Built in 2023, Ohana offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Ohana, particularly a deck jacuzzi, perfect to enjoy the scenery with your favourite drink in hand.

Ohana benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, particularly Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin John Deere engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots.

When not cruising Ohana has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Principle among these are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. In addition there are SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and see a variety of aquatic sea life. Additionally, there are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Ohana also features fishing equipment, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Ohana has a Tender to transfer you from ship to shore.

HUGE EXTERIOR AREAS

The enormous deck areas of OHANA offer many options to enjoy the alfresco life. The aft cockpit offers a large sunbathing area with sun pads, perfect for lounging in the Mediterranean sun before descending the stern stairs to the swimming platform. From here, guests can slide in the water to cool off, enjoy the tranquility of a quiet snorkel, or make use of OHANA’s extensive collection of dive gear including a dive compressor to explore deeper underwater (rendezvous diving only). Guests can also make use of the onboard windsurfs, paddleboards, and dinghies, and take lessons from the onboard instructors. The large sofas and coffee tables of the flybridge are perfect for gathering and enjoying a coffee or relaxing in the early evening with a drink. The alfresco dining area of the main deck is perfect for formal or informal meals, with sheltered sides enabling guests to enjoy the sea air whatever the weather.

ELEGANT LIVING

OHANA’s high-performance does not forgo the elegance and luxury of a superyacht charter. The neutral palette of interior areas creates an atmosphere of understated decadence while sumptuously comfortable furnishings invite guests to sink in and enjoy the serenity. The stunning black marble table in the main salon is perfect for elegant dinners prepared by OHANA’s excellent chef; after which, guests can retire to the sofas of the main salon to enjoy a digestif from the bar or gather for relaxed movie nights with the cinema setup. The five staterooms on board OHANA include a full-beam master, two doubles, and four singles. Up to ten guests are accommodated on board, cared for by OHANA’s experienced crew of eight. A custom layout featuring hand-picked design elements made in-factory at Sunreef’s shipyard in Poland ensures she is one-of-a-kind. Her bold exterior boasts a custom color hull while the contemporary decor finds softness in the warm, light woods and coastal blues of her inviting interior. All five king beds are all floor-level berths with full-walk around access. Each cabin boasts a mirror-covered wall to allow for maximum light during the day and lend an airy vibe to the comfortable cabins. Five spacious heads are ensuite featuring spa-like, waterfall shower heads and full-size commodes.

With three wet bars, a central open-concept galley, and a seamless flow between the yacht’s interior and exterior spaces, Ohana creates a perfect platform to host guests comfortably. Options for alfresco cockpit dining or up top on the generous flybridge; a space dedicated to leisure, with comfortable lounge seating, sun pads perfect for catching Caribbean rays, a wet bar with seating for four complete with retractable flatscreen TV, and a large jacuzzi.

Ohana 80, is a luxury sailing yacht ideal for exclusive getaways, intimate charters, and island adventures. Ohana accommodates up to ten guests in five deluxe, king-size ensuite cabins. The king beds are all floor-level berths with full-walk-around access. Airy, luxurious guest cabins each have a mirror-covered wall to allow for maximum light during the day, roomy closets and storage spaces, temperature control, a retractable flatscreen TV, and an immense bathroom. All heads are ensuite featuring spa-like, waterfall shower heads and full-size commodes. A perfect setting to unwind and relax after a long day in the sun.

With three fully-equipped wet bars, a central open-concept galley, and seamless flow between the yacht’s interior and exterior spaces, Ohana creates a perfect platform to host guests comfortably. A vast, central lounging space with panoramic views opens both onto the bow terrace and cockpit. The bow benefits from a cozy lounge, well shielded from sun and wind. To the aft, the saloon merges with the spacious cockpit offering a lovely al fresco dining area. The cockpit overlooks an extra-large hydraulic platform that can act as a swim-up island once the jet tender is splashed. From the aft bathing platform, you can launch water toys, try scuba diving for the first time, or sun tan all at sea level. All the areas combined form a universal, open environment where flexibility and freedom reign.

