ISA Yachts announces sale of fourth Extra X96 Triplex

Extra Yachts , a brand of ISA Yachts , has sold the fourth unit in its 28.6-metre Extra X96 Triplex series to a European client. The yacht is the sistership of Anvilugi , the first hull in the series, and delivery of the new model is scheduled for summer 2024.

The yacht's 238 GT is spread across four decks, giving Milan-based studio Hot Lab plenty of space to style the lasted model with a "modern and eclectic" theme. Exterior lines are by Francesco Guida in collaboration with Palumbo Superyachts , and the team has worked on achieving a continuous connection between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout. 

The yacht has a six-cabin layout comprising two VIPs, two lower deck twins, an upper deck VIP and a 40 square metre owner's cabin on the main deck forward. Openable floor-to-ceiling windows flank the main deck and upper decks, allowing light and air into the interior.  

The yacht has a beam of 7.6 metres and a hull length of just 23.8 metres, meaning she falls under the CE category for recreational craft up to 24 metres. The Extra X96 features a triple Volvo Penta IPS propulsion package which delivers a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

The buyer of hull four was introduced by Igor Cherentaev at Aberton Yachts , marking the second consecutive X96 sold by Aberton Yachts following the sale of hull three.

The unconventional look of ISA ’s Extra 126 may not appeal to traditional yacht owners. It will, however, be highly appreciated by liveaboards who want to incorporate every drop of sunshine and salty ocean breeze into their yachting lifestyles. Instead of the typical showboat look that often minimizes interior space for a tighter profile, or turns areas like formal dining rooms into unusable museum sets, yacht-architect Francesco Guida’s design offers a fresh list of priorities for maximizing the cruising lifestyle.

The first Extra 76 was launched recently and ISA plans to build an extended family that includes 86-, 93-, and 116-foot models, with the 126 as flagship. Recently sold to a European owner, the first 126 will be delivered in the summer of 2019. The concept behind the Extra line is to create a new style of yacht with maximum onboard comfort, low fuel consumption for long-range navigation, and outdoor areas that provide fast, easy contact to the sea.

The 126’s main saloon actually seems more like an ocean villa than a yacht, thanks to the added volume of the boat’s extra-wide beam, tall floor-to-ceiling windows, and loose furniture. That sense of openness and proximity to the sea is carried across the boat, from the sundeck and owner’s suite, all the way to the spacious beach club, which feels like a terrace on the ocean, rather than in the cockpit of a boat.

The yacht’s long-range cruising lifestyle is also enhanced by solar panels on topside surfaces and photo-voltaic cells in the saloon windows that provide clean power. Solar energy is stored in the yacht’s batteries to power the house systems. Fuel-efficient, twin 1,400 hp MAN engines were also chosen to deliver a top speed of 17 knots, and a friendly cruise speed of 15 knots. At 12 knots, the 126 has a range of 2,500 nautical miles. It’s not transatlantic, but who cares? Combined with the renewable solar power and onboard systems, the 126 could cruise for weeks without having to call into port. ISA will also offer equipment like a water desalinator, UV sterilizer, water softener, and other options typically found on larger expedition yachts. The Extra 126 will have five owner and guest staterooms to accommodate up to 12 guests, with crew quarters for seven.

Exceptional volumes for her size, the comfort and convenience of a villa on the coast, very low fuel consumption for long range, and spaces that encourage direct contact with the sea: these are the basic features of the new EXTRA range by ISA Yachts.

ISA Yachts debuts its new line designed by Eng. Francesco Guida with EXTRA 76, a 23 meter yacht that develops a new cruise concept. The  Extra 76 gives guests the chance to live in close contact with the nature, creating a direct feeling with the sea both in navigation and at anchor. The boat uses all the comfort given by the large outside and inside volumes.

EXTRA as “Extra ordinary”, a yacht with features that are significantly quite different from the most well-known ones of ISA Yachts. Unusual lines, smaller dimensions, an innovative ‘concept of use’: the EXTRA 76 is designed to meet the needs of those who want to get closer to the world of yachting.

A spirit of full conviviality with their guests or family

The outset look expresses the distinctive character and the unique personality of EXTRA 76: the play of contrasts on the yacht’s sides between light-coloured fiberglass and dark glazing recalls at first glance the lines of a traditional sport yacht seen from a contemporary perspective. Looking at the winding, charming shape reveals the impressive, full-height volume that extends almost to the bow stem. The large vertical and horizontal glazed surfaces are combined like part of a crystal sphere, and offer plenty of natural light and unprecedented space for a yacht a ‘mere’ 76 feet long.

The open air life is guaranteed by generous outdoor spaces, designed to enjoy maximum comfort and close contact with nature. The cockpit, which on a mega yacht would be called a beach club, delivers unusual volumes on overhang of the flybridge. The central section furnished with big sofas, a table and a maxi sun lounging pad, and the stern swim platform. The fly deck offers a second helm station, an area for with a C-shaped sofa and a huge sun lounging pad, without compromising on the exterior styling of EXTRA 76 in any way.

