'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' 's Gary Accuses Daisy of 'Spitefully Hooking Up' with Newly Single Colin in Season 4

"Everything is my fault. The guests aren't happy, it's my fault. I can't win. I'm constantly losing," Daisy Kelliher says in PEOPLE's exclusive trailer premiere for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4

season 4 below deck yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae are making waves in season 4!

PEOPLE can exclusively premiere the trailer for the Bravo show 's latest season as Parsifal III 's Chief Stew and Chief Engineer return to navigate the waters near Sardinia, Italy, alongside Captain Glenn Shephard, First Mate Gary King and fresh batch of yachties.

"I've been with Parsifal for 13 years," Captain Glenn says at the start of the preview. "She had a lot of problems, but she's never let me down."

That is, until the yacht starts heeling — hard .

Sailing Yacht has been known for clanging pots and sliding utensils in its galley over the years, but season 4's tilt-fest takes things to a new level, with falling crew members, portholes that look like they're in a whirlpool swirl and one guest exclaiming, "Who needs a roller coaster? Holy cow!"

Still, Captain Glenn remains optimistic: "It looks like we got a good group of people here. I'm looking forward to a really good season."

Beyond the technical troubles (including a dud engine echoing season 2's bow thruster debacle ), it would seem the choppier waters will come in the form of the crew's personal entanglements and partying ways.

Like every year, Gary returns with a renewed promise to stay out of the drama and drunken carousing. "My intention is not to come in and hook up with a chick," he says. "I'm here to make money and have a good time and give guests good experiences."

But as sure as the tides ebb and flow, Gary — whose last season saw him hooking up with every available woman on the crew, including one surprisingly steamy hot tub makeout session with Daisy — is soon enough taking shots and preserving his reputation as Parsifal 's resident kissing bandit.

The carousing spirit is shared by many on on board, with new deckhand Alex Propson proclaiming this will be his "hot boy European summer," and steward Madison "Mads" Herrera saying, "I wouldn't be opposed to screwing the crew provided they know how to screw."

Most unexpectedly, though, Gary's longtime wingman Colin is finally stretching his own wings this season in his first filmed charter season without a girlfriend back on land.

"Who do you have your eye on, Colin? You're a single man," Gary asks innocently before the trailer cuts a sizzling shot of the Daisy and Colin kissing on one of the boat's staircases, then later in a crew bunk (hot tubs are so 2022).

As Colin and Daisy grow closer than ever, Gary becomes jealous and seems to miss the chase of being in a will-they-won't-they relationship with Daisy.

Though he assures Colin he likes Daisy "as a friend," he doesn't miss the opportunity to pour cold water on her connection with Colin.

"You know you like me deep down," he says, "and I feel you're hooking up to get back at me — spitefully hooking up."

As the drama and pressure escalate, Daisy says through tears: "Everything is my fault. The guests aren't happy, it's my fault. I can't win. I'm constantly losing."

She'd said earlier in the trailer that she needed to "to work on my stress levels," but it doesn't seem like that's on the horizon for this Sailing Yacht .

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 4: Midseason Trailer Includes Triple Love Triangle Drama (Exclusive)

Colin Macrae and Gary King chat aboard Parsifal III while filming Bravo's Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Gary King, Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae's love triangle makes waves in ET's exclusive first look at the second half of season 4.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht  is headed into choppy waters, at least the proverbial kind, as the crew of Parsifal III sails into the second half of season 4.

The much talked-about love triangle between chief stewardess Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King makes the most waves in ET's exclusive sneak peek at what's still to come, as Daisy confronts Gary over his unwarranted jealousy toward her budding romance with Colin. That's when Gary makes a major confession, sharing that he and Daisy once had sex and it was "f**king amazing." It's info Daisy clearly didn't want out in the world, the aftershocks of which jeopardize her future with Colin, who becomes upset over the revelation.

"You're both f**king with my head!" Daisy exclaims at one point, as she's forced to navigate everyone's emotions.

"He had two seasons to try and pursue me, he chose not to," Daisy told ET of Gary's jealousy ahead of the season. "If I'm dating you for three years and you cheat on me, yeah, I’m gonna to sleep with your best friend or your brother, probably. Like, I've done it in the past, I'm probably gonna do it again. But me and Gary were never anything, you know? I'm not quite sure what he thought that I was trying to gain from that. We were never in a relationship."

"I felt like there was a bit of an ego, you know? His ego was hurt," she said. "I think that was more of it than he actually wanted to be with me. But yeah, it was kind of surprising to hear. It was weird when I was like, 'You had two years to tell me you liked me, and now you're choosing to tell me?'"

Watch the full first look here:

Gary finds himself locked in a second love triangle of sorts, too, this one with stewardess Mads Herrera and deckhand Alex Propson. He's once again jealous Mads is showing interest in someone else. Then, there's an apparent  third  triangle... as Alex pursues Daisy's sister, Bonnie, during a visit!

"I was hoping the crew wouldn't be dumb enough to hook up with their chief stew's sister," Daisy laments in the trailer, as Mads pushes her ear up against a cabin door to eavesdrop on Bonnie's hookup, seemingly with Alex or Gary.

The charter guests bring their own romantic entanglements aboard, too, with a throuple causing so much drama that Captain Glenn Shephard's forced to warn them about being removed from the boat! Oh, and throw in some other crying vacationers and a near-crash or two into the dock for good measure.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht  airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, streaming next day on Peacock, and starting on June 12, fans can tune in for back-to-back episodes!

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4: who's who in the new season

Meet the familiar and new faces aboard the Parsifal III this season.

The Parsifal III on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4

It's time to set sail once again with Captain Glenn and the crew of the Parsifal III. Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back for season 4, setting sail from the stunning coves and marinas as Sardinia, Italy.

