Cruising in a 45-foot (14-mt.) sailboat means plenty of room to relax on deck, and the captain will tailor the day to your interests, whether you’re sailing to Comino and Blue Lagoon or headed to the island’s rugged southern coast. Private charter ensures personalized service. Start the day with coffee on board. Route: On the day of the sailing trip, you can decide the route and stops together with your skipper. The skipper will make sure to advise you of any particular weather conditions to ensure to have a smooth sail. You can help the skipper with sails, or just sit back and relax. The boat: The boat is an Elan Impression 45FT from the year 2020. The boat comes with all safety equipment for adults and children. It has plenty of space to relax. It has 2 bathrooms on board with showers and deck shower. There is a comfortable table to have lunch on deck and inside. There is a fridge abd a cooler for ice. There is a big bimini with large shaded area on the outside and swimming platform. The boat cruises at 7-8 knots of speed with engine and she is ready to sail. Food on board: You can bring your own food and drinks on board. It is not allowed to cook on board to keep the boat as much clean and tidy for the next guests. So the food has to be ready. We collaborate with a close by restaurant and we have prepared a small menu that you can order from and we make sure you find your order ready on board before departure. We will send it to you after we receive your booking.

When we arrived at the marina the boat was so lovely. Evgheni was a great sailor and we all felt in good hands! We mistakenly didn’t bring enough food and he went out of his way to give us some of his grandma’s lasagne (which was amazing) and lots of snacks. Everywhere we visited was stunning but the highlight of the day was sailing around with Evgheni’s great company!! We set off mid-afternoon so still had lots of daylight and headed over the the blue lagoon at Comino, which was Evgheni's suggestion, and it was absolutely perfect. Our leisurely ride back as the sun set was spectacular. The boat itself was modern, comfortable and we were all made to feel at home straight away. Evgheni was able to read our group perfectly, leaving us to chill out as a group at times but also being at the heart of the chat at others. The boat is beautiful and the facilities on board are excellent. We took the boat out for the whole day private charter and we felt soo special and exclusive. Marie Clare was a great host and made our family feel very welcomed and our little nephew (6 years) loved the whole experience. Felt like meeting good old friends. so friendly these two! Then we took off. Started off with the stunning views of fortifications around Valletta and Manuel island. Off to our way to Comino not just blue lagoon, But even other hidden beaches where it was not so crowded. Just perfect we swam. We dived off the cliffs in the turquoise seas. They even offered us their snorkeling equipment because we forgot ours!. Then we took off for Gozo. Where we finished our adventure with the Sailing boat. All the arrangements were seamless with quick, practical responses and very willing to find an alternative day for us when the weather forecast wasnt so good. The Marina was easy to find and there was parking onsite. We set off out of the beautiful Valletta harbor into the inky blue sea with fabulous views of the Malta coastline. Evgheni and Marie-Clare were warm, welcoming and great hosts sharing their lives and love of Malta and the sea and before long we felt like we were with old friends. The boat is really well equipped with plenty of space (sun and shade) and room to store all our things and keep food cold. We had 3 stops to swim in the perfect crystal clear turquoise sea before a leisurely sail back to Valletta at the end of the day. It was everything we could have hoped for. What to see:

Valletta , Malta's historic capital with its impressive bastions and the ancient walled city of Mdina with its labyrinth of streets lit by lamps at night will excite you. 

Other sights include St. Paul’s Catacombs , the Roman cemetery in Rabat., the Dingli Cliffs or swimming at St Peter’s Pool at Marsaxlokk, a beautiful natural pool.

Are you a fresh seafood lover? Then plentiful options await including bass, grouper, bream and mullet. 

Local dishes like Lampuki Pie, Kapunata ratatouille and a broad bean pate known as Bigilla are not to be missed.

Malta has a dry, Mediterranean climate, offering a typical long sailing season. 

Spring temperatures are around  25o C, while summer ones reach around 30oC on average. Malta has low rainfall, which peaks during late fall and winter. Sailing conditions in Malta offer plenty of opportunities for sheltered bays and anchorages. 

Winds blow at an average of 2-3 Beaufort scale and there are several wind systems, including the prominent northwesterly gregale which brings dry weather and the sirocco which beings hot, humid weather from Africa.

Flying from the UK, Air Malta offers flights from Gatwick and Heathrow, while EasyJet offers flights from Gatwick, Manchester and Newcastle. 

Our US Customers can fly from New York to Malta International Airport (MLA) via Munich or Frankfurt with United Airlines and Lufthansa, or from Los Angeles via London Heathrow Virgin Atlantic and Air Malta.

• Sailing in Sicily is possible, but you will need to be an experienced sailor to do so (around 60 NM). 
• A sailing license is mandatory for sailing in Malta.
• The local spoken language is the Malti, but English, French, Italian and Spanish are widely spoken as well.
