Bluewater Bay Marina Complex

Marina, bar, restaurant, ship's store boat storage (indoor & out), restaurant, bar, boating & fun.

The marina complex is home to over 120 boat slips, indoor boat storage, a ship/tackle store, and LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant & Oyster Bar.

The Ships Store sells nautical hardware, clothing, Columbia Sportswear, BWB Marina Tervis Tumblers, Rainbow Sandals, Costa Del Mar eyewear, and Gill Foul Weather Gear, snacks, drinks, toiletries, sundries, clothing, souvenirs, galley goods and much more.

They have a fully-stocked tackle store with fishing and hunting licenses sold at the Dry Storage Facility .

Enjoy gorgeous marina water views / sunsets and great food at LJ Schooners & Oyster Bar . They often have live music, sponsor a monthly chess night and weekly paddle board races, and have weekly / daily food specials. Seating is both indoor and out!

Parking is easy and plentiful.

This really seemed like a cool little place. We only stopped by for a couple of appetizers and drinks. Oysters with jalapeños were excellent. Bartender was very friendly and welcoming. Cant wait to go back for a complete supper.

This marina is awesome! The slip fee is fair; people are nice and family friendly atmosphere. The area is quiet and there's Winn Dixie and nice laundry mat within 2 miles from the marina. There's also Publix. Walmart and grocery outlet within five miles. The marina is clean and they have bands playing on weekends and plenty of activities for the family. The food is comparable with other marinas and prices are fair. There's private bathrooms/showers for slip renters. The bathrooms are clean, but they could be cleaner.

Bluewater Bay is a great marina and has excellent restaurants. The bands that play on the weekend are first class and it's a great place to watch the sunset.

Love, love, love this marina! Everything a boater needs... And them some! We stayed in a transient slip for a couple months. The staff is friendly and professional, and they go out of their way to help. For the boat, pretty quiet and protected cove. On demand pump out boat. Fuel dock. Repair Shop and maintenance crew on premises. High and dry storage around the corner. Ships store for a lot of what you need, courtesy car to get the rest. For the crew, clean showers!!! Bar, paddleboard rentals, restaurant, and picnic tables at the top of the dock. Passes to local pool available at the ship store. Grocery nearby. For the kids, safe shallow beach (right near the bar) usually full of local kids ready to play and find hermit crabs, minnows and crabs. Cannot say enough good stuff about this place... Especially the staff, might have to add them to the Christmas card list!

Staff was friendly. They have a bar area overlooking parts of the marina. Bathrooms were old, but clean. There is a gift shop area and shady parking if you drove instead of boated in. Boat fuel station. Slips have power. My friend, who left his boat there for a few days, said the rates were low.

This marina is a peaceful stay with many locals stopping by the restaurant and bar for the very fine food. We stayed for three days. They offered us a vehicle to use to run to the store to restock our supplies. We did so as well as took a look around Niceville. I would recommend this marina to all adults traveling without kids. Not much to do for kids.

Mariners are lit by morning sunlight as they motor past the Walton Lighthouse at the mouth of the Santa Cruz Harbor. With anglers landing their limit of halibut in local waters, the mouth of the harbor is a busy conduit to the bounty of the sea. According to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s website, the recreational fishery for California halibut remains open year-round. The daily bag and total possession limit is two fish north of Point Sur, Monterey County. South of Point Sur, Monterey County, the daily bag and total possession limit is five fish. The minimum size limit is 22 inches total length.
