Nassau Catamaran Sailing and Snorkeling Tour

There's something special about the serenity of a Sail and Snorkel Cruise across the blue waters of the Bahamas. With the whisper of the waves on the hull and the gentle warm ocean breezes across the bow, you will soon feel your cares slipping away on Nassau tours like this.

Board your waiting catamaran and set out on an adventure to one of the most beautiful reefs near Nassau. The boat features a spacious deck area, shaded as well as open to the warm Bahamian sun, so there is a place for everyone attending this Nassau catamaran tour. The boat also has two bathrooms on board. As you sail to the reef, your crew will pass out the included snorkeling gear and give instruction on snorkeling.

Depending on the sea and weather conditions that day, your captain will set a course to a location where you will have the best Nassau snorkeling experience. Upon arrival at the snorkeling spot, your crew will join you in the water to answer any questions or concerns you might have about snorkeling before you explore the wonderful underwater world of coral and marine life. Snorkeling is from the boat in water that will be over your head. Flotation vests are required while in the water and come in large and small sizes. You'll need to provide your own vests for small children and infants. Time at the reef is approximately 60 minutes. As water temperature is usually 75-80 degrees in the winter and warmer in the summer months, wetsuits are not required or provided.

After your time in the water, climb back on board via the snorkeler friendly "Stairway to the Sea," and feel the wind in your hair as your catamaran makes the approximate one-hour sail towards home. There is a one hour open bar for the ride back to the marina so enjoy a nice cocktail! The boat returns to Paradise Island and you will disembark near the Atlantis Resort. Guests are responsible for their own transportation back to the cruise pier at their own expense (not included).

Please Note: It is the captain's intention to use the sails as often as possible. If for any reason the captain feels the use of sails is not safe or conducive to a prompt return, whether it is related to weather, mechanical, or any other unforeseen situation, they will use the motor.

Enjoy the shaded lounge area, covered bar and spacious deck for sunbathing. Take in the stunning views of Nassau as you cruise to one of Bahamas world famous reefs. Reef Snorkeling: As you approach the reef, snorkeling gear and instructions will be provided by the knowledgeable crew who will also accompany you into the waters to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Discover the underworld that thrives beneath the surface, filled with vibrant tropical fish and marine life. Dance and Rum Punch: After snorkeling, enjoy the island music and complimentary rum punch as the sails are raised for the voyage back to port. What’s Included:

Accessibility: Tour is ambulatory accessible; you must be able to take a few steps (up/down) and walk short distances. Collapsible wheelchair can be stored if advanced notice is given; see the Shore Excursions desk on board. Scooters cannot be accommodated. Requirements & Restrictions: Minimum age to snorkel – 5 years. For safety reasons, pregnant women, and guests with heart or respiratory conditions may not participate in this excursion. CRUISE SHIP GUESTS: Head to East Marina Ferry Terminal Boarding Area, follow signs to Zone 2 Yellow zone located between berths 2 and 3 on the east side of the pier, look for our representative.

NON-CRUISE SHIP GUESTS: Our tours depart from Paradise Island Ferry Terminal Marina (Slip #7), located directly behind the Margaritaville Restaurant in Paradise Island.

Let’s set out on a Sail & Snorkel adventure to one of the most beautiful reefs off Paradise Island, Nassau Bahamas. Our catamaran features spacious deck area, shaded as well as open to the warm Bahamian sun. There is plenty of space for everyone. Snorkel equipment and instruction are included.

Once everyone has boarded, your crew will go over safety instructions and distribute the snorkel gear and floatation devices and the captain will set a course to the reef. Please let the crew know if you can’t swim and they will gladly provide a life vest to you before you enter the water. Upon arrival at the snorkeling location you will be invited to explore the wonderful underwater world of coral and marine life. Flotation vests are required while in the water and come in large and small sizes. Infants and children under the age of 5 and children that are very small in stature will need to bring their own safety vests. Time at the reef is approximately 60 minutes. As water temperature is usually 75-80 degrees in the winter and warmer in the summer months, wetsuits are not required or provided.

After your time in the water, climb back on board and enjoy the wind in your hair as the catamaran begins the one-hour sail towards home. All three of the Seahorse Sailing Adventures catamarans have a fully stocked premium bar onboard. Guests can purchase both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with a major Debit/Credit card. Cash payments are not accepted on any of the tours. The catamaran will make a stop near the cruise pier area on the way back into port for those guests wishing to go back to their ship. Guests can also stay onboard as the boat returns to Paradise Island where you can disembark near the Atlantis Resort. Guests disembarking on Paradise Island are responsible for their own transportation back to the cruise pier at their own expense.

COVID-19 PROTOCOL & PROCEDURES

We would like to reassure all our guests and partners that we are supplementing our existing rigorous health and safety protocol with coronavirus-specific guidance, procedures and training. These measures are in place to ensure a safe and comfortable environment when on board our vessel or visiting our office. We continue to monitor information from World Health Organization (WHO), Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health authorities to ensure that our actions and precautions are comprehensive. Since the guidance from WHO, CDC and local health authorities may change from time to time, we will continue to update our protocols and procedures as necessary to reflect such changes.

We will be conducting social distancing onboard the vessel and operating at a 50% reduction in capacity.

Vessel will be cleaned and disinfected with proper disinfecting solutions prior to boarding, during and after trips.

Guests will be required to sanitize before boarding the vessel and there will be sanitizing stations mounted onboard.

Cashless payment options

Crew members will be required to wear gloves and masks.

Signage/Markings will be placed onboard the vessel to remind staff and guest about social distancing.

Snorkeling gear will be sanitized before and after each use.

All guests will be required to wear a mask, per Bahamas government regulations.
