Podickory Point Yacht and Beach Club is an Annapolis marina located between the Bay Bridge and the mouth of the Magothy River. Boaters will love that the marina is nestled in the state-owned nature preserve of the Sandy Point State Park, giving the marina a camp-like beachy vibe. Podickory Point boasts a private beach that is an ideal launching pad for your sailboat, windsurfer, kayak, or jet ski. You can also swim, sunbathe and relax by the beach, or at their full-sized and kiddie pools. Feeling active? Podickory Point also has a tennis court. Last, but not least, the 1,200 square foot Pavilion provides a shaded area to enjoy a BBQ with family or friends. Multiple picnic tables and charcoal grills are available for your use. The marina encourages social events and gatherings and even has an event space for any of your celebratory needs.

Beautiful marina located right on the bay. Recently bought by Safe Harbor marinas, a national operator of over 100 marinas. They are pouring massive amounts of money into making this a world class marina. New boat lift. New floating docks. New club house. Renovated beach.
Spring cleaning!
Beautiful location but marina is run down. Two sisters own it but don't put money into it. They just collect the $$$.
Beautiful marina on Chesapeake Bay. Conveniently located near the town of Cape St Clair, just before the Bay Bridge. Pool with lifeguards, clubhouse and tennis courts. Wet slips and dry storage with a beach. Very well managed, a great place for families and fun, I've been coming here for 20+ years and can't say enough good things about Podickery Point!

I had a very unfortunate experience with the manager, Charlie, and when I called to ask to speak to the owners or for there contact information or his superior he refused! Would not recommend unless under new management! Please contact me if anyone has information of owners contact information!
Although not a luxury establishment, Podickory is unpretentious and well-run, with a small, friendly (and busy) staff. I use the dry stack, which presents some trade-offs to trailering or wet slip, but it's the best mix for me and it seems as well executed as it can be at Podickory. Access is directly on the bay, so hard to duck into a river straightaway if it's snotty out. The pool is a nice bonus, as are the picnic grounds, which helps justify the expense if the whole family isn't equally boat-oriented. The clubhouse is popular for catered events, and it's a nice place to chill out for a while of there's not an event on, but there's no operating bar or restaurant. There's also no boat service on site, but there are excellent vendors that serve the marina for boat service. The "beach" is tiny, but technically, there is one. I've enjoyed my two seasons there, and look forward to many more.

Podickory Point Yacht & Beach Club is a privately owned marina on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay situated between the Bay Bridge and the mouth of the Magothy River. We provide a variety of options to store your vessel at our facility. These include: Wet Slips up to 50 feet in length, Lift Slips for vessels up to 35feet in length, Boatel or High and Dry Storage for vessels up to 12,000 pounds, Beach storage for Catamarans, Kayaks and small Sailboats, Jet Ski storage under cover with access to 2 electric davits for launching.
The Marine Trades Association of Maryland (MTAM) is a non-profit dedicated to promoting the recreational marine industry and waterway preservation. Founded in 1972, MTAM now comprises nearly 400 marine related businesses.
