Luxury yacht TATIANA was launched by Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts in February 2020, and at 80m/263ft it is the largest build from the shipyard to date. As the second Bilgin 263 model is sold and the third enters construction, it’s now possible to see the recently released imagery for TATIANA with reveals what has made this luxury yacht an instant success on the market even in such a tumultuous year.

The naval architecture and exterior styling both come from Unique Yacht Design, while H2 Yacht Design created her appealing interiors. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure have a masculine appearance created by sharp lines and a more traditional colour scheme of dark and light grey, most often associated with military vessels. With the increase in on board space comes a tendency to create a broad and bulky hull, however by elongating the deck areas M/Y TATIANA keeps a sleek and stylish profile that maximises space utilisation, particularly when adding swimming pools to the decks.

Outdoor living is prized, allowing the Owner and guests to savour every moment cruising in such destinations as the Mediterranean charter grounds, taking in the beauty of the Turkish Riviera and the Dalmatian Coast before cruising on to the heart of the summer social scene along the French Riviera .

Superyacht TATIANA is designed with large dockside gatherings in mind: Guests will disembark onto the large swim platform and enter the magnificent beach club within. The tenders and water toys are instead stored in the bow section beneath a flush foredeck cover, ensuring that space can still be used for such functions as exercise and sunbathing.

The main deck aft, meanwhile, hosts a desirable swimming pool of 8.5m/27.9ft in length and a depth of 1.4m/4.6ft – perfect for cooling off on hot summer days or exercising after dark when the water toys are safely stowed away. Although there are sunbeds running the length of both sides of the pool, the group might also like to rest and dry off on the sofa/sunbeds farther forward in the alfresco lounge area. Here, there is quick access to the bar where the talented crew can create a range of colourful cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages to suit all ages and occasions.

The upper deck aft is the main alfresco dining area and offers an extensive dining table with a bar to port and aft-facing seating behind to enjoy an aperitif or a nightcap while watching the blazing sunset. Canvas shades are available to keep off the midday sun and light sea spray.

The Owner’s deck is divided into fore and aft sections that also have optional canvas shades. The aft section is dedicated to lounging and sunbathing, with a plush sunbed along the stern and close to the glass sliding doors to the interior a sofa on both sides with a coffee table in between. The forward deck area is fitted with a sofa/sunbed on both sides and a forward Jacuzzi that will be coveted place to unwind while having uninterrupted views of the stunning Ionian Islands white cliffs, the regattas at Porto Cervo in Sardinia and the amazing cities of the Cote d’Azur .

Large windows and private terraces connect the interior and exterior spaces: At night, the warm glow of the lighting across the decks makes her as much of a show-stopper as a welcome home on the water during an extensive cruise. It is this lighting which draws guests into the understated elegance of the contemporary interiors by H2 Yacht Design, and the beach club is likely to be one of the first spaces guests and visitors enter by. The light and spacious interior are achieved using Macassar veneer and light eucalyptus. The top-quality marble is back-lit to bring out its details, further complemented by carved stone and emphasised textures.

A swimming pool runs through the centre of the aft beach club section, further illuminated by glass panels in the swimming pool on the main deck above. Farther forward, the beach club opens up to reveal a bar, plush lounges with top-quality TV entertainment and audio systems, a hammam and a spa massage room. Fold-down terraces further extend the space for sunbathing and lounging while simultaneously opening the interior up to the sunshine and fresh sea air.

Elsewhere on board there is an ambient cinema that has dark textures walls and two rows of matching silvery sofas. A coffee table also presents the possibility of using this space as another quiet lounge for close conversation.

The fully-equipped gym has a running machine, rowing machine and a range of free weights amongst its workout choices, and a widescreen TV will provide entertainment and motivation in the calm, bright white surroundings.

