GhostBar Rooftop Bar Las Vegas
Ultra-chic rooftop lounge with 360-degree panoramics over Las Vegas.
Perched on the 55th floor of the luxurious Palms Casino Resort you find GhostBar, a reappeared Las Vegas nightlife icon. Debuting as a sky-high hot-spot already in 2001, the venue was replaced by APEX Social Club in 2018, but since summer 2022, like a magic trick, GhostBar is back.
Sleek, intimate and inviting, the prime feature of GhostBar rooftop must be the view. Mind blowing panoramics over Las Vegas, from the Red Rocks to the the famed Strip, there is literally no point in the city that is not visible.
The 8,000 square foot venue comes with both indoor and outdoor lounge, and it is equipped with lots of different lounge seatings. Open from 7pm Wen-Sat, this is a night time destination where you can enjoy local and national DJ's and a vibrant and upscale atmosphere, mixing bar and nightclub vibes in a great way.
The rooftop bar offers crafted mixology cocktails, both signatures and classics, along with bubbles and spirits by the bottle.
GhostBar is definitely one of the most iconic and best rooftop bars Las Vegas has to offer , and it is a popular place and only open at limited times, so the best best is to make reservations for a patio couch before you visit.

Palms in Las Vegas to bring back iconic Ghostbar
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) - Have fond memories of visits to the Ghostbar at the Palms in Las Vegas? Here’s some good news ... The property is bringing the bar back.
In a January tweet, the Palms shared that when the property reopens, it would bring back the iconic Ghostbar. The tweet noted that Ghostbar is “long known for offering some of the best views of the Las Vegas Strip.”
Earlier this week, the Palms announced it would reopen its doors on April 27 after being closed since March 2020.
While Ghostbar is coming back to the property, a representative for the Palms said it won’t be as soon as the resort reopens.
According to the Palms, the Ghostbar is set to reopen in the summer, which an official announcement to come soon.
The San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board in December to license and operate the casino.
Cynthia Kiser Murphey, general manager of the off-Strip property, told casino regulators in December that she hopes to bring back up to 600 of nearly 1,200 former workers when the resort reopens in the spring. No date has been announced.

At nightfall, the party is just getting started high in the Vegas sky. Located on the iconic 55th floor of the Palms Casino & Resort, Ghostbar will offer an Instagram-worthy panoramic 360-degree view of Las Vegas, which, thanks to its distinct outdoor patio, also turns the 8,000-square-foot-space into an open-air social club. Contemporary, yet approachable finishes accompanied by sounds from local and national DJ's will greet guests upon arrival to Ghostbar. Guests will also be surrounded by four one-of-a-kind art sculptures, which will serve as a focal point to the room, creating a sophisticated, upscale vibe. To complement the stunning view and venue, bartenders and mixologists will craft to-die-for cocktails and age-old favorites served over a graphite and sapphire bar. Guests can also indulge in VIP bottle service, all while peering down on the bustling city below. You know what they say, a good view never goes out of style, but trust us, you've never seen Vegas like this. …

