TP Line is the passenger ferry brand name owned by Tankerska Plovidba shipping company that in 2020 expanded its core business from freight transport to passenger transport, buying the Dubrovnik-based GV Line ferry company that included one fast ferry (Nona Ana) and one concession on a high-speed line, route 9087, connecting Dubrovnik with nearby islands .

Since 2020, TP Line acquired several more vessels:

Anastazija (ex Krilo) , built in Spain in 2018, was previously owned by Kapetan Luka ferry company . The vessel is currently serving Dubrovnik to Lastovo via Korcula year-round fast ferry route.

Aenona (ex Majestic 9) , built in Singapore in 2016, was previously owned by Majestic Fast Ferry Pte Ltd ferry company. Aenona was built in 2016, 33 meters long, and with a capacity of 200 passengers. This vessel replaced Nona Ana on route 9807.

Kolovare (ex-Majestic Liberty) & Puntamika (ex-Majestic Grace) – built in 2019, 39 m long & 317 foot-passenger capacity

You can seasonally travel from the mainland port of Dubrovnik to the island of Brač. Specifically, you can find direct connections to the ports of Bol and Milna in Brač, operated by the companies TP-Line , Jadrolinija and Kapetan Luka - Krilo .

Note : ferry availability and frequency depend on the port of arrival and the companies that are currently in operation.

What’s the ferry schedule from Dubrovnik to Brač?

From April to October , you can find at least 1-2 daily connections to Brač from Dubrovnik.

The earliest ferry from Dubrovnik is scheduled for 07:00 , arriving at the port of Bol in Brač around 11:40. The latest ferry  leaves the port of Dubrovnik at 15:15 , arriving at the port of Milna at 19:50.

Note : Jadrolinija, whose ferries take you to the port of Bol, serves this route only from June to September. If you’re traveling in April or October, you can opt for a TP-Line or Kapetan Luka - Krilo connection instead.

Ferries to Brač depart regularly from the port of Dubrovnik in Croatia. The ferry port is located in the Gruž suburb and is approximately a 30-min walk to the historic center of Dubrovnik.

Alternatively, you can reach the port of Dubrovnik by car or bus . The nearest bus station to the port is around a 7-min walk .

Near the port area, you can find hotels, restaurants  and cafes. There is also an ATM, a parking lot  and a tourist information center at a close distance.

Can I travel on the ferry from Dubrovnik to Brač with a car?

No, ferries traveling from Dubrovnik to Brač are catamarans. Therefore, you cannot bring along your vehicle , as there are no car decks.

However, you can take your bicycle onboard the ferry to Brač from Dubrovnik but you should book a ticket for your bicycle online in advance as there are limited places available for bicycles.

Ferry luggage

During your ferry trip from Dubrovnik to Brač with TP-Line ,  Kapetan Luka - Krilo  or Jadrolinija ,  you are entitled to a single piece of luggage weighing up to 20 kg .

Ferries traveling from Dubrovnik to Brač do not have cabins . Onboard seating , however, is included in the ticket price.

On Dubrovnik - Brač ferries, you can bring your pet on board . Small pets can be transported in lounges in specially designed bags , the total weight of which must not exceed 8 kg . 

Larger pets will be allowed on board only if there are available kennels on open decks (should be booked and extra charged). Make sure you have your pet's health booklet with you and any other necessary certificates.

Dubrovnik To Split Ferry/Catamaran

If you are taking a trip from Dubrovnik to Split, consider taking a catamaran ride as it offers a pleasant trip along the Croatian islands . On their way, catamaran stop shortly on the islands of Brac, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet.

Catamarans are only seasonal (from April until the end of October) and are operated by 3 different ferry operators (Krilo, TP Line and Jadrolinija). Departure point is ferry port in Dubrovnik (easy to reach on foot, by bus or taxi) and departure times are 7am (Jadrolinija), 8am and 3:15pm (TP Line) and 2:45pm and 3pm (Krilo).

The sailing takes from 4h 30min to 5h 20min, depending on the company and the prices start from €45 one-way.

Tickets can be bought from ticket offices situated in the departure ports, but it's wise to book in advance especially if travelling during summer. You'll love cruising between Split and Dubrovnik on this 8-day organised boat tour !

Split ferry port is situated a short walk from historic centre and just across main bus terminal. There are plenty of bars to sit in and grab a drink or something to eat while you wait for your catamaran. Dubrovnik ferry port is easily reachable from any other part of the city by public transport or taxi. It's also a short walk from main bus terminal.

The bus travel is fairly cheap when you compare to other means of transport and start from €14 one-way. Travellers can choose from numerous bus operators on this route, most operating with modern and comfortable buses.

We recommend buying your bus tickets ahead , especially for rides during the peak summer months (June to August). If booked with FlixBus , you can easily manage your booking online (the ticket include 1 hand luggage, up to 7kg plus 1 hold luggage, up to 20kg).

Driving a car

Those who want to explore the beautiful coast between Dubrovnik and Split should consider renting a car . This way you'll travel at your own pace, take a dip into crystal clear sea or stop for a tasty sea-food lunch on the way (pick from a daily or a weekly rental at Discover Cars ).

The distance from Split to Dubrovnik is about 230 km and the drive will take about 3-3.5 hours depending on the traffic.
