X-50 Year 2007

Sailing an X-50 is an extraordinary experience when you're looking for a solid, rigid and fast boat. This model designed by Niels JEPPENSEN keep all the criteria of a racer cruiser very well equipped with a carbon mast and a canoe boom. You can feel the quality of the shipyard on the deck and cockpit teak or inside. With 3 cabins and 3 bathrooms, she offers a great comfort at sea and at a mooring with complete equipment (generator, heater, water maker, new rigging and new sails ...).

Owner's words

I bought this boat in 2012 from its owner who used it only 3 weeks a year. The boat was perfectly maintained by the dealer Xyacht, she was in perfect condition. I sailed it regularly in the weekend on the Mediterranean and during longer cruises of a few weeks, each year in Corsica, Sardinia, Italy. The boat has never been rented and it did not race. I wanted to maintain a very high level of maintenance, by entrusting its maintenance to recognized professionals. and by improving its level of equipment and electrical autonomy. I had thus installed; a generator. I had the ROD rigging and sails changed. A major engine overhaul with removal was done in 2015.

The Xc 50 is the largest model in the Xcruising range and offers a wide range of custom options to allow owners to create an elegant and personalised luxury yacht.

We got extensive feedback from a large group of Xc owners, as well as our own experience over the last 10 years. Therefore, in 2019 we saw the launch of the ‘ X-Yachts 40 Years Anniversary ’ edition of the Xc 50. The ‘Anniversary’ edition of the Xc 50 builds upon the success of the Xcruising range, with an updated specification implementing improvements from feedback, gathered from a fleet of over 300 Xc yachts worldwide.

From this edition of the Xc 50 and onwards, the Xc models are built using epoxy infusion in the hull. X-Yachts hulls are post-cured or “oven-baked” to improve structural properties of the composite. Epoxy resin has higher mechanical and thermal stability than traditional polyester resins. Added value to this production method is weight reduction.

Exterior upgrades include new optional jib self-tacker design, composite bowsprit and new colourways.

Interior upgrades include Nordic oak furniture and new upholstery types, cushion design and new interior fittings throughout.

Bathing Platform

The large bathing platform is operated by a purchase block system.

Cockpit Table

The cockpit table with central storage, includes compass and handrail with drink holders.

Mainsheet System

Split mainsheet passes below deck on both sides and is led back to the aftmost cockpit winches.

Stainless Steel Winches

Stainless steel self-tailing Andersen Winches are part of Xc 50's comprehensive standard quality.

The large bathing platform is operated by a purchase block system. Below deck storage for a liferaft is accessed from the bathing platform.

The cockpit table with central storage, includes compass and handrail with drink holders. Optional chart plotter and autopilot control can be fitted into the aft end of the table.

Split mainsheet passes below deck on both sides and is led back to the aftmost cockpit winches. Optional vacuum applied teak on the coachroof.

Stainless steel self-tailing Andersen Winches, which can be upgraded to be electrical powered are part of Xc 50's comprehensive standard quality.

Interior Luxury

Custom options include an extra large owners’ cabin, with ensuite heads to port, incorporating space for appliances such as a washing machine.

Alternatively the Xc 50 can accommodate a forepeak crew cabin, and central master heads.

Aft, there are two roomy double cabins, with the option of both ensuite.

Alternatively an extra-spacious galley can be created with additional worktop space to port, and a single aft heads with shower.

The galley features Corian worktop, space for two refrigerators, optional microwave, and Nespresso machine.

In heads, the Xc 50 introduces new Corian worktops, new sink design and angled make-up mirror.

Standard Layout

Owners' cabin with large double center berth. Owners' en-suite head is located on port side with dedicated shower compartment.

Large saloon with seating for 6 around the table, plus additional sofa on starboard side. Forward facing nav station with ample space for charts. Spacious U-shaped galley featuring an extra large worktop in white Corian.

Standard aft head, located on starboard side, with dedicated shower compartment. Spacious aft double cabins with storage under berth.

Optional Layout

Owners' cabin with large double berth to port. Owners' en-suite head is located forward. Large sail locker.

Large saloon with seating for 6 around the table, plus additional sofa on starboard side. Forward facing nav station with ample space for charts. Spacious U-shaped galley with 3-burner stove and optional front opening fridge.

Enlarged aft head with dedicated shower, located on starboard side, with additional head on port side. Spacious aft double cabins with storage under berth.
