Martin Bekebrede Yacht Design

Martin Bekebrede Yacht Design, een gerenommeerd ontwerpbureau, dat sinds zijn oprichting in 1974 al veel ontwerpen van bekende jachten heeft geproduceerd. Daaronder veel ontwerpen van diverse rond en platbodemjachten waaronder Zeeschouwen, Schokkers, Grundels en ook een groot aantal Lemsteraken.

Van platbodems heeft hij  hele series van getekend. Nog niet zo lang geleden is een 16 meter Lemsteraak uit zijn computer gerold. Hij had eerder al een 9,50 meter en 13 meter gemaakt. 

De Liamer Schouw van 8,50 meter en twee Zeeschouwen van 9 en 11 meter.

 Daarnaast heeft hij Schokkers ontworpen in de maten van 7,60 meter, 9,50 meter, 10,10 meter en 11,20 meter. Een Klipperaak van 27 meter en 28,50 meter horen ook bij zijn ontwerpen.

Een interview met martin bekenbrede in de spiegel der zeilvaart van mei-juni 2001.

Martin Bekebrede (57) is scheepsontwerper. Woont in het centrum van Workum en heeft de laatste drie decennia een vloot aan schepen getekend. Hij leerde het vak bij Vripack Yachting, Scheepswerf Jongsma en jachtontwerper Lemstra. In 1973 vestigde hij zich als zelfstandige, zette een paginagrote advertentie met zijn, in vrije tijd, gemaakte tekeningen in de Waterkampioen en kreeg daarop gelijk een jaar werk. Hij vertelt: Het leukst vind ik het tekenen, vooral de. eerste fase, schetsen maken. Daarna zet ik het op het tekenbord. Ik doe dat nog steeds, ik zie de lijnen op deze manier beter dan op het kleine schermpje van de computer wat ook nog een beetje krom loopt. Ik zet het ruw op en als ik dan tevreden ben ga ik met het spul naar de computer.

Wim de Bruijn schrijft: Bij het googelen naar Martin Bekebrede kom je al snel op een overzicht van alle ontwerpen die hij in Workum op zijn tekentafel uitwerkte. Het is een ontwerper die nog steeds de lijnen op papier zet en, als hij tevreden is, ze op de computer verder gaat stroken en er de nodige berekeningen op loslaat. Het is een manier van werken die op de HTS niet meer wordt aangeleerd. Daar zijn geen strooklatten en tekenloden meer, maar beeldschermen en zeer geavanceerde ontwerpprogramma's. Ik voel wel voor de werkwijze van Bekebrede. Maar dat komt wellicht voort uit het feit dat ik het zo zelf ooit heb geleerd en in praktijk gebracht. Ik plak de Spiegel, net als 34 jaar geleden, ook nog gewoon met de hand in elkaar. Dat gaat niet alleen snel en efficiënt, maar ik geniet er het meeste van. Daarna pas gaat de vormgever in de DTP studio aan het werk om alles digitaal op te maken. Er gaat bij mij niets boven het ouderwetse handwerk. Dat past trouwens helemaal in de lijn van een tijdschrift voor handwerklieden. De lijnen van de schepen van Martin Bekebrede zijn mooi. Ook dat is heel persoonlijk. Maar ik denk dat dat ook het gevolg is van het eerst handmatig schetsen en daarna stroken van lijnen. Maar nogmaals, dat zegt mijn gevoel.

This Bekebrede Kotter 1300 is one of a series of two designed by Bekebrede Yacht Design on behalf of both owners. This motor yacht was built entirely in-house, with a focus on the pursuit of very high quality in construction, interior and technology. After years of construction, this has resulted in a motor yacht with a very high level of finish, which is completely finished except for a few details.

This Bekebrede Kotter 1300 is still unused and in new condition. However, due to years of construction, the paint system is no longer optimal. The interior and the technology are new.

The hull has been built of 5 mm. steel, the superstructure of 4 mm.

The Bekebrede Kotter 1300 is a very comfortable motor yacht suitable for a long stay on board and long journeys through Europe.

Flevoship Holland builds every yacht directly for the owner, but also for other yards.

