Important deadlines and information about the 2022 Immunolin F18 World Championships

“We are very excited to have the 2022 Immunolin F18 World Championships coming to Clearwater Beach, FL in October 2022. We already have 36 boats registered with 9 countries. GET REGISTERED! then make sure to pay by the deadlines to insure your discount. If you are already registered but not paid, you must pay by March 31 to obtain the early registration discount. We will have activities happening from October 6th on thru the close of the event on October 16th, 2022.”
COMMUNICATION
It is important to like the Red Gear Racing Facebook page as that is where announcements will be regularly made regarding the event. In addition, we are posting information all the time on the website F18World2022.org .

Deadline is approaching to qualify for early registration! It is the end of this month! See NoR :
4 ENTRY FEES 4.1 Entries with confirmed payment: 4.1.1 No later than March 31, 2022, will pay an early entry fee of $375.00 USD. 4.1.2 From April 1, 2022, and no later than August 31, 2022 will pay an entry fee of $425.00 USD. 4.1.3 From September 1, 2022, registration will be subject to OA approval and will pay a late entry fee of $500.00 USD. 4.1.4 Youth Sailors born prior to 1999, will receive a $100.00 USD entry discount. 4.2 The entry fee has to be paid via the online entry form on the event website. The Organizing Authority will be authorized to collect the entry fee electronically. 4.3 If an entry is cancelled by the competitor, the entry fee will be refunded as follows: – Cancellation Date Entry Fee Refund: – Through July 1, 2022 100% less $50 Administrative Fee – July 1 – August 15, 2022 100% less $100 Administrative Fee – After August 15, 2022 No refund

Good to see Italian sailors going for a new F18 design. Past years another custom F18 was born there designed & built by Luca Filippi, the 'Banga' . Banga looks great and had good performance and travelled to St Barts also. But Luca is now busy building the Nr 1 racing Kitefoil , named 'Banga' too.
