Dan represented us on the purchase of a Hatteras 43 DC simultaneously representing the seller. Dan is a great broker, and we are very happy with our purchase. Dan went above and beyond on multiple accounts and was a great communicator. He is transparent, knows boats, and has amazing follow through which made for a seamless transaction.

I have bout several boats from Dan at New Era Yachts. I can say with certainty, that I have never seen a salesperson in my life go through what he goes through to ensure both seller and buyer have a win-win situation. New Era Yachts goes the extra mile to ensure a pleasurable experience, that all safety measures are met, that all key equipment is operational, and that customer satisfaction is guaranteed. Dan will even go down into the bilge and replace pumps as needed, work on engines, breakers, etc. to create a positive sales experience. I simply cannot say enough good things about this company and I highly recommend this company to any and all my boating friends. It doesn't get any better than this, honestly.

I shopped for my latest boat for over 5 years, Been to every broker in Alameda, in person several times, I was current with inventories of boats that were within my scope of interest from Pittsburg to Santa Barbara and the PNW. I've been to a lot of brokers, and I've bought a lot of boats over my 58 Years of sailing. Danny and the gang that I interacted with were as good as I have experienced anywhere. Danny helped me clean up and sell my last boat, health issues left me unable to handle that beast any longer, One just like it, in better shape won its class to Hawaii this past year. That boat would have Killed me. He sold it for close to what I paid for it 23 years earlier. The boat we bought was not from New ERA's inventory. Danny represented us very well, he knows a lot of people, and was able to make the acquisition happen very smoothly. A friend of mine, who was a Broker at one time, whose father was a broker for ever (his Dad sold my Father 3 boats in their lifetimes, 16, 32 & 38 " Sailboats) Who was walking me through the process commented that we needed to get Danny involved when the original selling broker began to get flakey, hard to contact, and I caught him in a couple of bullshit lies (The selling Broker, not Danny). The surveys were timely, and now that I have spent some time on the boat, extremely accurate. I have since found older models of this same boat for sale for as much as 2 and 3 x the sale price of the one we scored and not in as good as condition or as good a layout. I still call on the not so homeless lady to help with the cleaning, sanding and painting. She does and excellent job on all three activities. She has keys to my boat and the supplies locker.

Great experience with Dan at New Era Yachts. Dan has clearly been in the industry for decades and it shows. I'm still searching for the right boat for my needs, but I check in with Dan once or twice a month to see what comes up. Everything is straight-forward and transparent from work needed to bring classic teak wood interior floor back to "like-new" all the way to engine choice and sleeping quarters. Last time I visited, he sold a boat for near half-million and what a beauty! Real gems listed here. Will be back soon.

Awesome experience. We're first time boat owners and Danny and Richard couldn't have been more helpful for us through this process. We're now proud owners of a beautiful boat that is just right for us. Can't thank you guys enough for pointing us in the right direction, happy we put our trust in New Era.

New Era Yachts.... let me begin just by saying that for once in a very long time was I treated like a real costumer and not just another Tom, Dick, or Harry. The entire staff in the sales office are very outgoing to the needs of the costumer. I dealt directly with Danny who guided me with his professionalism, and knowledge of the boat i purchased. I feel forever indebted to him for his helpfulness, and expertise during the whole process. On the hunt for your first, second, third, etc, etc,..buy or sell? New Era Yachts Baby!

The boat i went to see was covered in green scum. The interior of boat was awash with water that the broker could not explain. In addition a previous offer on the boat (prior to water saturation) was never passed on to the owner. Broker in his defense seemed like a nice guy and guessing this mess was due to managerial nix ups at broker around maintenance & sales.

We used one of their brokers to be our buyer's representative when purchasing a sailboat through another brokerage. The broker was knowledgeable in sailboats, recommended a good surveyor, and the transaction went smoothly and we closed quickly. I'd give higher stars except that the broker brought up politics too much and tried pushing their MLM marketing stuff on us. We went there to buy a boat, not to listen to political rants and be told how we can become thousand-airs by selling vitamin shakes. I don't think that broker is there anymore, but it still detracted from our buying experience.

My husband and I have been searching for three years for the perfect boat. We have been in a couple of deals that went south and thought that maybe it wasn't meant to happen. Then we found a listing on yacht world that looked like it might be the one. We looked at the boat and started to ask the hard questions. Danny at New Era made sure that every question and inquiry we had was going to be explored. He was there at every meeting, survey, haul-out and delivery. An especially important detail is that he helped us with financing that every other broker had told us we were NEVER going to get. He arranged the club membership that was necessary for the credit union that signed us-He then sent us on our very happy way with a bottle of wine! He is still helping us make our new boat perfect.