There are plenty of familiar faces, including Captain Glenn, Daisy Kelliher, Gary King and Colin Macrae. The rest of the crew is made up of newcomers to the show and the franchise, and time will only tell whether they have what it takes to sail the seas aboard the Parsifal III.

Thanks to Bravo, we have biographies for the returning and new members of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4.

Captain Glenn Shephard

Captain Glenn returns for his fourth season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht .

"Originally from Montreal, Capt. Glenn’s life has always been dictated by the need to see the world. Early on in his travels, he was invited onboard a 50-foot classic sailboat to work as a deckhand and was immediately hooked and has never looked back. With over 22 years in the industry and 13 years as the Captain on Parsifal III, Glenn has hosted hundreds of high-end guests over many busy charter seasons. Glenn knows how to keep his cool while catering to the uber elite. This laid-back Captain is calm until his limits are pushed. Don’t mess with Capt. Glenn!"

Daisy Kelliher, Chief Stewardess

"Returning chief stew Daisy Kelliher is considered a yachting legacy. Her grandfather was an Olympic sailor for Ireland in 1964, and her parents – and many aunts and uncles – were yachties. Daisy has a lot to live up to when she returns to Parsifal III after a successful last two seasons and can always be counted on to give you a piece of her mind and let her hair down to have a good time."

Gary King, First Mate

"Having captained smaller boats and run the deck on several busy super yachts, Gary’s 13 years of experience is apparent in the way he runs his deck team. On one hand, he rules his department with an iron fist but on the other hand, he is never the type to leave a party first. He brims with mischievous charm but his flirtation gets him in hot water on and off deck."

Colin Macrae, Chief Engineer

Longtime sailor Colin MacRae worked as a Chief Engineer on super yachts for 15 years before joining Parsifal III for his third season. With a big heart and an impish smile, Colin is more than happy to lend a hand anywhere that he might be needed. However, when Colin’s kindness gets mistaken for weakness, fireworks fly.

Chef Ileisha Dell

Ched Ileisha Dell joins the Parsifal III for her first season.

"With over 17 years of culinary experience, Chef Ileisha has been living her dream as a yacht chef since 2014, merging her passion of cooking, traveling the world and working and living on the water. Originally from a small beach town on the east coast of Australia, she worked her way into some of Sydney’s most prestigious kitchens as a pastry chef. Chef Ileisha has taken many leaps in her career, working as a prep chef for Matt Moran for his cooking show, working as a private chef for one of Sydney’s most famous households and accompanying another family on their yachts across the Mediterranean for two years. To stay in tune with her creativity, Chef Ileisha also loves photography, film, interior design, yoga and scouting for vintage glassware."

Mads Herrera, Stewardess

"Born and raised in South Florida, Mads spent much of her time in the water and on yachts, so it was only natural she ended up in the maritime industry. With two years of experience, Mads has worked on day charters and boat deliveries and is eager for the new challenges of working on a charter yacht. A true adventurer, Mads lives life in the fast line traveling the world, riding dirt bikes and sky diving."

Alex Propson, Deckhand

"Originally from Wisconsin, Alex got his jumpstart in yachting while networking in Los Angeles. He moved to South Florida and kept up his career as a deckhand since achieving his captain’s license. The career change was influenced by the pandemic after spending eight years in sales. You can always find Alex staying active whether practicing yoga, playing basketball or diving in top destinations around the world."

Chase Lemacks, Deckhand

"A southern gentleman from South Carolina, Chase knows how to turn on the charm for the demanding guests this season. Chase originally joined the world of yachting with the dream of one day sailing around the world running charters on a sailboat of his own. Having solely worked on large motor yachts since 2019, it was an exciting challenge and welcome change of pace to come on board a sailing vessel. When he’s not on deck, he loves to get his hands dirty backpacking, hunting and fixing up old homes."

Lucy Edmonds, Stewardess

"Originally from Wales, Lucy shines with a bubbly personality and enthusiasm that makes her the perfect fit for the interior team. After feeling stuck at university during the pandemic, Lucy, who has a wide breadth of experience in the hospitality world, set sail and joined the yachting industry. Before getting her start in the Mediterranean, she worked at high-end restaurants and became a club VIP manager at only 19 years old. When she’s not chartering across the globe, Lucy enjoys a more laid-back lifestyle of playing sports and watching rugby."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo.

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Season 4: Get the Details on the Cast, Premiere Date, Location and More

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Setting sail once again! Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back for a fourth season. Keep reading for details on the Bravo hit's premiere date, cast, location and more .

When Does 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 4 Premiere?

The new season kicks off on Monday, April 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes stream the following day on Peacock. It comes after Below Deck wraps up season 10 and has its reunion episode on Monday, March 27.

What Cast Members Are Returning to 'Below Deck Sailing' Yacht Season 4?

Captain Glenn Shephard  will once again skipper Parsifal III and he will have his dream team back when it comes to the head of departments. Chief Stew  Daily Kelliher  returns for her third season overseeing the interior, while  Gary King  is back for his third season in charge of the deck crew. He was promoted from bosun to first mate in season 3, after going to work for Glenn full-time aboard  Parsifal III  even when the show isn't filming.

Daisy and Gary together again will give fans a chance to see if they finally decide to pursue a romance. The pair had a passionate albeit drunken make out session in a hot tub in season 3, and notorious ladies' man Gary kept trying to kindle something more with Daisy, who rebuffed a boatmance and wanted to remain good friends.

Colin MacRae  returns once again as the boat's chief engineer and Gary's best pal. The only department head to feature a new cast member will be in the galley. Which leads us to....

Who Are the New Cast Members on 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 4?

Since season 3's beloved chef  Marco Spaziani  is now on dry land after opening his own restaurant in Los Angeles, new chef  Ileisha Dell  will be whipping up the 5-star cuisine that is expected by guests aboard the super-yacht. The Byron Bay, Australia-based cook says she's a "perfectionist when it comes to food," in the season's teaser trailer.

