Join the celebrated rock bands Train and REO Speedwagon as they are co-headlining the “Summer Road Trip 2024” tour together for the first time. Adding spice to the night is guest performer Yacht Rock Revue this Tuesday, August 20, at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, East Lake-Orient Park, Florida. The 45-date tour will commence in July in Wisconsin and will crisscross the country until September in Phoenix.

Trains lead singer Pat Monahan reminisces about his admiration for REO Speedwagon from his youth, “When I was younger I heard a band called REO Speedwagon and fell in love with their numerous, infectious hit songs,” Pat shares. “Years later, I met Kevin Cronin, and thank goodness he’s as great a person as he is a songwriter. ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Even if you’ve never heard of Yacht Rock, you’ve certainly heard of some of the genre’s staple artists, like the Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan and Boz Scaggs. And soon, you can hear the classics all over again thanks to Yacht Rock Revue!
Nicholas Niespodziani, a vocalist with Yacht Rock Revue, came to Atlanta News First to talk about the group’s upcoming performance in Alpharetta. Described by Rolling Stone as “the world’s premiere soft rock party band,” the group was formed in Atlanta in 2007 and now tours all across the country, playing beloved soft rock classics from the mid-’70s to mid-’80s.
