The 61.8m/202'9" 'RoMa' motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Viareggio SuperYachts is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Newcruise.

From bow to stern, RoMa is brimming with an fantastic array of social and dining areas, both inside and out, making her the ideal yacht for relaxing and entertaining whilst on charter. She is equipped with wheelchair accessibility, movie theatre, elevator and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2010, RoMa offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, four double cabins and one twin cabin. There are 7 beds in total, including 1 king, 4 queen and 2 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained, notably a dedicated library, where you can unwind in seclusion. Elsewhere she boasts a movie theatre, perfect to relax after a long day on the water. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun or elsewhere, you can visit the well-equipped gym so that you can keep up with your fitness routine at sea.

RoMa benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, notably wheelchair-friendly access, making this vessel suitable for all guests. Effortlessly return to your stateroom from any other deck onboard the elevator or elsewhere, guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

RoMa is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles from her 158,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. RoMa features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels.

Onboard RoMa has a large selection of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Principle among these is a Flyboard which is a must for any self-respecting thrill-seeker, prepare for supersize thrills - even beginners will enjoy the thrill of swooping skywards and ‘dolphining’ back into the water. Also there is a waterslide for guests of all ages to enjoy. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. If that isn't enough RoMa also features waverunners, towable toys, scuba diving equipment, a seabob, kayaks and much more. When it comes to Tenders, RoMa has you covered - with two tenders, including a 16.8m/55'1" Anvera Chase Tender.

RoMa is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.

ROMA Yacht for Charter

The 203-foot (62m) luxury superyacht RoMa is beyond impressive. From her comfortable on-deck living areas to her contemporary interior spaces that were inspired by the ocean, RoMA provides the perfect platform for an exceptional charter experience from the moment you embark.

Launched in 2010 by Viareggio Superyachts, RoMA features impeccable design courtesy of famed Norwegian architect Espen Oeino. The yacht’s lavish, modern interior style was created by Katharina Raczek from Newcruise. She conceptualized a pristine color palate of crisp whites enhanced by golds and deep reds with hints of green. The interior décor pays homage to the sea with nuanced touches such as the main salon’s sand-like carpet and the Nautilus sea shell-like laser-cut paneling on the main staircase.

The spacious main salon is ideally suited for relaxing and socializing. The space features seating, a backlit onyx bar and coffee tables. Forward is formal dining for 12 at a beautiful circular table. The main deck also is home to the master stateroom located furthest forward. This elegant space features a king-size bed as well as a pullout sofa. Panoramic windows provide incredible views and natural light. The en-suite bathroom has his-and-hers sinks and a bathtub and a dressing room rounds out the lavish suite. Three additional en-suite staterooms also are found on the main deck. A fifth stateroom is located on the upper deck and the sixth is found below deck for added privacy. Twelve guests are comfortably accommodated on board.

RoMa’s on-board movie theater is a favorite space for guests after a day on the water. The full-beam skylounge features seating and a game table and beautiful nautical-inspired décor. Aft of the skylounge is a large alfresco dining table and built-in lounge seating. This is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor meals.

The sundeck aboard RoMa is a favorite place for guests to spend sun-soaked days. From the loungers and adjustable sunpads to the large pool and bar, what’s not to enjoy? This space also has an air-conditioned gym that offers impressive views as you work out.

RoMa comes with an outstanding inventory of water toys. Easily launched from her beautiful beach club, play with paddleboards, water skis, Jet Skis, Seabobs and snorkeling gear. The crew can set up the enormous waterslide for fast fun. A water golf game will keep everyone on their toys and the Castoldi Jet tender can take guests anywhere they want to go. RoMa is a PADI Superyacht Dive Boat and her onboard scuba instructors ensure total safety for all guests. She also is a RYA Personal Water Craft (PWC) School ensuring that all guests are able to use the Jet Skis and other toys. The yacht’s licensed masseuse/beautician provides a variety of spa treatments for guests. RoMa’s captain is well versed in yoga and meditation and is always willing to share his expertise on these and any other fields.

Description.