Unique to Ohana, a day-head is located in the aft cockpit to allow for maximum comfort during the day. The day head is complete with a wash basin and changing table for our younger guests. In addition, there are two waterfall shower heads by each aft sugar scoop for fresh water rinses throughout the sunny, salty days. Underwater lights line the waterline for added ambiance in the evening.

High bulwarks and a large beam lend to the superstructure design allowing for a generous flybridge and bimini that extends its full length. Along with dual helms, the flybridge is dedicated to leisure, with comfortable seating, plush sun pads, and a large jacuzzi. There are options to dine alfresco while enjoying movie night with the family or catch a game on the large, retractable flatscreen TV while simultaneously enjoying a 360 view of the Caribbean.

The yacht owners chose the name Ohana to represent their strong-family ties and generous spirit. When you stay aboard Ohana, you can indulge in luxury and regalement, but leave knowing you are a part of something much grander.

Ohana is BVI-based, and BVI Taxes, Permits, and Licenses are paid by Ohana.

Scuba Diving: During a seven-day charter onboard Ohana, certified divers can dive up to five times, one dive per full charter day, with the guidance of a scuba instructor. Additional dives can be added based on the itinerary and Captain Tyler’s discretion. The cost of scuba diving is $100 per dive/diver.

Meet Your Crew

Tyler Boruff

Captain Tyler is always on the move and ready for an adventure, he is a man of many hobbies and easily relates to others. He grew up fishing, boating, wakeboarding, and water-skiing.

When he was ten he sailed for the first time and he quickly became hooked. In college, he worked as a windsurfing and scuba instructor. His passion for being on the water followed him to the East Coast where he owned his own fishing boats and served as a first mate/instructor on several dive boats. Tyler has always been an outdoorsman whether it’s hunting or backpacking in the mountains of North Carolina, where he calls home, cave diving in North Florida, or free diving in the Keys. He satisfies his land-based tendencies by hiking around the islands and finding the best jumping spots to plunge into the ocean. On the water, he enjoys throwing out a line or diving for lobsters in the USVI, and in the BVI he enjoys kiteboarding. In the water, he is an avid free diver and exceptional at fish identification.

Chef (Rotational)

Erika boruff.

Chef Erika has a love for entertaining which she demonstrates by pouring custom cocktails and whipping up creative eats. When Tyler and Erika decided to get into chartering, she went back to school to earn her professional chef certification through Roubex Cooking School.

She is also a certified Food Safety Manager by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals and a licensed bartender. Showing her desire to continue learning, Erika also completed the Advanced Cookery Week, at the award-winning Ashburton Cookery School, in England. Erika has returned to Ashburton, where she is currently working towards earning her Diploma in Culinary Arts, a prestigious and intensive educational process.

Erika worked in event planning for three years and coordinated trips for groups as large as 40. She has helped plan pig picking, oyster roasts, and even a couple of weddings. She became the ultimate trip host – making sure her guests were not only organized but also entertained and well-fed. Her background in logistics and experience in food prep helps her when it comes to planning meals for guests during their stay. She is comfortable working around dietary restrictions and flexible to meet your needs.

Nikolaj Jelsbech

Nikolaj is a dedicated chef, hailing from Denmark, where a love for food was instilled early in his family. With a passion for culinary adventures, he's traveled the world in search of exceptional flavors and ingredients. What truly sets Chef Nikolaj apart is his devotion to honesty in food.

Rather than disguising ingredients, he lets the flavors speak for themselves. Each dish is a tribute to the natural beauty of unadulterated ingredients, where simplicity and authenticity reign supreme.

In a fascinating twist, Chef Nikolaj sought wisdom and balance by training with Shaolin monks in China. From this unique experience, he's blended the discipline of the mind and body with his culinary artistry, creating a harmonious fusion of flavors and philosophies. Each dish he creates is a testament to his worldly adventures and the wisdom he's gained along the way.

