Very friendly and clean inside service was awesome. The owner even came around and said hello to everybody you don’t see that every day so that was cool. The nachos were delicious. He got a lot of them. You could share with at least four people and they’re having a Super Bowl party. The Flyers is in my picture pretty awesome. Looks like it would be fun.

Had a great buger, onion rings, and a beer. Our waitress Carli provided excellent service. Warm and friendly atmosphere.

This is the hidden gem for engineers and assembly line workers. It's where you leave your title at the door along with your troubles. Come in let the spirits release the tensions away. The food is top rate along with the fine waitress staff. The Yacht Club has long been an oasis of the working man and woman alike. I suggest trying the steak, it's never tough and always tasty. Fried fish days are a delight too. Stay here long enough you'll definitely make some new friends. Again it's a olden hidden treasure with an atmosphere you can't franchise. It's either you have it or you don't and this place has it all!

Ahoy, me hearties and shiver me timbers!!! If you love reasonably priced drinks, hot food, great service, and scantily clad nautical naughties that swab the decks and keep your sails full, this is the place for you!!! Batten down the hatches, if you get too salty, always mind your manners, or you'll walk the plank!! Sing yer favorite sea chantey with this eclectic clientele. Don't be a scurvy dog, or you'll get flogged! So, if you have the savvy and sea legs, climb aboard and enjoy the ride!!! Weigh anchor and hoist the mizzen. It's always smooth sailing at the Yacht Club!!

9/23/23 Well I enjoyed another wonderful meal at Lake Point while watching the Michigan game. So I feel it's necessary, that I STRONGLY recommend to everyone, to try their Ribeye French Dip Sandwich with Fries. It's ABSOLUTELY Amazing. I also have to recommend the Awesome Cajun Rub Hot Wings that I tried after the encouragement of my Wonderful waitress Samantha (she prefers Sam). I've also enjoyed the Hot Dogs and Coney Dogs as well. I thought their Tacos were Ok but I would suggest that they add some taco seasoning to the meat itself as they were rather bland. This is definitely a great place to catch a quick bite to eat while enjoying the games on TV. I enjoy its rustic "Up-North" look and friendly staff. I had just eaten shortly before coming here so all my friend and I had were some French Fries that I found to be very good. One of the few remaining bars that is open late with a kitchen that is too! There is a late-night menu, but there is still plenty to choose from. Lake Pointe Yacht Club is a bikini bar so be prepared to see more of the wait staff than you will at other places. The kitchen is excellent. I've always been happy when I ordered wings, burgers, pizza's and other appetizers. I order beer, so that's difficult to get wrong. My wife orders mixed drinks and she always enjoys what they serve her. My wife ordered chicken fingers. They were juicy and tender, with a nice flavor to the breading. The fries crispy as they should be. I ordered two baskets of chicken wings; one buffalo spice and the other in honey barbecue. Each basket had a full pound of wings! Both were tasty, but I preferred the Honey BBQ. Remember, when it's late and you are in the mood for good Bar food and drinks, head over to the place that is still open and serving food and drinks!

This place has been here as long as I can remember? Never had a bad time here, never had a bad meal? In fact every single time I go in, I always say I need to come more often, because it's that great.

Have ordered a bunch of different menu items. Every time food comes out delicious. Only thing better are the beautiful waitresses!

Absolutely amazing perch basket. Huge portion. Fish done perfectly. Thin breading that didn't over power the fish. Very happy. We stopped coming about 2 years ago because the fish and chips was dry and not good the past couple times we came, we were so upset since we used to come every friday. We decided to give them another chance and WOW. Complete 180 turn around from staff to food. Great experience. We will be back for the perch basket. They also added a beautiful awning to their patio.

Good food. Nice view of Lake Newburgh. Great beer selection with over a dozen taps. My wife and I had a great meal - hot wings, so-called "Hillbilly Chili," burger, and fries. They had Oberon and Blake's on tap, and hard seltzer in cans. The bar smells like old barn wood (in a good way). The waitresses wear bikinis. It did not feel any more exploitive than Hooter's, Twin Peaks, or the like. If that's not your kind of thing, I told you before you stopped in.

Yes, this is a Bikini Bar… But once you get over that, it’s probably one of the Best Bars in Town. The foods good (Not unreasonably priced), the Staff is awesome and the Clientele is a mixed group of Working Class White and Blue Collar guys… Engineers to Pool Boys, all hanging out, shooting the breeze and having a good time. Wish there were more places like it!

Nice area near the water. The Pavillion was empty, but clean. The grounds are nice in the summer and it's a good area for picnics or to go fishing. There isn't a lot of parking, but it isn't a really big area.

The food is excellent! I've been here multiple times, never ordering the same meal twice and the food has always been fantastic! The service is outstanding and the scenery is 2nd to none!

This place is a lot of folks go to in this area. It has its theme of course but whether that's why you're coming here or not. I would come regardless. The drinks are reasonable, the food has been great and the staff has never been rude. I have no complaints, good place to spend a few hours with friends enjoying some food, beers and laughs while being close to the water.