The main deck salon uses pale cream tones, slate blue and silvery mirror surfaces to create an ambience associated with the open sky. This is reflected in the colour scheme and subject matter of the surrounding artwork, adding to the serenity when dining beneath the sensational custom chandelier, or planning for the day ahead on the sumptuous sofas or armchairs. A widescreen TV separates the dining and lounging areas, and it can be viewed from both sides so that the group never misses a moment of the latest news and sports.

The skylounge is a dream-like sports lounge with an eye-catching back-lit bar, a pool table, grand piano and armchairs scattered throughout two semi-circular sofas and coffee tables create a cosy place to relax and watch live-action or a film on the widescreen TV, with the mirrored ceiling and matching walls creating an intimate environment after sundown.

The guest accommodation is just as beautiful and pristine in colour choice and furnishings. There are 8 en-suite cabins spread across the decks to sleep up to 14 guests: 1 Master suite, 3 VIP staterooms and 4 further guest cabins comprised of doubles and twins.

The Master suite is placed on the Owner’s deck and has its own private office as well as a massive stately bedroom in white, grey, dark teal and gold. The king-sized bed takes centre stage, however, there is also a day bed for reading and unwinding beside the window, a massive widescreen TV integrated into the port and starboard walls, a seating area with table for casual meals and drinks, all with fantastic views out onto the aft terrace. The en-suite bathroom has everything the occupants could desire, with twin sinks, a bathtub and shower within the well-proportioned interior.

All three VIP staterooms are situated on the main deck and have queen-sized beds within each voluminous room. The windows are almost full-height, granting the occupants excellent views and natural lighting while maintaining privacy within. A widescreen TV is placed in the wall opposite the bed, and the storage is integrated seamlessly into the surroundings. The en-suite bathroom is finished in marble and has twin sinks and bathtub with shower.

The remaining guest cabins on the lower deck enjoy an abundance of space as well as cutting edge amenities and en-suite facilities, making these bedrooms just as much of a tranquil haven after a busy day.

The crew of 23 are accommodated on the lower deck, and their areas have received just as much attention to detail. There is a crew mess for meals and downtime, and the team of professional chefs have plenty of space in the cutting-edge galley to prepare stunning creations for everyday meals or to mark a special celebration.

The engineering is just as impressive with a pair of engines and a generator producing a top speed of 19 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and an extensive range of more than 6,000 nautical miles. The fuel capacity draws on 155,000 litres and has an economical fuel consumption of approximately 250 litres per hour.

Luxury yacht TATIANA is built to IMO Tier III certification and at the time of writing is the cleanest yacht in her class: The special exhaust system aboard M/Y TATIANA produces 100% clean air emissions that further enhances her eco-friendly credentials for a greener future for travel.

Bilgin Yachts is also currently building a 50m/164ft and 74m/242.8ft luxury yacht both due for launch in 2022, plus a new 85m/278.9ft superyacht due for launch in 2023 when she will become the new flagship for the yard.

Interior designing TATIANA was H2 Yacht Design. H2 Yacht Design was established back in 1994 and not only specializes in interior yacht design but has worked in the exteriors of other superyachts.

H2 Yacht Design is based in London, prides itself on a rich experience regarding architecture, and is always committed to tailoring to its client’s preferences.

Their expert team always ensures clients that every element and detail is considered.  They also have different services such as CAD drawings, conceptual proposals, and On-site supervision.

Aboard the TATIANA yacht is a plethora of amenities and entertainment-related equipment.

Guests can indulge themselves in a relaxing day on the yacht with her large swimming pool, mega jacuzzi, beach club, steam room, spa room, sauna, full-blown gym, exercise equipment, full air conditioning, and has wifi.

There are also tons of toys guests can play around with, such as the 7.5-meter Tender Boat, jet skis, sea bobs, wakeboard, electric surfboard, inflatable kayak, and even diving snorkeling equipment.

She can readily accommodate 12 up o 16 guests at a time by utilizing her eight staterooms and can be attended to by 21 to 24 qualified crew members when venturing out to sea.

Specifications

TATIANA was built with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. She has an overall length of 80 meters or 262 feet, a beam of 12.2 meters or 40 feet, and a maximum draught of 3.5 meters or 11.6 feet.

