الدوحة، قطر، 5 مارس 2024 : تستعد الدوحة لتسليط الضوء على أسلوب الحياة الفاخر في مجال اليخوت ضمن معرض قطر للقوارب المزمع عقده من 6 إلى 9 نوفمبر 2024. يفتخر ميناء الدوحة القديم وشركة خدمات الخليج البحرية بالإعلان عن شراكتهما التعاونية لاستضافة هذا الحدث التاريخي في مبادرة لتوحيد العالم في قلب دولة قطر. يضمّ هذا الحدث المرموق علامات تجارية وأحواض وشركات محلية وإقليمية ودولية لبناء السفن، كما يستقطب أصحاب القوارب وهواة القطاع البحري علي المستوى المحلي والدولي، مما يسلّط الضوء على ذروة الابتكار والتألق في هذا القطاع البحري. وكونه جزء لا يتجزأ من رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، يهدف معرض قطر للقوارب إلى تعزيز النمو الاقتصادي ودعم السياحة من خلال تقديم أفضل الابتكارات البحرية والفعاليات الترفيهية.
قدّم حفل الافتتاح الرسمي الذي أقيم في 5 مارس لمحة عن فخامة معرض قطر للقوارب المقبل واستقطب مشاركين دوليين وإقليميين، وممثلين من وسائل الإعلام، وشخصيات بارزة من جميع أنحاء العالم، ممّا يزيد من الترقب لهذا الحدث الواعد بصفته أكثر عروض القوارب تميّزًا في تاريخ قطر.
انطلق الحدث بكلمة افتتاحية للسيّد محمد الملا الذي قام بعرض فيديو افتتاحي أبهر الحضور وأضفى أجواء استثنائية في الحفل. وتلى ذلك عرض تقديمي خاص حول معرض قطر للقوارب من تقديم السيّد محمد العطوان والسيّد ابراهيم فرحات والذي شكل تمهيدًا لسلسلة من الحلقات النقاشية الفاعلة. وشهدت حلقة النقاش الأولى التي حملت عنوان “لمحة عامة عن قطاع اليخوت في الشرق الأوسط”، مشاركة كبار روّاد القطاع البحري بمن فيهم السيّد سليم تيسون، المدير الإداري لشركة Yachts1، والسيّد نبيل الجمّال، مدير منطقة الشرق الأوسط في شركة بينيتي، والسيّد فاروق النفزي، الرئيس التنفيذي للتسويق في فيدشيب، والسيّد باريس بالوميز، مدير تسويق مجموعة أوسيكانو، ممّا يسلّط الضوء على القيم التعاونية التي تساهم في ضمان نجاح هذا الحدث. وتلتها حلقة نقاشية أخرى بعنوان “لمحة عامة عن قطاع اليخوت في دولة قطر” بمشاركة السيّد نصر عيسى النصر، مدير تطوير الاستثمارات في هيئة المناطق الحرة في قطر، والسيّد بدر المحمود، مدير تطوير الأعمال والاستراتيجية في ميناء الدوحة القديم، والسيّد ريجو جورج، مدير مجموعة المعارض والفعاليات في خدمات الخليج البحرية. وتناولت هذه الحلقة النقاشية الأهمية الاستراتيجية لمعرض قطر للقوارب مبيّنةً مدى ازدياد أهمية دولة قطر كمركز للاستثمار البحري ومبرزةً المكانة المرموقة لهذه الدولة في القطاع البحري على الصعيد العالمي.
يعتزّ معرض قطر للقوارب 2024 بالدعم الذي تقدّمه له وزارة المواصلات كشريكٍ استراتيجي، وقطر للسياحة كشريك الوجهة، وقنوات الكأس كشريك إعلامي، ومواني قطر كراعٍ ذهبي، وكيو تيرمينالز بصفته راعٍٍ فضي.
من المتوقع أن يستقبل معرض قطر للقوارب 2024 أكثر من 20.000 زائر و 495 مشاركًا بعلامات تجارية متنوّعة، وسيضمّ هذا الحدث الاستثنائي 95 قاربًا وزورقًا على اليابسة وفي المياه لا ضمن فعاليات غير مسبوقة، تحتفي بالقطاع البحري ورفاهيّته في الدوحة. ويقدم هذا العرض مجموعة رائعة من العلامات التجارية لليخوت وأحواض بناء السفن المشهورة عالميًا، والتي تعرض أحدثَ الخدمات والاكسسوارات البحرية. وبالإضافة إلى السفن واليخوت، سيكتشف الحاضرون مزيجًا مُختارًا من العلامات التجارية لأسلوب الحياة المقترن بعالم اليخوت والرياضات المائية وفرص البيع بالتجزئة في القطاع البحري. وعلاوة على ذلك، يستقطب هذا الحدث المشاركين ليغمرهم بروعة خدمات الأطعمة والترفيه المتنوعة والأنشطة المتميزة المصممة لإضفاء أجواء احتفالية على هذا الحدث.