But things don't go so smoothly for the new galley chief. While her "cooking impresses the guests, her indecisiveness and co-dependency lead to time-management issues between courses, which causes her to self-destruct," according to Bravo's press release.

Daisy's new stews include  Lucy Edmunds  and  Mads Herrera , while Gary also has a new team, with deckhands  Chase Lemacks  and  Alex Propson  coming aboard. Alex should prove to be an experienced addition as he's a licensed small boat captain .

Hunky, long-haired Alex has already impressed one Bravolebrity before Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's premiere. He has been seen in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and rumored to be part of the current cast filming Winter House . When a Bravo fan page shared several photos of gorgeous Alex, including a shirtless snap, Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney drooled, "Excuse me?!?!” in the comments. In a fun twist, the new season of Winter House features Katie's ex-husband and VPR costar, Tom Schwartz .

Where Is Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Set?

Guests will be treated to one of the best locations in the Mediterranean , as the season will take place in Sardinia, the largest island off the coast of Italy.

EXCLUSIVE: First Look Inside Superyacht VALOUR - Below Deck Season 4 Yacht

By Oliver Pearson   1 April 2016

In a recent exclusive, we revealed that the name of the Below Deck Season 4 yacht will be superyacht VALOUR. Now, in a further exclusive, we can unveil her real name, and show some previously unseen photographs of her interior.

Following Bravo TV's tradition of naming yachts after 'Homeric' Greek mythology, the forthcoming Below Deck Season 4 superyacht VALOUR is in actual fact the 47m/154ft motor yacht BG .

A sophisticated and modern motor yacht  built by the prestigious Dutch shipyard  Feadship , she possess a quality which is the yachting equivalent of a Rolls Royce. Bringing together the very best in luxury amenities in a highly styled environment, her interior decor is entirely contemporary and her outdoor areas are designed to keep up with the very best superyachts.

Her refit in 2015 was coordinated by Dee Dee Taylor Eustace, the celebrity architect and interior designer who established Taylor Hannah Architect Inc. With considerable experience in high-end residential interior design, and an extensive knowledge of the marine lifestyle, her signature use of colour and space makes BG every inch the ideal superyacht.

With this in mind, it’s no surprise that the yacht was chosen for Below Deck season 4. Indeed, it offers a suitably glamorous setting for the latest crew to treat their guests in, and showcases perfectly why private yacht charter is the most exclusive and desirable vacation choice. As we revealed in an earlier article, Below Deck Season 4 was shot around the stunning waters of the British Virgin Isles .

season 4 below deck yacht

Like all of the other yachts featured on Below Deck, the yacht in season 4 is available to rent for private luxury yacht charter vacations

Unlike the clasically themed interior of the 46m/150ft motor yacht Ionian Princess  featured in the Below Deck spin-off  Below Deck Mediterranean , motor yacht BG exudes a modern charm, and employs an incredibly bright colour scheme to complement the soft and comfortable furnishings.

Working to create a ‘Hampton Beach House’ theme, the work Dee Dee Eustace carried out in the interior utilises designer fabrics and timeless furnishings to complement the expertly refined layout.

Indeed, her long main salon features an impressive symmetrical arrangement which nicely emphasises the space inside, and will certainly provide the perfect space for the amplified drama viewers have come to expect from the franchise.

Adjacent to the main salon, the dining room features an appropriately styled patina and rosewood table to ensure all guests enjoy their meals, and features a custom built wine wardrobe capable of storing up to 120 bottles of wine.

The master suite on the main deck has received the same refreshing treatment, with a comfortable seating area and a hugely voluminous en-suite feeling more like a penthouse apartment than simply a bedroom.

Each of her 5 other guest suites are similarly well designed and provide exceptional accommodation for up to 12 guests- a perfect arrangement for both families and small parties.

Inflatable slide attached to superyacht BG

The exterior spaces of luxury yacht BG are just as impressive- here, guests are able to take advantage of expansive sunpads and a sizeable table for some outstanding al fresco dining.

Sure to keep the cast of Below Deck Season 4 ultra-busy is the Jacuzzi located on the upper deck. Perfectly situated for taking in oceanic views whilst enjoying a soak, the guests will certainly be after a crew capable of bringing out drinks and fresh towels at a moment’s notice.

Furthermore, the spacious dining and entertaining area on the bridge deck aft boasts a large projector screen for guests to enjoy a movie after dark.

Steps on both the port and starboard side of the aft deck provide convenient access to the full beam swim platform which is nicely extended for greater access to the water. From this platform guests are able to effortlessly board tenders, begin playing with her catalogue of towable water toys, or simply dive into the ocean to cool off.

At the Palm Beach Boat Show this year, YachtCharterFleet boarded superyacht BG following the filming of Below Deck Season 4, and will be releasing a full review shortly.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season-Premiere Recap: Dream Team

Below deck sailing yacht.

season 4 below deck yacht

After decent seasons of  Below Deck ,  Mediterranean , and  Adventure , I’m beyond elated to have the superior  BD  spinoff,  Sailing Yacht , back in my life. In a sea of constantly fluctuating casts in the  BD  universe,  Sailing Yacht  has been a delightful constant, featuring what has become my absolute favorite group of wild yachties. The core four (Captain Glenn, chief stew Daisy, first mate Gary, and engineer Colin) have all returned for another season aboard the beloved  Parsifal III  as they sail around Sardinia, Italy. Colin puts it best: “ Parsifal  is always so entertaining. Get the popcorn out again!”

Speaking of the hottest man on the ship, Colin announces in a confessional that he is a “free man” with “nothing tying him down” anymore. After spending most of his time on the series in a relationship, Colin is now single. He seems eager to finally get a taste of the drama he has largely kept a distance from, and I’m incredibly excited to see how it’ll play out. Meanwhile, Daisy contemplates her life and tells us that she expected to be married with two kids at this point but is instead “still serving a bunch of assholes.” She’s in her Hannah Ferrier era! Regardless, she’s still looking forward to being back on  Parsifal . “I hope to bring the same motto I bring every season: My way is best,” she says with a smile. Oh, how I’ve missed her!

