly adds to the Italian builder’s eight-model flybridge series, which ranges from 47 feet to 72 feet length overall. The 60 Fly carries a fair bit of beam forward, enhancing interior volume and allowing space for a full-beam master stateroom at the bow. In addition to a walk-in closet, this space has a vanity and hullside windows offering sea views. A VIP stateroom with an en suite head is amidships and to starboard. A third guest stateroom is to port with twin berths. The crew cabin is aft with twin berths.

Unobstructed ocean views are the core of the 60 Fly’s design, with cut-down bulwarks amidships and nearly 360 degrees of glass in the vessel’s superstructure. The salon has a U-shaped settee to port, while aft and to starboard is a U-shaped dining area. Across from the dining area, to port, is an L-shaped galley with direct access to the cockpit via sliding doors. With the sliding doors open, the salon and cockpit are an end-to-end entertainment space.

Owners can personalize the cockpit with modular furniture. One layout has a dining table with six chairs protected by the flybridge overhang. Prefer lounge-style or loose chairs? They’re options.

Absolute 60 Fly

There is also a foredeck bench seat against the house, as well as an adjustable backrest on the seating forward of it, using part of the sun pad to create a second bench seat. Or slide the backrest to optimize the sun-pad space.

The 60 Fly has upper and lower helm stations, each equipped with dual helm seats and Garmin electronics.

Power is twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS950s. Projected performance data was not available at press time. The 60 Fly’s hardtop can be equipped with solar panels to run ship’s systems in silence.

Look for the Absolute Yachts 60 Fly to debut this fall.

EVOLUTION THROUGH OUR EYES Born to reveal new and endless possibilities, the 60 FLY – The Absolute Prisma is a revolutionary model, uniquely built with a very high level of innovation for a yacht of this size.

Thanks to new glazed parapets balustrades, the external lines are enriched by elegant, transparent barriers which offer breathtaking views both from the flybridge and the aft cockpit. In a new progression of our cockpit design, it does not include fixed elements or furniture, and can be furnished according to the owner’s needs. Moreover, thanks to two convenient side stairwells, the large swim platform is easily accessed for you to enjoy right at the water’s edge. Adjacent to the platform, a fixed corridor offers direct access to the crew cabin.

This boat represents an incredible evolution both for our shipyard and the shipowner, offering high versatility of use and unparalleled livability in all areas, with no compromises.

A NEW WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES At one with the environment and highly enjoyable, the flybridge area on the upper deck serves as a second outdoor living room ideal to sunbathe, enjoy a cocktail, and navigate while socializing. The galley, dining, and relaxation zones, as well as the highly technological helm station, offer extreme livability, elegant lines, beautiful color contrasts, and lovely finishes. The bow area is also designed for maximum versatility thanks to a sunbathing zone and a comfortable sofa with a table. This is the perfect spot to listen to music, socialize, and enjoy some privacy; all in one, day and night.

State-of-the-art technology takes the form of modern and fully-equipped dashboards with easy-to-use equipment, always at hand. The helm stations on the main deck and flybridge have double seats and even a third mooring station can be installed astern. The ‘green’ approach of the shipyard is recognizable in the possibility of integrating solar panels in the hard top to achieve a lower environmental impact and excellent levels of autonomy, especially at anchor.

NEW PERSPECTIVES TO BE DISCOVERED The interiors are designed with comfort in mind, are elegantly furnished, and embellished with fine materials. A continuous design links the lounge, galley, and cockpit together. One has a feeling of wide and boundless spaces, enriched by modern lighting, entertainment systems, as well as ergonomic air conditioning.

Even the bow area discloses new perspectives thanks to the creation of a shipowner’s quarter: a full-beam cabin. Raised and with high ceilings, it features exclusive furniture and elegant finishing touches. Its refined and quiet atmosphere enhances comfort and privacy with a large walk-in closet, sea-view vanity, and large side windows to feel surrounded by nature. The VIP cabin has all the characteristics of the master cabin: open, bright, with an en-suite head, and lots of rooms to feel just like at home.