Powering this 80-meter superyacht are two diesel-type MTU engines that output 5250 horsepower.

These massive engines enable the TATIANA yacht to be 12 knots and a maximum speed of 19 knots.

Her enormous fuel capacity of 155,000 liters, and water capacity of 45,000 liters, allow her to cover distances of 5000 nautical miles.

Exteriorly designing the TATIANA yacht is Unique Yacht Design, a company that has worked with several superyachts since their conception in 2010.

They have worked in yachts’ exteriors such as Blaundus B30-2, the Kasif, Snow 5 (Ex Lilium), and Lion Spirit, a 57.28-meter vessel capable of going to speeds of up to 17 knots.

BILGIN 263 TATIANA

Bilgin Yachts has currently built three units of the 80-metre Bilgin 263 series. The first unit of the Bilgin 263 series, Tatiana -also named as NB75- was launched in February 2020. The second hull –which is already sold- is planned to be launched in 2021 and following that, the third hull of the model will be delivered to her owner in 2022. The yachts reflect the shipyard's goal to be one of the prominent brands in the world.

Bilgin 263 yachts have sharp exterior lines and stylish interior areas offering a modern feeling. The extensive use of a contrasting combination of rich Macassar ebony, eucalyptus and plenty of marble creates a strong identity and luxurious feeling in the superyacht.

Emrecan Özgün, CEO and the Founder of Unique Yacht Design describes the brand-new 263 series as follows: "With her design and comfort elements, the Bilgin 263 is truly one-of-a-kind. We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding high dosage design cliches. The increase in living areas normally result in bulky designs. The Bilgin 263 has a design attitude that will dominate the yachting sector around the world. This will clearly make her a trendsetter among steel-aluminium superyachts of today." According to Jonny Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design, the first unit of the series Tatiana has a stunning interior complementing the modern exterior lines. He says, “The client has been involved in the industry for years and has had several yachts so he knew exactly what to like and what not to like. He loves to entertain his family and friends to sit back and relax whilst cruising the Med. As a result of our works together, Tatiana appeared. This yacht is contemporary in layout with generous living areas, a huge spa and a beach club on the aft deck.” H2 had to translate the owner’s wishes into comfortable, luxurious yet usable interiors. Timeless understatement is indeed the recurrent theme on board.

First look: Inside brand new 80m charter superyacht TATIANA

Pools are a running theme on board (80m) 263' motor yacht TATIANA , with a pair of swimming pools on the interior and exterior plus a modern pool table in the main salon.

As Bilgin's brand new flagship TATIANA nears delivery, the yachting industry has been eagerly awaiting the first photos inside this luxury charter yacht . 

Our first look tells us the industry won't be disappointed.

With outstanding on-board facilities, impeccable interior styling and a host of intriguing design features, TATIANA blends luxury and comfort with ease. 

TATIANA boasts outstanding on-board facilities, impeccable interior styling and a host of interesting design features.

The motor yacht was launched back in February at Bilgin's facilities in Istanbul, Turkey. She was instantly acclaimed for sleek profile and sharp lines, which come courtesy of Unique Yacht Design.

Initially announced as an in-build project in 2016, TATIANA forms part of the yard's 263 range. According to international media reports, there are two other sisterships in this range currently in build as well.

TATIANA marks one of the largest Turkish-built yachts to date. She would have made it to the top spot, but instead she ties for first with 80m (263') ELEMENTS from Yachtley. 

Curved lines create a fluid sense of motion that helps contribute to the relaxed on-board ambience.

The yacht's interiors come from British-based studio H2 Yacht Design.

The studio has opted for a light and refined color palette with a contemporary theme. Champagne, ivory and seafoam blue feature throughout, alongside mirrored surfaces and rich blue artworks. 

Throughout the yacht, curved lines create a fluid sense of motion that helps contribute to the relaxed on-board ambience. This is particularly evident in her lounge area, where crescent-shaped sofas hug curved coffee tables. 

