A Summary of Sailing Yacht RUNAWAY

The well proportioned superyacht RUNAWAY is a sailing yacht. This 34 m (112 foot) luxury yacht was manufactured at Cantiere Navale Valdettaro in 1991. RUNAWAY was formerly named Pearl Serenade; Serenade. She is a modern sloop motor sailer. Superyacht RUNAWAY is a elegant yacht that is able to sleep a total of 10 guests on board and has a total of 5 crew. This graceful boat was envisaged with a naval architect called Laurent Giles. Studio Garroni was successful with the interior design.

Sailing yacht RUNAWAY is a 112 foot Motor-Sailor was built in 1991 by Valdettaro Shipyard in Viareggio and extensively modernized in 1999. 10 guests are accommodated in five luxury air-conditioned cabins, four of which are large twin that convert easily into doubles and One Master Suite that spans the full width of the boat.

The New Build & Naval Architecture with respect to Luxury Yacht RUNAWAY

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Laurent Giles. The technical naval architect firm intellectual property are a products of Laurent Giles. Sailing Yacht RUNAWAY received her stylish interior designing from the interior design office of Studio Garroni. Created by Cantiere Navale Valdettaro the vessel was completed in the country of Italy. She was successfully launched in Le Grazie in 1991 before being handed over to the owner. The main hull was crafted from steel. The sailing yacht main superstructure is fabricated mostly using aluminium. With a beam of 7.89 metres or 25.9 feet RUNAWAY has moderate room. She has a shallow draught of 2.8m (9.2ft). She had refit maintenance and changes undertaken in 1999.

S/Y RUNAWAY Engineering & Speeds:

She for its propulsion uses a sole DEUTZ-MWM main engine(s) and can drive at a dignified top end speed underway at 12 knots. The engine of the ship produces 429 horse power (or 316 kilowatts). Her total HP is 429 HP and her total Kilowatts are 316. Connected to her Deutz-Mwm engine(s) are a single screw propeller. For thrusters she was fitted with Torkmaster.

Having chambers for a limit of 10 welcome guests spending the night, the RUNAWAY accommodates everyone luxuriously. This ship requires approximately 5 capable crew members to manage.

UNPLUGGED for charter

Unplugged was built specially for the charter market and is the perfect combination of power under sail and luxury within. Unplugged, built in 1993 by Valdettaro in Italy and 33.8m long, has been meticulously maintained since her launch, including a refit in 2001. Designed by Laurent Giles Naval Architects, Unplugged has recently undergone a hull re-paint and has had new decks and machinery installed.

The ultimate charter yacht, Unplugged is perfect for entertaining. Boasting a light and open interior, Unplugged can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in five large, stylish staterooms, a master suite and four twin staterooms which can be converted into doubles if required.

Unplugged has numerous dining options to offer, both inside and out, including her remarkable and generous cockpit, which has seating for up to 20 guests for al fresco dining under the stars with amazing views all around. The plunge pool on the deck offers the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Unplugged carries a fabulous selection of water toys on board which are accessible from the swim platform, including wave runners and a Laser 2000 sailing dinghy.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 1994, Takapuna offers guest accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites. There are 7 beds in total, including 4 queen and 6 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you such as Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Takapuna is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Takapuna comfortably cruises at 8 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 1,000 nautical miles from her 6,396 litre fuel tanks.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Takapuna. Principle among these are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Another excellent feature are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Also there are two SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and experience life swimming with the fish. If that isn't enough Takapuna also features wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Takapuna has a 5.18m/17' RIB to transfer you from ship to shore.
