The 2023 Bertram Rendezvous, the largest gathering in modern history.

September 29th- october 1st 2023, the long beach yacht club.

This is an event unlike any other.... inspired by tradition, driven by excellence.

The Rendezvous Overview

To simply sum it up, it's all about…. FUN. The rendezvous is an opportunity to get together with a bunch of great people who share our passion for Bertrams. The event is three days of relaxing on the water, enjoying the camaraderie of other boaters, sharing sea stories, talking about solutions to boat issues, showing off your engine room, having a beer, enjoying a great meal, or just simply relaxing. We started this event expecting it to be small, 5-10 boats, but never imagined the positive response from the Southern California Bertram community. In 2019, we had 29 boats and over 100 people attend and it was so fun we decided to do it again. Here on the website you can find the schedule of events and more information, as well as pictures from last years event. We hope to see you again at this legendary event!

This is a really wonderful place to have lunch! Beautiful view of the water and boats from every angle and had a lunch buffet with friends. The sandwiches were made to order as you'd like. Fresh fruit and cookies and the service was exceptional!

Always have a great time whenever me, my sister and my dad come down to the club, food never disappoints, the staff love us, they call my sister pumpkin and always happy to see each other so overall just a great place

I have been coming to the Long Beach Yacht Club for the last 8 years for corporate meetings a handful of times a year. Initially, I came as a participant and eventually started planning our quarterly meetings! The staff is beyond helpful and makes the process smooth and simple! Our events always go off without a hitch thanks to the staff's attention to detail and attentiveness! The food options are great and the facility is clean! Our team loves having our meetings in the upstairs meeting room which has all glass panels so they can enjoy the boats and Pacific Ocean view! Thanks LBYC for the continued support and great service!!

The price of their dishes is descend, Food is good. Location is excellent. It's located in Redondo Beach harbor. We were having our early dinner by the balcony of the restaurant. Watching sail boats coming in and the sky turning orange color. It was very relaxing.

We are back in our old stomping ground for a wedding and seeing Long Beach as a tourist is a weird experience after living here for 18 years. My sister is a member of the Yacht Club and we have been here for several occasion. This weekend the reason was to celebrate our daughters birthday and escape the cold of Minnesota. The Club has an extensive clubhouse, locker rooms, decent food if you dine in and a pool, pool deck and complete sailing program. We have mostly experienced the meals and pool and it is a great place to catch some sun and water while watching the boats sail by in the harbor. It's hard to have a bad day if there is sun out it is gorgeous and boats some of Long Beaches beautiful waterfront views. Memberships are available but pricey and I believe they run a discount for junior professionals as there is a significant senior population at the club.

On a quiet day the pool is glorious

Awesome food, and crazy nice staff!! The place even has an all year round holiday feel to it with one of the chefs in the kitchen looking like Santa Claus!!

Visiting the YC as a reciprocal from another YC, I was truly impressed with the focus on service provided by all of the staff members we interacted with. I also really respect that from the sounds of it that the YC did right by their staff during the COVID closures. Well done!

LBYC is the best!!! Don't know why other LB clubs, that are empty buildings, in comparison have more stars! Amazing youth programs for swimming, sailing, etc. super lively bar! Great service!!! Fancy restaurant with full service! Beautiful patio dining! Members can have events from weddings to small gatherings. Love this place!

Photo of Will G.

If you get a chance - and save up some money cause it ain't cheap - you should come here for brunch!! I promise it'll be worth it! I don't into w how many weddings you've been to in your past but I have been to many more than I've wanted to! For the most part it's crappy food, shitty Muzak and boring!! THIS WAS ANYTHING BUT!! When I arrived I noticed that everyone was really nice...even the guests / members. The 2nd floor is amazing! The views from practically every angle is breathtaking. And here's the surprise...the food was REALLY GOOD!! The salmon was some of the best cooked salmon I've had in recent memory. Yes...THAT GOOD!! I also had the Tri Tip. It was also surprisingly delicious and tender. The horseradish was spicy! The food table awesome: Tri Tip, Grilled Chicken Breast, Spinach blend, mixed greens day: Grilled Salmon w Butter Sauce, artichokes, roasted beets, Feta cheese, Cornichons, Rice Pilaf, Steamed Vegetables, and dinner rolls. And they serve COKE - instead of Pepsi. I was attending a wedding with people from all over the country...and it was good - REAL GOOD! The DJ played 80's music and had everyone up and dancing! Come down. Spend a little more. Make some great memories! Don't miss the patio after the Alyssa Llll If you like what I laid down...let me know!! Check me out on Yelp, Instagram and Facebook as Chef Will aka The FoodPro. Looking forward to your comments.