Cory busichio.

Cory's passion for water sports started at a young age while growing up on the Chesapeake Bay a few miles from Annapolis, Maryland - the US sailing capital. He has over 20 years of experience skippering, racing, teaching and captaining sailboats and is excited to show anyone the ins and out of the sport.

He has been cruising the Caribbean since the early 2000's aboard large sailing catamarans and can share his extensive knowledge of the islands, restaurants and culture with you. Cory was the captain on a Sunreef 60 the past four seasons and is excited to learn the ins and outs of Ohana as a mate before rotating as the captain next season.

Emily Busichio

Emily comes from a family of charter boat captains. She was taught from a young age everything about the boating industry and conservation, while being raised on Tybee Island, Georgia. Emily has always had an extreme passion for being on the water and outdoor activities.

As a certified yoga instructor, she has taught many practices on the beach, stand up paddle boards and sailboats. Emily has more than 20 years experience in the service industry. She has spent the past five years creating exquisite meals on large catamarans in the Bahamas and the Virgin Islands. As your stew, she will provide wine and cocktails paired to every occasion while making your experience a fun, safe environment.

If you're interested in adding yoga into your sailing vacation, Emily will be happy to offer three complementary yoga sessions on the boat, beach or stand up paddleboards.

Guests can then enjoy a 60 or 90 minute yoga flow guided by Erika, a short meditation focusing on the movement of water and breathwork, then a nutritious smoothie for breakfast and a ginger-tumeric immunity booster!

It is requested that the entire group agree on this option as Erika cannot teach yoga and also make a full warm breakfast at the same time. This option is great for those who feel three meals, including a three-course dinner and snacks, a day is too much or who would like to be mindful about their health while on vacation. OM and YUM in paradise!

With three fully-equipped wet bars, a central open-concept galley, and seamless flow between the yacht’s interior and exterior spaces, Ohana creates a perfect platform to host guests comfortably. Classy lines underscore her modern style with a classic edge. The contemporary decor finds softness in the warm, light woods and coastal blues of her inviting interior. Her bold exterior boasts a custom color hull.

A vast, central lounging space with a panoramic view opens both onto the bow terrace and cockpit. The bow benefits from a cozy lounge, well shielded from sun and wind. To the aft, the saloon merges with the spacious cockpit offering a lovely al fresco dining area. The cockpit overlooks an extra large hydraulic platform that can act as a swim-up island once the jet tender is splashed. From the aft bathing platform, you can launch water toys, try scuba diving for the first time or sun tan all at sea-level. All the areas combined form a universal, open environment where flexibility and freedom reign.

Ohana has a built in scuba diving compressor and an area designated to tanks and top-of-the-line gear. Four Seabobs are also on offer along with a wide array of water toys and adventure sports to try.

Unique to Ohana, a day-head is located in the aft cockpit to allow for maximum comfort during the day. The day head is complete with a wash basin and changing table for our younger guests. In addition, there are two waterfall shower heads by each aft sugar scoop for fresh water rinses throughout the sunny, salty days. Underwater lights line the waterline for an added ambiance in the evening.

High bulwarks and a large beam lend to the superstructure design allowing for a generous flybridge and bimini that extends its full length. Along with dual helms, the flybridge is dedicated to leisure, with comfortable seating, plush sunpads, and a large jacuzzi. There are options to dine al fresco while enjoying movie night with the family or catch a game on the large, retractable flatscreen TV while simultaneously enjoying a 360 view of the Caribbean.

The hulls provide impressive volumes to this large yacht. Airy, luxurious guest cabins encompass king-size beds, roomy closets and storage spaces, retractable TV and an immense bathroom. A perfect setting to unwind and relax after a long day in the sun.

