We loved this experience! Boat and Captain Terry were early and waiting on us when we got to the dock! The catamaran boat was a lot of fun, our first time on one and we loved laying out in the sun! Captain Terry gave lots of information about the area. Highly recommended!!

We are extremely happy with our trip today. Just fun and relaxing and not having to worry about anything because Captain Terry aka The Care Taker from Cumberland Island took great care of us. I would highly recommend Jason and Terry for a great trip. We already planning our next one. Thank you so much taking time out of your day for us. Much appreciated.

Amelia Island Marina is a full-service marina situated north of the Shave Bridge at ICW Mile Marker 721, shielded from the main waterway and approximately 4.5 miles south of the inlet. Our recently completed six-month dredging project has resulted in a water depth range of 6ft at mean low tide to 11ft at mean high tide, allowing us to accommodate for vessels with a deeper draft. The marina has 130 wet slips and 200 dry slips, along with a service yard complemented by a 50-ton travel lift. Through our valet service, our dry storage customers can request restocking from our ship store and refueling to ensure a hassle-free departure. Transient vessels are welcome to use our courtesy cars to access historic Amelia Island which is only 5 minutes away. The marina also offers, laundry centers, bathrooms, and an onsite restaurant. Great convenient location, a bit of a bike ride to grocery stores but doable. Great dock help, professional and knowledgeable. If wind is westerly request to be put on the inside of floating dock, can get bouncy on the outside with winds over 15.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fernandina marina. Very friendly staff and clean marina. The only issue we had was upon arrival we had a hard time getting into the slip due to strong current and wind and was put in between 2 larger boats which made even more difficult getting into the slip. Based on that experience, in the future we will request a different slip if we run into this experience again or we will find another marina.

Terrific marina and staff! 2 hours prior to arrival “Skip” the dockmaster called me to confirm and was very accommodating. The staff assists in docking - which made it a breeze despite the wind and currents. Dockside facilities (elec, cleats, etc) all excellent as were the wide concrete floating docks. Was able to fuel boat from its slip. We stayed 4 days when weather pinned us in. The adjacent village and eateries were great. Would stop there again happily!

This was my second stay at Oasis Fernandina Beach and this time, I stayed before the March 1 seasonal price hikes kick in. (They apparently raise their prices just in time for the Loopers coming through.) At $2.50/foot, its a little high for my budget but doable. They put me on the inside of the fuel dock, which turned out to be a good thing since they're dredging on the south side of the marina where the very long docks are. The marina has reasonably nice private restrooms with showers, a laundry facility ($2.50 for wash, $2.50 for dry), and good dock hands to help you in if you need it. The one thing Oasis Marinas do that really bugs me is giving out "welcome bags" that consist of logo tote bags with the corporate magazine and logo giveaways like a can cozy, lip balm, floating key chain, and eyeglass cleaner. (How about skipping the junk bag and giving me my 30 amp power for free?) The absolute best thing about this marina is its proximity to downtown Fernandina Beach, which has lots of really nice little shops and restaurants. You can get Uber (but maybe not Lyft; I had no luck) to various shopping for provisioning. The Atlantic Ocean Beach is a long but doable walk or bike ride due east. On my previous stay, I'd been bothered by a lot of noise coming out of some sort of industrial facility south of the marina, but it was quiet during this weekday stay. One weird thing was the arrival of an American Cruise Lines cruise ship just after dark; it loomed across the dock from me but was quiet enough. Another arrived in the morning. Apparently, they start two of their cruises from Fernandina Beach this time of year. In summary, I enjoyed this stay, which I used primarily to do laundry and shopping and visit an eye doctor. I did get time to walk around the town, which I really like. I recommend the marina, but not at their much higher in season rate.

The folks at the Marina were great...however by not having an overnight parking place for truck and trailer we didn't even launch the boat. We eventually took boat to Ft. Clinch ramp and were able to visit Cumberland. I rented a space at the u-Haul store for 2 nights while we were visiting. Too bad about the parking!!!! If guests are staying at Hampton Inn adjacent to Marina there needs to be overnight parking accommodations.

As for parking, there is trailer parking located at the marina, however, they are City public lots and require police department permission for overnight parking. We like Fernandina in general. However, we were assigned an inside spot on south inside with only 3' clearance bow and stern. Ran aground entering south dock inside which I'm sure is a known problem. Should not have to deal with this issue. Internet unusable despite promises for upgrades from our 1 month visit last January (2023). Dockhand sprovided superior service and handling to make docking easier.

A Note from the Marina: We apologize for this boater's less than satisfactory visit at Fernandina Harbor. As indicated in our profile, all of our dockage is side tie on our linear piers, and our facility does not have traditional slips. We encourage all boaters to review our profile and available amenities ahead of reserving a slip. Maintenance dredging is expected to be underway in the near future, which will increase the depth of our inside spaces near E-dock & the dinghy dock. As for the WIFI, we have added additional repeaters to enhance the WIFI range and quality. We hope to welcome this boater back for an improved experience in the future!

The transient per foot rate is equal to those marinas in St Augustine. However, the diesel per gallon ($4.99) is $1 higher than our next stop (Ft Pierce) heading South and the highest paid since leaving Connecticut. Camache Cove Marina offers a marina car for short runs for supplies. Oasis does not. Downtown Fernandina Beach (Center St) does not have any retail provisions within walking distance.

The one thing that would make this an excellent marina would be to fix up the bathrooms really nice. Ideally they shouldn't be so far from the boat, and there should be toilets for people that don't want to shower. Otherwise, good location, docks in good condition, and staff is nice.

Fantastic team, welcoming and helpful, socks are great, although for a smaller boat we would have benefitted from being inside. The location is amazing too to explore the town which is a must see. Our stay at the Fernandina Harbor marina was exceptional to say the least. We were scheduled to stay one Saturday nigh but that changed rapidly. Our boat lost power because of an electrical issue and we had to be towed in by Sea Tow. The dock hands met us at our slip and helped bring us in to a tight spot with perfection. We couldn’t get anyone to help us with our problem until Monday. Once we repaired and back running we had a scheduled trip home we couldn’t change, so the marina was able to work with us and let us stay an additional week during the very busy transient season. They need to repair or replace their dockside electrical. We tried 3 pedestal connections and all of them delivered only 103 volts. Every marina we have used in 6 years with this boat has had 123 plus. Our a/c reverse polarity red came on, again the only place. This is simply dangerous!