Very pretty club with an amazing view! This is the rooftop club at the palms and it's so gorgeous up there! This very windy so don't expect your hair and skirt to stay in one place but it makes a nice change from the sweltering strip or other inside/outside venues like XS. There's a guest list and the promoters that my girl group got hooked up with will give free entry and 2 free drinks if you arrive by 10:30pm. The free drinks could be beer, wine, or well vodka, whisky or tequila - vodka soda it is! It's decorated really sexy with bottle service both inside and outside. I love the big parade of lights and marquee they do when they present the table with the bottle! I saw many signs that said "Happy Birthday _______" as they walked the bottle over which would make such a cute picture if you were throwing a bday party! The music was good but the dance floor was super small so people were mostly dancing in their bottle service areas - which is fair - just interesting business choice to take away community dance floor space in order to sell more bottle service. I see you Palms! lol All in all, although this is off strip, I'd definitely go back! I Am a sucker for a rooftop bar and this one gives you an amazing view of the entire Vegas strip! Looooove!
I haven't been to an actual club in forever and since it was my sister's birthday, I was excited to go! I loved how they remodeled the entire hotel with cute decor! This place sets the tone to my liking, for sure. This club used to be the Ghost Bar and it's still set up the same way, just minor changes with decor and such. At first, I got a good vibe from the hosts and bouncers but once we got into the club, the servers and bartenders sucked. Their customer service and just all around attitude killed my buzz. I seriously suggest getting a table when you decide to come to Apex because that's where all the staff centered their attention to. The music was so good, better than your average club. I'd suggest this place if you want to stay away from all that techno/rave music. Don't get me wrong, I like listening to techno type of music but not when I'm out at the club...more so for working out. All in all, get a table and you'll make your time here worthwhile. We decided to venture off to the bar downstairs and had more fun there.
Perched atop the original Palms tower, the Ghostbar location comes back to life as Apex Social Club. The ambiance is an indoor/outdoor ultra lounge with a truly world class Las Vegas view that makes it a can't lose spot for a cocktail...or bottle. The bar/lounge/club has a modern design with the appropriate sound, lighting and attention to detail. Apex Social Club features 4 Damien Hirst sculptures which are worth the price of admission. We came for the soft opening and had a great time, impressed by the reinvention of this worthwhile location. Hopefully Stations Casinos can keep Palms relevant so that this well executed "Social Club" can thrive.

If your have any pigment dont come here. Period. The staff treat you as such. Even if your in mixed company. Me: walk up to bar Bartender: do you want a drink? (Why else would i be here) Me: yes. Grey goose and ginger. Bartender: (ginger first and not 3 seconds of vodka and doesn't measure a shot) ..... White patron: entire shot and a splash a ginger
I have always wanted to visit the Palms Hotel even check out a rooftop bar to see what's its like viewing Las Vegas at night. This time I went with a friend to Las Vegas who likes going dancing and having fun so I had the opportunity to check this place out. There is a nice size lounge area and outside area. Security people are outside to make sure people don't get too wild and crazy that they fall or jump off the rooftop bar being too drunk. The DJ plays some good upbeat dancing music here and there were a good amount of people here that were having a good time. I just had a Shirley Temple when I don't drink much it was good too. Good bar to check out that's away from The Stripe.
View At Night
We were there this past Saturday to celebrate a close friends 40th birthday and had an amazing time with all our friends. I have to appreciate certain staff members who made us feel very special with an awesome attitude while we all were there . Our hostess Destiny was absolutely amazing and made sure everyone in the group had an amazing time and stayed on top of everything . Last but not least Brandon ( security gentleman ) was a thorough gentleman and made sure we all felt special and took very good care of us . Will definitely be back soon !! The staff was very professional and what a fun place to spend Saturday evening .
It's all hype, I personally think it is overrated and yes this is my opinion. That lack luster of "poppin bottles", the rooftop lost its momentum with us the minute we walked in. Ok well let me retract a little here, that view of Vegas is on point and our server tried her best to keep us accommodated in the VIP area. In fairness I will keep it at 3 stars so you can keep on pumping your fists to that proverbial beat. Short and sweet which makes this review complete.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! the guest list "manager" named JOSE was very DISCRIMINATORY to me and my friends both of us were on separate guest list and he claimed were weren't. I found out from no cover night clubs that we were and he lied! My friend also called her guest list team they also confirmed that she was on the guest list too. He still continued to lie and claim we weren't. He also sent us to the back of the long line after we step to the side to make a call to the guest list reps. WARNING DO NOT COME TO THIS CLUB THEY ARE VERY JUDGMENTAL AND RUDE!! JOSE SHOULD NOT BE THERE HE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE and I am very hurt and highly dissatisfied! This is BAD BUSINESS!!
Update: Came back to Vegas in February and had to visit this gem again with new friends. Again, the ambience and professionalism was ON POINT. I cannot imagine coming to Vegas and not spending a few hours at APEX! ------------------------------------------------ Out of all of the nights spots we checked out, APEX was by far the group's favourite. The DJ was awesome and super friendly (he played 50 Cent per my request and wished us a happy birthday), drinks were free for ladies and security was freakin' awesome too! This place is exactly what I feel Vegas was missing - a classy venue with standards. Thank you to the owners of APEX for bringing this gem into our lives... We will be back! Also, the view is EPIC!

