RENT A TOP BOAT IN MALLOCA ISLAND, NORTH OF MALLORCA.

You will not know Mallorca properly until you have sailed across its waters. That was the main reason why Ritchie decided to set up Alcudia Bay Boat Rental in 2012, a boat rental company located in Ca´n Picafort, in the heart of the Alcudia Bay, in the north of the island of Mallorca. After years enjoying the most hidden coves, away from everything and everyone, the most stunning blue colors are only accessible to those who sail across the waters of the north of Mallorca. The team of Alcudia Bay Boat Rental wants to share with you all these landscapes and experiences. We want you to know the most beautiful and unknown Mallorca side and we will make it easy for you! In Alcudia Bay Boat Rental we have two types of rental boats, depending on you having or not the specific license required to sail a boat. For all those who have a boat license, we strongly recommend you to rent the Graünner 650 Walkarround vessel, a 6.5 metre-lenght boat which, with a 200 hp outboard motor together with the rest of conveniences, will delight the crew; or our v2 500, a extraordinary stable boat with 40 horse power. For large groups we recommend the SACS 770 S25 Dream with 200 horse power, a boat with a construction capacity UP TO 18 PASSENGERS, where you can enjoy 12 friends according to current Spanish law. Or the Remus 525 boat for 6 people also with 40 HP. For those who do not have a license, you may hire the Quicksylver 455 Activ Open, a boat manufactured in 2017 which has everything necessary to spend an incredible day in the sea or our v2 500 built in 2019. We also have the Remus 525 with 15 horses, the largest boat on the rental market without a license. Do you fancy going for a swim? Rent your boat in Mallorca right now!

If you are a sea lover and you want to enjoy it to the maximum living a new experience, renting a no-license boat is what you were looking for. At Alcudia Bay Boat Rental we are committed to our Quicksylver 455 Activ Open, our v2 5.0, or our two Remus 525s. Quick, light, comfortable and very safe boats. See our rates in low season and high season. Whether you have visited before the island or is the first time that you visit Mallorca, the shades of blue in the sea aren’t going to leave you indifferent. Surely you have heard a million times of hidden coves in the North of the island, the ones no one shows you how to get, isn’t it true? Well, ¡Is time you discover it by yourself! Hire one of our boats without license and discover all these secret coves in the North of Mallorca, as well as the crystal clear waters of the Alcudia bay in a way you have never imagined. If you are going to stay or you stay in the North of Mallorca, you can lease a boat without license in our office in Ca’n Picafort, located in the middle of the Alcudia bay, or in our office of Son Serra de Marina. I HAVE A BOAT LICENSE; CAN I HIRE A TOP BOAT?

If you are used to sailing and you have a license ratified in Spain (ask us if you have doubts), in Alcudia Bay Boat Rental we also have renting boats for you. For expert sailors, we rent the Graünner 650 Walkaround. It is a boat manufactured in Galicia, with a very sporty style and careful finishing touches. Technical innovation and safety, space and speed…A renting boat ready for enjoying the waters of Mallorca like you had never done before, with a driving place which will surprise you due to its comfort. After trying it, no one will be able to get you off the boat! A 6.5 meter-length boat ready to enjoy the sea in good company the time you wish. If you prefer a boat specially designed for the sea of Mallorca for 6 passengers our proposal is the motorboat v2 5.0, wide and secure with a 40 horse power engine that will allow you to navigate in the Mediterranean without even getting wet. Or if you are a large group the SACS 770 S25 DREAM with 200 horsepower will allow you to navigate up to 12 passengers, although the boat is designed for up to 18 people. In Alcudia Bay Boat Rental we are flexible regarding the rental timing options: you can rent a boat only for a few hours to discover the surroundings of Ca´n Picafort and Alcudia; for a day, being able to enjoy a picnic onboard and a swim in the sunset or even renting it for the days you need to discover every corner of the northern island with your family or friends. If you are planning to visit Alcudia Bay soon, do not hesitate to rent your boat right now and….sail! We will tell you the best places to navigate so that you can enjoy the island of Mallorca like no one else.

