While eager fashion fans were disappointed they didn’t get to see Beyoncé at the Met Gala on Monday, September 13 , the Grammy Award-winning musician was already quite busy that day, as she’s in the midst of a lavish 40th birthday celebration in Europe.. Beyoncé, who turned the big 4-0 on September 4, and Jay-Z have been living their best vacation lives aboard an absolutely massive megayacht, sailing around the Mediterranean .

Beyoncé, Jay-Z and their three children (Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir) are currently aboard the Flying Fox , a 450-foot-long yacht was costs approximately $4 million a week to charter, according to Forbes . The palatial yacht, which cost a reported $400 million to build, has been rumored to belong to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos , though other reports claim the tech billionaire isn’t the owner.

No matter who owns the lavish yacht, it’s currently occupied by Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who have been traveling around Italy and France; they were spotted in Cannes earlier this week, where they were joined by Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, and dined at La Geurite, before heading to Portofino . Beyoncé has shared plenty of photos of the family’s European jaunt on her Instagram, including a snap where her youngest daughter, Rumi, makes a cameo.

The sprawling 67-foot-wide yacht does make for a rather picturesque Instagram aesthetic. The Flying Fox contains 10 bedroom suites, and can accommodate up to 25 guests as well as 55 crew members. The decor features lots of marble, limestone and cream leather, as well as rattan and coconut shell details, per Boat International .

The plush spa has oak paneling and heated limestone floors, and is equipped with a hammam, sauna and a massive pool, plus a cryosauna. There’s also a fancy gym, movie theater, a formal living room as well as a dining room with an aquarium. The owner’s suite has its own sitting room, beauty room and double dressing rooms, in addition to an ethanol fireplace.

There are no less than six decks, including a helipad perched on the very top. There’s also a DJ alcove, for whenever the guests might want to transform the aforementioned helipad into a dance floor.

Even though Beyoncé didn’t make an appearance at the Met Gala, she’s still making a true fashion statement with plenty of stylish vacation looks. And while she might not have stood on the red (well, beige) carpet, a $400 million yacht might be an even better backdrop than those famous Met steps.

Yet Beyonce proved that all is well as she was seen puckering up to Jay-Z on Wednesday while aboard a luxury yacht in Croatia during their romantic summer getaway. 

The 40-year-old singer looked sensational as she donned a vibrant canary yellow kaftan with pink accents on the trim and a bold pattern on the hemline.

The singer released her long-awaited seventh studio album titled Renaissance earlier this month much to the joy of her fans after it was leaked two days prior.

In a series of songs, the mother-of-three referenced her 21-year relationship with rapper Jay Z as she mused that 'nobody's perfect' and insisted that they 'don't need the world's acceptance.'

Beyonce first spoke publicly about her husband's infidelity in her 2016 visual album Lemonade, referencing the other woman as 'Becky with the good hair.'

The following year Jay Z referenced the scandal himself, claiming he had 'gone into survival mode' so had to 'shut down emotionally,' which resulted in him being unfaithful.

Appearing to reference the ongoing scrutiny surrounding her relationship, Beyo nce sings in Renaissance track Plastic On The Sofa: 'We don't need the world's acceptance. They're too hard on me, they're too hard on you, boy.'

She also sings: 'Boy, I know you can't help but to be yourself around me, yourself around me. And I know nobody's perfect so I'll let you be, I'll let you be.

Fun in the sun: The pair were no doubt looking forward to spending their downtime together out in the sunshine after a busy few weeks polishing  off Beyonce's latest album 

Beyonce also referenced her husband's scandal with her sister Solange.

In 2014, Solange was filmed attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the Met Gala, with her Beyonce and her husband releasing a joint statement at the time stressing it was a ‘private family matter’.

However, later in the year she referenced in a remix of her single, Flawless: 'And we could go around and get some good karma, but no. We escalate, up in this b***h like elevators. Of course sometimes s**t go down, when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator’.

She has now appeared to reference the scandal again in new single Cozy, singing: 'She’s a god, she’s a hero, she survived, all she been through, confident and she lethal.