The sixth edition of the Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS) will start its voyage from March 12 at 25–29, La Croisette, Porto Arabia, The Pearl-Qatar. To be held under the auspices of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani, the five-day event will run until March 16.

The event will play host to top quality and art of craftsmanship boats from many countries, including Germany, Italy, Pakistan and Turkey and will introduce the region’s boat enthusiasts to the latest technological advancements. This year, the show expects to attract more than 30 impressive motorboats, luxury yachts and unique dhows, which will be displayed both on land and water and be complemented by exhibitor chalets, representing many of the top names in the maritime industry, both local and international, along the marina walkway.
A press conference to announce the event was attended by Khalid Issa al Mannai, chairman of Al Mannai Plus Events, the organising company of QIBS 2019, Loay Dalis, Al Mannai Plus Events CEO, Lieutenant Fahad Abdul Aziz al Mislimani from General Directorate of Coast and Borders Security, Sarah Teubner from MORSA ITC, and Captain Mohamed Ali Abdul Rahim from QIG Marine. Speaking on the occasion, Mannai said, ““This year, we are celebrating the 6th edition of the QIBS which has its deep passion to be a strong arm promoting and supporting the tourism and exhibitions industry in Qatar.”
He said the exhibitions have witnessed deals worth tens of millions of Qatari riyals and received thousands of visitors from Qatar and abroad. The Qatar boat exhibition, he said, has encouraged and attracted private sector to investment in marine industry. On his part, Dalis said, “Today, it is exactly one year and nine months that our wonderful country, its people and residents have been passing through unjust land, air space and trade blockade imposed by our neighbours. However, we are fortunate that we are blessed with the wise and strong leadership, which has given us - the business community - confidence and all support to stand on our feet and not get discouraged by any outside threats and negative attitudes of others.”
He added, “I believe that with the new facilities to the investors in recently established Qatar Free Zones Authority by the government, we expect to attract local and foreign investors towards marine industry and services relating to it.”

Ever-growing in popularity, the Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS) will be returning in March for five days of yacht showcases and marine-related exhibits.
An important event for the Middle East’s burgeoning boating industry, QIBS is an excellent opportunity for networking within the maritime sector.
Show-goers are able to meet around 5,000 fellow attendees, including fellow boating enthusiasts, industry professionals and yachting manufacturers from across the globe.
Boats are split between the water and an on-land exhibition area, alongside around 70 exhibitors showing off their products and services.
Held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, the yachting meet is an ideal opportunity to discover the latest technological innovations. It has also contributed hugely to Qatar’s tourism and exhibition industry over the years.

Old Doha Port and Gulf Marine Services LLC proudly announced a collaboration to host this landmark event, promising to unite the world in the heart of Qatar. The launch event, which took place on March 5th, offered a sneak peek into the grandeur and scale of the upcoming Qatar Boat Show, attracting international and regional exhibitors, media representatives, and prominent figures from across the globe to heighten anticipation for what promises to be the most impressive boat show in Qatar’s history.
The event commenced with an opening speech by Mohammad Al Mulla, who also had the honor of revealing the captivating opening video, setting an exhilarating tone for the attendees. This was followed by a special Qatar Boat Show Presentation delivered by Mohamed Al-Atwaan and Ibrahim Farhat, further setting the stage for a series of engaging discussions. The first panel discussion, titled ‘Middle East Yachting Overview,’ saw the participation of key industry leaders including Salim Tayssoun, Managing Director of Yachts1; Nabil El Jammal, Middle East Manager at Benetti; Farouk Nefzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Feadship; and Paris Baloumis, Group Marketing Director at Oceanco, underscoring the collaborative spirit that is a driving force behind the event’s success.