With its 15 kilometres of beach, Alcudia is Mallorca's number one sun and beach destination! Before boarding your boat to head out to sea, it is highly recommended to visit the area around the port, Puerto de Alcudia.

This area is bustling during the summer months and offers a wide range of restaurants and bars that won't disappoint. If you're feeling restless, you can also try your hand at various water sports or play tennis or golf!

When it comes to the beach itself, it's perfect for families as it's both wide and shallow. Along the beach there is also a promenade where you can take beautiful walks at sunset or go for your morning run.

If you're looking for a quieter swim, take the boat to Playa de Muro beach, which is located a little further south, perfect as it has a more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere!

A few kilometres further inland is the historic 14th-century town centre surrounded by a city wall. Here you'll find Roman ruins, medieval churches and picturesque alleyways. What's more, the medieval town centre has a market a few times a week that's not to be missed.

Straight south of Alcudia is also the large nature reserve of S'Albufera. If you're a fan of nature, this is a destination not to be missed. There are up to 300 different species of birds here, many of which are rare, endangered or exotic.

Alcudia is located on Mallorca, one of the four islands of the Spanish Balearic Islands . But Click&Boat also has boats on the other three Balearic islands:

  • Yacht hire in Ibiza
  • Yacht hire in Formentera
  • Boat rental in Menorca - rent a yacht in Palma de Mallorca  and sail the crystal-clear waters of the Balearic Islands in style!

Where can you sail from Alcudia

Puerto pollensa .

Puerto Pollensa, often praised as Mallorca's finest seaside resort, is a safe sailing distance just north of Alcudia. Here you'll find a calm and peaceful atmosphere with a genuine Spanish feel. The restaurants in Puerto Pollensa are also renowned for serving typical Mallorcan cuisine. On the outskirts of the village you can also try your hand at kite and windsurfing, as conditions are favourable there.

Cap de Formentor

Strax northeast of Alcudia lies Cap de Formentor, Mallorca's northernmost point. The place offers a dramatic landscape and when you see the beautiful view of the mountain peaks and the crystal clear sea, you understand why it is visited by thousands of tourists every year. On the way out to the northernmost cape, you will also pass the beautiful Formentor beach where there are buoys right next to which you can moor your boat.

But Cap de Formentor's main attraction is the lighthouse, which stands 210 metres above sea level. There are many great vantage points and on a clear day you can see all the way to Menorca.

Can Picafort

If you choose to sail south instead, you'll reach the holiday resort of Can Picafort after about five nautical miles. The resort is similar to Alcudia in many ways, but is a little quieter than the neighbouring town. Most of the people in Cap Picafort live along the seafront promenade, where there is a pleasant atmosphere and you will also find most of the village's bars and restaurants.

Every Tuesday and Friday there are also markets in Cap Picafort, which tend to be very popular. At the market you can find locally produced food and crafts.

Colonia de Sant Pere

Continue sailing about six nautical miles further south and you'll come to the cosy marina of Colonia de Sant Pere. It's an authentic coastal community where there are no hotels, but the tourists who populate it stay in holiday apartments just outside the village. Apart from the tourist apartments, the houses in the village are inhabited by the locals. But there are also restaurants and eateries in the village, so you don't have to be completely without amenities.

Many people who go to Mallorca expect a party and a fast pace. But Colonia de Sant Pere is for those looking for the exact opposite. The village has an incredibly relaxed atmosphere where time seems to slow down and is a perfect destination for couples and families with children.

How much does it cost to rent a boat in Alcudia?

How much you'll pay to rent a boat in Alcudia depends, of course, on the type of boat you want to take out on your trip. Prices also vary depending on the condition of the boat, the year of manufacture, the model and the owner.

But to rent a sailboat in Alcudia, you can generally expect to pay 250€ per day, a price that is shared between all the participants on the boat. While a smaller motorboat that you can take out for the day will cost an average of 300€ for a full day.

