She was built by Feadship , with interior design by RWD Design.

The 78.5m yacht has multiple facilities that make the Hampshire a family-oriented and action-packed yachting experience. The yacht is the epitome of luxury and fun on the water.

HAMPSHIRE II yacht interior

The interior of the Hampshire II yacht is defined as luxurious. With a classic and mahogany-paneled style, there is accommodation for 14 guests in 7 staterooms and 23 crew in 14 cabins.

The beach house opens out on two sides and has a swimming platform and a swimming ladder that descends into the water from the stern.

The beach club is styled in a driftwood design, and the entire area flows seamlessly into the deck above with a skylight surrounded by seating.

The whole yacht is designed for fun, action, sport, and exploration, with the helipad on the foredeck converting into a multi-sports area for basketball, badminton, tennis, and football.

The traditional yachting interior also has a real wood-burning fire, a wine cellar in the underwater viewing window, and a private cinema on the lower deck.

The yacht’s action-packed features continue with a zip line that runs from the 25m crows mast to the water below, and each deck is a diving board.

The garage is packed with toys like windsurfing and diving equipment, mountain bikes, and tenders for all kinds of adventure on land and water.

Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects built the Hampshire II yacht in their Kaag-based shipyard in the Netherlands. The hull is made of steel and has an aluminum superstructure.

The hull was painted blue in 2018. RWD was the designer of both the interior and the yacht’s exterior, and she was delivered in 2012.

Specifications

The Hampshire II yacht has a length of 78.5m, a beam of 12.7m, and a draft of 3.7m. Her 2 MTU engines can reach a maximum speed of 16kn and a cruising speed of 14kn. She displaces 1887GT and has a range of 3,700 nautical miles.

The engine room has a passageway made of full-height glass walls that show off the interior with three main colors: Ferrari red, black, and white, with stainless steel accents and spotlights.

The 78.5m/257'7" motor yacht 'Hampshire II' was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Kaag shipyard. Her interior is styled by British designer design house RWD and she was delivered to her owner in July 2012. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of RWD.

Launched in 2012, the 78,5m (258´) motor yacht Hampshire II (hull 806) is a magnificent twin screw custom vessel, built by the prestigious Dutch shipyard, Feadship. Boasting the contemporary overall design and classic interior by well known Redman Whiteley Dixon, the Hampshire II superyacht is a vessel full of adventure, ideal for those with a great love for action as well as sports.

Six luxurious and comfortable staterooms for a total number of 14 guests can be found aboard the Feadship superyacht Hampshire II. Her impressive crew of 21 plus 2 staff sleep in 14 crew cabins. Among the special features of this spectacular vessel belong the yard played football situated on the foredeck as well as the helicopter landing platform, beautifully finished in teak, which can be transformed into a playing field for basketball, tennis, baseball, badminton and football. A giant net is placed around the deck to ensure continuity of the games. On the sundeck, a crow's nest placed atop the mast is reached by a two-person elevator and provides panoramic views high above the water. For the truly adventurous, a zip wire is connected to the mast to which one can tie a rope and slide at breathtaking speed from the crow's nest down to the water. The striking 78,5m luxury yacht Hampshire II (hull 806) also features a phenomenal beach club with two platforms that open up either side of the vessel in addition to the swim platform at the transom. A swimming ladder descends from the stern hydraulically, while the beach club itself has been finished in a driftwood style. The whole area is very well incorporated with the deck above, which includes a skylight surrounded by seating. Featuring balconies on either side, seating terraces for the owners as well as wing stations are adjacent to the wheelhouse. There is a wealth of fine detailing in the design, comprising the nameplate on the glass panel in the recessed part of the bridge deck fashion plates. The engine room has a passageway through the middle with full height glass walls. Only three colors are used in this area - Ferrari red, white and black which, mixed up with plenty of stainless steel and the smart use of spotlights, make the engine room along with the wheelhouse with its glass-covered dashboard and touch screen controls, look marvelous. Like everything else on this splendid vessel, advanced technologies have been combined with extraordinary craftsmanship as well as an unprecedented eye for visual treats. And in doing so Feadship has set a new standard for owners who desire to use their superyacht to the max. Boasting a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the twin MTU 16V4000M53R engines can propel the Feadship megayacht Hampshire II to the maximum speed of 16 knots and the range of 5500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her overall beam is of 12,7m (41´8´´), with a loaded draft of 3,7m (12´2´´).

Der US-Elektrowagenkonzern Tesla will im Sommer sein selbstfahrendes Robotaxi vorstellen. Das computergesteuerte Fahrzeug werde am 8. August präsentiert, teilte Tesla-Chef Elon Musk am Freitag im Onlinedienst X mit. Im Zuge der Ankündigung legte die Tesla-Aktie nach Börsenschluss in New York zwischenzeitlich um sechs Prozent zu.

Musk preist immer wieder das Potenzial von Tesla bei selbstfahrenden Elektroautos an. Dabei präsentierte der Milliardär auch die Idee, dass ungenutzte Fahrzeuge mit dem Autopilot-System FSD (Full Self-Driving) als Robotaxis eingesetzt werden können, wenn ihre Besitzer sie gerade nicht brauchen.

»Die meisten Menschen haben immer noch keine Ahnung, wie furchtbar gut das FSD von Tesla sein wird«, schrieb Musk im März auf X. Das Autopilot-System werde »supermenschlich sein in solch einem Ausmaß, dass es in der Zukunft seltsam erscheinen wird, dass Menschen Autos gesteuert haben, selbst wenn sie erschöpft und betrunken waren«.

Die Entwicklung von Robotaxis stößt allerdings auf Bedenken der Aufsichtsbehörden und der Öffentlichkeit. Die kalifornische Metropole San Francisco ist ein Testgebiet für die neue Technologie. Die Robotaxis der Google -Tochter Waymo wurden dort allerdings immer wieder zum Ziel von Vandalismus. Die selbstfahrenden Cruise-Robotaxis des Autokonzerns GM stellten ihren Betrieb Ende Oktober auf unbestimmte Zeit ein, nachdem mehrere Unfälle die kalifornischen Aufsichtsbehörden auf den Plan gerufen hatten.

Mit seiner Ankündigung zu den Robotaxis wollte Musk womöglich von negativen Meldungen über sein E-Auto-Unternehmen ablenken. Diese Woche musste Tesla einen Rückgang seiner Verkaufszahlen vermelden. Die Zahl der weltweiten Auslieferungen von Tesla-Wagen sank demnach im ersten Quartal um 8,5 Prozent. Dies ist insbesondere auf die schwache Nachfrage in China zurückzuführen, wo inländische Hersteller dem US-Unternehmen stark Konkurrenz machen.

Außerdem hieß es in einem Medienbericht, Tesla habe seinen lang gehegten Plan aufgegeben, für den Massenmarkt ein E-Auto zu einem Preis von um die 25.000 Dollar (23.000 Euro) zu entwickeln. Der Bericht wurde von Musk vehement dementiert.