Two pools means more space to relax, socialize and enjoy the company of your charter party during a superyacht vacation.

Accommodation is provided for a total of 12 guests in eight cabins, which includes a dedicated Owner’s deck, two VIP staterooms, four double cabins (of which two are convertible) and a twin cabin. 

The yacht is ideal for leisure and entertaining, thanks to a large cinema and a generous beach club with steam room. Adding a superb level of convenience, the wellness facilities in the beach club can be fully accessed via the main salon. 

As well as the spa area, the beach club also plays host to a beautiful indoor pool. This is particularly impressive when you consider her second pool on the main deck aft, above. Two pools means more space to relax, socialize and enjoy the company of your charter party during a superyacht vacation; whatever you're looking for, TATIANA will be the perfect hostess. 

TATIANA is close to delivery, following which she will become available for private yacht charter in the Bahamas  and other Caribbean hotspots.

In 1988, the Tuvan Archaeological Expedition (led by M. E. Kilunovskaya and V. A. Semenov) discovered a unique burial of the early Iron Age at Saryg-Bulun in Central Tuva. There are two burial mounds of the Aldy-Bel culture dated by 7th century BC. Within the barrows, which adjoined one another, forming a figure-of-eight, there were discovered 7 burials, from which a representative collection of artifacts was recovered. Burial 5 was the most unique, it was found in a coffin made of a larch trunk, with a tightly closed lid. Due to the preservative properties of larch and lack of air access, the coffin contained a well-preserved mummy of a child with an accompanying set of grave goods. The interred individual retained the skin on his face and had a leather headdress painted with red pigment and a coat, sewn from jerboa fur. The coat was belted with a leather belt with bronze ornaments and buckles. Besides that, a leather quiver with arrows with the shafts decorated with painted ornaments, fully preserved battle pick and a bow were buried in the coffin. Unexpectedly, the full-genomic analysis, showed that the individual was female. This fact opens a new aspect in the study of the social history of the Scythian society and perhaps brings us back to the myth of the Amazons, discussed by Herodotus. Of course, this discovery is unique in its preservation for the Scythian culture of Tuva and requires careful study and conservation.

Sergio Pino's ‘murder crews' were assembled by two middlemen close to home: FBI

W hen prominent developer Sergio Pino sought what the FBI called “murder crews” to kill his wife, he allegedly did not look far for the men now accused of assembling them.

One of those men, Bayron Bennett, worked serving food and beverages on the Century Star, the Pinos’ yacht, the FBI alleges. The other, convicted felon Fausto Villar, is married to the owner of the company Pino contracted to reroof his Cocoplum home, according to the criminal complaint against Villar and an NBC6 Investigation.

A roofing project was underway Tuesday when an FBI SWAT team moved in to arrest Pino on murder-for-hire charges. Rather than be taken into custody, the 67-year-old leader of Century Homebuilders group fatally shot himself in his upstairs bedroom.

It was the end of his role in the twisted tale of the murder-for-hire scheme laid out by the FBI and U.S. Attorney's Office in criminal complaints naming nine men.

Pino's motive and involvement

While running a homebuilding and commercial development empire, Pino was also arranging for two groups of criminals to kill his wife before their divorce could be finalized, the federal affidavits state.

The motive, one of those charged told the FBI, was that Tatiana Pino would not accept his $20 million to end a 32-year marriage that had amassed by 2022 a net worth that divorce court records variously put at $153 million or $359 million.

As federal law enforcement sees it, all roads in the investigation led to Pino.

“In addition to Sergio Pino's alleged role at the head of this scheme,” said FBI Miami Agent in Charge Jeffrey Veltri, “our evidence has shown he hired and gave orders to murder crews. There were at least two separate crews involved.”

Even before she filed for divorce in April 2022, the FBI alleges Pino was trying to poison his wife with fentanyl.

