The Yacht Club Restaurant offers a special milieu and a fun service culture. On chilly evenings, you can relax by the fireplace. In the summer, however, you can enjoy the beautiful view from our large outdoor terrace. The menu focuses on different seafood dishes. Founded Year
The Kalev Yacht Club is on the left bank of the River Pirita near its mouth, and is one of the oldest and most respectable clubs of its kind in Estonia. The club was founded in 1947, and two years later its clubhouse was opened. From the club’s pier, visitors have a magnificent view of the ruins of St. Brigit’s convent (constructed 1407-1436 and destroyed in the Livonian War in 1577). Tallinn is rich in beautiful sights, providing unforgettable experiences and memories. At present the Kalev Yacht Club is home marina for 60 vessels. It also has a guest pier with 20 mooring places. On the first floor of the clubhouse are a restaurant and public internet facilities.

Kalevi Yacht Club (KYC) is Estonia’s largest yacht club that unites sailors , located in the mouth of the Pirita River, in the territory of the former Olympic Sports Center in Tallinn.
The club has more than 600 maritime and sailing enthusiasts, and they have won medals in the European and World Championships as well as in the Olympic Games since its creation in 1948.
The story of the cooperation between Top Marine and Kalevi Yacht Club
Our cooperation with Kalevi Yacht Club started in 2008, when KYC decided to expand the marina that had become hopelessly small for the members.
We produced, supplied and installed five floating pontoons with buoys and booms:
- The first pontoon was 48 m long and consisted of 2.4 m wide and 12 m long heavy duty pontoons. On the left side there were mooring buoys for mooring nine vessels and 9 m long mooring fingers on the right side for attaching 11 vessels. Four service pedestals were installed on the pontoon;
- The second to fifth floating pontoons were timber pontoons with concrete floats with a length of 36 m and a width of 2.4 m. The pontoons were fitted with 6 and 8 meter long mooring fingers for attaching vessels and water and electrical connections were installed there.
After the expansion, the number of boat spaces doubled, reaching 87.
In 2013 , we made a ramp on plastic floats for young sailors, which at that time was the first in Estonia .
In 2015 , KYC deepened its port basin. We added six 10-meter mooring fingers to the pontoon closest to the sea for serving visiting vessels.
By 2017 , the marina was once again too small for the members of the yacht club and KYC bought the adjacent port basin. In part by moving the existing floating pontoons, and partly by installing new pontoons, we added a 2.4 m wide and 72 m long heavy duty pontoon and a 2.4 m wide and 120 m long timber pontoon with concrete floats. For mooring, we installed 34 mooring fingers 9 m in length and three 8 m mooring fingers.
As a result, the number of spaces doubled again increasing to a total of 150 spaces.

At present the Kalev Yacht Club is home marina for 60 vessels. It also has a guest pier with 20 mooring places. Pirita harbour has all necessary washing facilities, water and electricity supply, also garbage dumps, places for bilge water utilization, and filling stations for launches.
The Sailing School by Kalev Yacht Club is the sailing club with the longest traditions in Tallinn, Estonia, running since 1977. The Port of Kalev Yacht Club is located at Pirita, at a distance of only ten minutes' drive from the centre of the City of Tallinn. There are 20 mooring places in the guest pier and the port has very good infrastructure where all the necessary port services are provided.