RoMa is the first and only yacht licensed as a PADI Superyacht Scuba Diving School, which means she is a legitimate diving school and guests can complete any official PADI course available on board and receive a genuine license which is valid worldwide. She is also a RYA licensed Personal Water Craft Centre, guests who meet the minimum requirements can obtain a provisional license to drive the motorised toys whilst on charter with exception to the Castoldi tender and the T/T RoMa 16.9m (55’ft) Anvera chase boat. RoMa achieved the accomplishment of being the first yacht ever, regardless of the size category, to be placed in all three competitions at a MYBA Charter Show. Notably, the Chief Stewardess won 1st place in the Wine Pairing & Table Presentation competition, the Chef was placed 3rd in the Chef’s competition and the entire crew of RoMa showed their amazing ability to deliver the best entertainment for guests by winning the “All Hands on Deck” competition. Furthermore, RoMa’s crew has also been nominated for the 2019 prestigious “Best Charter Crew Award.” RoMa is 100% child-friendly, wheelchair friendly and her crew is incredibly multilingual. She boasts an elevator for guests which serves all decks, a pool with counter-current jets for those wanting a good work out in the water, a very well equipped gym on the sun deck and an unbeatable array of toys including her exhilarating 27m water-slide which plunges all the way from the sundeck into the water. RoMa is also technically outstanding: she is equipped with DPS (dynamic positioning system) the Captain can stop anywhere without having to use the anchors, thus having no problems in floating completely still even on areas where the launching of anchors is forbidden due to algae meadow protection. Another amazing plus of chartering RoMa is her fantastic 16.9m (55’ft) Anvera chase boat. This amazing T/T RoMa is a small yacht in her own right and features a cabin, salon and bathroom in harmony with her ultramodern exterior. Master Suite: On the desirable Main Deck the entire forward area of the yacht is dedicated to the voluminous Master Suite along with three additional Guest Staterooms. The Master Suite exudes an understated elegance and features a King size bed as well as a pullout sofa for additional flexibility. Panoramic views, a working desk, and a private dressing area compliment this full beam stateroom. Decorated with neutral shades, subtle lighting is used to create a light and airy ambiance. It features a spacious en-suite with a steam/shower room built in beautiful Estremos marble ensuring the ultimate luxury charter experience. King bed: 2m wide Guest Suites: Three Main Deck Guest Staterooms feature en-suite bathrooms as well as a writing desk and separate seating areas. Each of the rooms is swathed in Champagne and cream tones with an alternate theme repeated in the detailing. A fifth Guest Stateroom is located on the Upper Deck, while the Sixth Stateroom is situated on the Lower Deck for those who may enjoy a little more privacy. The single beds in this last cabin can easily convert into a king size bed. There is a drinks fridge and a safe in each stateroom. An elevator services all guest levels. A separate crew elevator for service to all decks. Upper Deck Lounge: A full beam Sky Lounge with coral accented pillows, is nestled in the same familiar soft cream tones as the Main Salon and Guest Staterooms. Strategically place immense chairs and settee, game table and desk round out this spectacular room. The wall panels, made from Papaya tree bark, feature immaculate joinery. An ample rectangular aft deck dining table provides for alfresco dining at is best, with view-through glass windbreaks for added dining comfort. Sun Deck: RoMa offers a spacious Sun Deck complete with numerous chaise lounges, vast adjustable sun pads, and generous pool with jets that are capable of creating a strong current for the ultimate workout. An alfresco bar is situated just aft of the pool. with large Jacuzzi Pool and Bar and generous seating and lounging with sunny or shaded options under the awning and umbrellas. Packed from bow to stern with a vast array of impressive facilities, the magnificent 61.8m (203’4) RoMa is a prime example that it is possible to have it all.

Designed by the renowned Norwegian architect Espen Oeino, she was launched from the Viareggio shipyard in 2010. Throughout her luxurious living spaces, a colour palette of crisp whites contrasted against warm splashes of deep reds, subtle gold’s and hints of green create a feeling of contemporary elegance.

The main saloon has been furnished to offer comfort in opulent surroundings. A pair of L shaped sofas lay parallel whilst the chic Onyx bar/table provides the perfect spot for evening relaxation. Forward of the main saloon to the starboard side, the entrance lobby can be found where guests can take to whichever deck they please in the glass elevator.

Her accommodation sleeps 12 guests in 6 contemporary styled staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, one VIP stateroom, three doubles and a twin which can also be used as a nanny cabin if necessary. The master suite is decorated similarly to the main saloon with neutral shades and subtle lighting used to create a light and airy ambiance. It also features a spacious en-suite with a steam/shower room built in beautiful Estremos marble alongside a private dressing room, ensuring the ultimate luxury charter experience.

In terms of entertainment, RoMa is unsurpassed in luxury amenities and water-toys for an unforgettable charter experience. One of her most impressive features is an on-board cinema, the walls of which are adorned with fibre optic stars. Her fantastic outdoor spaces are equally impressive, featuring a private beach-club, swimming pool with current enabling jet, fully-equipped gymnasium and a host of toys as well as two Castoldi Jet tenders. A General Description of Motor Yacht ROMA

This sizeable luxury yacht ROMA is a motor yacht. This 62 metre (203 foot) luxury yacht was crafted by Vsy - Viareggio Superyachts in 2009. She could be described as a recent full displacement yacht. ROMA is ex (Project Duchess Of Tuscany). Superyacht ROMA is a stylish yacht that can accommodate up to 12 passengers on board and has a total of 16 professional crew. This large motor yacht has a helicopter landing facility. Finished and launched in 2009 the recent internal styling exhibits the congruous progression in the designing of Newcruise.