Before diving into this premiere’s events, let’s discuss the fresh faces rounding out the team. In the interior, Lucy says she is a very “unlucky” and “clumsy” person, as seen in a montage of various times she accidentally hurts herself on the boat. Daisy’s other stew is Madison, who confesses that she “wouldn’t be opposed to screwing the crew” and doesn’t have “high standards,” meaning there’s a 110 percent chance of her hooking up with Gary. Mads also tells us that despite people assuming she’s a bitch based on her looks (blonde), she’s actually a “ray of fucking sunshine.” Her delivery of this, plus her later comment about how it’s fine to be mean as long as it comes across as a joke, fails to convince me.

On deck, we have Chase, who hails from South Carolina and describes himself as being “extra,” which I’m hoping isn’t code for being a dick. The season teaser shows some tension between him and Gary, so I feel he might not make it to the end. But I hope my assumptions are proven wrong. There’s also deckhand Alex, who captains a boat in Miami, is very hot (bless Bravo for including a slideshow of additional photographic evidence), and says he is “socially charged” and “empathetic.”

Finding and being able to hold onto a fantastic chef has been a tough task to accomplish throughout  BD ’s history. After last season’s phenomenal chef Marcos, it has some massive shoes to fill. So far, Australian chef Ileisha, a self-described “perfectionist” with 16 years of experience, has impressed in the galley. Overall, I really like this ensemble so far. They seem to know what they’re doing and haven’t pissed anyone off yet, which might be a  Below Deck  first.

As the crew settles in, Captain Glenn reveals that COVID-19 continues to strike as Gary has tested positive and will tragically end up missing the charter. In the meantime, Colin is tasked with filling in as chief officer to help Alex and Chase get acquainted with the  Parsifal . In order to spare herself from repeating last year’s drama, Daisy informs Lucy and Mads that it’s best if they’re both Junior stews. It’s a fantastic idea, but I’m hoping for some stew drama anyway.

As provisions come in and the crew gets the boat prepped for charter, Colin notices something wrong with the engine because it would be  too easy  for things to go smoothly for once. The first charter sets the tone for the season, and it has already gone sideways merely hours into the first day. Despite their best efforts, Captain Glenn and Colin determine that the boat won’t be able to leave the dock, so the pressure falls onto Daisy and the interior to give the guests an experience that isn’t entirely shitty. And to make matters worse, the next day, Colin discovers a malfunction in the aftercooler that caused water to enter the engine.

At the preference sheet meeting, we meet our first guests: The primary is Stephanie Seutter, a Texan working in sales who is having a girl’s trip with seven of her friends. Given the myriad of problems the crew already has to deal with, I’m glad they don’t also have to deal with a lengthy list of restrictions and demands. They ask for a local Sardinian dinner followed by an EDM party for the first night. On the second day, they want to spend time on the beach and have a steak and seafood dinner with truffles on everything, which rightfully gets a disgusted reaction from Daisy.

Daisy is already impressed with her stews for taking the initiative, and I am too. They know how to get shit done, so here’s hoping they don’t start slacking. “Confident stews, my dream has come true!” she exclaims. After everyone finishes working, they gather on deck to drink beer and rest up. Chase asks if anyone is missing someone from home, to which Daisy responds, “I haven’t missed someone since 1999.” The discussion naturally leads to relationship statuses, where we learn that everyone is single — a win for us because it means chaos will ensue — save for Ileisha, who recently rekindled her romance with an ex-boyfriend from four years prior. Before heading to bed, the boys check in on Colin in the engine room to help out. Dudes rock!

In the crew mess the next morning, Daisy mentions how Gary usually got his coffee, and Ileisha teases her by saying, “you miss him!” Daisy thinks it feels weird for him not to be there, and I agree. Gary’s absence has caused a vibe shift on the boat. Thirty minutes before the charter, the crew changes into their uniforms and prepares to head out on deck for greetings. As the guests strut down the dock, Ileisha is still getting ready in her cabin as Daisy rushes down to inform her to hurry. This sequence had me stressed!! Earlier, the two had a chat about the importance of communication and teamwork, so I hope her poor time management isn’t an issue.

Since the guests are stuck at the dock, Daisy plans to “keep their glasses topped up, their stomachs full, and their memories short.” Words to live by! After welcoming Stephanie & Co., Captain Glenn breaks the bad news but tries to soften the blow by assuring them that other activities are available. They handle it well — it’s not like they have a choice — but their annoyance grows more apparent as they get settled on the boat and enjoy espresso martinis and Ileisha’s mac-and-cheese truffle arancini balls and rib-eye with horseradish-cream canapés.

Captain Glenn suggests that the guests go out on the tender, and they agree because it’s really the only thing to do. Daisy recommends that Alex accompany them because he’s “hot and the guests will love that eye candy.” So true, Daisy. Alex is excited since “day charters with drunk guests is [his] specialty,” adding that his approach is to pump them “full of Tito’s.” Keeping the drinks flowing does the job because they’re already hammered by the time they make it onto the tender. Their afternoon playing around on the water toys and getting drunk is a success. I initially assumed that the guests would be high-maintenance, but so far, they’ve been quite fun and low-key.

After the crew changes into their blacks for the evening, Alex, Chase, and Lucy decorate the flybridge with balloons and glow sticks for what Lucy calls a “tacky” EDM party. True, but there are far worse themes they could have requested. Chase says the half-assed decor “looks like a seven-year-old’s birthday party,” which I imagine would look significantly better. Nothing about this set-up screams EDM, but the guests have fun, and I suppose that’s what matters most.