Catamarans are slightly larger boats and therefore cost a little more to rent. For a catamaran, you can therefore expect to pay around 500€ per day. However, you can usually have more people on a catamaran than a regular sailboat, so the price per person still doesn't have to be very high.

Rent a boat with skipper in Alcudia

Want to rent a boat that you don't have the right license for? Or do you feel uncomfortable manoeuvring the boat you're about to go out on? With Click&Boat there's no need to worry as many of our boats can be hired with a professional skipper. The skipper will take full charge of manoeuvring the boat and navigating you through all the rough waters, so you can completely relax and think first and foremost about your surroundings and the beautiful scenery.

The skippers also often come from the local area, which means that in many cases they can share valuable tips, when it comes to hidden swimming spots and genuine restaurants and bars.

Where in Alcudia are Click&Boat's boats located?

As Alcudia is a relatively small town, there is only one marina there, Port d'Alcudia. Here you will also find most of the Click&Boat boats in the area. But we also have some boats in the nearby port of Port de Pollenca .

Which boat should I rent?

Your boating holiday will look very different depending on the type of boat you choose to rent. Therefore, it is important that you rent a boat that suits your needs and the type of trip you want to make.

If you have a more pressured schedule, or just want to catch more destinations than usual, renting a motorboat is recommended. A motorboat will get you out to sea quickly and allow you to put long distances behind you, to see as much as possible.

For serious shoppers, there is also a Wednesday market in Sineu, which is about 30 kilometres from the southern edge of Puerto de Alcudia.

While you cannot compare Puerto de Alcudia with the other yacht charter holiday locations, which are known for their effervescent nightlife, you can still find a decent range of options for night time entertainment. If you leave you charter yacht for the night you can go and enjoy the harbour area which features several cafes and karaoke and music bars that remain open till the wee hours of the morning.

Strand in Port de Alcudia Mallorca

Make a spectacular start to your day with our dolphin watching boat trip in Mallorca. We’ll depart early from Puerto de Alcudia and head out to sea, usually beyond Cape Formentor on the north coast of Mallorca, to find the best spot for dolphin watching.

Onboard our boat, you’ll get to watch the sun rise as we sail towards the dolphins’ natural habitat. This incredible display of nature, combined with the serene sunrise, offers an unforgettable experience. You’ll see these friendly animals swimming and jumping freely in their natural environment.

boat excursion to watch dolphins off the coast of majorca

The tour lasts approximately three hours, during which time you’ll have the chance to watch dolphins in their natural habitat and enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrise at sea. While you take in this unique landscape, a delicious breakfast will be served on board.

The breakfast includes a variety of options to satisfy all tastes: bread, jam, butter, sliced ham, cheese, mini croissants, juice, coffee, milk, and tea. If you require a special diet (gluten-free or due to other allergies), just let us know in advance, and we’ll ensure you have suitable options.

The boat trip is designed to adapt to the sunrise and the best time for dolphin watching. Depending on how the sightings unfold, breakfast will be served either before or after watching the dolphins.

While we almost always see dolphins, we cannot 100% guarantee a sighting as they are wild animals in their natural habitat and their behaviour can be unpredictable.

Don’t miss the chance to experience magic at sea, enjoying the sunrise and dolphin watching in Mallorca.

Join us for an unforgettable morning surrounded by the beauty of the sea and the wonder of dolphins!

Sehr empfehlenswert.

Puerto Alcudia (Port d'Alcudia), Mallorca

Puerto Alcudia (Port d'Alcudia)

The most popular place in Mallorca for family beach holidays

On the north coast of Mallorca lies the Bay of Alcudia, a gorgeous coastline comprising of turquoise shallow waters and long, soft golden sandy beaches. It is therefore not much of a surprise to find Majorca's biggest beach resort here. From Port d'Alcudia, in the west, to Can Picafort 10 km down the coast, you will find a strip of apartment blocks and resort style hotels that offer everything from budget self-catering to luxurious 5-star accommodation.

