Appropriately named, the award-winning Excellence V is of distinctly German pedigree and was clearly designed with the charterer in mind. Indeed, from her dedicated cinema to her waterfront gym, all of the space has been optimised in order to create the ultimate luxury charter experience.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

Graced with wide side decks and multiple outdoor lounges, the exterior of superyacht Excellence V is exceptionally well suited for both relaxation and evening strolls against the sunset. Dividing the exterior into 10 dedicated spaces, Reymond Langton Design have provided Excellence V with three fully stocked bars and an impressive seven lounges- an arrangement sure to satisfy guests who look forward to taking in their surroundings whilst underway or at-anchor. Clearly anticipating charterers who enjoy spending their time outdoors, the beach club has been built amidship starboard for more room to relax and socialise in. Indeed, with the tenders being boarded at the yacht’s stern in the usual fashion, guests are able to work out at the waterside gym or sunbathe on the retractable platform in an environment free of toys and other marine gear. Elsewhere outside, a glass fronted spa pool offers an incredible means of cooling off in the sun whilst still having access to unparalleled views. To warm up again, there’s no better way to do so by taking a dip in the Jacuzzi whilst sampling some cocktails from the adjacent bar. Naturally, dining outside has been given considerable attention by Reymond Langton Design, who have included an expandable table on the bridge deck to allow exquisite dishes and refreshing sea breezes to go hand in hand.

INTERIOR DESIGN

With each of the five decks accessible via a sizable glass elevator encased by a spiral staircase, the interior of Excellence V is as replete with impressive features as her exterior. Featuring a foyer, a main salon, and a spacious upper deck lounge, guests are able to socialise and unwind whilst being surrounded by a wealth of diverse artwork and subtle design attributes. The dining area found on the main deck allows for a more formal experience than the al fresco arrangement located on the bridge deck, and the attendant decor is appropriately striking. Complete with comfortable theatre-style seating, the on-board cinema benefits from a few extra cushions to ensure that everyone is suitably relaxed whilst enjoying the latest blockbusters. Privileging layers above all else, Reymond Langton Design have combined a variety of textures over multiple surfaces to produce an interior which is at once engaging and wholly inviting. The woodwork which adorns the social and private spaces is equally outstanding- the combination of macassar ebony, golden burl, fiddleback sycamore, stained anigre, and maple showcases an exceptional array of tones and grains. Whilst the general colour scheme is entirely contemporary, balancing white and black throughout, occasional splashes of royal blue and vermillion reveal a playfulness underlying the interior design. To allow for a more discreet service from her attentive crew, hidden panels have been installed throughout the yacht in order for the team of 15 to navigate the various interior spaces without disrupting the overall aesthetic flow.

ACCOMMODATION

Committed to using only the finest materials and furnishings, the sleeping options on board Excellence V scale the very heights of luxury, affording every guest an exceptional environment to catch up on their rest. Located on the upper deck, the Owner’s deck is a veritable penthouse. Private yet informal, the suite can be accessed via elevator from the beach club, meaning that arrival via tender could not be more stylish. With hallways adorned with eye-catching works of art leading out to a private terrace, the primary charterer is able to take advantage of their own sunpads and spa bath. What’s more Reymond Langton Design have placed low bulkheads to allow for uninterrupted views across the ocean. Located on the port and starboard sides are his and hers bathrooms respectively, each with a private Jacuzzi and a walk through wardrobe uniting the two. The bed itself is situated underneath an expansive sunlight which can be blacked out at a moment’s notice, and a private office is situated adjacent for attending to any necessary business whilst out on the water. A further feature of the Owner’s dec  is the double cabin located opposite which has been designed to accommodate either a nanny or staff. With convenient access to both the main deck below and the bridge deck above, the guest making use of this deck will find themselves effortlessly navigating between social and private areas of Excellence V. The VIP and further four double suites are all located at the forward section of the main deck and feature silk carpeting and large windows which can be turned opaque at the flick of a switch.

