Lawton Water Authority meets to discuss lease increases and extensions for clubs in lakes area
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The Lawton Boat Club, the Sunken Bridge Yacht Club, and the Minnow Marina at Fisherman’s Cove were up for discussion before the Lawton City Council Fee Committee.
One concern city officials had. was making sure the City was getting fair market value by raising the fees on the land
So to compensate, lease prices have been increased and extended for the Lawton Boat Club and Sunken Bridge Yacht Club.
However, the committee chose not to renew the Minnow Marina lease, which is set to expire in June. We have been unable to contact anyone from the club for comment at this time.
