Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

St. Barths is generally temperate and dry, although the summer is warmer and rainier. The best months to visit the island are November through April, when the trade winds blow and the sun almost always shines.

• Explore historic Fort Karl. Karl Fort was one of the three forts surrounding Gustavia in Swedish times. The other forts were Forts Gustav and Octav. The fort overlooks Shell Beach and offers a beautiful view of Gustavia.
• Eden Rock Hotel. Hotel Eden Rock is an iconic St Barths hotel that has welcomed some of Hollywood’s hottest stars as its guests. Enjoy a meal at the Sand Bar, a gourmet outdoor terrace restaurant.
• Visit Anse des Flamands on the North part of St Barths. Here, you’ll find world-class hotels and vacation rentals.
• Go to St-Jean, a quaint village perfect for escaping the crowds.
• Visit Colombier Beach, a crescent-shaped bay of turquoise water fringed with powdery sand and emerald-colored hills.
• Wall House Museum. Visit this museum to uncover the story of the island. Free entrance and open every day except Sunday.
• Swedish Clock Tower in Gustavia. The Clock tower was once part of a church. The Clock Tower and the adjoining former Swedish Jail are quaint buildings on a hill. Constructed in 1799, it is the oldest colonial structure in Gustavia. It is a good example of the town’s Swedish-styled architecture and a glimpse into the past.
• Jardins Historiques De Gustav Iii. A collection of colorful plants, shrubs, and cacti is on the way to the lighthouse.

Things to Do on St. Barthélemy

• Rent an ATV or car and explore the island.
• Beachcomb on Shell Beach. Be sure to wear shoes because the beach lives up to its name. Shells cover the sand.
• Have a spa day at Le Barthelemy Hotel and Spa.
• Take a submarine trip. A Yellow Submarine tour departs from Gustavia Harbour and will travel six feet beneath the surface.
• Scuba dive. Shallow reefs and 22 dive sites surround St Barths. Be sure to explore the wreck of the Nonstop, a yacht that sunk in 1989 during Hurricane Hugo.
• Kitesurf. The amazing wind conditions that make St. Barths a world-class sailing destination make it a perfect place for kitesurfing. For lessons, visit 7th Heaven Kite Surf School.
• Attend the Gourmet Festival in November.
• Have a picnic on the beach. Your yacht’s crew will set up everything for a picture-perfect meal.
• Go shopping. In Gustavia, you can find famous brands such as Cartier, Bulgari, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabana, Chopard, and many local designers. You’ll find everything from clothing to jewelry and souvenirs unique to the culture and tradition of Saint Barts.

Saint-Barthélemy , officially the Collectivity of Saint-Barthélemy ( French : Collectivité de Saint-Barthélemy ), is a new overseas collectivity of France . It was created on 22 February 2007. It consists of the island of Saint-Barthélemy and neighboring small islands.

The island of Saint-Barthélemy, also known as Saint Barts , Saint Barths , or Saint Barth , is in the Caribbean among the Leeward Islands . Its land area is 21.0 km² (8.1 sq. miles). Administratively, the whole island of Saint-Barthélemy was a French copmmune ( commune de Saint-Barthélemy ). It was part of Guadeloupe , which is an overseas région and overseas département of France. For this reason, it is part of the European Union . In 2003, the people voted in favour of becoming independent from Guadeloupe. They wanted to form a separate overseas collectivity (COM) of France. [3] On February 7 , 2007 [4] the French Parliament passed a bill granting COM status to both Saint-Barthélemy and neighbouring Saint-Martin . The new status took effect on 22 February 2007 , when the law was published in the Official Journal . [5]

St. Barts has long been considered a playground of the rich and famous and is known for its beautiful pristine beaches, gourmet dining in chic bistros and high-end designer shopping.

Saint-Barthélemy is about 150 miles east of Puerto Rico It is near the islands of Saint Martin , Saba and Anguilla .

Gustavia , which is the main town of the island, was named after King Gustav III of Sweden , and remains as a reflection of the Swedish period.

The oldest settlement still remaining is the village of Lorient (or L’Orient), although scattered in every cemetery on the island are Swedish grave markers. Lorient’s sister village on the French mainland is the city of Lorient on the northern coast of Brittany .

Of the 20 beaches on the small island, several are seen as especially inviting. On the southern side of the island, Saline and Governor beaches are pristine beaches with no development on them. On the western edge of the island is Colombier beach. This beach is only reachable by boat or a hike. St. Jean, Flammands and Grand-Cul-de-Sac beaches are also popular and attractive beaches which have hotels and other establishments on them. Shell Beach is popular for families with kids as it has little surf, and lots of tide pools.

St. Barths has a tidal difference of only 3 – 5 inches. The beaches vary according to ocean currents—the weather travels onto the island following the sun from the East. One of the main surfing beaches (Toiny) is known for its riptide, while Grand Fond is one of the island’s only non-swimming beaches. Although tourism does not allude to it, there are a small variety of warm water sharks in the Caribbean. So, swimming at dusk and dawn or in murky waters is not recommended. Otherwise, scuba and snorkeling are a great way to see the nurse sharks, lobsters, conch and green sea turtles that abound in the waters surrounding St. Barths.

The beach of Grand Cul-de-Sac is the easiest beach in the Caribbean to learn to sail, windsurf or kitesurf on, as it has a reef which closes off the entire bay. The current that passes outside the reef here also carries the migrating whales and dolphins.

This boutique destination show, hosted by the Virgin Islands Professional Charter Association, ticks the top three boxes of what yacht buyers today want in a yacht sales experience: the ability to yacht shop, wine and dine, and stay and play — making for a unique kind of boat show-meets-food-festival event.

“We welcome our attendees, both the public and those flying into our award-winning destination, to visit with yacht dealers, manufacturers, exhibitors, and our local and global vendors,” said Joseph Boschulte, USVI Commissioner of Tourism. “Experience the best of what the U.S. Virgin Islands offers on land and sea and shop for a yacht while you’re here.”

VIBE and Cutlass & Cane, Yacht Haven Grande St. Thomas’ newest restaurant, have partnered to produce a curated Food & Wine Experience, with lunch served daily from 12-3 p.m. including wine pairings. 

Yacht Haven Grande is also home to Blue 11, which has been featured in the 50 Best Restaurants in the Caribbean ranking.

All attendees can also visit a variety of pop-up bars featuring many beverages distributed by West Indies Company, including St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands-made Mutiny Island Vodka, the world’s first and finest Island Vodka made from breadfruit and Caribbean rainwater and St. Thomas-crafted Leatherback Brewing Company’s products, which offers craft beer made with Caribbean-grown ingredients.
