Bluewater Yacht Management & Services, LLC is operated and owned by a SWFL local USCG licensed Merchant Mariner. We have over 30 years of extensive boating and recreational marine knowledge. Anthony Russo has worked in the yacht and boating industry since 2015, including managing and operating a yacht management company and managing and operating yachts and vessels up to 70 feet in length. Anthony worked full time for a yacht manufacturer and continues to provide customer support for their owners, represent the company at boat shows and deliver vessels to and from shows, handles new owner orientations and trainings, along with commissioning of new yachts through his company Bluewater Yacht Management & Services, LLC. Anthony has operated vessels up to 70 feet in length from Tampa, FL to the Florida Keys (including over 50 Lake Okeechobee crossings), The Florida Keys all the way up the eastern seaboard to Maine, and the Bahamas. He has extensive navigational experience in new areas, inlets, and waterways that have come from over 30 deliveries throughout the eastern seaboard. Along with the operations of vessels, Anthony has an array of experience on all systems of vessels including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc. We at Bluewater Yacht Management & Services, LLC. truly have a love and passion for what we do. Bluewater Yacht Services is the sister company to Grenada Bluewater Sailing, a highly respected RYA Training Centre.

Grenada Bluewater Sailing is well-known within the yachting industry, both internationally and locally, giving us the knowledge and connections to offer the best yachting services in this area.

We are now able to offer complete agency services to visiting superyachts in Grenada and the Grenadines, alongside quality assured yacht management services to private yacht owners in Grenada. We take care to tailor our services to the individual needs of the customer.

Meet the Team

Alex has logged over 100,000 miles sailing worldwide on a variety of vessels. He is the proprietor of Grenada Bluewater Sailing , the top RYA Training Centre in Grenada. Alex holds a commercially endorsed RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean Certificate of Competence, current ENG1, and is a PADI AOW diver. Alex has lived and worked in Grenada for over 10 years.

Michael is a confident, hardworking and organised individual. He always strives to deliver to the highest standard which is reflected in his excellent references. Michael served for 8 years in the British Army, and was promoted early due to his self-motivation, positive mindset and passion for excellence. He has since moved home to Grenada and has undertaken his RYA sail training up to professional Yachtmaster level with Grenada Bluewater Sailing. Michael also attended University in the UK studying Business and Management, and Logistics Operations Management. He also has an AWARDS Level 3 Maritime Security Operator (Armed) certification.

Blue Water Yacht Services is a new Company founded by British born Tony Clynick. The company operates throughout Europe from a base near Valencia in Spain. Whether you are interested in a Motor Yacht or Sailing Yacht, Commercial or Private, Family Cruiser, Performance or Superyacht we would be pleased to assist you.

 With experience of every type of vessel from sailing dinghies, inflatables and small fishing boats to motor yachts up to 105m and sailing yachts up to 80m we have the knowledge, qualifications and practical training to offer you technical advice or just a friendly opinion. AROUND THE WORLD

After a house, a yacht is probably the second largest expense for a family, and for peace of mind and security I would always recommend a survey prior to moving forward. Unlike a house, a yacht is frequently chosen by the heart, rather than a logical mind, and even the most experienced sailor can miss a crucial point. Therefore, I believe, an independent opinion is well worth the extra cost. The survey can range from a full pre-purchase/condition survey which could take several days, to a simple walk through of just a few hours to gain a quick idea of the condition of the vessel and whether it is worth proceeding further.

At Blue Water Yacht Services we can be flexible to fully meet your requirements on which type and scope of survey is best for you. Our reports will be comprehensive, and written so that they are easy to understand, offering suggestions, comments, recommendations and probable time and costs of any repairs if needed. We will always be available to discuss any issues in greater detail by email, phone or in person.

At Blue Water Yacht Services we offer a personalized and impartial Yacht Consultancy Service, advising on a range of issues important to the prospective Owner.

We can research yacht design and suitability for the Owner’s intended use whether Offshore sailing, Ocean cruising, Racing, Coastal passages, Lake sailing, short-handed or fully crewed, etc. We can initiate Title and Lien Checks, and advise on various Ownership Structures, Cost Controls, Insurance Companies and Policies, requirements for Chartering, VAT, Commercial Registration, Classification, and Crew costs etc. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find space in a Marina, and we can assist the Owner in finding a berth in the right location and at a reasonable cost.

Whatever the size of your yacht, please contact us for advice on these or any other topic you have concerns or questions about. We will be pleased to help you in any way we can.

In addition to our Consultancy Service we also offer a Yacht Management Division, taking most of the stress out of yacht Ownership. Tony has managed several multi-million Refit and New Build projects, all of which were completed to the Owners full satisfaction.

As Manager of your Yacht we will ensure all Statutory Certificates ( Flag Sate, Safety, ISM, MLC, Classification, Safe Manning etc ) are in date. We will also ensure the yacht complies with all relevant Tax, Insurance, ISPS and Port State regulations. In addition, as the Owner’s Representative we can supervise and oversee New Construction, Refit and Repair, Pre-Delivery Inspection and Warranty Work etc. ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard, on time and on or below budget, allowing the Owner the security to know his yacht will be available without delay or additional costs.

The surrounding area is a little rough but they offer a free water taxi to downtown where there is the NASA museum and bars/restaurants, with a small town feel. I’ll be back to stay with them again. Bluewater marina has top notch facilities and some beautiful Vikings for your viewing pleasure. The fuel prices are always good and the fuel is fresh thanks to the good number of large sport fish that run out of there. The restaurant has some good eats as well. We head over occasionally and grab a slip for a couple hours just so we can grab a bite at Surf Rider. We thank you for the “Taxi” ride over to enjoy the Festival, but really thank you for the return “LIMO” ride in that beautiful 41 ft Regulator. We will see you in July.

Called Bluewater while heading south down the bay with a leaky water heater on 12/22/15…they made all the arrangements to order and fix before we even arrived. 9am on 12/23/15 two service guys we at the boat in the pouring rain…by 10:30am the water heater was installed and we were ready to keep heading south! We stayed here for a couple days with the SaltyDawgRally. We needed a couple repairs right away so we could make our weather window. (Our freezer died and a hatch hinge needed welding.)