For dinner, Ileisha presents a family-style feast of fresh local oysters, shrimp, and lobster ravioli with truffle, asparagus with Parmesan, and beef filet with roasted garlic purée. The guests think the food is a “home run,” and they’re so wasted that one guest named Mary Lynn falls out of her chair twice. After the guests change into their party attire and the crew puts on paint and face jewels, they make their way up to the party, where Chase gives one guest a lap dance and Mary Lynn paints Alex’s knee to prove to her sister that she is artistic. Anything for the tip, right?

As if they hadn’t just spent the previous day drinking nonstop, the guests are up early the next morning asking Daisy for some mimosas. “I just need an IV of Champagne,” a guest named Karen says. Meanwhile, Colin has spent the entire charter stuck in the engine room, and because the problems have escalated beyond his ability to fix them alone, Captain Glenn brings in more engineers to check it out.

The episode ends with the reveal that it will take a whopping 15 days to fix the engine, but as Captain Glenn says at the start of the episode,  Parsifal  “has never let me down.” The season preview promises us several guest injuries, lots of crew makeout sessions, another intense engine issue, and — most importantly — a Daisy/Gary/Colin love triangle. Based on the hype the producers are putting on this dynamic, I have severely high expectations.

The Best Seasons in the Below Deck Franchise

By Amy DeVore

season 4 below deck yacht

If you’ve never watched the Below Deck series on Bravo , what are you even doing with your life? I mean, you’re probably out there working hard, or just like, living your life, being a solid human. Even still, if you haven’t checked out Below Deck, Below Deck Mediterranean , Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Below Deck Down Under , or even that one season of Below Deck Adventure , then just know one thing; you’re missing out. No but really, you are.

That said, sometime in your near future, you might just find yourself in need of a great show to binge. If so, you should consider dipping your toes into this ever-expanding nautical franchise , because it’s a good one. To make sure that you’re not wasting your time, we’ll even help you out a bit. Start with these three seasons of BD first, as they’re each truly the best of the best that this franchise has to offer.

Below Deck Season 3

The casting department for BD Season 3 deserves a raise. To start, Chef Leon Walker loathed Chief Stew Kate Chastain . When he wasn’t making beef cheeks, he was throwing her under the bus to Captain Lee Rosbach . After a kitchen fire, Leon left the boat, which saddened his eccentric sidekick , stewardess Rocky Dakota .

In defense of her fired pal, Rocky stripped down and jumped overboard, only to be returned by a neighboring tender. In other scenes, this stew was often in the laundry room, hooking up with the “taken” Eddie Lucas . Insert production, who brilliantly added in a running gag of soap churning in a washing machine. At this early-on point, camera placements were limited, but their trysts changed this, and now, cameras are everywhere onboard.

Additionally, many fun scenes transpired between Amy Johnson , Connie Arias , Rocky, and Kate, especially when whipped-cream was involved. Likewise, Rocky’s grenadine oysters and salads with Oreo sprinkles will leave you in stitches. Or vomiting, like one of the guests did after eating this meal. Luckily, Chef Ben Robinson boarded, sending Rocky back to the laundry room to continue singing about “ironing the Captain’s shorts.”

This season also had some negative drama. When Eddie and Rocky’s affair came out, Eddie chose denial, leaving Rocky to feel alone, which sucked. Luckily, the viewers put Eddie in the hot seat, and he stepped away from this series for several seasons. Overall, Below Deck Season 3 is one of the best around, and if you are anything like us, you’ll watch it on repeat.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 was a bust. Luckily, BDSY Season 2 saved this spin-off, and we’re thankful, because it’s now one of our favorites . However, due to COVID restrictions, both Seasons 2 and 3 lacked various elements, so this series didn’t really hit its full stride until Season 4 . To note, in all three of these later seasons, the viewers are (mostly) gifted with this series three staple cast members, Daisy Kelliher , Gary King , and Colin MacRae .

Out of them all, Season 4 is our favorite, as it’s a whirlwind, with a side of fun. To recap, Colin was single for the first time ever, and he and Daisy started up a boatmance. Later on, we learned that they had actually hooked up prior to filming. Shockingly, so had Daisy and Gary.

Outside of this drama, Season 4 had amazing interior and exterior departments. You’ll love watching these crew members bond, as each were kind and lovable, while also highly skilled in their various roles. Chef Ileisha Dell is the calmest chef in this entire franchise, and she’s also a former circus contortionist, which is fun. Furthermore, Alex Propson gave us the now infamous scene of his drunkenly placed water bottle on Captain Glenn Shephard ’s forehead, which will make you laugh, unless you hate humor.

To note, Gary’s playboy ways, which allegedly go far beyond flirtations, have since made headlines. Therefore, Season 5 is now hanging in the balance, and only time will tell how this spin-off fares. Even still, after watching Below Deck Season 3, we recommend that you watch the next greatest thing, which is Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4. Overall, you’ll love this cast, mostly, and that’s a rare thing to be said for this franchise.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 had a mostly fun, kind cast. In turn, the interior department saw minimal drama unfolding. Instead, Hannah Ferrier , Aesha Scott , and Anastasia Surmava developed a tight friendship. These girls are still close today.

Also, a sweet boatmance formed between the equally hysterical Jack Stirrup and Aesha. In addition, a series favorite returned in Colin Macy-O’Toole , who we want to protect and hug forever. Now, if you’re thinking that this season sounds too loving and drama-free (aka boring), think again. Three different Chefs roll through, so there’s definitely drama on the high seas.

The first one, Mila Kolomeitseva , the “absolute oxygen thief,” was fired after Episode 5, because she (likely) lied on her resume, licked steaks, and couldn’t make nachos. With a culinary background in tow, Anastasia stepped up to help, which saw June Foster coming onboard to assist in the interior department. Enter Hannah’s infamous line of “June, June, Hannah” here.