The new environmental regulation “Green Plus” by the classification society RINA was granted to 62 meter Roma as well as 2 other superyachts called Candscape II (63m) and Emerald Green. (41m). The vessels awarded this certificate have to make a significant investment in design solutions, on board equipment and operational procedures helping to reduce the impact of the yacht on the environment increasing their efficiency and performance. This will play an important role in bringing a reduction in the carbon emissions from the yachts’ exhaust.

New Build & Yacht Design relating to Luxury Yacht ROMA

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Espen Oeino. The technical naval architect drawings are the products of Espen Oeino. Motor Yacht ROMA received her stylish interior designing from the interior design office of Newcruise. In 2009 she was actually launched with accolade in Viareggio and post sea trials and finishing touches was thereafter handed over to the owner. Vsy - Viareggio Superyachts completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. Her main hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made for the most part from aluminium. With a width of 10.8 metres or 35.43 ft ROMA has fairly large size. A fairly deep draught of 3m (9.84ft) limits the amount of overall marinas she can berth in, contingent on their specific depth at low tide.

PRESENTING ROMA

Viareggio SuperYachts launched the 62-meter megayacht ROMA. Important to note, after superyacht Candyscape II, this is the second VSY 62.  Similarly, the second new-build for this shipyard.

Motor yacht ROMA has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Her build is to the strictest environmental standards.  She has an ES certification by ABS (Environmental Safety).  Significantly, the first-ever issued by ABS for a superyacht. Consequently, more Mediterranean yacht charter customers protect the environment.  To say nothing of the fact that her certification demonstrates the owner’s commitment to reducing the yacht’s carbon footprint.

The VSY 62 is an Espen Oeino design.  Her interior design by the German firm, Newcruise.  In addition, another German company, Gehr, is responsible for interior manufacture.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The Viareggio SuperYachts 62 has a voluminous interior. Subsequently, an even larger exterior. She accommodates 12. In specific, in 6 cabins. Her accommodations are a VIP stateroom on the bridge deck. In addition, three large staterooms on the main deck level.  Her master suite is up and forward on the main deck level. It has panoramic views over 270 degrees.  The sixth guest stateroom is below to starboard.  Of course, all staterooms offer ensuite facilities.

Some of the amazing features of this sensational yacht charter superyacht include state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.  Also, communication systems throughout. She features the latest in entertainment.  Additionally, a Lutron cabin control system, elevator, and gym. Lastly, a Jacuzzi pool, a cinema room, and a full array of water toys.

The crew quarters include eight double cabins below and the Captain’s cabin behind the bridge.  Uniquely, this makes for a total crew complement of 16 – 18 on board.

Motor Yacht

Roma is a 61.80m motor yacht, custom built in 2010 by Italian shipyard Viareggio SuperYachts. This yacht’s sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Espen Oeino. Her contemporary interior was designed by Newcruise.

Roma represents the extraordinary second chapter in the history of VSY and rightly constitutes a determining factor. While maintaining all the technical elements which normally feature in VSY yachts, the very best components available on the world-wide market today have been selected - namely: an efficient top-of-the-range electronic infrastructure for ship automation and governance, a legendary dynamic positioning system and a myriad of environmentally friendly equipment enabling them to receive the ABS Class R2 classification. The General Plan of this yacht pays special attention not only to the Owner’s requirements but also to those of three VIP cabins situated on the upper deck - all of which have sweeping windows giving breathtaking views of the surrounding seascape which all sea-farers feel but do not always have the pleasure of seeing to such an extent. The internal design by Newcruise Yacht Project & Design naturally reflects the Owner’s personality: elegant simplicity in every detail and a notable lack of superfluous flamboyance. A symphony of light shades and colours creates a relaxing atmosphere for anyone privileged enough to experience life on board. The eyes feast on Madras silks, fine Townsend leathers, natural stones, Macassar ebony and a range of beautiful veneers all combined into furniture, accessories and fittings of clean simple lines which are a pure pleasure to behold. The first cruise in the Indian Ocean was scheduled immediately after delivery and is testimony to the trustworthiness and success of a project conceived and produced with the greatest flare and care: qualities which are, by now, fast becoming part of VSY’s international trade mark.