'Might I suggest you don’t f**k with my sis, because she ­comfortable. Comfortable in my skin, cozy with who I am.'

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly chartering an Italian superyacht that costs more than $2 million a week to rent — take a look inside

• Beyonce spent her birthday vacationing on a high-end ship in Croatia with Jay-Z and their three kids, the Daily Mail and Total Croatia News reported earlier this week. 
• Imperial , a luxury yacht broker, is chartering the new superyacht called Lana, which can hold up to 12 guests and 31 crew members and will be available for private reservations, starting in the spring. 
• More than 300 feet long, the vessel comes with a spa and a beach club and costs more than $2 million a week to vacation on.
• It typically costs around $150,000 a week to charter a luxurious superyacht for a week, per CNBC .

Beyonce and Jay-Z are exploring European waters with their family aboard a new superyacht, according to multiple reports in TMZ, Daily Mail, and Total Croatia News.

It's the largest and most expensive yacht the couple has ever chartered,  Forbes reported  based on information from  superyachtfan.com

Lana, the Benetti-built yacht, is more than 300 feet long.

While there are no official criteria to categorize a yacht as a superyacht, Bill Springer, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine Ocean Home, wrote for Forbes that "all superyachts are opulent enough to be equipped with an object that represents the epitome of luxury."

This particular superyacht, known as Lana, will be available for charter for about $2 million a week beginning in the spring.

This is more than the cost of a typical week-long superyacht rental, which can come to about $150,000, per CNBC. Kismet, the 312-foot superyacht that Beyonce and Jay-Z traveled on in 2018, costs about $1.3 million per week.

It features amenities like a gym, a spa, and a helicopter landing pad.

Clusters of couches and chairs are spread out on Lana's decks for groups to hang out.

The sun deck comes with a heated pool that's about nine yards long.

The same deck has a dining room that seats about 12 people.

Sculptures that decorate the yacht's interior mimic the flow of the ocean, according to the company website.

Lana holds 12 total guests per trip who can stay in one of the eight suites aboard the ship.

Seven of them are referred to as VIP guest rooms, and each room has its own color scheme.

The eighth room is a master suite.

This is the ship's beach club, which is an entertainment area with a waterfront.

Lana also features a cinema room with a movie screen and a sound system.

Lana is a motor yacht and can cruise at 16 knots with a maximum speed of 18.5 knots.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are doing their own version of "The Love Boat" -- sailing the high seas through Europe ... this after setting the music world on fire.

The couple was spotted Monday on a mega yacht -- a multi-level vessel that looks damn expensive -- where they were looking out onto the ocean blue ... or at least Bey was, snapping some pics with a digital camera.

Jay eventually was out there as well -- and he, too, was taking photos -- not too far from their kids, who were enjoying an onboard swim with nannies and staff in tow. When you're this rich and you're cruising on a boat this nice ... that's how ya do childcare.

Take a look at this thing in the wide shots ... it's like a floating palace on water.

Seems like the Carter-Knowles brood is enjoying these final days of summer ... but if we're being honest, they can kinda take a vacation like this anytime they want.

Their trip here is well-deserved. Bey's fresh off a major album drop -- her eighth solo project, "Renaissance" topped the charts and crushed in sales ... despite some early criticism of its dance tracks.

Firmly back on her throne ... Queen Bey apparently needs some R&R. Or, in this case, mega R&R.

The superstar couple enjoyed some free time with their 5-year-old twins as they vacationed in Croatia on a massive yacht.

Beyonce  and  Jay-Z  relaxed by the pool on their yacht, as their twins   Rumi  and  Sir had fun in the water, on Monday, August 22. The  Renaissance  singer, 40, and the rapper, 52, looked like they were having a great time with their kids on vacation. The twins, both 5, also seemed like they were having lots of fun together as they splashed in the water, while mom and dad lounged on the pool deck.

The kids looked like they had fun as they played in the pool, wearing bathing suits and swim shirts. Rumi and Sir’s parents looked like they had some well-deserved rest late in the summer. Beyonce stunned in a brown outfit, as she enjoyed the sun and held a camera, seemingly taking some family photos during their getaway. Jay wore a white t-shirt and pants, as he walked around the deck.

