The amazing Maitaʻi Catamaran is an ocean adventure, sight-seeing tour and party all in one. This “state of the art”, twin hulled, 45 foot catamaran seats 49 passengers comfortably. United States Coast Guard inspected and certified, the Maita’i is ultra-safe and a great time for the entire family.

Maitaʻi offers a variety of sailings for you to choose from. Enjoy the Island sun and scenery on one of our Tradewind sails. Watch the Oahu coast roll by as the wind fills the sails on a journey you’ll remember a lifetime.

Looking for something a bit more romantic? Try our Sunset Maitai Sail or Maita’i Fireworks Sail. Have a Maitai or one of the other refreshments from our bar while you watch the sun or moon set slowly into the horizon, closing another wonderful day in paradise.

Maita'i Catamaran - Afternoon Delite Sail

Departing right from the beach in Waikiki,  the Maita'i catamaran will take you on a fun afternoon sail along Oahu’s  south shore. Keep an eye out for our "delite"ful friends that we  often come across, including dolphins, turtles, flying fish and whales during  the winter months. This 1.5 hour sail includes drinks like Mai Tai, beer and  wine.

Maita'i Catamaran is fantastic

Super nice and scenic sail from Waikiki beach out past Diamond Head for about 1.5 hours. The crew was great and served up the "best MaiTai's on a boat in Waikiki" or say they say. Drinks were quite reasonable and we had a great time. The Maita'i catamaran staff helped me out a lot as Groupon totally messed up our booking. I thank them for that and strongly suggest you book direct with this vendor and do not through Groupon.

We stumbled across this tour while at the beach and we're so glad we booked it. The staff was so fun and knowledgeable, the mai tais on board were delish and being on the water was so fun! Such a cool way to experience Waikiki. Just make sure you keep your valuables and cameras in the waterproof compartments because the front seats can get some fun splashes! My husband and I had such a great time and would have booked it again if they weren't already booked up!

We had an excellent experience on Maita'i Catamaran! Captain Ian & Kiah are amazing! This was our third summer going on this catamaran with our family and is a must do every time we visit Oahu! It is so nice to see Waikiki & Diamond head while riding along the coast. If you are visiting this area, make sure to put this experience on your list.

Do this Catamaran tour!! This is our 4th visit to Honolulu and our 2nd time doing this tour!! We love it! The crew is awesome, nice drinks for purchase , spectacular view of Diamond Head, turtles swimming and LOTS of FUN!! We did the 11am ride and it was a great way to kick off a Friday!! It is worth every penny and if your budget limits the amount of activities make this an exception!!!

This sunset cruise did not disappoint. The drinks were great and the views were hard to find anywhere but on this boat cruise. Kai was a great host and the captain did good job of making a great trip with minimal concern of ocean waves interrupting the cruise experience.

This hour and a half long sail was included in our hotel package so we weren't sure what to expect. It was heaps of fun. The cat first sailed into the wind and, as we were sitting right up front, we got nicely wet from the spray as we rode the waves. After a while we turned around and sailed with the wind for a much smoother ride. The captain and crew made us all feel welcome, answering our - probably dumb - questions with a smile. Thanks guys.