The Grunion

Grunion sports, grunion sports | here are the sailing competitions long beach will host this summer, from olympic training to children's regattas — long beach's coastline has it all..

long beach yacht club fireworks

This will be an action-packed summer for sailors — and for fans of the sport.

Sail GP’s fast-flying catamaran, the 52nd biennial Transpacific Race to Hawaii, and Olympic Class regattas will all make their way to Long Beach area waters this season, alongside the return of some classic favorites, such as the Jessica Uniack Beach to Bay race, the Catalina series, and Long Beach Race Week.

Here’s how you can participate or enjoy a few of Long Beach’s favorite sailing events this summer.

Seal Beach Yacht Club’s Pop-Top Series

The SBYC will host this sailing event — which features five different four-race series — every Thursday night from May to September. The club will host a burger bash and awards ceremony after the series concludes. Information: slbyc.com .

Long Beach Yacht Club’s Wet Wednesdays Series

The LBYC hosts a weeknight sailing series from May to September as well, only on Wednesdays. The club also hosts the Catalina Island Series, where boats race to and from Catalina over various weekends. Information: lbyc.org .

Sail Grand Prix

The SailGP global league will makes its Los Angles debut in the Port of Los Angeles’s waters on July 22 and 23.

There will be nine teams from different countries — including the United States SailGP team led by legend Jimmy Spithill — racing F50 catamarans, capable of exceeding 60 mph.

The race will take place directly on the POLA waterfront at Berth 46.  Ticket packages are available for bleacher seats, along with on-the-water viewing zones for local boatowners.

Race are scheduled to run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. daily. Tickets are available at sailgp.com .

Transpac Yacht Club Race sendoff

The 52nd edition of the Transpac Yacht Club’s race will kick off on June 24 with a special send-off party slated to take place aboard the USS Iowa in San Pedro.

The race itself — which has three separate starts on June 27, June 29 and July 1 — will challenge sailors to complete a 2,225-mile journey from California to Hawaii.

The best sailors will be honored at three separate award ceremonies throughout July in Hawaii. Information: transpacyc.com .

Long Beach Race Week

Long Beach Race Week is an annual sailing regatta for keelboats and ocean racing catamarans held at the end of June. The event, from June 23 to 25 this year, is organized by the Alamitos Bay and Long Beach Yacht Club on multiple courses off Long Beach’s coast. Information: lbyc.org .

Long Beach Olympic Classes Regatta

This event, offered by the US Open Sailing Series in partnership with the Alamitos Bay and Long Beach yacht clubs, provides a domestic regatta schedule and training platform for athletes racing in Olympic and Youth Worlds classes ahead of the 2028 Olympics. The event will take place from July 14 to 16.

Jessica Uniack Memorial Beach to Bay Race

There will be about 200 young sailors, ranging in age from 6 to 16, competing in this 5-mile annual race from Shoreline Beach to Alamitos Bay on July 20.

This is the only junior sailing race where boats leave the protection of Alamitos Bay and venture into harbor waters — marking a major milestone for the young sailors. Information: lbyc.org .

Heroes/Patriots Regatta

The Long Beach Yacht Club has combined two of their outreach regattas into one. The Heroes Regatta — which was first organized in 2014 in honor of Long Beach’s first responders — and the Patriots Regatta for members of the armed forces, are now one. The regatta is set for Aug. 5. Information: lbyc.org .