We had the brunch. The lobster bisque, FRESH Oysters were amazing, prime Rib etc….. you cant go wrong. Friendly staff and I love sitting outside by the water. We go to Lake Pointe every time that we’re in the area. Cocktails were made the way I like them, Im picky. I did not have a reservation so we sat at bar & waited. Its a fun atmosphere and their regular clientele are friendly. Great place to say it’s your hangout. If only I lived near there. Enjoy, you will be happy you went.

We came for their Wednesday "Burger and a Beer" night, so everyone at our table got a burger. I can't speak for all of us (though I'm almost certain they would all agree) but the burgers were great! Nice buttered/toasted bun, burger was actually cooked medium as I requested, and they didn't skimp on the toppings. Plus, they have meunster cheese, so I was sold. And I'm glad Michiganders are fans of green olives on their burgers, because I love having some sliced olives to top it all off! The beers that came with the burger deal were not any that I was going to order: Labatts, Bud, etc. Bit for an "up-charge" you could get a bit better brew. I chose a Harbor Light from Petoskey Brewing Co and I thought it was great! I opted to just get the chips that came with the meal-others had raved about their sweet potato fries, so they ordered those for an additional charge- I was not impressed. The star of my meal-the Caprese Salad. Though it's a simple salad, it takes some skill to make it outstanding, and this was! As far as the atmosphere, while I can appreciate the gorgeous, tall, wooden ceiling painted with a compass rose, it made an echo chamber of the entire inside. It was LOUD! I was visiting family in Boyne, and we would have loved to have been able to hold a conversation around the table, but you couldn't really talk to anyone besides the ones sitting directly next to you. The outdoor seating is where I would choose to sit- I recommend a reservation. It was very busy (we waited 45 minutes for indoor seating) at 6:00 on a Wednesday night in the summer.

Firts time here. Food was good and so was the service. I would recommend. We had reservations and were seated outside at a nice table. We will be back.

We go here a lot. It's part of the Somerset Yacht Club and they have a Wednesday night beer and burger deal that we go to often. The beer is invariably a Horney Monk and the burger is always good. Lots of parking.....BUT....Damn the place is loud! High ceilings, hard walls and people that don't seem to be able to talk quietly. Otherwise I would have rated it a 5.

So I had some friends up north for the holiday weekend July 2016. Took the boat across to Harborage and found that docking was pretty straightforward and easy. The walk from the public dock to the restaurant was a bit of a hike but not that bad. My party of 17 was quickly seated and that should have been my first clue. The bartender was the only person working inside so it took a little while to order drinks but no big deal. The drinks took even longer to arrive and I could tell the bartender needed some help. We ordered our second round as the first arrived to avoid the inevitable delay. This did not help. The second round took longer than the first and at this point there were only two tables total inside. Our food took forever and she forgot to put in the order for chicken strips. Although she didn't say it, she must have forgot to ring it. When I mentioned this, I could tell she forgot and would have been ok with it if she just said that. Instead she blamed the kitchen. Maybe it was just a single incident of poor service but based on the lack of patrons, I would say the locals already know this. Avoid.

Friday night fish fry was pretty great. Lots of noise, couldn't hear the people I came with. Great live music ambience though

Really impressed with this place! Visited on a busy Saturday in June. Made reservations and they were right on time with seating. We order the duck flatbread and calamari for appetizers, both good although the flatbread was a little weird. But we ate it all. For dinner we had perch and hanger steak. Both were prepared perfectly! I had the hanger steak and orbits served with asparagus, portobello and fingerling potatoes. It was delicious and I will order again. No salads or bread served but that was fine. Will be back! Great view!

They claim that they lost my phone number when they cancelled my reservation of hold a private event. Thoughtless and rude. I talked to the manager when I showed up for my reservation (for my wedding anniversary) and was told there was nothing he could do about it. I would not recommend this establishment.

The food is okay, but the waitress and management staff made the experience extremely unpleasant. The waitress was sarcastic and unknowledgeable about even the basics. When asked about the cut of steak on the menu, she said "I don't know what you mean". After going through the possibilities, she simply said "I don't know" and didn't even offer to go to the kitchen to check. When we had the 3rd unpleasant experience, we asked for the Manager. When Wendy, "the manager" came to the table she was more interested in defending her waitress than finding out what would make us want to come back in the future. When we explained the incident involving the waitress' lack of knowledge, we were told that "she is one of my best waitresses and has been here 4 years" ... YIKES!!...doesn't say much about the rest of the wait staff. When one of our party suggested the owner would be interested in knowing some of the details of our night, we were told not to "name drop". It was obvious to us that Wendy has no restaurant management experience and was probably a promoted waitress or bartender that did not understand the basics of good customer service to begin with. Noone in our party would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

we've dined here 4-5 times and it's excellent-great food and ambiance, and waitstaff! walked in last minute New Years Eve and were able to get a table and spent an enjoyable evening w/friends. this summer we sat on the back deck overlooking the marina on 2 different occasions and had a wonderful time. plan to do New Years Eve again this year!
