Built at the Ferretti Group Ancona facilities in Italy, the 42.98m (141'0") the PERSHING 140 motor yacht TOUCH ME features naval architecture by Fulvio De Simoni in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by engineer Piero Ferrari, as well as the Group's Engineering Department. Her accommodation sleeps up to eight guests across four spacious cabins. Her interiors and exterior lines were also created by Fulvio De Simoni.

The main deck aft has an alfresco dining area for 10 shaded by the flybridge overhang. Two sets of stairs lead down to a larger, lower deck space in the sunshine where guests can take in the sweeping views from the aft-facing sofas and armchairs, or the double sunbeds. Two final sets of stairs connect to the lower deck swim platform, which create a desirable place to relax beside the water, with shade provided by the beach club.

The side walkways and stairs lead from the main deck up to the foredeck, where there is an abundance of space for sunbeds, a C-shaped sofa and raised table, and a Jacuzzi. The flybridge aft, accessed via a stairway from the port main deck aft, provides sunbeds along the stern and amidships beneath the hardtop a wet bar to port and a lounging/dining area to starboard.

The lower deck places the guest accommodation forward and amidships, with the crew accommodation, mess and laundry facilities amidships and the aft section containing the engine room and then the beach club/tender garage with fold down terraces on both sides.

The Master suite is placed forward on the main deck, with its own private lounge/office to starboard, and the Captains' cabin to port. The galley is amidships and the formal dining area and main salon are combined in the aft. The formal dining area can seat up to 12 guests in comfort, and after a meal guests can relax on the C-shaped sofa and savour drinks over conversation or the latest blockbusters on the widescreen TV. The starboard corner conceals a day head, while the port corner has a stairway down to the crew accommodation.

The pilothouse is accessed via a stairway beside the Captain's cabin, and there is access to the flybridge aft.

TOUCH ME Specifications

The quadruple MTU 16V 2000 M96L Diesel engines give a maximum speed of 38 knots, a cruising speed of 35 knots and a range of 1,400 nautical miles at an economical 10 knots.

Accommodation is for ten in five cabins with the owner taking a full-beam master suite on the forward part of the main deck and four other cabins provide overnight lodging for the eight guests. For crew, there are enough cabins to sleep up to seven. Unlike the first unit, which was fitted out at the owner’s request with an entertainment room, this unit has a full-beam private master suite with double bed, entered through the owner’s studio and small lounge. The layout is completed by a roomy walk-in wardrobe and a big bathroom. Luxury finishes and furnishings have not been left out on this build either. Touch Me also features the finest materials and furniture produced by top luxury designers, including longtime Pershing partner P oltrona Frau, Minotti, Artemide, Roche Bobois, Molteni and Fontana Arte .

Touch Me is capable of a staggering 38-knots at the top-end and fast cruising at 35-knots. This performance is provided by not two but four MTU engines. The 42.98-meter vessel has a beam of 8.5-meters. The Ferretti Group will be showing off this new vessel next month at a private showing at the Monaco Yacht Club. The Pershing 140 series doesn't end with Touch Me as there is a third hull presently under construction at the Ancona shipyard with launching expected in 2021. Full stabilizer rebuild and retro refit including hydraulics and pump and motor overhauls. Bow thruster removed and rebuilt. Anchors re-­galvanized. Anchor windlasses rebuilt. Bow capstans rebuilt. Main shafts removed, checked and new bearings installed. Rudders removed, new bearings and hydraulics refitted. Props removed and checked and reworked to “S” Class. Complete DMP monitoring system rebuild including new sensors and calibration and new computers. All fuel, fresh water, black water, grey water, oil and dirty oil tanks, thoroughly cleaned, inspected, sandblasted and re-coated where necessary. New anti-fouling paint and zinc anodes. Passerelle removed, rebuilt and painted. Crew areas fitted with new TV’s, DVD players and controls. New ships management and inventory system by Triton Administrator. The system has been fully implemented and documented by Touch’s engineer.