LEISURE & ENTERTAINMENT

Replete with space to unwind in, and a number of towable toys and tenders on hand, enjoying yourself on Excellence V is entirely effortless. Uniquely styled and conveniently positioned, the beach club on-board Excellence V includes a shaded bar, a lounging space, and open teak decking extending right up to the water’s edge. Not only does this terrace-like arrangement allow for   water side aerobics , but it also makes arriving on-board Excellence V a memorable experience in itself. As part of the Owner’s deck, a dedicated salon with a generously sized games table is the perfect spot for some after-hours entertaining, whilst the wet bar attached to the lounge on the main deck is fantastic for some midday refreshment. Another standout attraction is unquestionably the sports bar on the bridge deck, an ideal spot for getting a party underway.

Excellence V is a Lloyds classed and MCA compliant luxury charter yacht built by German Abeking & Rasmussen Shipyard and launched in 2012. She was a winner of International Superyacht Society in 2013 as best power yacht from 40m to 65m. In house Naval Architects from Abeking & Rasmussen and Reymond Langton Design Ltd have been responsible for styling of her stunning exterior and the breathtaking interior.

She sleeps up to twelve charter guests in seven staterooms: five double and two twin cabins. Master stateroom is located at upper deck with 180 degree panoramic views. Master stateroom feature king sized bed, his and hers baths both fitted with a Jacuzzi and shower (hers w/ bidet) accessed via walk through wardrobe, private office and lounge. In front of Master stateroom there is a private terrace with outdoor Jacuzzi. At the same level there is one more double cabin located aft from Master stateroom that is convinient for security/nanny and/or children. VIP stateroom is based on the main deck level starboard side and boasts king sized bed, bath equipped with en Jacuzzi tub and shower,a walk-in wardrobe and dressing area. Double stateroom based on the port side forward is equipped with king size bed, a Jacuzzi tub and amidships double stateroom us equipped with king sized bed large en suite with rain shower and hand showers. Twin cabins are fitted with single beds and large en-suites with rain showers.

All staterooms, salons are equipped with state-of-the art audio-visual gear: flatscreen TV’s, central caleidescape system with selection of Music and DVD’s, Blueray players, iPod docking stations, WiFi internet….

Superyacht Excellence V is powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M53R developing 2033 BHP per engine, taking her up to 15.5 Knots with cruising range of 4.400 Nautical Miles @ speed of 12.0 Knots. Her usual cruise speed is 13.0 Knots. She is equipped with Quantum QC 1800 zero speed stabilization system with two lateral fins to make your yacht charter experience perfect. Wide selection of sea toys is available on board this beautiful charter yacht and she is manned by a professional marine crew of fifteenth members.

We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreement that is produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.

It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.

Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.

In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.

Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will be asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.

61 metre Abeking & Rasmussen motor yacht Excellence V sold

The 61 metre motor yacht Excellence V , jointly listed for sale by Burgess and Merle Wood & Associates, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Cecil Wright & Partners .

With exterior styling and interior design by Reymond Langton , Excellence V was built in steel and aluminium by German yard Abeking and Rasmussen to Lloyd's class and delivered in 2012. She has since been carefully maintained with regular upgrades and presents immaculately. In 2017 this included a superstructure repaint, full main engine service and a rebuild of the generators.

Sumptuous accommodation is for up to 14 guests in seven cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite, three doubles and two twins, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities.

An asymmetrical saloon with a bar on the starboard side and a cool wood floor, leather walls, crocodile tabletops and velvet chairs forms the transition from the aft arrivals deck to the interior. Forward of this is the dining area, set apart by its leather flooring, Macassar table and black emperador marble and white onyx countertops. This splash of drama sets the stage for the dramatic foyer, with its gleaming glass lift, marble floors and a custom stair surround.

Other key features include a central elevator servicing all five decks, encircled by a dramatic central staircase, plus a dedicated cinema, a waterfront gym, an oversized beach club, a full owner's deck and multiple outdoor lounge areas with a spa pool.

Twin 2,038hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 13 knots, topping out at 16 knots.

Excellence V was asking €69,500,000 and will now be renamed Arience.