“First, he tried to poison her over a period of time,” said U.S. Attorney Markenzy Lapointe. “When that failed, he put out a contract on her head on two separate occasions, hiring separate groups of hit men to do the job.”

The men in the murder crews and the plots

The criminal complaints describe a tangled web of men previously convicted of felonies including kidnapping, attempted murder, armed robbery, drug dealing and other crimes. And they were assembled by two middlemen who had direct ties to the Pinos’ $8 million waterfront home, Lapointe said.

“The individuals that were actually leading those crews, they all had some sort of special relationship with Mr. Pino,” he said.

The first crew involved four men arrested in March: Bennett, Michael Dulfo, Jerren Howard and Edner Etienne. They are not currently charged with murder, but rather arson--after cars were set afire outside Tatiana Pino’s sister’s house--and stalking. That also includes the incident in August 2023, when Tatiana Pino's car was rammed as she returned home from "a very important divorce court hearing," her attorney, Raymon Rafool, said.

“A hearing that had been set for a very long time so the timing was known, the date was known, everything was known,” Rafool said, including Tatiana’s whereabouts.

Tatiana Pino recognized Bennett during FBI questioning as a worker on the yacht. On Tuesday, an FBI sniper boarded the vessel to keep an eye on the back of the house as SWAT moved in.

According to the federal complaint, Fausto Villar is the man Sergio Pino engaged to lead the second crew.

NBC6 investigates revealed a connection between Villar and Pino. In May of this year, Pino filed a notice of commencement with the county clerk naming the contractor doing re-roofing of the house as Evalution Roofing LLC.

That company is owned by Villar's wife.

Villar is now charged with murder-for-hire, along with Avery Bivins, with whom Villar spent time in state prison until 2016.

Villar, 42, was serving seven years for an armed robbery he pulled off with his cousin, a Miami-Dade police officer, in 2010. They helped a bookie recover $130,000 in cash winnings from a man they followed from the bookie’s offices and, using the cousin’s police car, pulled over and “confiscated” the cash.

Bivins, 34, was doing 15 years for attempted murder and armed robbery.

Bivins told the FBI that Villar recruited him to assemble what they called the second murder crew to eliminate Tatiana Pino for $300,000.

That crew allegedly included Diori Barnard, whose five-year burglary sentence also overlapped with Bivins and Villar;  armed robber Clementa Johnson; and Vernon Green, previously convicted of armed robbery and attempted murder.

It was Green, criminal complaints say, who played a key role on June 23–one day before Pino’s deadline to commit the murder.

That afternoon, members of the second crew followed Tatiana Pino once again to her home and, as she pulled into the driveway, Green emerged from a truck armed and ran up to her car, gun in hand, the complaint states.

She sounded her car horn, hurriedly drove into a rear parking area and managed to run into the house.

Hearing the racket, her adult daughter emerged. Green held his gun inches from her head and ordered her back into the house, the complaint states. Green then allegedly fled back into the truck, which sped away.

So far, public records show only Villar and Bivins face murder-for-hire charges, while others are charged with various crimes, including arson and stalking conspiracy.

But, Lapointe noted Tuesday, “This is an ongoing investigation as it relates to what charges have been submitted and what charges may be submitted later.”

Authorities were 'disturbed at the level of brazenness'

The only man to escape charges was Sergio Pino. The chief federal prosecutor said he was relentless and knew authorities were onto him.

“That didn't bother him at all," Lapointe said. “In fact, law enforcement, to the extent we can discuss this at all, felt somewhat disturbed at the level of brazenness that he had.”

Last week, Rafool, Tatiana Pino’s divorce attorney, said he saw Pino’s arrogance up close.

“So sometimes money or power or any other type of influence aspects will turn people even against those that they loved at one time or love,” he said.

NBC6 reached out to every attorney we could find for the nine men charged. They’ve either declined comment or not responded. All who have had an opportunity have pleaded not guilty.

Sam Rabin, Sergio Pino’s criminal attorney, said they were confident they could have successfully defended the charges that were about to be filed against him.