Outlaw Regatta

This is 30-mile distance race from Santa Monica Bay to Alamitos Bay, hosted by the Seal Beach Yacht Club, will take place Sept. 2 and feature a pirate-themed party immediately after. Information: slbyc.com .

THE WATER IS

Whether you are looking for an active on-the-water lifestyle the whole family can enjoy, are a competitive sailor, a recreational boater, or simply looking for a welcoming community that also happens to enjoy spectacular waterfront views...you’ve found it at Long Beach Yacht Club.

LBYC was formed to promote yachting and competitive sportsmanship on a world-class level – and for nearly 100 years our reputation has matched our mission. Sailing members take part year-round in regattas, invitationals, championships, trips and other events, and of course, access to our fleet of Catalina 37 One-Design racing yachts.  Don’t know how to sail? That’s okay, we offer learn-to-sail programs on our fleet of Soling sailboats that are also available for member use.

We take an all-inclusive and laid-back approach to what it means to be a yacht club, featuring a range of power and recreational boating programs, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, fishing trips and travel...nearly any and every recreational activity you can enjoy on, in and around the water.

Our heated pool is a relaxed and relaxing Naples Island gathering spot for those who love to be in the water...as well as close to the water. From lap swimming to soaking up the sun, recreational activities to group lessons and more, this is an active family-friendly amenity that can be enjoyed year-round. We offer members and guests light dining menus, and locker rooms that feature showers and saunas.

Our clubhouse on Alamitos Bay is a casually refined destination that features some of the best views in Long Beach...and Southern California. Led by chefs with decades of experience, LBYC features a variety of menus — and a variety of venues, including our 225-foot private dock. In fact, every table is guaranteed to offer a spectacular visual presentation matched only by our culinary, cocktail and wine selections. From casual family meals to more formal dinners and breathtaking sunset celebrations, this is a private gathering spot that also feels remarkably like a home, away from home.

We regard the younger set as an important part of our Club as well, with both sailing and non-sailing programs for children from ages 4 to 17 years old. LBYC’s well-regarded Junior programs offer world-class sailing lessons, safety instruction and competitions in Sabots, CFJs and Lasers, and a range of fun year-round programs and summer camps led by experienced instructors and coaches.

LBYC is a lively, fun and inviting gathering place, defined by people who will always offer a warm smile, friendly conversation...and an invitation to the next adventure.

As an equity club, members are owners here, with a say in every decision about our operations and plans for the future. Club reciprocity also means our membership community extends to yacht clubs from just down the coast to around the world, fostering connections and friendships that extend across the years and across the oceans.

A look at the most expensive superyachts at the Palm Beach yacht show and their insane features, from basketball courts on deck to ice baths and saunas

The Palm Beach International Boat Show kicks off later this week.

Eight megayachts are expected to be on display for would-be buyers and charter customers.

These are the show's biggest yachts — and how many millions of dollars they are going for.

The Palm Beach International Boat Show — the yacht world's flashiest event stateside — is returning this year with over 800 boats for both deep-pocked potential owners and window shoppers to peruse.

While it's impossible to know what exactly will be on display until the show begins on Thursday, it's expected that eight megayachts — generally defined as ships over 60 meters long — will be docked at the show and at nearby marinas like the Rybovich Marina in the ritzy Florida town.

Some of these are for sale at eye-popping prices, but others are available to if in case you fancy living like a billionaire for a week or two this summer (and if you have six figures to spare on a vacation).

These are the eight biggest yachts that will be at the Palm Beach International Boat Show and nearby marinas, in size order.

Nero: 90.1 meters

Price: From $497,000 a week (charter) Standout features: Pizza ovens, beauty salon, massage room, resistance pool

Reportedly owned by Irish billionaire Denis O'Brien, Nero is modeled after J.P. Morgan's 1930s ship , and was built in 2007 and updated in 2021.

She now boasts a gym on her sundeck with multiple cardio machines and a beauty salon, and has an on-board beautician for manicure, pedicure, hair, and massage needs. There's also an upgraded movie theater, two new pizza ovens, and both a pool and a jacuzzi.

For those who want to go overboard, she has more than a dozen toys, including a waterslide, Jet Ski, and flyboard.