Finally, Chef Ben returned to save the day, again. However, this led to June’s ousting, as Anastasia had to step back down to her stew role. Sweet baby Colin tried to fall on the sword though, taking June’s firing for the team, until Captain Sandy Yawn stepped in, saying nope.

Sadly, this season of BDM was one of the last fun-loving seasons for this series. So, if you are looking for something fun to watch, we cannot recommend Season 4 enough , as it’s one of the best in the Below Deck franchise.

Daisy Kelliher dishes Below Deck Sailing Yacht success, reveals if she still stalks to Gary King after scandal

Daisy Kelliher on BDS Season 4

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher has dished about her success on the hit show ahead of Season 5.

Daisy has appeared on three seasons of Below Deck Sailing Yacht and helped turn the show around after a lackluster first season.

Despite a serious rift in the dream team trio of Colin, Daisy, and Gary following Season 4, fans still can’t get enough of them.

Ahead of her fourth stint on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy has opened up about life following her success and how she ended up on the show.

Daisy lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic and at the urging of friends, she applied to be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Speaking with The Irish Independent, Daisy admitted that a couple of weeks after applying, she was filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 in Croatia.

Daisy Kelliher dishes Below Deck Sailing Yacht success

Although it may seem like Daisy’s life has changed drastically since she became a staple on the sailing franchise, she insists that’s not the case.

“My life hasn’t changed dramatically, but there have been small, subtle changes – it’s been fun,” she expressed to the outlet.

As Monsters and Critics previously reported, one big change for Daisy is her new friendship with Hollywood A-list star Christina Applegate.

Daisy also looked back on her life since her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, admitting she didn’t think she would get the gig, but is beyond happy she did.

“The last three years have been kind of a whirlwind, I really can’t complain. I’m getting to do all my yachting work and slowly getting to do other things as well,” Daisy stated.

With her fourth season hitting Bravo airwaves this year, one can’t help but wonder how much longer Daisy will still be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

“I’m just being a ‘yes person’ at the moment. The last few years have changed very quickly, so my attitude right now is just saying yes and seeing where things take me,” Daisy spilled. “I’ve done everything from podcasts to the show, to still doing both, so every day is very different. I don’t know what the future holds right now.”

Along with opening up about her success on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy also shared if she still speaks to Gary following sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Daisy Kelliher reveals if she still talks to Gary King

Last summer, Gary was accused of sexual misconduct by a production team member. However, even before that, Daisy and Gary were at odds over things that went down during Season 4, especially her hooking up with Colin.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans have wondered where Daisy and Gary stand today following the scandal and their fallout. After all, Gary was removed from BravoCon after the allegations against him came to light, so no resolution to his and Daisy’s friendship was revealed there.

During an Instagram Stories Q&A session, Daisy asked who she talks to from the show. Dani Soares and Gary were two names Daisy brought up immediately.

Although she did mention she keeps in touch with others like Alli Dore, Daisy also declared that they all simply live different lives. Daisy confirmed that no other cast members from Below Deck Sailing Yacht live in London, where she resides.

Daisy frequently hangs with Below Deck stars Fraser Olender and Hayley De Sola Pinto. She also spends time with Below Deck Med alum Courtney Veale since they live in London.

The wait to see Daisy Kelliher back on Below Deck Sailing Yacht won’t be much longer. Captain Glenn hinted at when the Parsifal III crew will be back, and you can read what he had to say here.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is currently on hiatus on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

‘Below Deck’ Sails Into a New Era

With a different captain at the helm and new production elements, the reality show about charter yachts is switching up its style.

A man in a crew member suit stands behind a bar and tends to flowers in a vase.

By Shivani Gonzalez

Starting a new season of “ Below Deck ” can be similar to returning to summer camp as a kid — you know it’s going to be fun and that you’ll be in the same environment, but some of the people will be different and you’re not quite sure what the vibes will be.

This time around, in particular, feels that way because for the first time in the show’s 11-season run, Captain Lee Rosbach is no longer at the helm. It’s a pivotal moment for a franchise that has become one of the most popular entities in the sprawling universe of reality TV since premiering on Bravo in 2013 . The show’s appeal was built on endless romances between various crew members (“boatmances,” as they came to be known), horrible charter guests and some sort of passive-aggressive fight about how many shackles of the anchor chain should be in the water. And there was always Rosbach presiding over the drama as he trudged around the boat, reeling off one liners like “I’m madder than a pissed-on chicken” and “we screwed the pooch so many times we should have a litter of puppies running around.”

At the center of the show now is Kerry Titheradge (the stern yet goofy captain of “Below Deck Adventure” fame), who is managing the Motor Yacht Saint David with the cheeky chief stew Fraser Olender by his side.

With that change in captain, the energy on the boat — both onscreen and off — is different, according to Olender.

“I feel like Kerry this season, as opposed to Lee, has a no B.S. attitude, which I love with him,” Olender said in an interview. “With Kerry, he taught me a lot and sort of forced to me confront issues directly with my team, work them out, as opposed to making executive decisions too soon.”

This shift in management style changes the central conflict — whereas the drama once focused on the captain swiftly kicking out any unpleasant crew member (as we might have seen with Rosbach), the drama now focuses on the whole crew trying to get along (since Titheradge gives people those second chances).

Additionally, Olender noted that the captain’s relationship with the crew can also affect the drama on board.

“Captains absolutely do get involved, whether they know it or not,” Olender said, adding that for the crew, everything is about “trying to impress your captain.”

This phenomenon plays out early in the new season when the lead deckhand, Ben Willoughby, called out a fellow crew member over the radios about not wearing a life vest — something he easily could have done in private. The drama that followed became an interpersonal conflict between the two of them, both with the ultimate goal of impressing Titheradge. (Of course, the two deckhands had kissed on the previous crew night out, which is more in line with the “Below Deck” drama viewers are used to.)

For “Below Deck” showrunners, the changeovers in the cast allowed them to rethink what the show would look like.

