The multi-award winning 95.1m/312' motor yacht 'AV' (ex. Palladium) was built by Blohm + Voss in Germany at their Hamburg shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Michael Leach and she was delivered to her owner in September 2010. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Michael Leach.

Guest Accommodation

AV has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 suites comprising one VIP cabin. Additionally, there are 3 staff cabins aboard. She is also capable of carrying up to 34 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Her features include beauty salon, elevator, gym and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

AV is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 959 TE70L) 16-cylinder 4,600hp engines running at 1750rpm, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 19 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 480,000 litre fuel tanks at 16 knots. Her water tanks store around 102,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠ 100A1 SSC YACHT(P) MONO G6; EP, LI. ✠ LMC, UMS, PCAC(1.1) classification society rules, and is MCA LY2 Compliant.

Motor Yacht

Project Orca is a 96 metre motor yacht under construction at Blohm + Voss. Her exterior and interior styling are both the work of UK-based Michael Leach Design.

Orca features an advanced, futuristic superstructure composed of steel, alloy and composite with an innovative glazing.The ultra-modern yacht with curved superstructure is said to feature interiors by Silverlining and Metrica. Project Orca will also include two Cougar Marine custom tenders on her sports deck. Orca can accommodate 16 guests in six guest cabins, one owner's cabin, and one nanny cabin.

Powered by twin MTU 595 TE 70l Diesel engines, motor yacht Orca will be capable of 19 knots at top speed and will be able to travel 6000nm at 14 knots.

The 96 metre SuperYacht ORCA launched in March 2010 has been now christened to Yacht PALLADIUM.

Superyacht Palladium (ex yacht Orca ) has an orca inspired design by the renown design team at Michael Leach Design .  Her black and white markings and curved organic forms resemble those of the natures own king of the seas killer whale.

There are no interior images available at this stage, however yacht Palladium is believed to feature interiors created by Silverlining and Metrica. She is able to accommodate guests in eight luxuriously furnished cabins, some of them being full suites. The total accommodation therefor is for sixteen guests.

MotorYacht PALLADIUM features a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. She is believed to be powered by 2 MTU 575 L70 Diesel Engines.

BLOHM and VOSS Yachts – Operating Since 1877

This historical yet flourishing and operational German shipyard has survived all kinds of storms for nearly two centuries.

Blohm & Voss has persevered through wars and economic downturns without ever completely shutting its doors.

Blohm and Voss History

Blohm and Voss were founded in 1877 with the somewhat simple aim of constructing iron steamships.

It wouldn’t take long before this vision matured into a much larger and more profitable venture.

They built massive steamships, warships, and sailing ships. Recognizing the important changes in ship design in places like the U.K., Blohm and Voss rose to the challenge and became the first non-U.K shipyard to use steel in its production of steamboats.

This feat, along with its reputation for quick delivery, brought profitable attention to B+V. By the early 20th century, they had begun to build passenger ships.

In 1900, the Hamburg American Line, a cruise line, launched its first passenger ship in collaboration with Blohm & Voss.

Today, the company offers both military and civilian services. Its military end is operated by ThyssenKrupp, while its civilian business—which exclusively launches custom, luxury superyachts—is controlled by Star Capital.

Notable Launches

One of the most famous yachts launched by the shipyard is Lady Moura . She is one of the biggest yachts in the world.

The 162.5-m Eclipse , owing to its interior and exterior design to Terence Disdale , was also built by Blohm and Voss.

Blohm & Voss continues to put out marvels in naval architecture in collaboration with some of the most creative yacht designers in the world. They also offer yacht management and refit services.