Cory’s passion for water sports started at a young age while growing up on the Chesapeake Bay a few miles from Annapolis, Maryland – the US sailing capital. He has over 20 years of experience skippering, racing, teaching and captaining sailboats and is excited to show anyone the ins and out of the sport. He has been cruising the Caribbean since the early 2000’s aboard large sailing catamarans and can share his extensive knowledge of the islands, restaurants and culture with you. Emily comes from a family of charter boat captains. She was taught from a young age everything about the boating industry and conservation, while being raised on Tybee Island, Georgia. Emily has always had an extreme passion for being on the water and outdoor activities. As a certified yoga instructor, she has taught many practices on the beach, stand up paddle boards and sailboats. Emily has more than 20 years experience in the service industry. She has spent the past five years creating exquisite meals on large catamarans in the Bahamas and the Virgin Islands. As your stew, she will provide wine and cocktails paired to every occasion while making your experience a fun, safe environment.

If you’re interested in adding yoga into your sailing vacation, Emily will be happy to offer three complementary yoga sessions on the boat, beach or stand up paddleboards.

This crew’s strong background in water safety and background in scuba diving makes them capable of providing an extra level of security to all of their guests.

Chef Nikolaj’s menus focus on featuring local items in a creative and sophisticated way. This means fresh-farmed eggs, hand picked microgreens, and island-farmed vegetables when available. Local hot sauces, inspired infused flavors and supporting local every chance we get. 

Breads and baked goods are all made in the galley or sourced from local bakeries. He uses organic and high quality ingredients. Ohana supports keeping sustainability a priority when selecting meats and fish for our guests. 

Dietary requirements and preferences can be met with advance notice. We are happy to accommodate everyone from picky eaters to those on medical diets. Most menu options can be served in a gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian or pescetarian modification easily. Certain diets require high-cost provisioning and may be subject to an additional cost. 

Menus and planned meals are subject to change at any time due to remote provisioning restrictions, guest requests, sailing plans or at the chef’s discretion. 

For celebrations requiring special items, themed decoration or large dessert requests, the guests may be asked to take Happy Hour on shore to give the crew time to set up, set the mood, and aim for a beautiful surprise. Please give advance notice for celebration cakes.

Our instructors will review the medical forms and follow up with you if they think any of the “YES” responses require additional clarification. • The crew reserves the right to bench a diver who is not practicing safe behavior.
• If a diver chooses to sit out a planned dive, that is fine, but the dive will still count toward the total guided dives included.

The heart of Ohana’s warmth lies in her cabins, where luxury meets comfort in a symphony of design. Each cabin is a private retreat, featuring sumptuous beds draped in the softest linens, panoramic windows or bulleyes offering views of the endless blue, and en-suite bathrooms that offer a spa-like escape. Whether waking to the gentle lapping of waves or falling asleep to the starlit sky, guests find in each cabin a haven, a whisper of the ocean’s serene lullaby.

Up to 38 guests can be accommodated in Ohana’s 18 cabins. They are divided into 12 double, four twin and two triple cabins. Each cabin comes with its own private ensuite bathroom and toiletries, a flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi, a safe box, surround system and air-conditioning.

Cruising the Moskva River: A short guide to boat trips in Russia’s capital

There’s hardly a better way to absorb Moscow’s atmosphere than on a ship sailing up and down the Moskva River. While complicated ticketing, loud music and chilling winds might dampen the anticipated fun, this checklist will help you to enjoy the scenic views and not fall into common tourist traps.

How to find the right boat?

There are plenty of boats and selecting the right one might be challenging. The size of the boat should be your main criteria.

Plenty of small boats cruise the Moskva River, and the most vivid one is this yellow Lay’s-branded boat. Everyone who has ever visited Moscow probably has seen it.

This option might leave a passenger disembarking partially deaf as the merciless Russian pop music blasts onboard. A free spirit, however, will find partying on such a vessel to be an unforgettable and authentic experience that’s almost a metaphor for life in modern Russia: too loud, and sometimes too welcoming. Tickets start at $13 (800 rubles) per person.

