ATOMIC is a 63.8 m Motor Yacht, built in Italy by Viareggio Superyachts and delivered in 2020. Her top speed is 17kn and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 5200.0 nm at 12kn, with power coming from two Caterpillar diesel engines. SPECIFICATIONS

Atomic features a bulbous bow for better seakeeping in rough conditions, with naval architecture created by British studio Laurent Giles. A “warm contemporary” interior uses textured leather panels and honed marble to create a cosy atmosphere. Power will come from a pair of 2,682hp Caterpillar 3516B engines for an estimated top speed of 17 knots, while the total fuel capacity of 163,000 litres should allow for a globetrotting maximum range of 5,200 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Key features on board this VSY superyacht include a bridge deck gymnasium and a 12-person dive centre on the lower deck. Meanwhile, the superyacht sundeck will feature an infinity pool, fire pit and separate bar area.

Her highlights include a generously-sized infinity pool on the sundeck aft and professional diving centre. The fire pit located forward on the sundeck provides a cosy atmosphere where guests can hang out at night.

The general arrangement features six suites, including an owner’s cabin with panoramic views out to sea and exterior terraces, while an aft-facing skylounge boasts uninterrupted vistas thanks to its minimal structural design. Accommodation is for 12 guests, while the crew quarters have been designed for a staff of up to 16.

Darnet Design founder Franck Darnet previously described the interior décor as “warm contemporary”, using textured leather panels and honed marble to create a cosy atmosphere. The woodwork will feature walnut and high-gloss elm, while metal inserts will be made from stainless steel and brushed nickel.

The 210-Foot VSY “Atomic” is Delivered

Darnet Design in France says the 210-foot VSY Atomic —the design firm’s largest build to date—has been delivered to her owners.

The project was for a repeat client who tapped Darnet Design to create the yacht’s interiors.

“The brief required a warm, cozy and timeless interior inspired by marine life,” according to the design firm. “This theme extends from bow to stern, achieving calm and inviting spaces throughout the yacht.”

American walnut is featured throughout the vessel, including in the soles, slats and furniture. There are polished nickel inlays in the shape of grooved brain coral on panels and in the sole. Natural and mushroom-finished leather upholstery, along with 100 percent white cotton carpets, add to the calm ambience.

Accommodations are for 12 guests in six staterooms, including a master forward on the main deck with private terraces. There’s a reading lounge to starboard and a “panoramic shower” to port, distinguishing Atomic from the previous VSY launches RoMa and SeaLyon .

64-metre vsy yacht atomic delivered .

TWW Yachts are proud to announce that M/Y ATOMIC has recently been delivered to her owner. The project, was handled by TWW’s new build specialist Jean-Claude Carme. The 64-meter, 4-deck VSY superyacht will embark on the Atlantic crossing after a short stop in the French Riviera.

Motor yacht ATOMIC’s future is destined to be full of adventure thanks to the owner’s ambitious travelling programme that will explore some of the world’s most remote and breathtaking dive sites.

Franck Darnet Design was responsible for her exceptional interior and the notable Espen Oeino for her exterior.

This winning combination leads to a vessel situated at the top of its class when it comes to comfort, luxury and artistic creation. MY ATOMIC accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 staterooms, with 18 crew onboard, thus guaranteeing a 1:1 crew ratio and an optimal charter experience.

In addition, she has cutting-edge technical and engineering solutions such as a Dynamic Positioning system and diesel electric thrusters, that further augment the perfect balance between design and governability. Some of ATOMIC’s highlights include an infinity pool on the sundeck aft and a fire pit, that will surely create a cosy atmosphere when overlooking some of the world’s most spectacular destinations.

ATOMIC has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 17 knots.

Timeless yacht concepts last forever: Five years after delivering M/Y "Africa", Sunrise Yachts launched a sister ship in August in Antalya started as "Project Sunset - Hull 182". The yacht's name "Atomic" remained confidential until its delivery to its North-American client as the yacht was a surprise to his family!

"Atomic" is a three-deck, deep-sea, full displacement, transatlantic, steel hull and aluminium superstructure luxury motor yacht, built to operate for private use or charter in all seas and oceans of the world.

The yacht's main characteristics include large volumes at 499 Gross Tons, excellent deck heights, great stability, comfort and seaworthiness, very low levels of sound and vibration, an affective layout, and extreme fuel efficiency.

A full-length technical tunnel running from the engine room to the bow-thruster compartment – an unprecedented feature on yachts in this category until the launch of the first vessel in the series, M/Y "Africa" – provides easy access to tanks and systems at bilge deck level.

The interior design was entrusted to the talent of Nantes-based Franck Darnet Design, who had previously designed the interior for M/Y "Africa". In sharp contrast with the first Sunrise 45m's dark tropical woods, "Hull 182"'s contemporary and elegant décor will feature light veneers and a bright colour scheme.

Following the yacht's maiden cruise in Turkey and Greece last month, the owner stated: "I was thrilled to step aboard "Atomic" at the launch. As I walked around the yacht I found everything to be just as designed. The team at Sunrise have built me a master piece, perfect in fit and finish and crafted with a talent for detail. It was a pleasure working with the young company owners and team as they all wanted to go beyond the norm to create a wonderful yachting experience. I love the sturdy steel hull built to be a world wide capable yacht yet designed to be miserly on fuel. "Atomic" will be an awesome floating family home, a base for great adventure."