National origin:- Soviet Union Role:- Fighter Interceptor Manufacturer:- Mikoyan-Gurevich Designer:- First flight:- 29th October 1940 Introduction:- 1941 Status:- Retired 1945 Produced:- 1940-1941 Number built:- 3,422 Primary users:- Soviet Air Forces (VVS); Soviet Air Defence Forces (PVO); Soviet Naval Aviation Developed from:- Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-1 Variants:- Mikoyan-Gurevich I-211 Operational history MiG-3s were delivered to frontline fighter regiments beginning in the spring of 1941 and were a handful for pilots accustomed to the lower-performance and docile Polikarpov I-152 and I-153 biplanes and the Polikarpov I-16 monoplane. It remained tricky and demanding to fly even after the extensive improvements made over the MiG-1. Many fighter regiments had not kept pace in training pilots to handle the MiG and the rapid pace of deliveries resulted in many units having more MiGs than trained pilots during the German invasion. By 1 June 1941, 1,029 MIG-3s were on strength, but there were only 494 trained pilots. In contrast to the untrained pilots of the 31st Fighter Regiment, those of the 4th Fighter Regiment were able to claim three German high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft shot down before war broke out in June 1941. However high-altitude combat of this sort was to prove to be uncommon on the Eastern Front where most air-to-air engagements were at altitudes well below 5,000 metres (16,000 ft). At these altitudes the MiG-3 was outclassed by the Bf 109 in all respects, and even by other new Soviet fighters such as the Yakovlev Yak-1. Furthermore, the shortage of ground-attack aircraft in 1941 forced it into that role as well, for which it was totally unsuited. Pilot Alexander E. Shvarev recalled: "The Mig was perfect at altitudes of 4,000 m and above. But at lower altitudes it was, as they say, 'a cow'. That was the first weakness. The second was its armament: weapons failure dogged this aircraft. The third weakness was its gunsights, which were inaccurate: that's why we closed in as much as we could and fired point blank." On 22 June 1941, most MiG-3s and MiG-1s were in the border military districts of the Soviet Union. The Leningrad Military District had 164, 135 were in the Baltic Military District, 233 in the Western Special Military District, 190 in the Kiev Military District and 195 in the Odessa Military District for a total of 917 on hand, of which only 81 were non-operational. An additional 64 MiGs were assigned to Naval Aviation, 38 in the Air Force of the Baltic Fleet and 26 in the Air Force of the Black Sea Fleet. The 4th and 55th Fighter Regiments had most of the MiG-3s assigned to the Odessa Military District and their experiences on the first day of the war may be taken as typical. The 4th, an experienced unit, shot down a Romanian Bristol Blenheim reconnaissance bomber, confirmed by postwar research, and lost one aircraft which crashed into an obstacle on takeoff. The 55th was much less experienced with the MiG-3 and claimed three aircraft shot down, although recent research confirms only one German Henschel Hs 126 was 40% damaged, and suffered three pilots killed and nine aircraft lost. The most unusual case was the pair of MiG-3s dispatched from the 55th on a reconnaissance mission to PloieÅŸti that failed to properly calculate their fuel consumption and both were forced to land when they ran out of fuel. Most of the MiG-3s assigned to the interior military districts were transferred to the PVO where their lack of performance at low altitudes was not so important. On 10 July 299 were assigned to the PVO, the bulk of them belonging to the 6th PVO Corps at Moscow, while only 293 remained with the VVS, and 60 with the Naval Air Forces, a total of only 652 despite deliveries of several hundred aircraft. By 1 October, on the eve of the German offensive towards Moscow codenamed Operation Typhoon, only 257 were assigned to VVS units, 209 to the PVO, and 46 to the Navy, a total of only 512, a decrease of 140 fighters since 10 July, despite deliveries of over a thousand aircraft in the intervening period. By 5 December, the start of the Soviet counter-offensive that drove the Germans back from the gates of Moscow, the Navy had 33 MiGs on hand, the VVS 210, and the PVO 309. This was a total of 552, an increase of only 40 aircraft from 1 October. Over the winter of 1941-42 the Soviets transferred all of the remaining MiG-3s to the Navy and PVO so that on 1 May 1942 none were left on strength with the VVS. By 1 May 1942, Naval Aviation had 37 MiGs on strength, while the PVO had 323 on hand on 10 May. By 1 June 1944, the Navy had transferred all its aircraft to the PVO, which reported only 17 on its own strength, and all of those were gone by 1 January 1945. Undoubtedly more remained in training units and the like, but none were assigned to combat units by then.

Major Russian missile factory goes up in flames after latest Ukrainian drone strike

The aftermath of the Russian missile factory attack

A Russian missile factory has been set on fire after an alleged Ukrainian drone attack, the latest in a string of retaliatory attacks across the border.

The attack happened at the Tomilinsky Electronic Plant in Lyubertsy near Moscow, while the capital's Mayor Serhiy Sobyanin announced on the Telegram messaging app that the Russian air defences stopped another attempted attack. The attack is another major blow to Putin as Ukraine ramps up its drone attacks on aggressor nation Russia. The extent of casualties and damage was not immediately clear. Sobyanin wrote: "Near Lyubertsy, another attempt to fly a drone to Moscow was stopped. There were no injuries or damage. Emergency services are working at the scene. Thanks to the military for not letting us spoil the Day of Knowledge!"

The Ukrainian defence ministry claimed the fire at the missile electronics plant was from a drone, according to a report in Kyiv. "It was the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence operation, it was a success and there will be more", said a source according to Ukrainskaya Pravda.

Ukraine has stepped up its cross-border attacks in recent months, seemingly in retaliation for the ongoing war in Ukraine. Ukraine has not commented on this specific attack and almost never claims public responsibility for such attacks. An attack on May 30, which Ukraine hasn't claimed responsibility for, marked the first time the capital had been hit in a large-scale drone strike since the war began.

Andriy Yusov, a spokesperson for Ukraine's military intelligence, told the Kyiv Post in July that the fact that drones have been able to reach Russia's capital testifies to the fact that the Putin regime is unable to fully control the sky even for the protection of the most important facilities."

Intelligence spokesman Andrey Yusov said of this latest attack: "A workshop producing electronics for missiles is on fire. Why it burns and who made it burn, we do not comment. But the fact is it is burning. And the statements of representatives of the Moscow authorities that they shot down something do not correspond to reality."

Elsewhere in Russia , there was another barrage of kamikaze drone attacks with claims that the nuclear plant town Kurchatov in the Kursk region had been hit. Two UAVs hit an administrative and residential building in Kurchatov, claimed Governor Roman Starovoyt.

He said: "Investigators are on the scene to assess the extent of the damage." He did not specify any damage to the Kursk nuclear power plant in the town. A video showed a large aerial explosion in the moonlight over Pskov in northern Russia, the scene of a devastating attack earlier this week when two Il-76 transport planes were destroyed, and another pair badly damaged. While new satellite images show the devastation on the military airbase, a key hub of Russian paratroopers.