Bigger boats offer smoother sailing and tend to attract foreign visitors because of their distinct Soviet aura. Indeed, many of the older vessels must have seen better days. They are still afloat, however, and getting aboard is a unique ‘cultural’ experience. Sometimes the crew might offer lunch or dinner to passengers, but this option must be purchased with the ticket. Here is one such  option  offering dinner for $24 (1,490 rubles).

If you want to travel in style, consider Flotilla Radisson. These large, modern vessels are quite posh, with a cozy restaurant and an attentive crew at your service. Even though the selection of wines and food is modest, these vessels are still much better than other boats.

Surprisingly, the luxurious boats are priced rather modestly, and a single ticket goes for $17-$32 (1,100-2,000 rubles); also expect a reasonable restaurant bill on top.

How to buy tickets?

Women holding photos of ships promise huge discounts to “the young and beautiful,” and give personal invitations for river tours. They sound and look nice, but there’s a small catch: their ticket prices are usually more than those purchased online.

“We bought tickets from street hawkers for 900 rubles each, only to later discover that the other passengers bought their tickets twice as cheap!”  wrote  (in Russian) a disappointed Rostislav on a travel company website.

Nevertheless, buying from street hawkers has one considerable advantage: they personally escort you to the vessel so that you don’t waste time looking for the boat on your own.

Prices start at $13 (800 rubles) for one ride, and for an additional $6.5 (400 rubles) you can purchase an unlimited number of tours on the same boat on any given day.

Flotilla Radisson has official ticket offices at Gorky Park and Hotel Ukraine, but they’re often sold out.

Buying online is an option that might save some cash. Websites such as  this   offer considerable discounts for tickets sold online. On a busy Friday night an online purchase might be the only chance to get a ticket on a Flotilla Radisson boat.

This  website  (in Russian) offers multiple options for short river cruises in and around the city center, including offbeat options such as ‘disco cruises’ and ‘children cruises.’ This other  website  sells tickets online, but doesn’t have an English version. The interface is intuitive, however.

Buying tickets online has its bad points, however. The most common is confusing which pier you should go to and missing your river tour.

“I once bought tickets online to save with the discount that the website offered,” said Igor Shvarkin from Moscow. “The pier was initially marked as ‘Park Kultury,’ but when I arrived it wasn’t easy to find my boat because there were too many there. My guests had to walk a considerable distance before I finally found the vessel that accepted my tickets purchased online,” said the man.

There are two main boarding piers in the city center:  Hotel Ukraine  and  Park Kultury . Always take note of your particular berth when buying tickets online.

Where to sit onboard?

Even on a warm day, the headwind might be chilly for passengers on deck. Make sure you have warm clothes, or that the crew has blankets ready upon request.

The glass-encased hold makes the tour much more comfortable, but not at the expense of having an enjoyable experience.

Getting off the boat requires preparation as well. Ideally, you should be able to disembark on any pier along the way. In reality, passengers never know where the boat’s captain will make the next stop. Street hawkers often tell passengers in advance where they’ll be able to disembark. If you buy tickets online then you’ll have to research it yourself.

There’s a chance that the captain won’t make any stops at all and will take you back to where the tour began, which is the case with Flotilla Radisson. The safest option is to automatically expect that you’ll return to the pier where you started.

Manila Yacht Club and Marina, Manila, Metro Manila

Established in 1927, the Manila Yacht Club and Marina is one of the oldest yacht clubs in all of Asia, and is nestled in the scenic Manila Bay. It is also near other well-known landmarks in the city, such as the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), the headquarters of the Philippine Navy, and the US Embassy. Facilities in the marina include a launching ramp and a fueling center, and the club itself is host to a restaurant and gorgeous function rooms. The Manila Yacht Club only welcomes visitors who arrive by boat, and it charges an initial security deposit of USD 750 upon arrival. Club membership is mandatory for medium and long-term mooring of boats.