Isa Yachts has delivered the first Extra 76 yacht

The first hull in the new line of cruising yachts launched by Italian yard Isa Yachts has been launched.

The Isa Extra 76 has been delivered to her owner and is on display at the Versillia Rendezvouz in Viareggio.

Isa Yachts is owned by the Palumbo Group and recently sold a large 38m vessel in the Extra range.

The new vessel is designed by Francesco Guida. She offers one of the largest interior volumes compared with similar yachts in her class. The design style supports a Mediterranean lifestyle.

An open flybridge permits the navigation in sunny conditions and also offers a hang-out space for the guests.

Three guest cabins are available plus a full-beam master suite means that she can accommodate eight guests on board.

Power is provided by two Volvo Penta IPS diesel engines for a top speed of 21 knots and a range of 700 nautical miles.

He’s every turnstile jumper’s worst nightmare. 

An MTA ticket booth attendant at a Brooklyn subway station wants to see brazen scofflaws punished for evading fares – so he announces them over the loud speaker.

He hopes his public address announcements — in which he describes each evader — gets the attention of cops patrolling the station.

“So I’m at the L train at Jefferson Street and why the guy in the booth is literally announcing people who are hopping the turnstile, and he’s like, ‘Girl in the green jacket, two girls coming down the stairs,’” a New Yorker named Trevona says in the beginning of an April 14 TikTok video titled “So MTA workers are announcing fare evaders now.” 

Suddenly, the MTA employee’s voice is heard booming over the intercom: “MTA police officers … coming down the stairs, green jacket, blue jeans, fare evader!” 

Then Trevona pans the camera to show two uniformed NYPD officers across the tracks, backs and feet liesurely leaning on the wall, seemingly unmoved by announcement.

One cop has his hands in his pockets, while the other appears to be on his cell phone. 

“I thought [the police] was gonna run over but they laughing at [poop emoji] on they phone,” Trevona observes in the comments section of the 30-second video, which has amassed more than 80,000 views. 

In response to the TikTok, an NYPD spokesperson said that police must observe violations of transit rules in order to address the perpetrator. 

“There is no set cross-agency protocol for announcing observed fare evaders” between the MTA and NYPD, the spokesperson added. 

“Station agents work closely with the NYPD, serving as eyes and ears to help improve overall rider experience,” MTA spokesperson Kayla Shults told The Post when asked about the attendant’s fare-enforcement strategy.

What’s The Price Of A Four Seasons Yacht Cruise?

The first Caribbean itineraries feature seven nights of exploration through the most exciting yachting destinations, including Saint Barthélemy (St Barths), Nevis, the Grenadines, St Lucia, Barbados, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Curaçao and Aruba.

The first Grand Mediterranean voyages will begin in March 2026 and include sailings through Croatia, Gibraltar, Montenegro, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Türkiye. The Mediterranean itinerary will also highlight the Greek Isles, with stops in Athens, Ios, Santorini, Milos, and more. Guests will explore under-the-radar islands steeped in culture and history, offering a variety of experiences that go above and beyond the ordinary of Mediterranean sailings.

One of our favorite Mediterranean voyages runs from 20 March to 28 March 2026, with fares starting from $29,500 per suite per voyage in USD and routing from Malaga — Menorca — La Joliette — Saint Tropez — Isola Di Ponza — Trapani — Gozo — Valletta.

We also like their Greek island voyage, as it stops at lots of small islands that would be fun to visit. It sails with departures from 5 April to 17 2026. Fares start from $24,500 USD per suite per voyage. This voyage routes from Athens, where you can stay at the magnificent Four Seasons Athens, routing via Spetsai — iOS — Santorini – Agios Nikolaos – Yalikavak – Bodrum – Cesme, and ending up in Istanbul.

What’s The Cheapest Cabin?

The Sea View Suite offers the best value on these cruises and offers a stunning main bedroom pictured below, along with a generous decked balcony with an L-shaped sofa and a hugely comfy lounger chair.

The largest suites on this ship are enormous. The Loft Suite includes an audacious atrium lounge with towering glass windows and a marvelous deck with its own private pool. This extravagant suite could easily fit a large family as it is comprised of 3 bedrooms along with its own gym and splash pool.

The Funnel Suite is the most luxurious accommodation aboard the ship. It spans four levels and encompasses over 9,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space. It includes a private wading pool and an exclusive spa area. Offering vertical and horizontal connectivity, this suite presents one of the largest continuously connected living spaces at sea. Its floor-to-ceiling wraparound curved glass window modules, featuring the largest contiguous piece of glass at sea, offer breathtaking 280-degree views.