From the season premiere, it was immediately apparent that Rosbach’s absence wasn’t the only change this season: The filming is sleeker, the daily, multicourse meals prepared by the chef are given their own glamour shots and the cameras sometimes cut to the perspectives of yachties running around on deck and through the galley.

“Our showrunner, Lauren Simms, is an avid consumer of all different kinds of media,” Noah Samton, a senior vice president of unscripted current production for NBCUniversal, said in an interview. “She pitches us different ideas on how to stylistically evoke different feelings and change the mood a little bit of ‘Below Deck’ without removing what really works.”

Moving through the rest of the season, and potentially through seasons to come, Olender is aiming to bring a cutthroat management style while also bringing affection for his stews, all with his signature British humor.

On Bravo’s side, there are changes in the works for the other “Below Deck” spinoffs — including “Sailing Yacht,” “Mediterranean” and “Down Under” — which collectively, have 26 seasons. Specifically, Samton said that “Down Under” is currently filming and that even though fans should be ready to see new things, the show will stay true to its original concept.

“These are real yachties doing a real job so you have to stay within those confines because the audience isn’t going to want anything that is too produced or fake,” Samton said. “So we have to find ways to reinvent while staying true to the original concept of the show.”

And as Olender said: “I’m sure that every year if I were to work with this franchise again, that I’ll be thrown a collection of total chaotic and disastrous stews — that’s what makes it watchable.”

Below Deck 's Fraser Olender Is Ready to Fire This Crewmember in Tense Sneak Peek

One below deck season 11 yachtie tests chief stew fraser olender's last nerve by disrespecting his authority once again in e news' exclusive preview of the bravo series' march 11 episode..

It's Barbie's world—and Fraser Olender is tired of living in it.

In fact, the Below Deck Chief Stew seems ready to throw Stew  Barbie Pascual overboard for her constant back-talking and negative attitude in E! News' exclusive sneak peek at the Bravo series' March 11 episode.

While setting up their charter guests' dinner table, the crewmembers have a tense exchange after Barbie, once again, questions her boss' leadership skills.

"Do I have to switch out silverware tonight?" she asks in the clip, to which Fraser replies, "No, you shouldn't have to."

Barbie quips back, "I'm not really good with this. I'm just used to having a Chief Stew who tells me."

The passive-aggressive comment rubs Fraser the wrong way, prompting him to address it head-on.. "Do you want me to tell you?" he asks. "Is that what you're trying to say?"

In a confessional, Fraser admits Barbie's attitude is reminiscent of controversial season 10 Stew Camille Lamb , who was fired last year for her unprofessionalism and continual refusal to obey the rules.

"Barbie is demonstrating she really has no respect for authority," he notes. "I'm not going down the same route as last year. There was a lack of respect. Respect me or walk off. There's no room for any wavering in that."

Following their awkward interaction, Fraser rants about his problematic yachtie to Chef  Anthony Iracane .

"I don't like that girl," the 30-year-old admits. "You know what she said to me up there? She's like, 'I haven't got a really good understanding of the cutlery and how it works on it.' She goes, 'Usually the Chief Stew just tells me.' It's just so passive-aggressive."

See if Barbie's days aboard the St. David are numbered when Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

And keep reading to look back at the most explosive firings in Bravo history.

If there's one thing to learn from Camille Lamb 's Below Deck firing, it's to not slack off on the job. That's exactly why the season 10 stew was let go by substitute Captain Sandy Yawn , as Chief Stew Fraser Olender continued to criticize Camille's behavior on board.

From being caught drinking while preparing for a new charter to partying at late hours and more, Fraser informed Captain Sandy that he had reached his "last straw."

"She's the common denominator in all of this," said Captain Sandy. "Great girl, great personality, but at the same time, we have to do what's best for the boat."

Below Deck Adventure 's Kyle Dickard was let go just three episodes into the reality franchise's latest series—which premiered in November 2022. After picking fights with his fellow deckhand Nathan Morley —as well as kissing crew mates in front of guests—Kyle was offered by Captain Kerry Titheradge the opportunity to resign so that his firing would not end up on his personal record.

Kyle took the Captain up on his offer and left the boat after just one charter.

Captain Sandy let bosun Raygan Tyler go during season seven of Below Deck Mediterranean ,  not only for causing the boat to  take a small hit while docking, but also for not stepping up to the plate as a leader.

But Captain Sandy didn't want her firing to discourage the bosun, as she told Raygan, "If I had the time and I wasn't running a boat this size, I would train you. I would teach you."

In addition to onboard romances and failing to follow directions , one of the biggest reasons behind stew Elizabeth Frankini 's Below Deck firing was her infamous laundry room accident , during which made a toxic mess when combining bleach and laundry soap.

"Unfortunately, I didn't know that was so toxic and I feel so bad about it," she told E! News of the incident in December 2020 . "You know, I do feel really bad, especially 'cause Francesca [ Rubi ] did say, 'Take it outside.'"

The bosun and stew were both fired by Captain Jason Chambers for inappropriate behavior after a night of partying with their fellow yachties.

Luke Jones was let go after getting into Stew Margot Sisson 's bed naked while she was drunk and unconscious. Laura Bileskaine also made unwanted advances on Deckhand Adam Kodra despite him telling her he was not interested in hooking up.

Jason made it known that consent was a must, and sent both crewmembers packing.

Tensions between stew Lexi Wilson and Chef Mathew Shea came to a head during an explosive dinner fight on season six of Below Deck Mediterranean , during which Lexi told Matt that his parents "should've aborted you." That was the last straw for Captain Sandy, who fired her not long after the incident.

Deckhand Tom Pearson said "bon voyage" to Below Deck Sailing Yacht after getting let go by Captain Glenn Shephard . Tom hit his last strike with the Captain after failing to report that the boat's anchor was dragging during heavy winds one night, causing a potential safety risk for everyone on board.