Do not recommend this lounge at all. Do NOT waste your time. No where on their website does it say ladies NEED to wear heels to get in. My friend had flats on and Jose who clammed he was the manager said she couldn't get in but yet he was wearing flats. Seems like he needs to be following the rules as well

Review of Ghostbar
Let's start with the awesome view of the strip from the outside balcony. If you prefer inside you can be more by the music and the DJ. There were good beats and our group had a great time at. Date published: 06/24/2016 5 / 5 stars Michelle N. ,

So you're not on the Las Vegas Strip but you still want to party, and maybe you have a friend who's really afraid of heights and you think that's funny. The Palms Hotel and Casino has a spot you’ll want to frequent and your friend will probably hate you forever for taking them to. Ghostbar is a nightclub and lounge with a view of Las Vegas that's hard to get without scaling a casino in a Spider-Man outfit. But when you're not getting arrested for actually doing something cool in a costume in Las Vegas, Ghostbar has the view and the allure to make your night more memorable than that selfie you took with Spongebob.
Since we're already talking about the view, we'll finish that up by saying that hanging out 55 stories above the ground is one of those experiences that's truly Vegas. Sure, there are probably other cities where you can do that. We don't know and we don't feel like researching it. But we do know that when you've got a desert climate and an all-night mentality, creating a rooftop nightclub is as easy as finding a roof and putting Ghostbar on top of it. Then, if you're a crazy person, you can install a glass floor in one section so people can stare down into their doom. Ghostbar did that and you can look through it. Just don't blame us if you freak the funk out.
Back inside, where the floor is just a floor, albeit a gorgeous white tile one with bold carpet, the vibe is more like an upscale lounge you'd find in the lobby of a hotel going for the nightlife and gambling crowd. Palms decided to put it on the roof, and we think that decision worked out for the best. With leather sofas set atop deep and sensual carpet, all offset by the openness and the light colors of the ceiling and walls, Ghostbar gives you the contrast you need to remember you're drinking and dancing in Las Vegas but can't just stroll out the door to hit up the next hotspot.
Ghostbar, being off the Strip and up in the air, probably isn't the place you include on a night strung from one club to the next. It could be the place you spend a whole night. It could also be the place you go the next day for Ghostbar Dayclub. Just remember that Ghostbar is a party with a view, so you might have to sacrifice the second half of 'see and be seen.' But with a lineup of great DJs and fantastic special party events, there's more than enough to see at Ghostbar.

Ghostbar Ultra Lounge Finally Returns to the Palms

Ghostbar debuted at the Palms Casino Resort in 2001 as one of the best views in the city. Perched atop the 55th floor, the popular bar and lounge looked out over the entire Las Vegas skyline and became a destination for both locals and visitors alike. This summer, it finally reopens.
The nighttime hotspot shuttered abruptly in September 2017 as part of a series of closures and renovations ahead of the opening of Kaos Dayclub & Nightclub at the Palms. Clique Hospitality opened Apex Social Club in May 2018, taking over the Ghostbar space. When the Palms reopened in April under the new ownership of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, following the pandemic-triggered closure, Apex did not reopen with it.
In what the Palms is calling a “ghostly disappearing act,” Ghostbar will be back on August 3. Visitors to the revived space will be whisked up via a private elevator to the 55th floor. The lounge offers views of Red Rock Canyon, downtown Las Vegas, and the Strip. An outdoor deck lives just off the side of the building, where a translucent barrier provides a background of the Las Vegas skyline.
Pop-up performances will intermingle with music provided by deejays, live bands, and local artist Midnight Skye. The new thematic cocktail menu includes the Witching Hour with gin and elderflower tonic, the Ghost Story with spicy tequila, strawberry, peach, and basil, and the shareable $95 Witches Brew.
Ghostbar underwent a renovation back in 2013, in which its green and gray color scheme was replaced with chandeliers, a fireplace of candles, and a palette of whites, blacks and fuchsias. When Apex took over, it did so with dark furnishings, a metal-trimmed bar, and 3,000-pound humanoid sculptures encased in glass.
The Palms has described the new Ghostbar only as sleek, intimate, and inviting.
