Amazing trip! Captain Luis is an excellent boater and handled the ship expertly in some choppy water. The boat herself is bigger than I expected with lots of seating options. She’s very well maintained and just gorgeous overall. She handles the water very smoothly. Excellent ride. He took us to a couple of destinations important to my family for a memorial for one of our family members who had passed. He pointed out lots of interesting things about the Islands and we had a brief dolphin sighting! It was the perfect trip. We couldn’t have asked for a more attentive, caring person.

Really nice guy, very interested in customers making positivity memories. There was an issue with our original booking and he found some creative and wonderful solutions

Great host and San Juan island tour.

Sailing with Ed was the highlight of our weekend! We had such a great time on his incredible boat. We'll be back!

Captain Ron does not control the weather. So when we say we had a PERFECT DAY with him, we laugh to think how nice the weather was. Ron is such a cool guy. He is super mellow, but a great conversationalist. He taught us a lot about sailing and the local archipeligo. Can't recommend him enough.

The Royal Victoria Yacht Club was founded in June 1892 and is the oldest yacht club in western Canada. Our main clubhouse and marina is located on the protected waters of Cadboro Bay while our Tsehum Haven marina is located near the town of Sidney.

Title & Summary Title

Our club promotes yachting, boating, navigation, seamanship and offers racing events, cruising excursions, moorage, kayak & stand up paddle boards rentals (free of charge), dining, themed events and much more. The Royal Victoria Yacht Club is fun for kids from two to one hundred and two. With more than just a clubhouse facility, we can offer members something to meet every need.