Victorious: 85 meters

Price: From $876,600 a week in the summer and $950,000 a week in the winter Standout features: Hammam (Turkish bath), wine cellar, wood-burning fireplace, children's playroom

Victorious brings a party vibe to the yacht show. With a beach club on board, a wine cellar, a cigar clubroom , multiple bars, and a lounge with a piano, the vessel is made for entertaining. Plus, there's a playroom and movie theater to entertain the kids.

For tamer charter clients, Victorious has a suite of wellness features such as a gym, massage room, beauty salon and hammam, or Turkish bath — perhaps a custom request of her owner, Turkish businessman Vural Ak.

She also boasts a treasure trove of water toys, including Jet Skis, jetsurfs, inflatable kayaks, and scuba equipment.

Casino Royale: 72 meters

Price: TBD Special Features: Infinity pool, helipad, private jacuzzi

Purchased and refitted by car dealer magnate John Staluppi last year, Casino Royale is the latest of his James Bond-inspired yachts (he's also owned an Octopussy and a Skyfall, among others).

Casino Royale has a helipad that turns into a dancefloor, an infinity pool, and a wellness center with a gym and sauna. The owner's cabin has its own deck, which features a private bar and jacuzzi.

However, the boat's price isn't listed, and while she's not necessarily officially for sale, that might change depending on who's prepared to buy, Mr. Bond.

Talisman C: 70.6 meters

Price: $60 million (or from $567,000 a week to charter) Special features: Massage and beauty room, private library

Likely the largest yacht for sale (not just charter) at the show, the Talisman C is a 2011 six-bedroom boat. The owner's cabin comes with an en suite bathroom, dressing room, private library, and crystal chandeliers.

Amenities include a gym, a beauty room, oversized jacuzzi, and a fully equipped bar. Her crew of 19 includes a trained masseuse, and the toy room comes equipped with a wakeboard, eFoil , and WaveRunners.

Joy: 70 meters

Price: From $650,000 a week Special features: Disco club, basketball court, onboard fitness instructor

Superyacht Joy testifies to the fact that owners want as many on-board experiences as they can get.

There's an expansive suite of fitness features, including a basketball court (don't shoot that hoop too hard!), a personal trainer on staff, boxing equipment, and a handful of machines. For post-workout winddowns, there's a spa with a steam room and onboard masseuse. And for entertainment, there's both an outdoor and indoor cinema, and a disco club.

Triumph: 65.4 meters

Price: From $707,600 a week in the summer and $650,000 a week in the winter Special features: Sauna, helipad, banana boat

This 2021 superyacht is named after Triumph motorcycles — a reported favorite of her rumored owner, British businessman Chris Dawson — and even has one on display as an art piece in the upper deck's lounge. The primary suite is 1,400 square feet and has its own study , and there's a sauna, an indoor-outdoor gym, a helipad, and a massage room spread among her six decks.

She boasts an "armada of water toys," including two kinds of Jet Skis, electric water bikes, and a banana boat.

Seanna: 64.5 meters

Price: $54,000,000 (or from $462,000 a week to charter) Special features: marble foyer, movie room, sundeck pool

The recently refurbished Seanna is available for sale and charter.

Her indoor-outdoor gym is on sea level so that passengers can take a dip after a session with the onboard personal trainer. There's also a sundeck pool, a helipad, a two-room massage facility, and, for the more cerebral guests, a library with an electric fireplace.

There are a number of toys on board, including a popular water trampoline and two WaveRunners.

Come Together: 60 meters

Price: $65,000,000 Special Features: DJ and videographer on board, ice bath, sauna

Next-to-new yacht Come Together is looking for a new owner after doing charters during the 2023 season.

The Beatles' influence is evident beyond the yacht's name, with guitars dotting the sky lounge and a crewmember who doubles as a DJ. There's also an outdoor cinema and bar for entertainment and an ice bath and sauna for the day after the party. The owner's suite has a private study and lounge, and each guest cabin has its own ensuite.

The sale includes a number of toys, like Jet Skis, kayaks, and Seabobs.