Flevoship has been on the market for 35 years and has grown into a renowned member of the Dutch yacht building family. Our excellent reputation is partly due to the top designers Pierer Beeldsnijdes and Martin Bekebrede With Pieter we have built various beautiful yachts such as the Belle de jour and the Bonker and with Martin we have set up the Noord and Zuidkaper line of course we have built many other designs by their hands. Since 2017 we have welcomed Lynx Yachts and Diana Yacht design. Commissioned by lynx Yachts, we have built the YXT Yachts with which we add another superyacht to the supperyacht fleet. Our smallest yacht but certainly worth mentioning is the very luxurious aluminum tender MV10 designed by Herbert van der Brand.

Flevo motor yachts

Over the years, Flevo Jachtbouw has been able to build various custom-made motor yachts. The tough PB 66 “M.Y. Bonker”, the powerful and elegant PB99 "M.Y. Belle de Jour" (a true masterpiece) and the PB 1940 Motorcutter “Marlin” show that Flevo Jachtbouw is strong in the segment of luxury, larger motor yachts. But the yard has also built special yachts in more modest sizes. Striking is the Flevo 49 OC a ship designed by Martin Bekebrede with a sturdy, timeless look with modern accents.

Flevo sailing yachts

The Showpieces among the sailing yachts are the Noord and the Zuidkaper serie. These beautiful classic yachts are designed by Martin Bekebrede. They are quality yachts with an enormous appearance. They are tough and robust, but also stylish and comfortable at the same time. The wide side decks and the wheelhouse with a beautiful round view make life under sail a great sailing experience.

A Brightly-Colored Modern Design in The Midst of Moscow City

Created by  Oksana Salberg – Vachnadze , a  Russian interior designer  and founder of the O2 Design Moscow studio, this modern design project enhances the  French style apartment  and it’s all about bright colors and balanced contrasts!

Oksana Salberg – Vachnadze  is one of the most well-known  Russian interior designers ! In 2003 she started her degree in the Stroganov Moscow State University of Industrial and Applied Arts, which she ended six years later. From that moment she began her professional career as an  interior designer and a master of  modern design  in this field.

In 2005 the  interior designer  founded her own  design studio in Moscow  that we know as  O2 Design ! Nowadays, she has done more than 15  residential projects  in many cities, like Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod!

This specific   interior design project  is located on a  modern building   in the central district of Moscow city. The  160,7 m2 apartment , inspired by the  French minimalistic style , has a  bright color palette  and  bold pattern  choices ,  which highlight the lines of the lighting and  furniture design  in every room.

The predominance of the white color, the soaring ceilings, gypsum wall paneling, the cornices or the parquet flooring enhance everything that is imposing about this modern design. The high ceilings provide a large entrance hall and a spacious dining and living room.

For the finishing touch of this modern design   Parisian apartment ,   Oksana Salberg  incorporated a touch of gold that you can find on the  Jonathan Adler  and DelightFULL  lighting fixtures and Boca do Lobo ‘s Sinuous Console !

Moscow City X is a very detailed model of Moscow metropolitan area in Russia, together with lite sceneries of 7 airports, many heliports and thousands of buildings. It took almost a year to complete and it includes countless fantastic features. The FPS/VAS-friendly design and advanced optimization techniques make the product's performance as satisfactory as possible.

Russia is the largest country in the world. It is a federal semi-presidential republic. From Northwest to Southeast, Russia shares land borders with Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland (both with Kaliningrad Oblast), Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, and North Korea. Most of Russia consists of vast stretches of plains that are predominantly steppe to the south and heavily forested to the north, with tundra along the northern coast. Russia has about 1300 airports.

Moscow is the capital city and the most populous federal subject of Russia. The city is a major political, economic, cultural and scientific center in Russia and in Eastern Europe. According to Forbes 2013, Moscow has the largest number of billionaire residents in the world, has been ranked as the second most expensive city in the world by Mercer and is one of the world's largest urban economies, being ranked as an alpha global city according to the Globalization and World Cities Research Network and is also one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world according to the MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index. Moscow is the northernmost and coldest megacity and metropolis on Earth, the second most populous city in Europe after Istanbul and the 8th largest city proper in the world, as well as the largest amongst high income economies.