Subic Bay Yacht Club, Zambales

The Subic Bay Yacht Club, which was founded in 1998, upholds itself as the country’s premier yacht club. It operates in the deepest bay in the country, and can host vessels well beyond 50 meters in length. Already benefitting from the innate beauty of the Zambales mountains surrounding it, the club hosts a number of other attractions, including its luxury accommodations, swimming pools, and its own movie theater, bowling alley, and nightclub. Those who venture outside of the club’s premises can also shop for well-priced imported goods at the Subic Freeport Zone, engage in water sports , or sign up for diving excursions.

Punta Fuego Yacht Club, Batangas

Peaceful Punta Fuego is a mecca for those who love the sport of sailing. As per its official website, the Punta Fuego Yacht Club aims to serve “a dynamic and vibrant community of boat enthusiasts and yacht owners.” This it does by playing host to a diverse population of watercrafts, from large catamarans and mono-hull yachts to small boats. Non-members of the club may use the berths for up to 3 weeks, and can refuel at the marina’s fueling station. The yacht club offers other amenities such as locker rooms, shower rooms, Internet facilities, a chart room, and a restaurant called Barracuda Bar, which serves delicious fares. Outside of the yachting crowd, Punta Fuego Yacht Club also caters to those wishing to celebrate weddings, conferences, and corporate events in their opulent quarters.

Puerto Galera Yacht Club, Oriental Mindoro

Further south, yachtsmen may moor at the Puerto Galera Yacht Club in Oriental Mindoro, an island location that’s home to tourist attractions like the Sabang Wreck dive site, lively beachfront resorts, and the Malasimbo Music Festival. Puerto Galera Yacht Club has been in operation for almost thirty years and lends services such as refueling provisions and yacht repairs from its marina. Boat owners also enjoy optimal convenience if mooring here, as they can also shop for spare parts in the nearby Batangas port.

Busuanga Yacht Club, Puerta del Sol Bay Marina, Palawan

Beautiful Palawan is a bucket-list destination for many, especially those who dream of cruising its crystalline waters. Accommodating the yachting community in this island province is the Busuanga Yacht Club, which promises secure mooring amidst breathtaking white-sand beaches. Here, each vessel will benefit from a typhoon-safe harbor, easy refueling, and direct access to transportation hubs like the New Busuanga Airport. Adjoining this marina is the Puerta del Sol Bay Resort, which offers luxurious accommodations to visitors. Iloilo Sailing Club, Arevelo, Iloilo City, Iloilo

What will round off an unforgettable visit to Iloilo, however, is an excursion to the Iloilo Sailing Club on a leisure watercraft. The club accepts visitors and encourages membership in the case of medium and long-stay mooring. It also hosts a number of amenities and activities, including a dinghy storage, a beach bar and restaurant, and classes for those who want to learn about sailing. In recent months, the Iloilo Sailing Club has also been a convenient meet-up point for big maritime events, such as the Iloilo-Guimaras Paraw Regatta and the Seafarers’ Job Fair.

Cebu Yacht Club, Mactan Island, Cebu

The historic Mactan Island in Cebu was the site of Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan’s arrival in the Philippines. Now known as a commercial hub that hosts a prolific furniture and musical instruments industries, Mactan is also the location of the Cebu Yacht Club, an institution that is beloved by the locals. Aside from being an ideal spot to restock on much-needed fuel and supplies, the Cebu Yacht Club is also a trusted club to commission for boat repairs. There’s a good vibe in this club for everybody, as it sports both luxury accommodations and a waterfront strip of restaurants that laid-back diners can frequent. MINDANAO

Holiday Oceanview Marina, Samal Island, Davao del Norte

The Holiday Oceanview Marina is a major attraction of Samal Island in Davao del Norte Province, one that welcomes Filipino and foreign yachtsmen alike to moor within its premises. The space is quite roomy, in fact, with 56 berths that can fit vessels up to 15 meters in length. The club also has a boat ramp that can accommodate boats up to 18 meters in length.