Globally, a third of the food produced is lost or wasted, and in Kenya, that figure stands at between 20% to 40%. For Kenya, unlike the developed world, food loss, not waste, is the greater problem, with small-scale farmers, who account for 75% of the total agricultural output in the country, facing a myriad of challenges including inadequate market linkages and a failure to meet the cosmetic specifications for their produce. For a transition, several startups are emerging looking to bridge the market gap for farmers.

Candela's electric ferries multiply as the startup lines up $25M in new funding

Electric boat maker Candela is approaching cruising speed with $25 million in new funding and the first commercial deployment of its new P-12 ferry in New Zealand. The company has global ambitions for its highly efficient boats and has completed and delivered dozens of them — which is a lot in this industry! Candela has been slowly upping the size of its vessels for years, starting with the considerably smaller C-7 and C-8 (noting the length in meters) — of which, as of this week, they have now produced a total of 70.

Spectacular multi-million dollar yachts — check! Balmy, waterfront location — check! Family-friendly exhibitions and fun — check!

Then it must be the 42nd annual Palm Beach International Boat Show, which cruised into West Palm Beach this week. The city’s waterfront Downtown was transformed into a yachters’ haven, filled with ultra-luxurious yachts and cruisers and a seemingly endless range of yachting-inspired activities.

This year some 800 boats and yachts participated in the show, which is expected to lure over 55,000 total visitors along with 600 brands. In total, the four-day show is anticipated to pump over $1 billion into the economy of the Palm Beach area, which has seen both its population and popularity surge since the pandemic.

“Beyond its economic significance and standing in the industry, the Palm Beach International Boat Show holds a special place in the hearts of local residents, revered as one of the region’s must-attend events,” said Alyssa Freeman, executive director of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County (MIAPBC).

The show supports a series of satellite events such as the Winward VIP Club, with an open bar, gourmet dining and special pop-up activations. The Super Yacht Show Palm Beach at Palm Harbor was where the show’s most glamorous — and truly gargantuan — superyachts are on display. At the AquaZone, which is presented by Nautical Ventures, guests can enjoy a “show within a show” via an interactive experience featuring a wide range of water sports and cutting-edge, marine-related products.

“The Palm Beach International Boat Show holds a special place in the hearts of local residents.”

As always, the Show delivers an exceptional array of culinary experiences, including world-class cocktails provided by sponsors such as Goslings Rum. The Show also includes a series of education seminars that appeal to visitors of all ages, including the Hook the Future’s Kids Fishing Clinics with Captain Don Dingman, who demonstrates various fishing techniques while showcasing a wide variety of fish species. Participants get a free Hook the Future x Carolina Skiff rod and reel combo.

But it’s really all about the boats. Here are five of the most unique, intriguing and eye-popping vessels on display.

The lucky charm

Interior of a room on the Talisman C.

Few yachts at this year’s show are as jaw-dropping as Talisman C. Designed by London-based interiors aces H2 and manufactured by Turkish master yacht-builders Proteksan Turquoise, it’s currently listed for sale by British yachting firm Burgess for a cool $59.7 55 million. Spanning just over 231 feet long, it features six full-sized cabins that can sleep up to 14 guests, including a sprawling owner’s suite with its king-size bed and crystal chandelier, massive walk-in closet and grand library (which can easily be converted into an additional cabin).

Upstairs, the yacht’s sundeck features a large glass-encased Jacuzzi, sun beds and dining area under the sun or stars. A chic swim platform allows for easy access to the azure seas while the nearby aft deck area includes a fully equipped bar with club seating as well as a full-size dining area capped by a glass-threaded chandelier.

The vessel is powered by a pair of 2,447hp Caterpillar diesel engines, which provide a top speed of 18 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a transatlantic range of 7,000 nautical miles.

The emperor

Exterior shot of Nero.

Reaching just under 300 feet in length, the Nero is, without doubt, one of the most eye-catching vessels at the entire Palm Beach show. Although completely contemporarily designed and manufactured, the Nero embodies the look and aesthetic of classic boats from yachting’s golden age during the 1930s. Fully overhauled in 2021, the Nero — which is currently on the market for just under $500,000 per week via Burgess — was designed in the spirit of Corsair, a yacht launched in the 1930s that belonged to legendary Wall Street financier J.P. Morgan.