"It had to be done. It was such a grievous thing that he dropped the ball there, he had to go, and we had to just be man down and live with it, you know?" Captain Glenn said of the decision  on Watch What Happens Live. "So, obviously, you don't want to do that, but yeah, it had to happen."

Some people are picky eaters, but Below Deck Down Under' s Ryan McKeown was quite the picky chef, as he would judge guests'  food requests  and fail to take  criticism from Captain Jason Chambers , as well.

Perhaps Ryan's Below Deck exit is one of the franchise's most memorable, as he mooned Jason and viewers on his way off the boat.

Below Deck Down Under stew Magda Ziomek 's firing was another case of slacking on the job. After constantly being on her phone texting or video chatting with her boyfriend, Chief Stew Aesha Scott decided to replace Magda before the end of the charter season.

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Peter Hunziker was fired from the series in June 2020 after he shared an offensive post on social media.

"Peter Hunziker of Below Deck Mediterranean has been terminated for his racist post," Bravo wrote in a statement at the time. "Bravo and 51 Minds are editing the show to minimize his appearance for subsequent episodes."

Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier was let go by Captain Sandy on Below Deck Mediterranean after boson Malia White discovered her co-star possessed undeclared Valium and a vape pen, the former of which Hannah claimed was for her anxiety.

"If I could do it all over again, I would've just declared them as soon as I came on board," Hannah stated in an August 2020 interview with E! News. "It was definitely not something that was intentional. I wasn't trying to hide anything.

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Delaney Evans left just as quickly as she arrived. After initially being brought on during season six to help out Chief Stew Katie Flood , Katie determined that Delaney was doing more harm than good, choosing to let her go after just one charter.

"I think she was overwhelmed with the situation, and I think that, you know, in her mind, the best solution to the situation was just to go back to what they had before," Delaney told Bravo Insider of Katie's decision. "I think she was just overwhelmed with everything that was going on and all the feedback she was getting."

Deckhand Shane Coopersmith was a bit in over his head on season eight of Below Deck , as he was let go for failing to know basic skills, reporting late for duty and taking naps on the job.

Chaos in the kitchen led to Captain Lee Rosbach letting Chef Leon Walker go on season three of Below Deck . After an oven fire broke out , Lee placed the blame on Chief Stew Kate Chastain but was ultimately the one sent home.

Like several of the franchise's stars, Below Deck 's Chris Brown  was fired  during season five for failing to fully perform his duties. After being let go by Captain Lee, Chris shared some parting words as he left the boat, stating , "Who gives a s--t?"

Chef Mila Kolomeitseva was fired by Captain Sandy on season four of Below Deck Mediterranean after failing to use her cooking skills to produce top-quality food for guests—including some not-so-nice nachos .

"Of course it makes me feel awful," Mila said of her departure . "People like me who have big egos sometimes have to be put down to earth a little bit. But it makes me feel like I want to work even harder."

Sometimes people just don't work well together. That's exactly why Captain Lee fired Chandler Brooks during season six of Below Deck , telling the boson, "I don't think it's a good fit."

Below Deck Season 11 Episode 7: Release Date & Preview

T he eleventh season of “Below Deck,” which explores the day-to-day activities of the crew members who reside and work on these lavish mega yachts, is scheduled to debut in February.

Captain Lee Rosbach departed the program after ten seasons. The boat is now under the direction of Captain Kerry Titheradge, who fans may remember from “Below Deck Adventure.”

This season, the crew of the luxurious yacht M/Y St. David is working on the Caribbean island nation of Grenada. The Bravo reality series, which debuted in 2013, gave rise to other spinoffs, including “Below Deck Mediterranean,” “Below Deck Sailing Yacht,” and “Below Deck Adventure.”

The seventh episode of “Below Deck” of Season 11 is called “Cat’s Out of the Bag.” The forthcoming episode will center on Cat’s stay on the yacht, examining whether or not she will be able to make friends with the crew or whether she will still struggle to fit in.

In addition, fans are curious to find out if Xandi Olivier will develop a love relationship with any of the cast members—especially after she divulged information regarding her previous marriage in the most recent episode. It remains to be seen if anyone on the yacht will be interested in this information.

A new main charter guest is also introduced in Episode 7, which heightens the suspense and excitement surrounding the events that are taking place.

Episode 6 of ‘Below Deck’ Season 11 features a confrontation between Jared and Kyle. Captain Kerry Titheradge is made aware of the disagreement and conveys his displeasure with both parties. Captain Titheradge warns Jared and Kyle of the circumstances.

Cat, meanwhile, is still having trouble “finding her place on the yacht.” According to the synopsis, Eileen is the source of stress on the entire yacht, and her night in the hot tub will have long-lasting consequences.

"It was another amazing week in LA. I just love how there is so much to do!" Daisy captioned the post, in which she noted how she visited Universal Studios, Mother Wolf restaurant, The Bungalow in Santa Monica, the club Lock & Key in Koreatown, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and Shirley's restaurant located inside the hotel. Daisy added that she saw the music group Kaskade at Avalon Hollywood for an "amazing" night out in the city.

Daisy Kelliher is friends with Christina Applegate

What's more, Daisy has also formed an unlikely friendship over the past few months with actress Christina Applegate, who became a big fan of the Below Deck   franchise.

"She’s a huge Bravo fan, and she reached out to me via Instagram, and was massively supportive," Daisy shared in an interview with the  Daily Mail on February 19. She said, 'Hey Daisy,' and we FaceTime and stuff. She's just so nice."

The chief stew also noted she hoped to "meet up" with Christina some day. Daisy didn't post any photos from her L.A. trip with Christina, but we wonder if they did indeed meet up during Daisy's trip.

"She's busy with her family and I know she is taking it easy, and keeping all of her energy for her [Multiple Scelorsis], but hopefully we’ll make time," Daisy concluded to the outlet.

More details from Daisy Kelliher's vacation in Los Angeles
