The Dyna-Glo Double Burner Tank Top Radiant Heater generates radiant heat that warms people and objects, rather than the air. Rated at 15,000 BTUs, the heats up to a 25 square foot radius for a period of 28 hours depending on the number of burners lit and the BTU level selected. The does not require electricity and it is mounted directly to a standard 20 pound liquid propane (LP) tank (not included). The single burner 20 pound tank run time is 28 hours at 15,000 BTUs. The double burner 20 pound tank run time is 14 hours at 15,000 BTUs. As a hand wheel is included to connect the P.O.L. tank connection to a standard 20 pound tank. Ronde van Zwitserland   klassement

Ketting van De Lie schiet eraf in volle sprint, Coquard mag juichen in Zwitserland

Geen tweede Belgische ritzege op een rij in de Ronde van Zwitserland. Arnaud De Lie zat in een uitstekende positie voor de sprint, maar zijn ketting werkte niet mee. De Fransman Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) kreeg zo weinig tegenstand in de sprintoverwinning.

• winnaar van de dag De koning van de ereplaatsen in de WorldTour schiet voor de tweede keer raak op het hoogste niveau, na zijn ritzege in de Tour Down Under vorig jaar. Eens de 30 gepasseerd maakt Bryan Coquard plots een einde aan zijn status van telkens net niet in de WorldTour.
• verliezer van de dag Zouden we een andere winnaar gekregen hebben zonder het probleem voor Arnaud De Lie? Onze landgenoot zat ideaal in het wiel van de Franse ritwinnaar, maar zijn ketting schoot eraf net op het moment dat Coquard aanzette. Pech hoort erbij, maar het is wel jammer voor De Lie.
• morgen Nog een dagje in de Zwitserse heuvels, want vlakke ritten in lijn zijn niet in de mode dit jaar in Zwitserland. Het slot is nog wat pittiger dan dat van vandaag, met de aankomst op een puistje van 800 meter aan 7%. Revanche voor de Belgen, met kanshebbers als De Lie, Nys en Van Gils?

De Lie overleeft pittige finale, maar heeft pech

Was het daags na het succes van Yves Lampaert  opnieuw aan de Belgen in de Ronde van Zwitserland?

Het heuvelachtige parcours met vlakke aankomst lag perfect binnen de mogelijkheden van Arnaud De Lie  en Thibau Nys .

Ook het voorspel werd verzorgd door een landgenoot. Gerben Kuypers  trok samen met een viertal op pad voor een dag in de aanval, met als beloning de bergtrui. 

In de finale speelden de moegestreden vluchters geen rol meer. Op Regensberg, het laatste pittige hellinkje van de dag, trok Alberto Bettiol  van bij de voet alle registers open.

Na een nieuwe versnelling bij Alpecin-Deceuninck voor Axel Laurance, bleef er nog een elitegroepje van een veertigtal over op de top. Bettiol lanceerde zich na de razendsnelle afdaling voor een solo van 4 kilometer richting ritzege.

Er keerden alleen voldoende snelle mannen en ploegmaats terug om het tot een sprint te laten komen. Daar leek De Lie in ideale positie aan te beginnen, vanuit het wiel van de eerst aanzettende Bryan Coquard . 

Een sputterende ketting zorgde ervoor dat het toch nog misliep voor De Lie. Hij was het wiel van Coquard kwijt en de haan was gaan vliegen, met meteen 2 fietslengtes voorsprong.

Matthews werd 2e, De Lie sprintte ondanks dat probleem naar plek 3. En wel nog een Belg aan het feest: Lampaert behoudt zijn gele leiderstrui. 

De Lie: "Zonder problemen doe ik mee voor de overwinning"

Bryan Coquard:  "Ik ben een goede sprinter, maar tegen de grote namen is het moeilijk. Vandaag was een mooie kans voor mij om met een kleine groep aan te komen. Een perfecte finale en een perfecte sprint voor mijn mooiste overwinning."    

Arnaud De Lie : "Het was een zware rit. Het is balen, want zonder problemen doe ik mee voor de overwinning. Nu ben ik maar 3e."

Uitslag Rit 2

Fase per fase.

De leiderstrui blijft in handen van Yves Lampaert. We verwachten toch dat hij overeind bleef in de chaotische finale in het peloton. 

Matthews sprint naar plek 2, De Lie wordt ondanks zijn mechanisch probleem nog 3e. Zonder dat euvel zat er ongetwijfeld meer in. 

Bryan Coquard pakt de ritzege!

Ai ai, een schakelprobleem voor De Lie! Op het moment dat Coquard aangaat, krijgt onze landgenoot het juiste verzet niet te pakken. Zo pakt de Fransman meteen een serieus gat, dat niemand meer dicht krijgt. Bingo voor de Fransman! 