Inside, it could not be more luxurious. On the top deck is a world-class gym fitted out with equipment by Technogym, while a few steps beyond is a beauty salon, which comes with an in-house beautician and masseuse.

There are six cabins with room for 12 guests — along with an on-board Jacuzzi, pool and waterslide. Throughout, veteran yacht designer Laura Pomponi has updated and upgraded the Nero’s look, introducing a range of new handmade carpets, along with hardwood floors, new sofas and elegant art-works. Pomponi has also lent her hand to Nero’s distinctive 30-foot Corsair custom-built tender that has been refitted so guests can arrive in impeccable style.

The secret agent

Exterior of deck aboard Casino Royale.

As its name suggests, the 236-foot Casino Royale brings a large dose of Bond-like elegance and intrigue to West Palm Beach. Constructed by Italian master shipbuilder Tankoa in 2018 and given a top-to-bottom retrofit in 2022, Casino Royale includes six cabins for 12 passengers and has been awarded a slew of industry accolades for its innovative and forward-thinking technology and aesthetic. Nearly two dozen crewmembers tend to those lucky voyagers, which luxuriate in an on-board circular swimming pool and access the ship via a helicopter port.

The yacht’s primary suite is nothing if not grand, featuring 180-degree views from its king-size bed along with its own study and al fresco terrace with private sunbed and Jacuzzi. There are five additional guest suites — all with their own private baths. Just beyond is an open-air living layout complete with a range of bespoke contemporary furnishings across the boat’s nearly half-dozen passenger decks.

Outside the amenities are just as abundant and include an onboard beach club with a lounge, bar, sauna, terrace and hammam/shower. All are ideal locations to rest and recharge after a workout in the yacht’s wellness center. On the main deck, there’s a nearly 20-foot-long infinity pool, while that helipad can easily convert into a dance floor.

The love boat

Completely futuristic and totally cool, the 180-foot-long Come Together is the ultimate example of stealth wealth on the high seas. Completed just two years ago by the Dutch firm Amels and currently on the market for a cool $65 million, Come Together features an unmistakable architecturally styled exterior reminiscent of a city-center skyscraper.

The boat can house up to 14 guests and 13 crew members within its unmissable steel hull and an aluminum-clad super structure — all cruising at a top speed of 15.5 knots.

The boat’s expansive master suite is set within its main deck and features sprawling storage space, a dressing room as well as his and hers bathrooms. There are an additional VIP cabin, two double cabins and two further cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. Up top, there’s a fully equipped gym and Jacuzzi — while a set of Jet Skis, water skis and hover-like Seabob watercraft keep the fun going just off deck. Come Together’s unique underwater lighting system also delivers a strong dose of excitement come nighttime and is the perfect way to enjoy an after-hours swim.

Want more? Then don’t forget about the on-board wakeboards, paddleboards and snorkeling equipment. And, when the moment strikes to head from the boat to land, travel could not be easier thanks to an easy-access 30-foot Limo Tender.

The cordial cruiser

Exterior of Hospitality.

The aptly named Hospitality ticks off the right boxes when it comes to superyacht bells and whistles. This twin-engine beauty can house up to 16 passengers along with 11 crew at a maximum cruising speed of 24 knots. Built back in 2011 by Westport Yachts here in the US, Hospitality — which is currently on the market for just under $30 million — underwent a comprehensive retrofit in 2021.

Along with all of the requisite yachting toys — Jet Skis, Seabobs and paddleboards — Hospitality includes a grand private owner’s suite with its own private relaxation balcony, seven cabins along with a relaxation room that can be used as a gym or spa and meticulously designed public spaces across is handful of decks. There’s also a handy tender for quick — or, not so quick — jaunts to the shore for dining and shopping.

Hospitality mostly cruises the Caribbean to New England, making the most of Northern Hemisphere winters.

