Registration has now opened for tickets for the British Motor Yacht Show 2024.

The annual event, which is curated by Fairline, Premier Marinas, Princess and Sunseeker, will be held at Swanwick Marina in Hampshire.

Visitors need to register for the free show , which runs from 16-19 May.

Upon registration, visitors will receive an invitation to book appointments to view boats.

The 11th edition will see 50 boating brands exhibiting more than 70 boats including the Fairline Targa 40, the Sunseeker Superhawk 55, Fairline Squadron 58, Princess X80, Windy 34 Alize and Azimut Magellano 60.

Exhibiting for the first time at the British Motor Yacht Show will be Argo Yachting Ltd, presenting their Pardo and Galeon brands, Virtue Yacht, with its V10 adventure yacht, Sargo Yachts with the Sargo Fly 3 and RBS Marine with the Rodman Spirit 31 Outboard, built in celebration of the Rodman shipyard’s 50th anniversary.

This year’s event is a little later on the calendar than usual to allow time to finish the new building development at the Swanwick Marina venue.

This year’s line-up features a fabulous range of new models from British brands such as Princess , Fairline , Sunseeker , Pearl and Supermarine as well as popular overseas manufacturers such as Sealine , Prestige , Bavaria , Galeon , Jeanneau and Beneteau .

It’s also a great opportunity to see some rarer newcomers to the UK such as Bluegame , Aquila, Fjord and Ryck.

The full line-up for the British Motor Yacht Show has been unveiled ahead of it opening later this week. 

The highly anticipated 2024 event takes place at Premier Swanwick Marina from Thursday to Sunday (May 16 to 19).

Organised by industry pioneers Fairline, Premier Marinas, Princess, and Sunseeker, this year's event includes the addition of prestigious newcomers, alongside the confirmation of returning favourites.

With over 80 motor yachts on display, including the all-new Fairline Targa 40, the Princess X80 and the Sunseeker Superhawk 55, both esteemed winners of the 2024 Motor Boat Awards, this event promises to be a celebration of marine innovation, elegance and luxury.

Making their show debuts, Sanlorenzo Yachts and Candela join the event for the first time. Italian yacht brand Sanlorenzo will showcase its cutting-edge design and artisan craftsmanship with a beautifully specified SL90A. At 28-metres, it will be the largest yacht on display at the show. 

The electric hydrofoil Candela C-8, the only one of its kind in the UK, will also have its show debut providing eco-conscious enthusiasts with a glimpse into the latest in green technology.

Returning to the show, marine adventure brand Arksen will present its exceptional range, including the Arksen 30 and 28 alongside several of its iconic outdoor products. These join a line-up of other next-generation adventure boats, including the UK debut of the Axopar 29, the Brabus Marine Shadow 900 and 500 and the XO Crossover DFNDR 9 and EXPLR 9.

MOSCOW -- Russia on Thursday declared Britain's defense attaché persona non grata and gave the diplomat a week to leave the country in response to London's decision to expel the Russian defense attaché earlier this month over spying allegations.

Russia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it summoned a representative of the British Embassy in Moscow on Thursday to express its “strong protest in connection with the unfriendly and groundless decision” to expel the Russian attaché from London. “We emphasized that we regard this step as a politically motivated action of clearly Russophobic nature, which is causing irreparable damage to bilateral relations,” the statement read.

Britain on May 8 announced several measures to target Moscow’s intelligence gathering operations in the U.K. Those included a decision to boot Maxim Elovik, a Russian colonel who the British government termed an “undeclared military intelligence officer,” rescinding the diplomatic status of several Russian-owned properties because they are believed to have been used for intelligence purposes, and imposing new restrictions on Russian diplomatic visas and visits.

The government said the measures followed criminal cases in London alleging espionage and sabotage by people acting on behalf of Russia.

It also cited allegations that the Russian government planned to sabotage military aid for Ukraine in Germany and Poland and carried out spying in Bulgaria and Italy , along with cyber and disinformation activities, air space violations and jamming GPS signals to hamper civilian air traffic.

In response, Russia's Foreign Ministry on Thursday announced the expelling of the British defense attaché Adrian Coghill, and vowed “further retaliatory steps.”

The U.K. has had an uneasy relationship with Russia for years, accusing its agents of targeted killings and espionage, including cyberattacks aimed at British lawmakers and leaking and amplifying sensitive information to serve Russian interests. After Russia sent troops into Ukraine, Britain has also sanctioned hundreds of wealthy Russians and moved to clamp down on money laundering through London’s property and financial markets.