While Jay and Bey are both clearly very busy, the couple definitely makes spending quality time with their kids a priority. At the start of the year, Jay was seen out and about with the pair’s older daughter  Blue Ivy,  10, on plenty of occasions, like seeing the L.A. Rams i n the Super Bowl. Besides football, the daddy-daughter duo have both been seen out at NBA games and Disneyland together.

It’s also been an incredibly busy year for Beyonce, as she released her long-anticipated seventh album  Renaissance   at the end of July. Despite an early leak dropping, the “I’m That Girl” singer’s new album has been a clear success. Her lead single “Break My Soul” has been a smash hit since it dropped towards the end of June. Since the song was released, Beyonce dropped a remix of the track that featured a guest appearance from another pop icon Madonna  at the beginning of August.

Jay Z & Beyonce Celebrate Her 32nd Birthday On Luxury Yacht in Italy

It has been widely reported in the press that Jay Z and Beyonce celebrated her 32nd birthday with family and friends on the brand new luxury yacht 'Galactic Star' in Italy this week.

The happy couple boarded the luxury yacht on Monday in Formentera, Spain and headed to the spectacular Italian coast around the volcanic island of Stromboli. The   motor yacht 'Galactica Star'  is the newest and largest Heesen ever built, at 65m this yacht features a unique 'fast displacement"  hull which offers the owner or charter guests the best of both worlds - a very fast yacht with large internal volume and comfort, together with being more more fuel efficient.

E-Online comments "Our yacht expert estimates the purchase price of the brand-new Galactica Star to have been around $50 million, noting that the boat isn't listed among charter companies as an acquirable rental, so Beyoncé and Jay-Z likely pulled some insider strings to gain access". They are correct M/Y Galactica Star is not officially listed for charter by any of the leading Yacht Charter Brokerage houses in the world, or it would be listed on this site, so how is this possible? 

Either they know the owners of the yacht and have been allowed to use the yacht for the week, or it is a private yacht which is available for select charters on a very limited basis. There are a few large iconic superyachts which are available to charter, but are never openly marketed, as such and these are only offered to a select few VIPS from the leading luxury yachting companies such as Edmiston, Fraser Yachts, Burgess and Camper & Nicholsons.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z Are Vacationing on This Megayacht That Costs Nearly $4 Million a Week to Rent

It's rumored that Jeff Bezos owns the massive yacht.

On Instagram , Beyoncé has been sharing photos from her family vacation on the impressive ship—which measures 417 feet long and likely cost more than $500 million to build, Bloomberg reports . It’s rumored that Jeff Bezos bought the yacht, but other sources say he’s not the owner.

Onboard, the ship can accommodate 25 guests in suites with clean-lined, contemporary decor, Boat International reports . There are 55 crew members, many of whom are dual-trained to be chefs, housekeepers, medics, dive instructors, hairdressers, and more. The ship has several decks—including a helipad on the roof—and the amenities feature a vast spa pool, cryosauna, gym, submarine, and water sports equipment (to name a few!). Oh, and the yacht is so big that it even has its own support yacht.

It’s unclear how long Beyoncé and Jay-Z plan on vacationing on the boat, but they’re out there living their best lives. Why attend a few crowded events when you can have a whole megayacht to yourself?

Bikini-clad Beyoncé and JAY-Z Kick Back on a Yacht in Italy Between On the Run Tour Dates

The superstar couple took a well-deserved break after wrapping up the European leg of their global tour and heading back to the U.S.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z are taking a breather from their On the Run II tour.

The couple were spotted kicking back on a yacht off the coast of Italy between after wrapping the European leg of their global tour with a performance in Nice, France. They return to the States for a show in Cleveland on Wednesday.

For their boat trip along the picturesque Amalfi Coast — a celeb-favorite summer vacation destination — Beyoncé wore a black bikini, sheer coverup and a straw hat, while JAY-Z went for a bright turquoise pair of swim trunks, white tee, and a blue bandana.

Their 6-year-old daughter Blue Ivy , and twins Rumi and Sir , 13 months, are also on tour with their parents, but were not seen in the topside snaps.