10 of the biggest yachts at this year's Palm Beach International Boat Show

long beach yacht club fireworks

The Palm Beach International Boat Show returns to West Palm Beach's waterfront from March 21-24 — bringing with it some of the largest, most luxurious yachts in the world.

The Super Yacht Show Palm Beach features a range of boats that are longer than 100 feet, including 18 that are longer than 151 feet.

Here's a look at 10 of the biggest boats that visitors to the show can experience up close.

Come Together

This 197-foot behemoth with a price tag that starts at $59.95 million makes it the most expensive boat for sale at the 2024 Palm Beach International Boat Show.

Come Together provides plenty of space and amenities to do as its name suggests and bring more than a dozen people together for an adventure at sea, according to its listing on the show's website.

It was built in 2022 by Amels and features a hybrid propulsion system. The interiors were done by Winch Design of London, with materials including Jerusalem limestone, light matte oak and walnut, and bronze. The ship's six cabins can house up to 14 guests, the listing said.

A 27-meter sun deck features a Jacuzzi with a sunbathing area, gym equipment, sheltered bar and wind-protected dining table.

You can find Come Together in the water at Ramps C and D.

Hospitality

Want to buy the 164-foot Hospitality? The price starts at $29.75 million, according to the yacht's listing on the boat show's website.

The Westport-built vessel was first constructed in 2011 and refit in 2021. It has seven cabins that can accommodate 16 guests. That includes a primary suite and a VIP suite. It also features a sun deck with a hot tub and sunbathing area.

The ship has traveled "to some of the world's most remote places with an impressive 4,000+ nautical mile range," its listing said.

You can find Hospitality in the water at Ramp E at the show.

The 155-foot Ancora was just completed in August by manufacturer Mengi Yay, its listing said. It is being presented by Fraser Yachts.

Ancora was built for charter use and has a master suite with a private balcony, plus four staterooms including two doubles and two convertibles, allowing for up to 10 guests, the listing said.

Summer charter rates with Fraser run from about $282,000 per week in the western Mediterranean Sea to about $260,000 per week in the winter in the Caribbean, according to Fraser's website .

You can find Ancora in the water at Ramp 2.

Next Chapter

This Benetti-built vessel is 180 feet and 6 inches and was built in 2003 with a refit in 2022, the listing said.

Next Chapter's six cabins — including a split-level master suite with an observation lounge and private study — can accommodate up to 13 people. It features a Jacuzzi, gym and beach club, and is built for charter use, the listing said.

The price starts at $19.9 million, and the ship is being presented at the show by The International Yacht Co.

Next Chapter will be in the water at Ramp E.

For $21 million, you can be the new owner of the Feadship-built Berilda, a 155-foot yacht built in 2001 and refit in 2020-21, according to its listing.

The yacht has "the highest pedigree with a documented history of excellent owners and meticulous care," the listing said. That ownership includes Royal Swedish Yacht Club member Sten Tegner, and Richard and Leslie Fairbanks.

The current owner bought Berilda in 2021 and has sailed across the Atlantic Ocean twice and through Europe, New England, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, the listing said. The yacht features six cabins for up to 14 people and quarters for a crew of up to 10.

Berilda will be in water at Ramp C.

Liberty, built by Trinity, is 187 feet and 2 inches, according to its listing. The yacht is designed for entertaining, the listing said, with social spaces including a dance floor.

Liberty was built in 2012, with work including a paint job, main engine rebuild, new generators and 10-year survey completed since 2018. The price starts at $24.75 million and the ship is being shown by The International Yacht Co.

The yacht has six cabins for 12 guests, with additional capacity for 13 crew, the listing said.

Named simply W, this 188-foot Feadship yacht is being shown by its manufacturer, according to its listing.

The vessel, originally launched as Larisa in 2013, had a major refit in 2020 and was renamed at that time, the listing said. W's owner changed the livery and antifouling, among other alterations, over the past 10 months, the listing said.

W will be in the water at Ramp C.

Priced at $20.9 million and being shown by exhibitor FGI Yacht Group, the 164-foot Tsumat was built by Trinity in 2012 and refit last year, according to its listing.