As the name Port d'Alcudia or Puerto Alcudia suggests, this was once just a port serving the inland town of Alcudia . The area around the old fishing harbour is now the most attractive, an upmarket marina where fishing boats sit along luxury leisure yachts. From here, there is a pedestrianised promenade that runs along the coastline. On this promenade and within the streets behind, you will find a good selection of bars, cafes and restaurants . Apartments and hotels can be found from the shoreline backwards, a very built up area. Although it is prettier down by the waterfront, there is a canal system that leads to an inland lake, creating a system of waterways between the buildings adding a level of charm to this area.

Being a tourist resort, most of the hotels, restaurants and bars are only open in the summer months between April and October. If you are looking for a more cultural experience, head to the ancient town of Alcudia a few kilometres inland - it is a wonderfully restored Medieval town with city walls and Roman ruins which boasts one of the best markets in Mallorca.

Beaches in Playa de Muro

Playa de Alcudia is the longest stretch of beach in Mallorca thanks to its 7km of soft, golden sand. In the summer, you will find row upon row of sun loungers and parasols full of tourists. The stretch of beach closest to the port is known as Ciudad Blanca (White City in English) which is where you will find a full range of facilities including beach bars, restaurants, watersports, public toilets and showers. Some way down the coast, it gets quieter and then changes from being Alcudia Beach to Playa de Muro. Here the beach narrows somewhat and, without as many facilities, it has a more relaxed vibe. Continuing in this direction, you will reach the calmer holiday resort of Can Picafort.

Events in Playa de Muro

Port d’Alcudia hosts a selection of events throughout the year, from traditional Mallorcan fiesta’s through to first class sporting competitions.

Traditional events are big in Mallorca and, for Puerto Alcudia, the Sant Pere Festival in June is one of the biggest and best. It’s a maritime affair, as the locals celebrate the port's patron saint, and entails a week of entertainment, parties, dancing, music and more. The day of Sant Pere (29th June) starts with a sea and land procession with a statue of Saint Peter and finishes with a fireworks display at midnight.

Sporting events are big in this part of Mallorca. Port d'Alcudia is the start and finish line for the iconic cycling event Mallorca 312 which normally takes place in late April or early May and attracts thousands of cycling enthusiasts from across Europe. S'Albufera Natural Park If you want to explore some of the island’s natural beauty, then a visit to the Nature Reserve of S'Albufera is an absolute must. It is the largest wetland area in Mallorca, stretching across 1708 hectares and renowned for birdwatching. Entrance to the park is free.

Dining in Playa de Muro

As one of the islands biggest tourist destinations, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants in the area . You will find every kind of cuisine under the sun including American steakhouses, Chinese, Italian, Indian, and obviously typical Spanish cuisine. Most of the restaurants can be found within the resort and along the promenade. Some of the nicer ones are in the marina but the choice is massive, as is the range in prices.

If you are after a good seafood restaurant on holiday, you will be pleased to know that Port d’Alcudia certainly delivers. Try Miramar or Sirenas for the catch of the day or a heartwarming paella. For traditional style Mallorcan food, veer a little away from the seafront in the direction of Meson los Patos . A restaurant that oozes charm, you will find local delicacies like snails, Mallorcan soup and tumbet on the menu. Alternatively, Bistro del Jardin serves Mediterranean cuisine with lots of local influence. If you are after an extra special culinary adventure, its sister restaurant, the Michelin-starred Jardín , is an absolute must.

Trattoria Italiana S'Espiga is a popular choice amongst families seeking pasta and pizza on holiday, while Sa Roqueta is where you will find high-end Italian cuisine; its outstanding reputation means you must book in advance. Como en Casa is a quirky little eatery serving good home-cooked food at a reasonable price, you will find everything from pizzas and steak through to seafood fare. Further down the coast of Playa de Muro is where you will find Ponderosa Beach . Drawing people from across the island, its Ibiza-esque vibe and top-notch international cuisine is the recipe for an afternoon well spent .