The family has been making time for mini getaways throughout the summer as they tour around Europe.

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, shared a video on Instagram last week showing the couple as well as friends including U2’s Bono enjoying a lively dinner in Nice, and dancing to a live band performing a cover of “Brown Eyed Girl.”

What’s Better Than Being Beyoncé and Jay-Z on a Boat in the Hamptons With, Well, Jack Dorsey?

Picture this: You’re the extremely well-decorated recording artist Beyoncé. Or you’re the extremely well-decorated recording artist Jay-Z. Either way it’s summer, and you’re summering in the Hamptons like you always do. You’ve got your kids around you on a boat, and you’re drinking Hamptons water—rosé!—the good stuff. You’re on a small yacht ( photos over here on Page Six ). Or an oversized speedboat. You know the difference between those two things because you’ve spent a significant amount of time on the open seas. Isn’t that nice? Gosh, can’t you practically feel the sun on your face as you’re explaining the difference between a small yacht and a large speedboat to your children? 

And, well, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is there. He’s kind of looming, serving the second coming of Rasputin in his preferred ensemble of mostly black clothing. It’s not his fault. He just has a thing for letting the facial hair go and also Rick Owens. He’s wearing jeans on this boat. Full jeans in August, famously “the dog days of summer,” in the Hamptons. You’re not letting it bother you because of the aforementioned boat, rosé, kids, et cetera, but you do trade a quick look with your significant other, who is wearing board shorts and a Tommy Bahama–type top because, well, this isn’t his first rodeo.

And that is the good life, huh? Being on that enormous speedboat and/or small yacht with your friend, I guess, CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey. In the Hamptons. During a pandemic. What’s better than that? I could not tell you.

Take a look inside Beyonce and Jay Z’s $70 million yacht!

They are a power couple like no other, we love them and they love each other. This couple has always showed us how much money they have and how much they love each other, by the presents they receive.

And this time is no different. It is believed that for Beyonce’s 32 nd birthday, her husband, the rapper Jay Z bought her a US$70 million superyacht. That tops the list of the expensive things Beyonce owns .

They have been photographed by the paparazzi celebrating aboard the 213-ft Galactica Star yacht.

Because it might have been a gift, this yacht is one of the best, and has given the title of the world’s largest fast displacement yacht at the time of its launch in 2013.

It was titled the largest fast displacement because it has the ability to combine low resistance with high performance and fuel efficiency throughout the full speed range.

It can almost go with 30 knots while burning 30% less fuel than a craft of the same size.

Galactica Star yacht has been built by Heesen in the Netherlands and had its interior designed by London-based firm Bannenberg & Rowell.

It is not in vain called a superyacht, because it features lots of outdoor space, including a sundeck, a duplex beach club covering 25% of the main and lower decks, and a touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck.

Because we are here talking about one of the richest couples in the world , the yacht must have come with a helipad. Plus, it also has several World Superyacht Awards.

The yacht is kitted out with everything you could need at sea, catering especially for warmer climates where the guests can relax in the sun.

Beyonce and Jay Z can take up to 12 guests with them, and accommodate them in custom-built staterooms, including a full-beam master suite with private balcony and a VIP suite on the upper deck.

Let’s not count the crew of 13 to service all the guests, and the swimming pool, sauna or on-deck Jacuzzi.

The Galactica Star, which is priced at an estimated US$70 million, is not on the books as a charter vessel, so some people say that Jay Z may have dropped big money to make it his.

No doubt he negotiated a good price, and by chartering it out when not in use he may even turn a profit.

Before Jay Z bought it, the yacht belonged to Nigerian energy business magnate Kola Aluko, but in September, he sold it to the couple.

Apparently you can also rent this yacht, if you have US$900,000/ week and must be a personal connection to Kola Aluko or someone famous.

The control room is state of the art, featuring large touch-screen displays that can be used to drive the yacht for over 4,500 nautical miles on a single tank of fuel.

At night, the ship becomes beautifully lit and is the perfect location for hosting parties.

The modern and forward-looking design includes a lot of glass, helping to keep the space airy and light.