The exterior was designed by Geoff Van Aller. The interior by Ramón Alonso features leather, suede, marble and walnut, with onyx floors.

There are six staterooms for up to 12 guests and housing for a 10-person crew, the listing said.

Tsumat will be in the water at Ramps 2 and D.

The Nita K II is about 171 feet and was built by Amels in 2004, the listing said. It's priced starting at $23.9 million and presented by Merle Wood & Associates.

A refit in 2021-22 included an overhaul of the main engines and generators, and a 20-year Lloyd's class special survey was completed earlier this year, the listing said.

The interior was designed by Alberto Pinto and Laura Sessa, and the yacht can accommodate up to 12 people in five staterooms, plus room for 14 crew members in seven cabins, the listing said.

Nita K II will be in the water at Ramp D.

If it tells you anything about the level of luxury aboard the BG Charade, this 157-foot yacht was built by Feadship in 1990 for the late Paul Allen of Microsoft, the listing said. Under Allen, the BG Charade completed three circumnavigations and served as the honeymoon venue for Bill and Melinda Gates.

A technical and cosmetic refit was completed in 2016 and included new generators, rebuilt engines, new teak on the exterior and a complete electrical system update, the listing said.

BG Charade has six cabins for up to 12 guests, plus accommodations for up to 10 crew, the listing said.

The yacht will be in the water at Ramp 7.

Bonus: Talisman C

The epically long — 231.6 feet — and super-luxurious Talisman C, built by Turquoise in 2011, will be shown by Burgess Yachts in the water at Ramps D and E.

Time for a bigger boat? Check out what the Palm Beach International Boat Show has to offer

long beach yacht club fireworks

Whether you're the son of a son of a sailor or even just love that song and want to know more, the granddaddy of all boating events is happening this weekend along the West Palm Beach waterfront.

That's right, the Palm Beach International Boat Show is back for four glorious days along Flagler Drive.

This will be the 42nd annual event, and organizers promise it will be bigger and better than ever.

There will be $1.2 billion worth of Bond-worthy super yachts, cruisers, sportfishing boats, center consoles and even inflatables to see and tour, along with attractions and activities highlighting the latest in boat engines, motors and accessories. There will also be the latest fishing gear and even fishing seminars.

Yes, it's a big event, but don't be intimidated. In fact, here are seven fun facts about the show:

How many boats can this boat show boast?

There will be more than 800 boats on display along the floating docks in the Intracoastal Waterway.

What is the biggest boat at the boat show?

With a length of 236 feet (and 38 feet wide), Casino Royale takes the title for largest boat this year. This gorgeous yacht, designed for her exterior lines by Francesco Paszkowski with interior by Paszkowski’s interior lead designer Margherita Casprini, is also one of the most technically advanced yachts in her category. Casino Royale is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516B main engines and has an impressive top speed of 17.5 knots. You can put your checkbooks away for this one, however, as she is only on display and not for sale.

This boat is the boat show's most epensive

Built in 2022 and 196-feet long, Come Together is listed for $59,950,000. This expedition yacht was delivered by the Dutch shipyard Amels and features interior styling by British designer Winch Design. It can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins along with 14 crew members.

Are spectators allowed to go on the boats?

To go onboard the yachts and superyachts, visitors must make an appointment with the brokers. For the smaller boats, however, spectators can come onboard if they are interested in buying.

What is the smallest boat?

The smallest boat being displayed on the water is a runabout boat that is 22-feet-6-inches long, and 5-feet-11 wide. It is manufactured by Hermes.

Eating inside the boat show

The show will have dozens of food concessions featuring almost anything you could be craving, from Greek gyros to woodfired picanha, authentic street tacos and hand-crafted burgers. On a seafood diet? Enjoy fresh stone crab claws, calamari, oysters, and much more! Vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten-free? No problem; they have options for you as well.

And libations at the boat show?

Of course there will be drinks. To be precise, there will be four bars for general admission guests, including two floating cocktail barges: the Goslings Island Bar and the Anheuser-Busch Barge. In addition there will be multiple bars in the Windward VIP Club.