De Lie gaat ideaal door de laatste bocht in 3e positie, in het wiel van Coquard. 

Laatste km.

Ook Coquard zit waar hij moet zitten onder de vod. Bettiol gegrepen, we gaan sprinten! 

Een vijftal seconden, daar moet Bettiol het mee doen. Buchmann en Hayter gaan in het peloton tegen de grond en zullen zich niet meer mengen. 

Lotto-Dstny heeft een treintje op de rails gezet voor Arnaud De Lie. En ook Decathlon-AG2R wil Lapeira loodsen in de laatste kilometers. 

Nog 3 kilometer

Veel volk komt weer aansluiten door het aarzelende gedrag achter Bettiol. Maar is 3 kilometer nog wel voldoende om de hardrijder terug te zien? 

Er komt niet meteen een reactie tot op zijn wiel. Bettiol moet het in zijn eentje uitvechten tegen het groepje daarachter. 

De renners zijn beneden en het is Bettiol die zich lanceert voor de laatste 4,5 vlakke kilometers. Erop en erover en de Italiaan gaat alleen op zoek naar de ritzege. 

EF-EasyPost controleert

Kragh Andersen heeft een gaatje te pakken op de rest van groep 1, met een man in het wiel. EF-EasyPost controleert het duo, Van den Berg zit dus mee. 

Het is gissen naar de sprinters die nog aan boord zijn in de stevig uitgedunde groep. En is leider Yves Lampaert mee boven geraakt in groep 1? 

Een groepje van een man of 40, meer lijkt het niet te zijn dat op 10 km van de aankomst de afdaling inzet. Houden de maats van Laurance het tempo hoog genoeg zodat de geloste snelle mannen niet terug keren? 

Zo ontstaan er steeds meer scheurtjes in het peloton. Jenni en De la Cruz zijn alweer gegrepen. 

Alpecin-Deceuninck met een nieuwe punch

Laurance zat daarnet helemaal alleen, maar daar zijn zijn ploegmaats van Alpecin-Deceuninck. Een nieuwe cartouche, die Arnaud Démare de kop kost. 

David de la Cruz verdappert en gaat alleen op zoek naar Jenni uit het peloton. De ploegen van de sprinters controleren en drukken het tempo op Regensberg wat. Iedereen wil mee over de top. 

Voor heel wat mannen ligt het tempo van Bettiol te hoog. Onder andere Quintana moet er af. 

Achter Bettiol zitten nog veel roze ploegmaats van EF-EasyPost. Zij lijken de kaart van Marijn van den Berg te trekken, ook Arnaud De Lie houdt prima stand voorin het peloton.

A complicated vocabulary and a lack of dedicated signs in American Sign Language makes Organic Chemistry a challenge for deaf and hard of hearing students. Collision worked with interpreters to develop new ASL signs, leading to profound learning improvements for her students.

Studying health studies has helped Jaff develop her logic and analytical skills. Adding a dual major in metals and jewelry design will prepare her well for medical school, where today's doctors must be both knowledgeable and innovative in their approaches to patient care.

2024 Memorial Tournament money: Here’s how much every player made

Adam Hadwin, a week ago, in his home country’s Canadian Open , didn’t cash. After rounds of 72 and 70, he missed the cut. 

But things weren’t all bad. 

He was also gifted something valuable. 

A round with a pull cart. 

He said last weekend he played Toronto Golf Club. No pressure. Just friends. Just pulling. 

“I think every one of us [Canadians] always loves when we get north of the border,” Hadwin said this week. “Some of the other guys spend a little bit more time up there than I do. I’m rarely up there anymore. So it’s always nice to kind of cross and be amongst other Canadians, and obviously we get really good support.

“Yeah, it sucks to not play well, especially up there. I mean it sucks to miss cuts, but missing a cut in Canada is definitely up there with some of the worst. I got to spend some time with my mom, just kind of chill out, played Toronto Golf Club on Saturday, just relaxed.

“I was joking with the guys that I used a push cart around. I hadn’t done that in years, get back to what the game used to be for us growing up, just slugging it around yourself, hitting shots, having fun, enjoying company. The game can wear on you sometimes, and I think that I can lose sight of that sometimes with the best of ’em.”

Was playing that round, just pushing the push cart, helpful?

“Yeah, I think so,” said Hadwin, who entered Sunday’s final round of the Memorial tied for second. “I struggle sometimes to do those rounds. If I don’t play well, I kind of wonder why I’m out here. But, yeah, I think just kind of get back to what I used to do as a junior and as a young amateur when the game was not my livelihood and not how I paid bills or anything like that. Just go out and enjoy some good company and hack it around and hopefully hit a few good shots and kind of just enjoy the experience again.”
